الفندق يقع شمال المدينة وموقف الباص يقع أمامه ويمر بها لعديد من الباصات التي تذهب باستمرار الى الأماكن السياحية المختلفة. اذا اردت المشي الى الأمكان السياحية فهي على بعد 15 - 20 دقيقة مشيا وكما ان روما مدينة جميلة فالمشي فيها لطيف. الحجز كان سريعا , الموظفون مهذبون ومتعاونون, الغرفة كانت نظيفة, مرتبة بشكل جيد, الديكور جميل, مريحة والحمام كان جيدا جدا , نظيف وفيه ماء ساخن دائما - الأمر الوحيد كان موقع الغرفة داخل الفندق مما عنى عدم وجود ضوء طبيعي داخل الغرفة, الإضاءة متوفرة مع ذلك. الفطور كان خفيفا وحصلت ايضا على بيض مخفوق و لحم مقدد, دائما الكثير من الطعام, أماكن لتجلس فيها و موظفون مؤدبون. أنصح به

حجزنا غرفة علوية وكنا سعيدين بالمكوث في غرفة 534 , فيها سريرين كبيرين (ملكيين) , الأسرة مريحة , براد صغير, فسحة صغيرة في غرفة اللبس و مكان الطاولة...الموظفون ودودون ومتعاونون. الفطور جيد والقهوة جيدة. الفندق ببساطة على بعد 10-15 دقيقة مشيا من محطة القطار. موقف الباص أمام الفندق, يوصلك للمدينة.

مريح, ملائم وهادئ, موظفون متعاونون وودودون.

السعر في موقع hotels.com لم يتضمن 6 يورو ضريبة الغرفة. وهذه الضريبة بدأت في 2011, الفندق طلب المبلغ عند المغادرة.

WiFi was down but staff always was there to offer a hand, gave us great details into where could we go, etc. Vey nice and friendly

Staff unfailingly friendly and polite; room small but upgrade offered when a larger one became available; delicious breakfasts. Loved the very Roman decor (abundant marble, mirrors and gilding).

My daughter and I were traveling together. When we checked in, we went to our room only to discover that instead of the two twin beds we requested when we booked, we had one twin bed. We went back down to the desk where we got an arguement. She showed me a paper that said one or two twin beds. I showed her mine that said two twin beds. The reservation was for two adults. After about a half hour, she reluctantly gave us another room. The second room was not nearly as nice as the first one (not withstanding the bed situation). It looked like the hotel was originally two different hotels that were later combined. Half of the hotel was nowhere near as nice as indicated on the hotels.com website. Our room was in the worse half. The room was small but OK. The bathroom was uncomfortably tiny. The shower was so small you could barely stand in it without touching the walls. The location of the hotel wasn't bad but very far from all the places we wanted to go. We would not stay there again.

we didnt know what to expect from 4 stars hotel - after we saw pics from so much hotels - but wowwww - this hotel is very very nice - espacially after we spent 6 day in other place in the city (3 star and almost same price) we recomend strongly!!

We stayed here for our last night in Italy after arriving from Florence. The property is well laid out and very ornate. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is just steps outside the city walls and there are many restaurants nearby. Free wifi and continental breakfast are an added bonus. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is excellently located 20 mins walk easy walk from the central railway station. There is also a metro station with 10 mins walk to get directly to the old city and a bus stop right out side. The area is not as touristy as others so prices in the hotel (based on my experience) and in the surrounding area were very reasonable. The hotel is lovely and the staff very kind and helpful. The roof top bar is a nice place to relax and is open until 01:00 every night. Breakfast is good although espreso from a Nespresso machine is an absolute travesty in this country. The only serious problem is that my room was quite noisy when people were in the corridors and the cleaning staff thought it acceptable to have conversions at full volume outside my door at 8.00am on Sunday morning. However, this is still a highly recommended place!

We stayed for 4 nights-there were 4 of us in the room. Found the room damp and darkish-however the air conditioning was amazing!! Our rate included the breakfast but we missed out on it on 2 days because we slept in with the time change and the breakfast cap-i-tan was somewhat militant about not having anything after 10 am. I didn't understand about them making photocopies of our passports and thought they forgot to give them to us. The person at the front desk did give us some excellent advice on how to get to Positano- we took the train to Naples and then Salerno and then a ferry boat to Positano which was absolutely wonderful.

I would say my stay there in Turner Hotel Rome, was quite pleasing. The place is not far from Terminal, about 10-15 mins walking. The neighbourhood is quite alright. There is a local supermarket and vegetable market just behind the hotel. It was quite convenient for me. And the hotel service is good! people are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is actually quite good, at least I love it. Nothing on the negative side, if must say, maybe the air-conditioning is not that powerful for my room. However, the air-conditioning is not working that good neither at my working place, so I guess that is Rome standard. haha

Service is friendly. Bus stop outside to major destinations, hotel gives u a map and bus schedule so tt's very useful. New reception wing opened with beautiful painting on ceiling. Most taxis know of this hotel. There's a mkt and supermkt nearby. A good japanese resturant just 50 metres away called Sakura Sushiif tired of italian food. A lot of small snack bars around too. The. Breakfast at hotel is not bad, good selection. My only gripe is the room was very small for 4 persons. The vintage decor is interesting to enjoy for a few days else u will feel like u are trapped in a time warp.

I booked eoom for 1 person, it was small & dingy with a window that opened out to a wall with no natural light. I complained and they showed me another room only about 5per cent better. I told them it wasn;t acceptable either. The third choice room was far better, large and bright with lovely window opening onto the main street with a lovely breeze coming thru. I'd be tellling people not to book a single there. View the room before you check in as what you book may not look like the brouchure or on line picture.The staff were bit snooty, if you can speak a bit of Italian in ROme it's much better for you as a tourist.

Very upset as discovered during my stay that 20 Euros went missing out of my wallet which I left in my room. I did normally take it with me , but left it in my room on this one occasion. Discovered it was missing a few hours later, and although I cannot be sure it happened in the hotel I am almost positive as the cleaner came into my room twice, which I found odd.

Good Location, but most definately not a four star hotel and it is very misleading that it has been catigorized under four stars - Really honestly 2 star max - However pretty good location for walking, trains or jumping on a bus and not far Romes main termini station.

i got single room{418} very very small...window faceing nothing...no view nothing...no vagetable in breakfest...no water catle in room to preper tea or cofee...this is 3 star hotel max

The wifi connection was not good, so if wifi is a necessity, this is not the place to stay. It worked well for shorter periods, but kept falling off.

Pleasant hotel with comfy, elegant rooms. Nice staff.

Good services, kind staff and clean rooms. The breakdfast is good. The bed was a bit hard and the cover was miserable.. heh... very old. They should think more beds.. it is the main thing we need hotel for sleeping. Anyway... very good hotel.

I had a single room. Location is good. A bus stop right in front of hotel which is around 2 stops from Roma Termini. The smallest room I have ever stayed. Bathroom had a stench probably due to bad ventillation. Shower enclosure was so cramped up I could not bend to touch my legs. There was no hot water. The hotel buiding is quite old and hence it has some problems. The hotel is quite aesthetically decorated. Service and staff were good. As I was travelling most of the time the hotel was fine with me. But bathing was a very uncomfortable experience.

Conviniente location for buses stop that will take you almost everywhere to touristic attractions. Hotel was clean and neat. Friendly staff. Great breakfast, just gets a little crowded. Surprinsly clean and smelling good for being an old building. Could only freshen bed sheets a little more, but we love it!

When the concierge opened the door of our room it was damp, smelly and unbelievable. The bathroom fixtures used to be gold ages ago, now they were all scratched, and worse than that the water would barely come out of the faucets. The shower was one of the cheap ones you can find better versions of it in motel 6 or alike...Can not believe how they can claim 4 starts, while the quality of the room was next to zero star. The only star we are willing to give this place is for the welcoming staff.

The hotel is walking distance to the central train station in a quiet neighborhood. The property is well maintained, clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was a disappointment. The wireless internet (free) did not work. There were dirty towels in the room when we checked in. the shower did not drain properly, you could not turn the water fully on. There was no safe in the room. The smoke detector was covered with a red plastic cap. There was no emergency exit plan posted, I still don't know where the stairs are located. Breakfast was to start at 7 AM but was not ready until 7:15 AM (important when you have a plane to catch). The breakfast was on the lower end of quality. The male front desk staff (three of them) were perfunctory. Each time there was a question they gave the distinct we were bothering them. They also charged a room tax when the confirmation clearly stated all taxes were included in the price. Nice decor but this does not warrant the hotel having a 4 star rating.

If you like aggressive gilt and bordello brocade (and I do) The Hotel Turner is an excellent choice. It's clearly a hotel that has seen better days, but the rooms are clean, the bed comfortable, the towels fluffy and the decor fabulous. Don't expect the wifi to, you know, "work." That said, it's just about as far from everywhere you want to go as it can be and still be in Rome. The neighborhood feels like the Upper East Side and Washington DC had a love child, but I suppose even Rome needs to put its Ministry of Agriculture somewhere. To the left is an excellent pizza place. The gorgonzola and mushroom slice will go toes up to Jesus in your mouth.

Turner hotel was a lot less nice than I'd hoped it would be. It looked really good for the price when I booked. However: - there were bugs in the bed! I acquired about ten pretty big and conspicuous insect bites in bed over two days. Three days on they're still there and painful to the touch. Yeah. - The internet was almost non-existent. There was a pretty cumbersome username/password scheme to access the wireless, but the big problem really is that the connection speed was worthless, (and the connection kept dropping) even to check email. Forget about anything more bandwidth intensive. - The location: it's not too bad, but you should be aware that this place is at the north/east edge of central Rome where all the sites are. From it to Palatine or the Colosseum (southern edge) is about 3 km, while St. Peters or the Vatican museum (eastern edge) are a bit more than 5 km away. Mind you, the walks involved are quite pleasant and take you through the heart of Rome, so if you enjoy walking it's a perfectly adequate place to stay. Still, if you prefer being more central you should pick something else. - The good: the rooms actually do look nice. Marble and gilded panels and such. The breakfast is sumptuous. They don't hit you with hidden charges. Overall, I'm pretty sure you can find something better / more central at this price.

I was not amused by the Turner hotel at all. Yes, the location is not bad, but it could be better. Yes, it has free internet, but it can be quite moody and it's on and off. The staff is certainly friendly but when one is paying for four star service one does not expect a room that can be generously described as an elegantly decorated cupboard. My two cents, pick a different place. It is absolutely not worth your money.

The hotel was certainly well priced. The room had the basics and was clean. I was disappointed that the promised WiFi did not work in my room. To their credit the person at the desk had a bellman walk me to a few other rooms to check - and was willing to move me if one was better - but none was. So I had to go sit in the lobby anytime I wanted to be on-line. Also note that there are a number of bus lines right outside the door but metro stops are a bit of a walk

We we're delayed getting a flight out of Rome and needed to stay an extra night. Turner Hotel Rome was an easy solution close to the train and very affordable. Enough that we had the time and Euro left over for a nice dinner and even better, a last minute ticket at the Borghese Galleries, plan ahead and don't miss this site! The Turner was pleasant but may be suffering economically. The room was clean but not as sparkling as accustomed in Sicily BnBs. An earlier review of the Turner noted a remarkable hearty European breakfast. I was satisfied but fresh fruit was substituted by fruit cocktail from a can, juice was from concentrate, and pastries were not quite fresh. Recommended but not to enhance a Roman holiday.

I stayed at the Turner for 4 nights when I was trvelling in Rome by myself and I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me a map and a list of the buses that would get me to all the important sites. I stayed in a single room that was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!! It was easy to get into the heart of the city and near all the tourist attractions using one of two buses that stopped a 30 second walk from the hotel. If you wanted to walk it only takes 20 minutes to get to where the Trevi fountain is. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Very helpful staff and decor, clasic Italian

This by far has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. In all my years of travel, I never had a negative experience before until I coming across this one. I’m not one to write reviews but after my experience at this hotel I just had to do so. Believe me if you want to enjoy Rome DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! You will regret it!!!! To say the least, the front desk was arrogant, no air conditioning, and the bathroom was dirty and moldy.

This was not a 4 star hotel except for maybe the wallpaper. We had 3 rooms. We had to change our rooms because the air conditioning was not working. We moved but the room was hardly better. The other 2 rooms were hot, hot, hot. We were very disappointed with the 4 star rating.

Good value for money, old style but charming and convenient location with friendly staff- only the AC could have been better!

I enjoyed my stay here. It was the best breakfast I had in any of my hotels in which I stayed in Italy. The customer service was excellent. I would have stayed another night if I hadn't of had a reservation elsewhere.

Just back from 4 nights at the Turner which we thoroughly enjoyed. Chandeliers and silk covered walls give a period feel to the bedrooms, whilst marble, mirrors and gilt adorn the dining rooms. When there is so much history to enjoy in Rome we liked the historical style of the Turner, plus the fabulous memory foam beds ensure a good night's sleep after a long day sightseeing. Our first night was in a room looking out to a ventilation shaft - not ideal - but we were able to move the following day (confirm you have an outside window if that is important to you). Staff were helpful. They provided hot water and milk when we came back at tea time but I'd recommend taking a kettle. Buffet style breakfasts catered for all tastes. Buses stop outside (direct routes to the Colosseum and St Peter's, plus others)or its a 15-20 min walk to the Termini. Hotel is undergoing some redecoration work to public areas but this didn't cause us any problems. There are a few eating places locally - the Giggetto was excellent. Fresh pizzas (and other dishes) in a non-touristy restaurant, with better prices than the city centre. Rome is a fabulous city and we are determined to go back - having thrown our coins in the Trevi Fountain we should make it and we would happily stay at the Turner Hotel again. Suitable for couples, singles, families but not wheelchair uses.

The hotel or at least my room was in a state of disrepair, and very dirty with faded and worn wall coverings with holes in the Taffeta, and also worn furniture, dirty bathroom walls and floors, shower door fell apart. I had a "YUCKY" feeling all the time I was there. I took pictures to prove it.

Vi startede med at ankomme trætte efter rejsen, og få besked om, der ikke var reserveret noget værelse til os. Vi kunne dog fremvise print af vores mail fra Hotels.com. Efter "søgen i deres computer" fandt de vores reservation og anviste os et værelse ledsaget med oplysningen om, at vi måske ville blive bedt om at flytte til et andet værelse den følgende dag. (da vi kun havde 4 dages ferie, og iøvrigt var tilmeldt en heldagstur rundt i Rom den dag, var det ikke det vi ønskede at høre) Vi blev vist til det værlese der var ledigt (suiten) af en piccolo der åbnede døren, og overlod os rummet uden nogen som helst information om hotellet iøvrigt. Vi gik senere ned i reseptionen og hørte til tiderne på morgenmaden. Morgenmaden viste sig at være buffet i en yderst skrabet udgave, dog med mulighed for at tilkøbe æg og bacon, eller hvis man ønskede mulighed for at tilkøbe salami og ost. Udsenet på hotellet var spændende med mange smukke detaljer, omend slidt.
