Great hotel. Service, room, food and bar were all great. Only other comment, as a female travelling alone I was unnerved finding the hotel at 9pm at night due to the walk from Central Station. Very convenient location though.

Excellent front desk staff. We had a problem in our room with the cistern not filling up, the problem was addressed however ot rectified so we were offered an upgrade straight away. Room 1007 ihas freat views of the Clyde. There was maintainance ongoining throughout one night of our stay and being a light sleeper kept me awake until the early hours again I mentioned this at check-out and staff were most apologetic, The breakfast was fresh, hot with a good selection. Everything you need for a wee stay in Scotlands friendliest city.

My Wife and I stay regularly in various hotels around Scotland. We stayed at the Jurys Inn Glasgow for a Saturday night and enjoyed an afternoons shopping followed by a few drinks and a meal in town. The location of the hotel couldn't be faulted, the staff were most friendly and courtious and the hotel was of a good standard. I would not hesitate to use the hotel again and in fact are planning a return trip later on in the year with a group of friends. I recommend the hotel without reservation (pun intended !!!).

Very convenient location,Parking in multi-story opposite,although deal on this unclear as "validated" ticket would not allow auto exit. Extra paid for "Superior"room but not as good as a standard "Premier Lodge" Breakfast ok and staff pleasant, but not up to the original "Doyle" standards ,We did not dine in the restaurant.

Not a bad hotel by any means and I would stay here again if the price was right but all a bit identikit American style hotel away from the ground floor. A shame they haven't extended the US practice of free wi-fi - incredible that UK hotels of this type are still charging when independents provide for free. Redeemed by a decent breakfast but overall no more than 3.

This hotel is ideally situated for Central Railway station in particular but is also handy for Queen St. Station and the bus station. It's close to the main shopping area and a short walk from the Merchant City for bars and restaurants and if your'e on a budget I can't recommend it highly enough.

Staff at this hotel 1st class and helpful. Double bed in room had a broken spring sticking out of the side and my husband caught his leg on it, reported to the staff on front desk and they acted immediately sending someone to investigate and replace matress. The breakfast in the morning was very selective and suited all tastes. Would stya at that hotel again. 1st class.

Very Disappointing. This hotel overbooks! I booked several weeks in advance and when I arrived tired at 5pm, I was told that the room could not be vacated until later that evening. I eventually got into my room at 11pm only to find that it was a smoking room (not at my request!). We were moved the next day but this practice is simply unacceptable. The hotel is frequently used for groups of football fans and during my last three stays at the hotel, the noise from drunken crowds has kept us awake at night. The staff do their best but I'm afraid, I could not recommend this hotel to anyone. If it was not for Gary, the General Manager, we wouldn't have continued our stay at this hotel.

Lovely helpful staff. Brilliant location. Room basic but perfect for me as I have friends in Glasgow so was just using it as a base for meeting them. Area immediately around hotel not great but then very close to city centre+transports.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and even ran until 10.30 which was great to have a long lie. Nothing to complain about.

Nice, clean quite rooms very easy access... parking was bit problamatic.... but rest is ok...

really convenient for station and shops - had a room at the front - no noise from the street or nearby station. we'll definitely stay there again

From the moment we arrived we were comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. As I don't Iike lifts, so have to walk upstairs, I'd asked for a room on a lower floor- it was on the 3rd floor which I managed to walk up to fairly easily. Our room was twin bedded. the beds were very clean and comfortable and it was a good size so we were n ot following over each other. The toiletries were provided in large bottles which were well placed next to both handbasin and the shower and the bath was low, so no problems getting in or out. Breakfast was provided in the restaurant on the Entrance floor, hot food was hot and there was a good variety of everything. Jurys Inn is situated in the city centre so getting around was easy and you can walk almost everywhere. We were amazed by the number of buses, they run frequently and many go near the hotel itself. I can strongly recommend this hotel and Glasgow City. A very enjoyable visit.Judy

good central location, a few 'character' about but nothing too out of place in a city centre.hotel staff all very pleasant, as is the norm in glasgow.friendly AND efficient...rare anywhere these days!only one gripe and its so small i wonder should i bother..but i will..water pressure on the 7th floor-not good, made the shower not as powerful as i like, but i guess the hotel was pretty full and everyone showering around the same time, wouldnt help, but i still managed to stay fresh and clean.cant fault the value for money, hotels.com gave a great price for the 3nights we stayed. would def stay at jurys again.glasgow is a great city with friendly people...even in the 'posh 'shops!!great food places in this city, too many to name, will endeavour to try as many eateries as my stomach can take.go now, if not sooner, to this diverse city, something for everyone there.

The room was great value and the buffet breakfast was one of the best I've had

Having stayed in this hotel on two separate occasions it is pot luck if you will have a room at the front with a river view or a rear facing room at rail track level. The room comfort levels are basic but it is the constant train rumble that will keep you awake most of the night. However, if you are a train enthusiast you won't need to leave your bed let alone pull on your anorak to enjoy your hobby. I will not be staying here again.

On arrival the key to my room didn't work and I was sent back to the tenth floor twice without any success before I requested someone from maintenance accompany me and this didn't give a good first impression and to add insult to injury I was 'checked out' by mistake on the second day of my stay and had to make my way back down to reception to tell them my key wasn't working again. The only other complaint I have is that the shower curtain had a stale smell and this smell permiated the whole room.

Our room had great views of river and railway.We could watch trains entering and leaving Glasgow Central Station... a bonus for my train-buff husband. As we arrived in the early evening, we decided to eat in the hotel bar. BIG MISTAKE. The staff were very helpful but the food wasn't up to the standard of the hotel. Of course, these things are subjective but we felt let down by this experience. Overall, however, for an overnight stay, we felt satisfied.

Not allowed in due to Hotel having wrong name down for room only after wife came in to Hotel was i allowed to enter. This was after me having spoken to same person night before re lower floor which was agreed at booking but not available on arrival. I was in 911 the other party that was with us were in level 3

I felt like I was in college dorms but had a nice stay.

This was the first time my wife and I have stayed in a Jury inn and we were suitably impressed. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was comforatble, clean and tidy with ample amenities. Great choice at breakfast and the hotel was well situated for shopping ( not so Good for a man ). We would certainly recomend this to family and friends

Jury's Inn is centrally situated in Glasgow, within easy walking distance of main shopping streets and well served by public transport. Main museums, galleries etc are within easy reach. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and ideal for a short break. Dinner in the restaurant was not good value for money - portions were very small and were overpriced. We stayed on a room only basis and decided after our dinner experience to have breakfast elsewhere. Better value food can be found in other places nearby.

Good location and nice hotel bar! Room was a little dated and the shower was very disappointing.

Hotel in general was excellent location with friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only slight downside was that the room decor was slightly outdated without much natural light and the cooked breakfast wasn't great but did the job. Would definately stay there again for a weekend trip but perhaps not the most romantic setting.

Had booked the Jurys hotel for a trip to glasgow for a concert. Found hotel to be very clean with friendly staff. location was great.

Excellent stay - with a room overlooking the Clyde which made the weekend special. Food good, staff friendly. What spolied the visit was the struggle to find the car park when we arrived. Then when we located the car park, hacing to carry all baggage across a busy main road to the hotel entrance in the rain! I suggest clearer directions are supplied at time of booking. Other than that I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Very central location.

we arrived early and were allocated our room straightaway. lovely room with view over the clyde. no complaints whatsoever..

The staff were very cooperative and helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard and the breakfast was more than adequate. A good start to the day. My only reservation would be the rates charged for internet access. Asking more than 25% of my room rate for 24 hours of internet access seems excessive. Most hotels, and all the rest on my trip, offered free internet access in the lobby if not in the room. Other than this one revenue grab I would recommend this hotel whole-heartedly.

The hotel is in close proximity to the Enoch Shopping Centre which is great. The beds, however, in the hotel are small and uncomfortable. I was over for a sporting event and although I like a sing along as much as the next person, 3 o,clock in the morning on the hotel corridor is not the time or place. Had to ring front desk twice and was then told the culprits (my words) are just waiting to check out. Also, we were put in a "disabled" room which i think was an adjoining room and on the first nite I could hear the conversations going on next door - from around 2am until I left in the morning "10am". Also, the bar staff were extremely slow. Other than this the hotel ok.

Room had a terrible outlook over railway station .Soundproofing very poor clickety clickety all night from railway. You can hear everything from all adjoining rooms.Each side and above. The room above had a bath at 1am we heard everything including the release of flatulance whilst person was in the bath CHARMING. We went to get a coffee at bar area there were 6 people behind bar and two supervisors clearing tables tried for 10mins to get served eventually gave up and ventured out to McDonalds nearby.This was full of neds with facial abrasions and scabby nuckles did not stay long. Checked out one day early very disappointed girl at check out did not even ask why we were leaving a day early, her only comment was that she was only a trainee the supervisor was told we were leaving early and immediately exited out of sight into an office never to return. NEVER AGAIN
