Berlin Marriott Hotel - برلين

We had 5 nice days in lovely Berlin with 6 nights on this hotell, which we most certainly recommend. We stayed in a clean superior room with much space and good view. The service was excellent, and the restaurant had good food and professional staff with a nice and friendly attitude. Our only remark is that the bathroom could have been better adjusted for a wheelchair user: The toilet was too low with no handles to support. The washbasin and shower could also have been better accessible.

Very well situated, minutes from the metro system. Very clean and accomodating facility. Friendly staff and personnel to meet all of your needs.

The location and staff are fantastic. Four days after check in one of the young ladies at the front desk remembered it was my husband's birthday and went out of her way to wish him a happy birthday! The restaurant staff remembered my cappucino every morning without my having to ask. And you are within walking distance to almost everything you could want in Berlin. The only criticism we have was the concierge. He was rude and not too helpful. He was bored with our questions.

We spent a nice weekend in Berlin. The best thing in Marriott was excellent service and excellent breakfast. What makes our stars to stay in 4 is the low pressure of shower and some problems in the cleanliness of our room (dirty spot in the curtains and readily dirty carpet towel in the bathroom).

A wonderful choice. Minutes away from all transportation means. Sony center a 4-5 minute walk. Beds were extremely comfortable. Internet works great in the room. Fee to use Internet. Chose breakfast buffet. Excellent food, great choices. Worth adding the buffet. Secure parking for a fee. Great location. Excellent choice.

Hotel set in quiet setting one street back from public transport and pick up points for hop on / off buses

we liked this hotel very much, the rooms are very clean, the kids liked the pool. it is 2 minutes walk from the metro and bus. there are many restaurants around - its right in potsdamer platz (sony senter).

Absolutely wonderfully placed hotel to reach every part of Berlin and beyond. Having stayed in the Kurfurstendam area on my last visit I found this hotel was perfect for the use of the rail network. Arrive at Potsdamerplatz turn around and hotel is directly in front of you. Would definitely visit this hotel again. Very helpful staff and lovely leisure facilities albeit only pool and sauna.

Following reading other reviews of this hotel, booked for a long week-end in December. Hotel was just as other reviews as stated, really excellent location, just 1 minutes walk to the Potsdamer Platz, which has a lovely shopping centre, underground station and plenty of restaurants. The rate we booked included car parking (which we didn't require) and breakfast. Although the children would have eaten for free in the hotel, it would have cost approx. 30 Euros each, so well worth getting breakfast included in the price. The staff were extremely helpful, delivering a tray to make coffee/tea, robes and slippers for adults and children. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were also able to offer helpful information about the city and how best to get around and where to eat. Hotel was very clean and the breakfasts were AMAZING. Plenty of fresh fruit, cooked breakfasts and they would make pancakes, waffles and omlettes to order. You could have as much as you wanted before heading out for the day. The location of the hotel is ideal for all the major attractions of Berlin. It is 1 minutes from Potsdamer Platz and you can easily walk to many of the main sites from this hotel. It is 1 minute to the edge of the Tiergarten (beautiful park) and only a 10 min walk through the snow to the Brandenburg Gate and Riechstag. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone, they seemed to have a wide range of clientelle from all over Europe and the children had a fantastic time and are asking to go there again. Would definately stay in this hotel again. There was a beautiful Christmas market and ice rink there in December and the Christmas decorations in the shopping centre were beautiful.

In the Potadamer Platz section of Berlin, a very new hotel with many new buildings in the area. There are many restaurants in the area and you are very close to the public transportaion that can take you all over the city. The Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate are about a ten munite walk away. The hotel has a very good restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there is a very comfortable bar just off the lobby.

The Berlin Marriott lived up to the chain's reputation. Staff very friendly and professional. For example, when the chap on reception learned that the children wanted to swim in the pool, he moved our rooms to closer the lift to the floor where the pool was situated and arranged for robes to be delivered to our room asap; breakfast provided a very good selection of food. Pricy if not included in room rate. Would stay there again and would recommend, unreservedly.

The breakfast is very expensive 32 euro and is not included in the room price.This makes you look for alternative breakfast places not exactly comfortable when you are an early morning person. Every place is opening around 9 am. Ather than that the hotel is ok and worth the money.

On arrival, they did forget that we had kids with us but promptly made up beds for both of them. The hotel itself was fantastic, staff excellent and room spotless. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back. the only faults were that breakfast was a bit manic, with so many people we had to eat out in the foyer, also if you want to eat in the steak house then book early, again we couldnt get a table until 10pm, either a case of over booking or kitchen being smaller than required, but food was again exceptional.

If you want to be within walking distance of all the tourist attractions, stay at the Marriott. The room was very comfortable. I did not use any of the hotel facilities as I was out and about the entire 3 day stay. The hotel staff was ok, not very friendly, but acceptable.

This hotel is a more traditional American style compared to other European hotels I've stayed at. Larger hotel room for a standard size. They had an ice machine!! Simple pleasures. Very close to U-Bahn and S-Bahn station. The Potsdamer Platz is a happening location. The only thing I didn't like is that we had to pay for internet service.

観光地を巡るには便利な場所でした。ホテルも清潔で、応対も良かったです。キングサイズベッドルームを予約したので、広くて快適でした。高い料金ですが、朝食も種類が多く美味しくて楽しめました。

Som konferenshotell bland det bästa jag varit på. Maten är av absolut toppklass och servicen är fantastisk. Gymmet behövdes efter all den goda maten.

Das Hotel war sehr gut, das Personal ist ein bisschen sehr Nachlässig. Beim Frühstücksbuffet bestellte ich Ei und warte noch immer drauf, es kam einfach nicht. Obwohl weder jemand vor mir oder nach mir dran kam. Bestellung aufnehmen und nichts machen ist schon sehr dreist. Das Personal vom Romeservice wiederrum war mehr als Freundlich und lieferten lieber doppelt als einmal zuwenig :) Alles in allem stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis und ich werde das Hotel wieder besuchen und kann es weiter empfehlen. Ich habe öfters in Berlin zu tun. Sonst war ich Gast im Ritz, Hyatt, Adlon. Ich kann dazu sagen mit dem HYatt und Ritz kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall mithalten. Allerdings ist Adlon eine klasse für sich.

Park-Platz in T-Garage zu teuer ( 28,00 €) pro Tag Das Frühstück ist sehr gut , aber bei Einzelkauf wesentlich zu teuer ! (Glaub 32,00 €

Vi hadde to meget bra døgn på hotellet. En service som mange burde strebe etter å få, fantastisk velvilje. Vi var to voksne med et barn på 8 år. Eneste og utsette var at bassenget var til oppgradering men det er sånt som av og til må gjøres. Nydelig frokost, betjening som oste av service innstilling. Anbefales på det varmeste til andre også. :)

Man må absolut sige, at det er et flot hotel, hvor alt fungerer tilfredsstillende. Meget lækker morgenbuffet og dejligt område omkring poolen og fitness-rummet. Dog finder jeg det helt absurd, at man skal betale 20 € for et døgns internetforbindelse på et 5-stjernet hotel. Det var ringe. Og dobbeltsengen var en halvmandsseng.

Hotellet utmerker seg med veldig bra service, høy standard og bra beliggenhet. Vi var 3 familier på tur, og stortrivdes på dette hotellet. Svømmebassenget var en grei aktivitet, etter sightseing og opplevelser. Frokostbufeen var utrolig bra. Store flotte rom. Hvis en skulle si noe så savnet vi en plass å sitte ute. Men det koselige området under tak med Sony senteret, rett i nærheten, var et godt alternativ. Dette hotellet anbefales for både barnefamilier og andre som vil oppleve det gode liv i Berlin! Super hotel, med alle de faciliteter man har behov for og lidt flere. Hyggelig og afslappet atmosfære og en rigtig lækker morgenbuffet. Beliggenheden er perfekt lige ved Potsdamerplatz og gåafstand til mange af de vigtigste seværdigheder.

This hotel lies between Potsdamer paltz and Tiergarten. Just a few steps from both. It will take about 5 minutes to walk to the Brandenburger Tor. We had booked a family room, on arrival we where asked if we would like to upgrade the room and breakfast the next morning. This upgrade cost almost as much as the room it self, but we opted for it anyway. This gave us a top floor room with two queen sized beds, just enough for 2 grownups and two children. The breakfast was opulent and the service thru out the hotel superb. Bringing our two dogs where no problem.
