Just spent a night while preparing for a flight out. Room was quiet and clean. Hotel staff was friendly.

I didn't sleep that well because the bed was kinda uncomfortable, but other than that, the place was great.

No fault of the hotel but I booked this thinking I was booking at another Country Inn and Suites so I was disappointed when I discovered we were not going to the place I intended. The staff was nice and the hotel was ok. For the price, it was acceptable but I would have paid more for a better hotel - especially with a family. My husband will consider staying here when he is on business in Chicago by himself. Rooms were clean but the entire hotel is older. The pool was old and the pool deck was not cleaned at all while we were there (two nights) - I could tell because the same used band-aid was on the concrete every time we used the pool. There was also A LOT of chlorine used in the pool - enough to make my eyes burn. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. No cookies either - a nice touch at other hotels in the chain.

For the price, the hotel was nice. Our room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was adequate and the cookies were a nice touch. Free parking and wifi were nice too. The front desk personnel was very helpful and friendly. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes I would.

We were very pleased with the accomodations provided by this hotel. Very warm welcoming staff, and helpful for area attractions too. Perhaps the breakfast area could be larger, there were quite a few people trying to squeeze in the eeating area. But it did work out fine. All food was good and a nice selection. We appreciate the special extras that are provided by Country Inn Suites.

It was a pretty good hotel. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear the neighboring guests. Good breakfast.

The hotel was nicer than I expected. My room was clean and nicely detailed. The room faced a golf course and was quiet. The breakfast was excellent with waffles, eggs, cereal, juice and fruit. The staff was courteous, they had books and games to borrow, and even a small exercise room. The bed was comfortable. Highly recommended.

Your operator told me it would cost me about $10.00 to park from Fri thru Wed. The hotel charged me $8.50/day. She said if I booked thru them I would have gotten the package deal for parking. Would have been nice to know that the shuttle only runs once per hour. Ended up paying a cab $22 to get to ORD. Took 15 minutes to check in with only one person in front of me.

We stayed this hotel last week. It was nice hote for the price I pay. Love the breakfast with warm food. and it severed few hours. The best about this hotel is the service. The fornt desk person Lisa tried very hard to arange the shuttle for us. I really appricate her service. I highly recommed this hotel for everyone.

We looked for a reasonable priced place to stay - prefereable with indoor pool. We had stayed at motels on the road - and wanted a bit better - and booked the County Inn. And it was far better - (good) breakfast included - great room standard - and even a pool - and still very reasonable priced - compared to the motels - and much cheaper than the comparable hotels closer to Chicago center. Having a car - one can get to Chicago center in 30 minutes - so distance was not the issue. The only thing - and that was really a dissapointment - was the pool. Have you ever been to Iceland? The blue lagoon? The pool at the hotel was the same experience - the water was totally white - you could not even see the bottom on 3 feet... the water was totally dirty. I told the reception - and they initiated cleaning. ... despite this we chose to stay for 3 nights - and on the last day the water was much cleaner... but still not clean... they really should improve here - or close the pool possibility...

Convenient to Chicago and the Western suburbs.

I have stayed in many Country In and Suites. This particular property is only average for the brand. The price was very attractive. The service was excellent, both at the front desk and during breakfast. The room cleanliness was very good. The pool area was a little "tired", but my kids loved the warm pool temperature and the whirlpool. The breakfast area was undersized. For the price, it was a good value and experience.

When we first got there, two groups of people had problems with their reservations. We were then given the wrong room number, someone already staying that room. Manager came down and fixed all three of our problems promptly. Front desk agent was pretty but not the best at handling the situation.

We received great service at this hotel, particularly from Dolly who worked at the front desk. She was very friendly, and was able to help us with all our needs from an extra diaper for my baby to a great restaurant recommendation. She even printed out directions on mapquest for us to get to a local business. There were many options for breakfast, and there was an employee who was very quick to re-stock any of the items, wipe down a table or counter, or empty the garbages. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who needs to stay around the O'Hare airport, or just wants to get a hotel in the Chicago area but away from all the congestion of the big city.

Room was fine, as was the service. The only real drawback is the size of the breakfast area was much too small for the size of the hotel. I never did find anywhere to sit in there, so would have to bring my breakfast to my room.

The staff was very polite. The TV received one channel. The computer in the lobby did not work. Room was nice & clean. Hence a nice place to only sleep.

A few problems, handled well by staff..hard to find, as not noticed on GPS. Easy to catch shuttle and grab the cta train from ohare...thanks!

Staff were very helpful when asked for directions or hotel information. Breakfast was nice and convenient when time is short. Good value for the price.

The hotel price was great. Location was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little above average. Indoor pool was a bonus. The only negative was the parking. There was not enough parking so numerous cars had to park across the lot in a gravel area off the road. This made it difficult with small children. The hotel staff said they were working on that problem.

Great customer service! Kid friendly, very reasonable price, helpful staff, and close to O'Hare. Will definitely go back.

I callled the day before my reservation and asked about early arrival time. I was able to check in at noon due to medical conditions. Hotel was very clean and staf was very helpful. Will probably stay there again when the need arises. Quiet, too!

Paying 3 dollars a day extra for higher speed internet is rediculous.

The hotel was wonderful. I stayed in a double queen with my husband and our 3 kids. Everything was very clean and the staff was more than helpful. The breakfast was great. Definitely highly recommend going there if you are staying in the Chicago area. It's a bit off to the west right near the O'Hare airport but not too far from the city.

Hotel is quiet and well kept. It is close to O'Hare and the 290 freeway, with easy access to the 294 toll road. It requires a car as it is out of the city. the pool and spa lloked good, but the fitness room is an elliptical, stair climber, and treadmill, not much else. the breakfast was good and hot. It would be a good place to lay your head for at least one night, maybe longer, if you were driving into the city for entertainment.

Travelling by myself, I felt very comfortable at this Hotel! Super friendly staff! Free internet and close to O'Hare

It was a little farther out than we expected, being new to the city of Chicago but so comfortable and a lovely surrounding area. We regretted our stay was one short overnight!

Good place to park at night actually close to roads and local amenities. Not up to usual for chain but they were in remodeling mode.

The hotel itself was very nice, but the only reason we changed hotels to stay here, was that they advertised Free Airport Shuttle all over their website. It wasn't until we called to schedule our pickup from ORD to Hotel that we were told that it didn't run during the day - just mornings and evenings. Their scheduled times didn't mesh with our flights at all, so we had to pay huge cab fares to & from the airport.

This was a clean and solid example of hotels from this chain. Spacious room, nice pool, decent breakfast and friendly staff. Our room was nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. However, the pool area and the hotel in general could use some TLC--a bit of wear and tear is evident overall.

Not really O'Hare, but close enough to be everything that I needed. Pool and hot tub were exactly what i wanted. The King suite was perfect for my family. My Uncle went with us and he used the fold out and we stayed in the king bed with a door that closed and we each had our own TV's. Excellent customer service. I joked as we were checking in about the complimentary cookies and asked if they would ring my room when the batch was hot out of the oven. They laughed, and they actually called! The internet was slower than most places though. big bummer as I needed to get stuff done quickly. But overall, this is my new O'Hare hotel!

We stayed here the night before leaving from the O'hare airport and weren't here long. However, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was not cramped. Everything was clean.

Clean room, comfortable beds, fun in the pool, good breakfast, and super quiet/next to a golf course. The hallways are "under construction" needing new paper, and the front desk person never got a rollaway bed up to our room, but the managers made it up to us, and I would still recommend it as a great value for the price we paid.

They are in the process of renovating the hotel, so it might change quickly, so none of this might be relevant. The mattresses were spongy, the decor shabby and tired, and the walls too thin. But their breakfasts are always decent, the pool was clean and their cookies were warm. It's a bit hard to find the place and while close to the airport, we never heard the planes once we were inside.

The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, at Ohare South is an outstanding hotel. The rooms is clean, the exercise room is OK, breakfast OK. The linens are clean. The only negative is that the parking lot and the approach to the property need some work to cover the pockmarks. The parking area also needs more night lighting.

Very nice staff and service....but presently in need of the refurbishing being done. The suites have only one house phone and there should also be one in the sitting area. Furniture just so-.so. I have stayed in many Country Inns and this one not up to usual standard. Hopefully this will greatly improve as the place is refurbished as the sggest it will be. Breakfast area not set up well...but staff was most pleasant.

I use Country Inn & Suites as one of my first travel locations. The Bensenville one is having some much needed work done that should correct problems. Staff was excellent and helpful. Shutle Bus was not operative, but they arranged for Taxi's which worked out. Morning breaksfast was not as "good" as other sites, but acceptable. I am sure that in a few months they'll be be back with a higher rating.

Excellent stay, just wish there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Everything else was great:)
