One big problem was that ther were never enough lounge chairs or cushions for pool area or beach. saw colege kids having to l lay towel down on cement and lying on that, everything else ws grea,,nice clean rooms,good price, great location

Older hotel but great location. Good value

Centrally located on the Hotel strip, ammenities average. The hotel was full of partying drunk canadians on spring break, it didnt make for a relaxing stay. Breakfast is very average, i would recomend eating out. Toilet had trouble flushing, and i had issues with my key pass. The hotel is getting quite aged. They were pleasant to deal with, if you get the room cheap enough, its a good location.

Merits : comparativley cheap, swimming pool is okay. good private beach without any open bar demerits : assignment to another hotel without any customer's consensus, less variety on buffet, only two restaurants (no Japanese food), no walking distance to CocoBongo night club area

We upgraded to the junior suite with ocean view and it was SO worth it. The location is perfect to entertainment and great food. Nothing was further than a 10 minute bus ride. I was a little hesistant when I read the other reviews but after staying myself I would definitely go back

This hotel is being remodeled and they start working early @ 8am and do not let u sleep we was there a week and it happen every morning hard to get rest you hear the hammers banging worst after having a long night being woke up by this sound

considering most areas of Cancun are not wheelchair accessible, the accessibility of the flamingo Hotel was minimal but a lot better than the rest of Cancun. Overall a very satisfying hotel.

Hotel was ok. Right on the beach. Food was so-so, depends what you are looking for. Ditto for area. The hotel zone is all commercial american stores, Outback, Bubba Gump, shopping. I stayed twice for 1 night each, after being in transit. Staff was nice but my second room there stank of cigarettes despite a no smoking sign in the room. First room had very small bugs in the bathroom. For the price it was as expected and absolutely fine, but if you're looking for upscale this isnt it.

Great location, beautiful beach and pool.... clean hotel, friendly staff, the hose keeping does a great job cleaning your room everyday, great little restaurant called tacun with local food and low prices.... the price of our stay was so economical that you have to overlook the stinch of odor in the room, the room key stops working almost every night so you have to walk back to the desk everynight to get your key reset, the gym has very old machines, you have to wear a wristband the whole time of your stay which is very uncomfortable, horrible shampoo! BRING YOUR OWN! I personally prefer just cotton sheets, not the ones with wool and the comforter with all the floral designs b/c its hard to determine the cleanliness of the sheets. Small t.v... these are not life or death matters, just the things that make the hotel worth its value.

Some of the staff was really nice, but the front desk service people were rude. We had to wait a hôur to check in because they didn't have our room ready. The house keeping staff didn't change our sheets or clean our bathroom all 3day we were there. The food was alright. The event staff were friendly and helpful. Safe location. Hotel in general was dirty. Used cups floated around in the pool until the next day. Towels were dirty.

The rooms smells bad, the sheets are almost yellow..the bathroom ceiling was dripping , staff was friendly but that was the only positive thing in the stay. Could not sleep cos the sheets smelled of mud, so changed hotels . The pics they post are not real. I would never go back...Trust me spend that extra money and stay at a place where u can actually relax and not have to worry about when were the sheets washed.

This place was horrible. We went there with a group of friends. Being that it was a "resort", they make you wear the stupid bracelets at all times. It feels like you are cattle. My friend, who didn't speak a word of english, took his off when i took a shower. Later, when he was seen without it, the management got extremely hostile and there was a huge lack of communication between the two. After 5 guys yelled at my friend in a language he did not understand, they kicked him out. Being good friends, we waited with him all night on the shady latenight streets, until the sun came up. The whole trip was ruined due to this experience. Take my advice, never stay here. And if you don't speak spanish fluently, if you dont like dirty conditions, and if you like to be treated with respect, then his isn't the place for you.

I hqave done the reservation in one of our drs who will participitate a congress in cancun but she was very unhappy with her stay !

Com certeza a qualidade visual e de conservação do hotel parece ser bem inferior à dos outros hotéis da redondeza. No entanto, os hotéis das proximidades são, na maioria, 4 ou 5 estrelas. Este se trata de um 3 estrelas. Já me hospedei duas vezes nesse hotel e me hospedaria novamente. Quarto limpo e funcionários agradáveis. Não espere mais do hotel do que o valor que você pagou pela diária. Você leva o que vc paga. === Certainly the visual and conservation qualities of this hotel look lower than the quality of the other hotels in the neighborhood. However, they are majority 4 or 5 stars hotels. This one is about a 3-stars hotel. I have stayed two times at this hotel and would stay again. Clean rooms and nice employees. Don't expect from the hotel more than the value you are paying for your stay. You get what you pay for.

I enjoy the deluxe rooms on the 6 th floor which has access with a key card. Excellent view of the ocean on the balony plus quiet and comfortable. Coffee and internet room on 6 th floor. Hotels location ideal and close to shops, party zone, and restaurants. Security and phone in lobby to call home. Not too large. Staff is friendly.

good place for a short stay-we had a time share booked and stayed here because we came a few days earlier than our reservation. Nice staff, comfortable, would stay again.

ok about the price but no coffe in the room, no fridge, AC noise, no WIFI, internet in the lobby very very poor. in the day you have only one bar open, in the the pool, the another one but you cannot smoke anywhere. the meal was so so.... the personell was very nice but i think is the managment wan;t to spend nothing to improve the old hotel also is located on the street, caotica, nisy ; if you have the room on the street you are dead !

My room had no phone, no clock, alarm or radio and the shower totally sucked. Also, the bed wasn't comfortable and the pillows were very small for bed pillows. All in all not good.

Good place to stay, good price and very clean. But no internet wireless...

The Desk Clerk "upgraded" us to a ocean 'view' room on main floor with no "view" and it had to be worse room in the place: no towels, every partier screaming past our room all night. Horrible stay. Will avoid in future.

The Flamingo is a great hotel to stay at, I will stay there again. The swimming pool takes up the center of the hotel and has bridges to swim under. The staff was excellent and very helpful when it came to finding my luggage the airport lost. Stay here if you go to Cancun and go to Senior Frog down the street.

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located. the beach, the pool,the room and the people were outstanding.

Prima hotel voor de lage prijs, op een perfecte locatie. We hadden all-inclusive geboekt, eten was prima. Ontbijt en lunch waren standaard en goed, diner was zeer uitgebreid, gevarieerd en erg lekker. Het strand voor het hotel is mooi en was heerlijk rustig. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Kamer was schoon en netjes, maar wel vrij klein. Het enige wat eigenlijk mist is een leuke bar buiten aan de kant van het strand, waar je 's avonds lekker een drankje kan doen. Dit moet je doen bij de lobbybar (bij de receptie) met niet een erg fantastische sfeer, en deze sluit al om 00.00u.

Eher kleiners und älteres Hotel mitten in der Hotelzone von Cancun. Personal im Frühstücksraum immer sehr nett, bei der Rezeption weniger, aber auch noch ok. Begrenztes Angebot von Liegen mit Schirm am Strand, im Hotel beim Pool besser.

Pessimo atendimento!!!!!

1. El restaurant es muy malo. 2. En la playa hacen falta palapas y servicio de bar. 3. Poca coordinación interna con lo relacionado al manejo del deposito abierto (para clientes de no All Inclusive).

Para quem vai a Cancun para curtir os passeios vale a pena optar por esse hotel pelo custo x beneficio. Agora se vc quer curtir o hotel é melhor investir num hotel com uma infra melhor, principalmente se estiver com criança. O Hotel me atendeu bem, pois praticamente não parei lá. Não espere muito da comida , eles são pouco criativos nos pratos e todo dia era praticamente a mesma coisa... Limpeza boa e funcionarios educados

A localização do hotel é excelente. Foi possível um upgrade para localização em frente ao mar com frigobar. Pena que precisei, após pagar pelo serviço, pedir 4 vezes pelo frigobar, que demorou 7 horas para chegar. Sugiro que comprem o pacote já com café-da-manhã, que é bom, no restaurante do hotel. Comprei só acomodações e me arrependi. All inclusive, só para quem quer ficar desfrutando da piscina e da praia particular do hotel. Para quem quer fazer os maravilhosos passeios de Cancun, é melhor pagar pela diária só com o café mesmo.

estuve entre el 14y el 18 de Enero del 2012,fui con mi esposa e hija y realmente fue la peor experiencia de todos los hoteles en los queme he ehospedado,para empezar la promocion que ofrecen en internet es una farsa ya que no es lo que se pone ni se pinta allio sea ponenuna buiena foto pero nada mas que eso. El cuarto tenia los focos quemados,el agua del lavamoanos se atoraba,no tenia refrigeradora,elaire para enfriar el ambiente esta bloqueado (sucio)por lo que el frio no sale casi nada,mesquinos con las tollas. En conclusion realmente recomendaria por el precio que se pagaaqui mejor se vayan a la ciudad es mas barato todo (los tours,la comida,el hotel)realmente todo y encima que te quejas te piden propina y no te solucionana nada de nada. si lo tomas te arepentiras te lo prometo te doy un ejemplo tuve unproblema y el administrador me respondio que ellos no podian hacer nada con este problema y que yo lo solucionara como mejor podia en conclusion unos malos Amfitriones

El Flamingo e sun hotel economico, con habitaciones simples y amplias. Lo mejor es su ubicacion, frente al mar y cerca de bares y restaurants. Lo peor, los elevadores.

Plus: *stort rum *många handdukar *ligger nära shoppingcenter med många bra restauranger *stranden precis utanför hotellet är mycket fin! *trevlig personal *familjär och bekväm stämning Minus: *Wi fi kostar extra *frukost kostar extra *man fick ett plastband att ha runt handleden *det var väldigt tydligt att de ville att vi skulle beställa aktiviter i hotellets regi, kunde vara något störande att de påminde om det varje gång vi skulle gå ut

Para ser un hotel de la bonita Zona Hotelera de Cancun deja mucho que desear. En esta época hace mucho frío en las noches y el agua tibia de las regaderas de este hotel no es suficiente para tener una ducha agradable. Las toallas estaban sucias y percudidas. La cama (matrimonial) tenía 2 cojines peque;os en lugar de almohadas. Es un hotel viejo en general y no disfturuté mi estancia. Recomiendo buscar alternativas.

El hotel está en condiciones aceptables, pero el servicio es terrible. No resuelven nada, no son cordiales.. y es el único hotel en el mundo que en pleno 2011 te quiere cobrar por el wi-fi!!!! Me parece que hay una falta de cordialidad, e inclusive de delicadeza y servicio hacia el cliente. Ya lo presentía, por eso sólo dormí en el hotel, no se puede esperar una gota de buena atención. Afortunadamente la cama estaba hecha.

Fin beliggenhed, men all inklusive mad er vel generelt bare bunker af kedelig masseproduktion og personale der ikke har kender til god service. Vi fandt dog ud af at all inklusive også gjaldt hotellets restaurant der ligger ned imod stranden. Her var maden god veltilberedt og tjenerne opmærksomme og venlige. Godt fif, hvis du planlægger et ophold på Flamingo. Vi havde ofte besvær ved receptionen, nøglekortet gik i stykker, vi lavede en ny reservation til efter vores rundrejse og skulle så booke på nettet for at det blev billigere men det blev også en del mere besværligt.

Es excesivo el costo del hotel para los servicios que ofrece y el estado del hotel es deprimente, depues de un hotel buenisimo en el que estaba en la riviera maya con mi novia, y que me costo lo mismo que el hotel flamingos, me daba hasta pena estar con mi novia en ese hotel

Na hora do meu check in acabaram não cumprindo com o que eu tinha contratado, com cama king e de frente para o mar. A comida é péssima e o café da manhã uma pobreza. Ainda bem que eu havia cancelado o serviço all incluse, pois caso ao contrário minha insatisfação seria maior ainda. Não recomendaria esse hotel para nenhum amigo meu, Sem mais, Maristella
