Onyx Hotel, a Kimpton Hotel - بوسطن

Luckily, we only stayed one night. My girlfriend and I arrive at Onyx Hotel on the evening of June 5, 2013. We reserved a King Bed for the night. Instead of getting what we reserved (a king bed) we got 2 full beds. What was the front desks responce? "we're sorry!" That was it!?!? We're sorry?! For the price we paid for the night, we expect to get what we paid for and they couldnt accomodate. There were no discounted rates, they didnt spend anytime asking what they could do for us to resolve this issue, nothing! Again, we only stayed for the night... we went up to our room to shower from our long day of travel and low-and-behold... the shower head is broken. Not only broken, its mounted on the side wall where, when turned on... the water would shoot directly out of the tub! So proceed with caution when exited the tub.... We were able to get clean and eventually get comfortable on that little bed they gave us but i will never be back to that hotel again and definately wont reccommend it.

To be honest we were rarely in the hotel apart from sleeping/ freshening up however would return. Close to North Station and Haymarket T stops. 25 minutes to airport by T. Lots of bars/restaurants near hotel. North End or Quincy Market areas within 10 min walk. 9/10

very good, high quality. Location fine, but lacks good restaurants close by. For a Kimpton, it did not have a great restaurant at the hotel. On the pricey side, but worth it.

Everything was very nice, I would book there again. Only problem was that I could not get Wifi in the room, even with the password. Staff was very friendly & helpful!

The Onyx is a very pleasant, "boutique" hotel right near TD Garden. The neighborhood offers little, so be prepared for overpriced breakfast and snacks, and expensive bottled water. I probably won't stay here again.

Very nice, no complaints

The room was small for 4 people but very clean. The staff was amazing. Helped us with restaurants to go to, sites to see or anything else we needed help with. The hotel is pet friendly. We had a great time in spite of the cold rainy weather.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us. Employees were extremely nice to us. Would have liked to see a little cleaner neighborhood, but there was no trouble for us whatsoever.

Not a good area what so ever unless you need something on top of TD garden. A/C barely worked, hot water in the shower took 10+ minutes to warm up, then only lasted a few minutes. Hotel seemed to be in rough shape from the hallway / room. Overpriced by about 5x. Only positive was the staff - front desk was very friendly and overly helpful.

My family had a very positive experience at the Onyx Hotel. We attended for a Boston Bruins game just for one night and the staff made our attendance and experience very positive. Unfortunately our little guy got sick during the night, but the staff was very supportive and efficient in helping us deal with this. They genuinely cared how my son was and helped in providing care for him. I loved the hotel and the location, very close to TD Gardens. Great experience!

The staff was amazing and it was very close to TD Garden, which is why I picked it; went to a concert there!

The quality of service for this hotel were amazing. Everyone was so helpful and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. They provided us with recommendations of bars and places to go to and left a complimentary bottle of champagne in all three rooms when they found out we were celebrating my sister's bachelorette party. The rooms and the hotel were both clean. No complaints about this hotel at all!

Room to small and over priced for what I got.

Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful.

Great location! The room was small, but comfortable and very clean. Although fully booked, it was very quiet which was surprising. We were able to walk to dinner at a recommended restaurant and then to TD Garden for a game. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would mention is plan on valet parking because self serve parking is very limited - and the cost to keep your car in valet was $45 from one afternoon until the next morning.

Ok hotel but not worth the price. Expensive parking and food as well and seemed like 3 star quality for 4 star prices, nice location though.

Mike and Zoe at the front desk were fantastic!

Overall it was a great experience, walking distance from many restaurants and the Garden

Went to a Celtic's game. Very close to the Garden. Everyone was so friendly. Very clean and slept great. Excellent hotel!!

We came to Boston for a night away and a Celtics game. The location is phenomenal! Parking prices are insanely high, especially on game day, they charge $45 at the time of parking& another $45 at 5am. (The hotel does not have private parking). The room was nice, very small, there was dust on every surface. The girl at the front desk made sure to tell us they have 24 hour room service, which is great, but very pricey as well. ($14 for a turkey sandwich). We just walked the 3 minutes to Boston Beer Works and got a pick up order instead.

Couldn't think of a much better place to stay if you're staying in Boston for a game at the Garden. Literally just a few hundred yards from the Garden and there are several bars/restaurents steps away. The valet fee is a rip-off, of course. But this is rampant at Boston hotels. I guess it beats staying some place out of the way and having to cab it around after you've had 19 drinks.

All went well for tho hotel. Thumbs up

The hotel is less than a block away from the TD Garden, where the Bruins and Celtics play their home games. This fact is something to consider (positively/negatively) when booking this hotel.

The noise levels were too loud. Students partying in a cluster of rooms, and trash pick-up at 4:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning.

Even in the dead of winter, the hotel was a quick walk to Quincy Market, Little Italy and the subway. The staff were very friendly and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We would stay in a Kimpton Hotel again in a minute.

I felt very pampered and comfortable. This hotel was great for recharging and relaxing. I would definitely return my next time in Boston!!!

great hotel, good location. clean, except there were someone's old hair pins on the bathroom floor.

The room (although small as would be expected), was comfortable, clean and in good condition. Service was excellent. The simple things made the difference, Hot Chocolate in the lobby for the guests (as cold as it was outside this was very welcoming!), consistently good service from the front desk (gave excellent breakfast recomendation and directions when needed). Location - The hotel is in a great location. We were going to a Celtics game and the Hotel is right across the street from TD Garden. Short walk to North End. All around a great experience.
