Great for families. Pool is very cold.

Room was nice. bed comfy. bathroom nice. your basic cookie cutter type hotel. stff iendly. yo cannot beat its location. right in h middle of evything. definatey staying again.

Great location to fun nightlife. Had a great time in the hotel bar as well. Self Parking right next door saved some money.

Wanted a last minute getaway! Michigan Ave to the West and Timothy O'toole's to the East! Thanks Neil!

Staff is really helpfull no matter what time of the day or night.its clean and close to all the stores on the mile

I stay at Marriott hotels as much as possible, as I love the Marriott experience. The staff was so accommodating from the time we checked in to the assistance from the concierge when the group needed to depart to two entirely different directions when leaving. The location was great to go to the Disney and the American Girl store at Watertower Place. I travel every week or two for business, and I would rate this very high on my "like" scale. I would have loved to have a Jacuzzi in the pool area, but loved everything in spite of it. Thanks so much to management and staff for making this a great experience!!

The location is a block off Michigan Ave., and quite close to very nice alternatives for eating, as well as cultural attractions and shopping. Knowledgeable and friendly staff helped as well!

Very nice hotel with close parking. Only problem was the heater in the room didn't work. Good thing they had extra blankets in the closet.

It location couldn't be better. Front desk people so professional and helpful. Viand restaurant is exactly what you need at the end of your day, either you're visiting Chicago or in a business trip. Rooms are extremelly clean and functional. Plasma TV as all hotels should have at this time. Wireless internet for free. I got much more than expected for the price.

I was checked into two bed room with one un made bed , Dirty towels in sink & 1 trash full. Requested service to fix at 6pm, reminded when going to dinner at 8 & when returned at 10 pm. Never fixed. Too late to change slept on top of bed with clean towel. Not my usual experience with Courtyard. 2nd night was good as typical. Great valet & desk staff.

This hotel was more of a medium size, which provided for a more quiet saty. I preferred this over the busy larger hotels. Very clean, and the staff was amazing!

The hotel staff were very friendly and informative. I especially liked the colors in the room, it was very warm and comfortable. I highly recommend it!

This hotel is in a fabulous location, about 1 1/2 blocks from the Magnificent Mile. Of the services and amenities I used, all were fine. The price of the room is probably in the mid-range for the location and what the hotel offers. It was a standard hotel experience: the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious (especially considering the location) and clean, and the people at the desk were helpful. One plus is that there is a Business Center with computers that guests could use when they wanted. Another plus is that there is a Garrett's popcorn store practically next door. Since it is so close, you can time your purchase to avoid standing in line. ... I would stay here again.

Great location for getting to several attractions, good restaurants, shopping, etc. Would definitely stay there again.

From the check in experience to the restaurant (Excellent Filet as part of the 3 course special which was marvelous) to the fitness center and the location (near Michigan Avenue), this is a very nice property that is well managed. I highly recommend the hotel, and am considering it as an option for the holidays with my family.

My wife and I live in Milwaukee and visit Chicago often. We do not spend a lot of time in the hotel when we visit. We have been trying different hotels, hoping to find one we can stay at every time we come. This is it. A block off the mile, reasonable parking cost, and near Navy Pier. This hotel is within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, water was hot, and the pool was perfect (and warm). We brought our own bikes and biked and ran the Lakefront, over 35 miles. After searching for a great, reasonably priced getaway hotel for a while, we finally found it.

Near Navy peer and beach by walk approx 10-15 mins; 3 blocks away from shuttle on Grand street; 1 min away from Michigan avenue and the shops; Approx 10 min by walk to State/Grand subway train; Starbucks in the lobby and nice Italian coffee shop around the corner (great croissants, coffees, etc.)

Perfect location for the Magnificient mile and Navy Pier. Very helpful staff. Good value compared to other hotels in the area especially given that WiFi is free (which is not the case for many of the neighboring 4 star hotels which are more expensive). Would stay there again if ever back in Chicago.

A friend and I spent 3 nights in Chicago to celebrate our recent birthdays. We found the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Magnificient Mile a quiet yet sophisticated hotel in the middle of the city. It is very close to the Magnificent Mile with lots of shopping and restaurants. The rates were comparable (if not slightly better) than other hotels we had priced. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. We just had to start toward a door and the bellman would ask if we needed a cab and hail one for us. The concierge was particularly helpful; he arranged tickets for a Trolley Tour, an evening boat ride (complete with spectacular fireworks), and a comedy show at Second City (where we laughted until we cried for over 2 hours!). The concierge also recommended shopping at Foxx's and other boutiques in Lincoln Park which we found more fun than on the Mile. One night we arrived back at the Marriott around 11 PM, tired yet hungry. The gentleman at the front desk suggested a restaurant that has 24 hr. delivery. We savored pizza in the comfort of our room. Because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the Marriott, we had one of the best times of our lives. Our birthday celebration was more than we had hoped. I am sure that when we come back to Chicago we will stay at the Courtyard by Marriott.

the hotel was nice enough - clean, comfortable. the rooms weren't anything spectacular; in fact our room never reached a desireable temperature. luckily it was a very mild day. it is very well located near restaurants and easy to catch a cab to go to the pier which is only a 10 minute ride. if there was no where else for a similar price i'd stay again but i'd try other places first.

No problems. Let us check in 3.5 hours early. Clean, polite, and answered questions we had. Close to everything. The only thing we could have asked for was better weather!

ALL the hotel personnel where very friendly and helpfull. The bellman helped with restaurant recommendations and reservations. The bar and restaurant staff where right there with everything you needed. Hotel and room where clean and neat, I did miss the usaully extra-plush mattress and bedding I normally find at the Marriotts, however it was clean and comfortable.

Polite service, comfortable clean room, decent price (for Chicago). Nothing great but good quality, good price, polite service. Rooms were a bit small but my family and I will stay again.

Our hotel room was ready when we arrived from out of town and we were allowed to check in a few hours early. Great location - clean & safe. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

We had a mother-daughter getaway to celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday. The location was the perfect walking distance from sites, restaurants and shopping. We were able to park right around the corner from the hotel entrance in a safe/convenient parking lot for a pricey fee. The hotel was welcoming and comfortable.
