Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Europe. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was very large and comfortable. The hotel portion is essentially new construction, so the rooms are large and well-designed for a European hotel. Good restaurants/bar, with a very nice American style breakfast. Great location. Overall, an excellent value given its amenities and location.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Palais! It was a beautiful hotel and the service was excellent, especially from Eleanor, the concierge! She was hands down the best!! She made everything SO easy and helped me get around Nice with no problem and even gave me her opinion on something's to do in the city!! Without Eleanor I would have been lost! The hotel was beautiful and the location was wonderful!

We had wonderful experience and they acomodated our needs for third bed in a room with two double beds. Thank You

Very comfortable, GREAT location right on the beach and access to lovely shops and bistros. Also very easy access to airport, 15 minutes right down the street.

We were very satisfied with our stay here. My wife and daughter and myself recently did a trip around southern France. We generally tried to stay at lower priced hotels. This was our one splurge, but the price of the hotel was worth the great location and amenities. The valet parking was expensive (30 Euros a day) and the food was expensive, but very good. There are other dining options close by that are less expensive. The concierge was very helpful. The front desk staff spoke English which was nice for us with our limited French. The promenade is a great place to walk/run/ride.

The hotel is in an ideal location, close to the sea and local restaurants. The bus from Nice Airport stops just across the road from the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Used the sauna and the pool, although I would say the pool was a bit chilly.

Very good hotel. Great staff, good size room, very clean. Lovely bar , cosy and great colours - highly recommended. Food in restaurant the only slight let down.

Great hotel in great location although no espresso machine or iPod dock as was advertised. Small negatives for an otherwise great hotel.

I would recommend to say at the Palais De La Mediterranee I think it is the best hotel in Nice France.

It was centre of Nice see front and very conveniant for all resturant and shopping centre.

Best Service, Most Beautiful Property & Excelent Location. Will recommend 100%

We stayed at thıs hotel for four nıghts. We had a beautıful recently renovated room on the 9th floor, overlookıng the sea. The room was excellent. The servıce was excellent, they were all very frıendly, very kınd and extrenly helpful. The locatıon was very convenıent and also the concıerge was very helpful. In two words ıt was ındeed an excellent hotel ! I recommend thıs hotel to anyone who wants to have a perfect well pampered stay ! Deffınıtely one of the best hotels !

Best address in Nice. Great location.Had three rooms for 4 nights. One room with city view had a wall in front of our window and much smaller. Kids got the better rooms and we got stuck staring at a wall for two nights. Gentleman from the front desk moved us to a room with city and ocean view with a great balcony for the last two nights and the disappointment for first two nights was forgotten. Great restaurant on terrace, excellent service and very friendly staff. Great room service. Would definitely stay again. Car parking was very convenient. Great Experience.

Stayed here for 5 nights and didn't have any complain. The room was big and airy, also the wifi worked great all over the hotel. The hotel is centrally located and is walking distance to the flower market, good restaurants , the bus stop and the railway station. Would definitely stay here again if i were to come to Nice.

The hotel is conveniently located to the beach and close to the main square in Nice. Staff are very polite, rooms are very clean and have terraces. The pool is a small but good size. Only downside is the toliet is separate from the bathroom.Overall a very good experience and would stay there again.

Biggest disappointment was the "outdoor" pool. Covered during part of hotel because it is inside the building. Ver limited seating. Everything else - breakfast buffet, room, and service were par. Nothing exceptional. Waited a very long car to get valet to bring car around on way to airport.

This is a very nice hotel. The room is very large compared to European hotel rooms. It felt much more like a American hotel then anything else. The staff is very courteous and nice. The only drawback was the excersize room was very small and didn't really live up to the description in their literature in my opinion. We liked the neighborhood although it wasnt perfect it was about as close as I think one could get while in Nice. Very safe even at 2am there were many people still walking around the area. It seems as tho most have dinner around 10:30pm and then walk it off. Very enjoyable and will return to hotel next time I'm in area.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Palais De La Mediterranee. This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. We had booked a Superior city view room and our only concern was that the room was very small, room 908, I would questrion whether this was a standard size as all other superior rooms did appear to be larger. Quite tight space for two people. The concierge were excellent, Brice especially was only too pleased to assist. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this Hotel and hope to return on my next visit to Nice.

Only a short stay at the Palais De La Mediterranee but wonderful Hotel in fab location. Staff were great, only too happy to help. Would definitely stay there again and certainly recommend to friends.

This is a beautiful, 5 star hotel in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with one exception. One day we had lunch in the restaurant on the 3rd floor and had to be moved when it began to rain. Our server totally forgot about us and we waited 45 minutes before finally asking where our order was. In that time, no one came to check on us or offer any explanation. After another 10 minutes we finally got our food and they very nicely complimented our meal. However, we asked for more coffee once our lunch came and we never saw the server again!!! This certainly isn't 5 star hotel service even if they did compliment our meal.

Nothing more, nothing less. Great location, professional and attentive staff, very clean, even more comfortable, quiet, well furnished and spacious. This was our 2nd visit and we'll likely be back again in the future. Highly recommended.

Great hotel and as per all other reviews, great location, great room very quiet with the external blinds down and the double glazing and thick curtains even if it was noisy outside - which was not - it would have been very quiet anyway. Great pool, small fitness gym but overall highly recommended I will stay there again and the staff was so nice and professional, I have stayed in many high class hotels all over the world and I can tell you that staff attitude is paramont in any Hotel and they are fantastic and well trained and very pleasant, I hope that this review gets back to thier managment who needs to be congratulated in running this hotel.

The Palais de la Mediterranee exceeded our expectations in terms of service, decor and comfort. The front desk reception was first class as was the concierge who kindly help us find good bouillabaisse nearby. They were extremely helpful, professional and pleasant during our stay. My husband is a hotel owner/develper/manager so we pay close attention to the details of hospitality. This was one of the best hotel experiences we have had in Europe. The only negative was the breakfast room was a bit depressing but the service there was very accomodating. The Pingala Bar was a fun place to have some great tapas. While we did not use the spa/fitness area, it was very nice as was the outdoor area on the 3rd floor that looked out onto the beach. We would recommend this hotel without any reservation though the rates in season are high.

This hotel was simply beautiful! We have a very large room, even by Amerian standards. The bathroom was huge, complete with a large shower, separate bath tub, and towel warmer. Lots of counter space and two sinks. Our large balcony with table and chairs overlooked the sea... unbeatable views! The location was perfect. Easy walk to Old Town Nice and Massena Square. I cannot imagine any location better for a Nice vacation. The staff was helpful and friendly and all spoke English very well.

Nice hotel. Great location on sea front, so would be great in summer. Pool is great. It's heated and you can swim from indoors to ourdoors (even comfortable when it's cold outside). Free wireless access in rooms is very convenient. The old town is about a 10 min walk along the promenade

The hotel was really fantastic all the staff were freindly and the food at brekfast and in the restaurant was very good

This is the best place to stay in Nice. Perfect location for views of the Mediterranean and ease of access to the beach. Close to all the best restaurants & shopping, too. The nearby parking ramp was extremely convenient for drive up access and valet service. The large, modern rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. I will be back again & highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Arrived at Nice from the US and stayed one night in this hotel before traveling to other destinations. Although expensive, the room is spectacular, as is the hotel. The location allows walking to the markets, stores, and resaturants. Breakfast is additional. We walked to a nearby restaurant for crepes. If you want a luxury type room, this is the place.

The view from this hotel is the stuff postcards photograph. Everything was as expected; not great value for the price, but certainly luxurious and comfortable. Our only disappointment is that the two different concierges we spoke to needed an attitude adjustment.

Stayed for 2 nights in August 2009. We had a wonderful stay, the service in the hotel was excellent and staff were very attentive and spoke excellent English. The room was beautiful and the bed comfortable with lots of creature comforts - the one exception being a kettle. Instead they had an espresso machine which made very good coffee (according to my boyfriend) but as I don't like coffee myself I would have preferred a kettle and some teabags. Anyway, a minor gripe in what was otherwise an excellent stay. My only other comment would be that breakfast was not included and was very expensive at €19-27 per person. Also the hotel has a private section of the beach opposite, but it does cost €17 per person to use it, which seemed a little steep to me given what we had already paid for the room itself. Instead, we used the hotel pool (free for guests) which was superb, in sunshine for almost the whole day, had excellent poolside waiter service and delicious cocktails! Overall, I would recommend the hotel and had a great stay here - it just wasn't very easy on the bank balance!

Concierge was very helpful. Loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Staff was bilengual, friendly, and always willing to help. Hotel location is amazing.

Best location in Nice. Right in the center of the Promenade. Best hotel pool in Nice too with their 1/2 indoor, 1/2 outdoor swimming pool, so you can go for shade or sun while swimming. I was traveling with my 3 year-old and we forgot the stroller at home but the concierge let us have a stroller for free for our whole stay. The staff and especially the concierge were great and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
