This is locate right in the heart of the night life of Makati. There are many bars, restaurant, and shopping center is close by. very reasonable price. Hotel staff are excellent. friendly and very helpful. room was clean, ac works great, internet was fast. Will stay here again when I come back.

Ok, know where you are going and consider how much you are paying. That said, the Oxford Hotel is not bad! This was my 4th stay (my 1st review) and I must say that the Oxford is a good value. I have stayed at other hotel (4 & 5 star) and can't say that I felt safer. Check-in was easy. The new internet service is easy to use and was fast. The gym is small but good enough to sustain you until you get back home. The breakfast is good with both local and western selections. I would recommend that you try it out!

Hotel is in the hot zone of Makati, not safety at night but not so far from the center of Makati. Rooms are enough spacious and with good breakfast. During the night, too much noisy for traffic, for people, and for music. About our room was enough clean and spacious, every days big problems with our air conditioner, there is a safety box and a fridge-bar, every morning newspaper under the door. Reception is not so polite with our costumers and pay attention don't lose the room key because it will necessary to pay an expensive penalty. It's very comfortable hotel's taxi service.

Best location for the area. Clean and well lit door staffed 24 / 7. You don't need to leave the hotel as there is in house restaurants or if you do leave, you don't have to walk more than 200 ft to be in good quality restaurants. Maybe 200 yds to a great Italian restaurant. 7-11 300 feet away. Walking distance to fast food and multiple banks. Hotel is in the 'red light' area of Makati, but this is not a bad thing. Bars / clubs for entertainment. Taxis right outside the hotel if you wanted to leave the area for shopping. Hotel is about 24 stories high and offers different views depending on which way you are facing. Local tourist police patrol and I did not see any crime or open drug use. Friendly street pedalers selling many differnent items from shoes to belts to sunglasses to DVDs and viagra! It is a fun area to be in and watch the people walking by from the local street level open air cafes. I will be back again!

This is my 12th trip to manila but my first stay at this hotel. This hotel doesn't have a lot going for it. It's in a horrible location of town unless you are going there solely to go party. The furniture was old and bed uncomfortable. A/c was positioned to blow straight on the bed. The free breakfast isn't worth it. Hot water broken upon first arrival. Maintenance man did arrive and fix the problem. Even on the 20th floor you hear street noise all night long.

enjoyed there breakfast-a few issues with room and wi fi but were addressed quickly and in a very freindly manner

people were friendly. No hot water. Room smelled like smoke and they had no smoke free rooms. Internet connections were terrible. I would not stay here again. Nice view

the air con was leaking when we arrived ... told front desk ,, it was taken care of right away...so no complaints.. everything else ran smoothly. i would refer this hotel in the future...

Hotel is great for location in Makati. Close to all the bars!!! Breakfast was ok but could use a little more selection. I would prefer the new card lock system on the doors versus holding an actual key for the door lock.

Ok, the rooms and corridors deserve to be renovated, and the neighbourood is not the cleanest i have seen. But altogether, the general location is fine, you can walk safely around (7eleven, restaurants, even the PowerPlant Mall, 15 minutes walk), you have always taxi ready in front of the lobby, the staff is correct, and as far as i know, the price is quite reasonable.

Very enjoyable stay! First rate hotel;every comfort. Location is right in middle of "entertainment "district a tad on the sleazy side. Convience stores; Internet cafe;a stroll away. Good taxi service;make sure they employ the meter! David Melbourne AUSTRALIA

Hotel staff is very friendly with great English. Hotel has an open door (no charge) guest policy if you wish to bring a friend to the hotel. The location is in the very heart of the Makati district, so a beer and a bar are just feet away. Rooms are decidedly average, although clean. Bed was a bit lumpy, and the airconditioner blew air directly onto the bed. Breakfast is included, but is little more than fried noodles, cereal, and toast.

I stayed there for 7 nights, and It was a nice stay, i love their breakfast buffet. Their staff are very accommodating, they resolve any issues right away. Very nice people. I would love to stay there again next time I have my vacation.

I have been to the Oxford Suites three times with my friends in Manila and I have never been disappointed. They always treat us with respect. It is not the best choice for families, but why would families be in this neighborhood.

The breakfast is terrible without acceptable choices. The WLAN works but is not FOC.

Excellent accommodations for the price, staff is very friendly and helpful and breakfast continues to be top shelve. Would not suggest area for families, would afford using hotel travel/transportation services very over priced. Overall a very nice and safe stay.

For a 3 star hotel, we received close to 5 star treatment. EVERYONE was very friendly and professional. We only stayed for one night and our flight was leaving at 5am the next morning. They actually allowed us an early check in where we could get our free breakfast that morning instead of the next morning when we would have missed it due to our flight. The SPA treatments were VERY nice and well worth the $. We plan to book here again in the future. It's in a "red light" district part of town just FYI. Again, the service here is second to none.

The staff was very nice and friendly, although some of them have no idea what is around them or how far things are, as I asked a few of them questions and their responses were way off (places were farther by foot or took significantly less time by car or whatever). Also, the room I paid for was a lot smaller than I had expected for the price I paid. That was the most disappointing thing I can say. It was even an upgrade from another room, so I can't even think how small that one must have been. Not sure why it was called an Executive Suite. The breakfast was great, maybe the best thing about the hotel. Buffet with lots of fruits and other choices. Hotel floors were warm and humid. Location was ideal for walking to many restaurants, "adult" bars (if you're into that kinda thing), and stores. Blocks away from the Ayala Center. Again, the staff were nice and friendly, but the size of the room was a really big let down.

This Hotel is an older one which they try to keep up. The Hotel tried to charge me 800 pesos to go back to the airport and I flagged down a taxi outside the Hotel and was charged a meter price of 190 pesos to get there. When I asked for an extra pillow the person who brought it to the room was angry that I requested it and made it very well known that he was upset. I was given a room on the 26th floor which is the top floor and that made me feel uncomfortable given the situtation that just happened in Japan. The neighborhood is filled with security guards carrying heavy weapons (shotguns and large bore pistols) surrounding the Hotel which also gave me a very scary feeling about walking around at night. Will never go to Manila again. Third world setting to the max. Was followed by locals and approached by hundreds of locals trying to play me or sell me something.

Excellent room and service. Great value for money also. Stayed here many times and has been consistently good.

The hotel was a good one and service was good. However, the use of the computer facilities was archaic. One must first go to the desk to buy a user number and password and then go back to the internet office to use the machines there. Once I was told the price to print each page was an additional 60 cents American, I told them to forget it. What a Rip Off!

The room had a moldy smell that indicated not being air conditioned most of the time. The location is a bit seedy being near the red light district. The staff as everywhere in the Philippines was nice though. A bit disappointed that the Wifi cost 980 PHP for one day unlimited, which added a lot to the total cost of the room for us. We liked the A.Venue hotel down the street much better.

Beautiful hotel with a first class staff in a safe yet adventurous area of Manila! If you don't mind having a safe, yet bustling red light-esque neighborhood outside, you can stay in this top rate hotel for a steal. Accomodations of the same calibre elsewhere in Makati City, Manila will cost you much more and you won't be treated as well or with such professional yet personalized service. The charismatic and capable staff really made me feel like I never wanted to leave. I recommend this property without hesitation.

Although the neighbored is not all that good, the hotel is quiet and clean. No problems at a good price.

For the price this hotel was OK. It is not in a good neighborhood and getting a taxi from the hotel was a bit difficult because the cabs are all looking for bigger fares. We had to pay double to get a ride. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and the staff was nice.

This is a very comfortable place to stay and relatively quick access to the airport, a short taxi ride to the Greenbelt and Glorietta & SM malls. Very convenient location. The area is seedy - many gentleman's clubs. So, expect street touts to pitch you viagra. If you can get pas that, the rooms are quite comfortable. Staff is great, helpful. Internet, WiFI or direct is not included but good, but not cheap. Breakfast is good.

Despite the neighborhood and its reputation as a red light district, I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and service especially for the very reasonable rates. I would come back again. The buffet was nice, the internet policy was competitive, the room was a good size, and the staff was very hospitable.

I was very disappointed with the first two rooms that were shown to me,they look somewhat like the ones in the hotel website, but they smelled of smoke and musty, in addition the wallpaper was peeling off. I requested to speak to the manager she was very polite and offered a different room (slight upgrade), This room was more in line with the ones on the website. Once we settled in we (my wife and I) were very happy with the overall service, the staff is top notch and the service is exceptional. The breakfast buffet was very good, beyond our expectations, the bar is friendly and reasonable priced the restaurant and room service is very good. The hotel location is not the best, unless the sole purpose of your trip is to partake of the sex trade. As previously stated the service, excellent staff and price override any negative aspects of the location.

Pros: Location - I am 26 and had a great time in Makati, but if you are on a family vaction I would not recomend this area, it is the heart of the red light district. Service - all staff were polite and satisfied all my needs. Room - Room was in great condition and appeared exactly as the picture showed Cons: Breakfest was terrible. I personally dont like filipino style breakfest and the american food they had was cold and uneatable. There were a few bugs, but I saw that as a product of being in the Philippines and not so much as an indication of hotel cleanliness There are 26 floors and only 3 elevators that are not syncronized to each other, making getting up and down a chore.

The hotel was acceptable and fairly comfortable. The air con blowing right on the bed and the curtains that didn't work were the only problems. The neighborhood, though, is awful. The hotel is at the center of the sex trade, bar district and we found numerous transactions that were taking place in and around the hotel. The hotel staff is polite and helpful, but the underage girls with old men in the breakfast room is a little creepy

마닐라에 자주 출장가는 저로서는 가격대비 괜찮은 호텔로 생각되며 주변에 편의점, 마켓, 사우나, 식당등이 있어 편리 했습니다, 단점은 시내 중심에 있어 약간 시끄럽기는 했지만 그런대로 양호 했습니다. 다음번에도 이용하려고 합니다.
