I was very impressed with this hotel. The service was great and the room was very nice. The spa was the best I have been to outside of Las Vegas

Excellent accommodations, a very attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. The room was very nice. Easy access to the Riverwalk. Hotel restaurant and bar was very nice. Surrounding area was pretty crowded because of Fiesta week, but we will definetely return the next time we are in San Antonio.

The hotel staff were very responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and beverage services as much as we did the River Walk restaurant. This is definitely a location that makes you feel pampered and relaxed.

Wonderful hotel. It would be hard to beat this place, not just in San Antonio, but anywhere. Top notch all the way around. We had a room with a private balcony (from my understanding this is the only hotel with this feature, one other has shared balconies) and it was amazing. I could go on and on, but frankly if you get the chance to stay here, STAY HERE! My only complaint would be the $35 parking fee, seems a little excessive.

This was the last hotel that I stayed at on my week vacation, so I only got one night. It was the best service I have ever received. As soon as I got there they took my bags and showed me where everything was. The room was beautiful. They even sent up free champagne and strawberries. This is the kind of hotel I had been looking for my entire trip, because I had paid the expensive prices. (because I wanted luxury on my vacation) Lots of hotels charge these prices and are no better than the best western, however the Mokara is definitely worth the money, and I will be back.

We had a wonderful three day stay for our anniversary. The staff was very polite and accommodating, but the concierge Petra went the extra mile. She had great suggestions, helped us manage our time, and made us feel like we were old friends. The restaurant and spa were both excellent, and the view can't be beat!

very nice hotel/spa. guests treated very well. probably more expensive than other hotels on the riverwalk, but you definitely get the service with the price.

We have stayed at this hotel before, when it was known as The Watermark, and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and beautiful location on the Riverwalk. This time, however, we decided to splurge on the Spa, and really had a blast being pampered from head to toe. But first, a word on the overall service at Mokara. Every employee, and I mean EVERY EMPLOYEE, is courteous and eager to help. You really feel like royalty here. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet -- for the most part. Because we have always requested a river view room, there is some noise from the Riverwalk below, but nothing that would disturb one's sleep. And we were in San Antonio over the MLK Jr. holiday weekend, where the largest march and celebration in the US take place -- at midnight, the cheers and revelry began and it was actually quite wonderful, rather than disturbing! Room service food is excellent, service is fast and friendly, parking valets are courteous and friendly -- we were very happy with everything. Please note, though, that there are many extra fees, although the wifi is free. Anyone who doesn't enjoy staying at Mokara can probably not be pleased anywhere!!!

Hotel was beautiful, staff was amazing and the OSTRA is the BEST PLACE in SAN ANTONIO for dining. Couples spa massage was also a great treat:)

Hotel stay was excellent in all aspects. Really enjoyed the spa. Thought the valet parking was too high.

Comfortable beds and spacious room, large bathroom and separate shower, staff were courteous and helpful, concierge made some good recommendations, generally the vibe was very relaxed and quiet. Negatives were the view of car park from our room, we were promised a city or river walk view on the booking confrmation.Issues with the wifi connections which were intermittent and slow, frustrating but we were only there for 2 nights. Inadequate for anyone staying on business and needing to work.

The hotel is nice. Dont have a room that backs up to the elevatoror you will be awake all night.

We loved our stay , however the location of our room on the confirmation stated we would have a city or river view! What a joke. We were looking at a inside interior wall, horrible environment.

I travel globally on business and stay in a variety of hotels. The Mokara is among the best in terms of the combination of its appointments, courteous and very helpful & friendly staff, wonderful restaurant, and restful spa. I did not have a need to use its business center but suspect it too would be similarly efficient.

Had a great 3 night stay. Staff were very helpful and engaging. This is a very different experience from the larger upscale hotel chains. You will get lots of personal attention like making sure we had chilled bottled water in our car at checkout. Highly recommended!

Perfect location and perfect, attentive service. Fresh fruit placed in the room for an evening snack, and turn down service complete with slippers, silk eye covers and freshening mist on the pillows. The gorgeous spa was an added bonus.

We will definitely be returning to the Mokara in the future!

Best hotel in San Antonio. Beautiful rooms, beautiful public areas, friendly and professional staff, hotel restaurant is excellent. Cannot recommend his hotel highly enough.

Loved staying here and taking advantage of the spa facilities! It's pricey, but nice for a rare treat. Also, loved being next to the Riverwalk, and the hotel's restaurant Ostra was excellent!

Excellent hotel, but area of the pool needs more shaded space

For us, the only thing we would have wanted differently is a more firm mattress. The bed was too soft. Other than that, we LOVED staying there!

Staying at Mokara Hotel and Spa was rejuvenating and peaceful! Beautiful!

Great hotel for business travel: convenient, superb service, good price, very comfortable.

It was excellent for the cost. Everything was nice. The only downside I saw was trying to find it. It blends with the other buildings along the riverwalk. Once inside, everything is beautiful.

Lovely hotel with all the ammenities business travellers enjoy and have come to expect..very nice.

Before coming to the hotel I asked to have a bouquet of flowers ready for me. Phillip, the concierge, not only ordered a beautiful bouquet exactly the way I wanted but had complimentary chilled champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries waiting. The hotel was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The Jacuzzi baths are big enough for two and all the lights in the room have dimmers for a romantic atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Very nice hotel and staff. Came down with some awful stomach ailment with fever and chills during my honeymoon. The staff were kind enough to go to the pharmacy and buy some medicine when they opened at 7:00 am. They also provided a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered cherries as well as upgraded us to a river view.Thank you Mokara.

The hotel is beautiful. It has a real luxury level quality to it. The service is great. All staff were careful to go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The rooms were lovely and large. The bathroom was nicer than a normal luxury hotel room bathroom with great amenities. The location is great, right on the Riverwalk, but this can mean loud music until late if you are on that side. I also had a dog in the room next door barking late at night and early in the morning. I did tell the hotel and they were very apologetic, but it was frustrating nonetheless. Overall I would stay here again if I was in town. Probably one of the best hotels in San Antonio.

Perfect - exactly what I wanted. We have stayed in some very nice hotels and this one is among our favorites. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating - can't wait to return. Also the spa amenities come with the room i.e. jacuzzi, dry sauna, relaxation room, etc.

Beautiful hotel, great location, excellent staff.

Great service, very comfortable room and the bathrooms are beautiful with a big jacuzzi tub. Very conveniently located, right on the edge of all the action of the riverwalk, but not too noisy.
