Basic room as expected. No "amenities" Very quiet (rooms had double doors) Excellent breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. Location(very near main train station) very convenient to all transportation making it easy to visit all must-see sights in and near Munich. Also conveniently near tourist information offices at and in train station. Immediate surrounding neighborhood what one would expect near train station-busy not pretty. Walking distance all major museums. Would definitely return.

My comfortable room was not overlooking the street so noise. A generous breakfast is offered with made to order eggs. Very close to main railway station so super convenient to transportation system. Just two blocks from the tourist area so great for sightseeing.

The Haberstock had very cheerful staff at reception and the breakfast room, all of whom were very timely in helping with various questions. The building itself is located ideally, just a block away from the Train Station and 5 minutes from the City Center. The room was simple, but comfortable. Unattached parties might find the shower slightly odd, as it has a frosted glass window on the side facing the beds. Showering silhouettes are easily visible from the main bedroom area. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Hotel to others visiting Munich.

A group of us wanted a central location to go on the daily ski train from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The hotel was very central and located right next to the main railway station and underground. Breakfast was good and unhurried. We had rooms at the top and there was a little bit of noise in the night on the Saturday, but that's what you get when you stay in the centre of the city! We all would stay there again.

This is a very acceptable hotel with instant access to the central railway station, metro, etc. The surrounding neighborhood has some 'red light' elements, but the entrance to all public transportation is steps from the door. The breakfast (included) was also very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Only one drawback: wifi is available only in the lobby area, not in the rooms. In the room you can connect only by LAN cable, which the hotel provides, but which does you no good if you're using an iPad as I was. But I was able to catch up on my email in the breakfast room adjacent to the main desk via wifi.

The hotel staff spoke English very well and was helpful. We had a misunderstanding about how many people were staying in our room and they were great to work with. The hotel needed a little work; the elevator is tiny and fit 2 people and luggage. Also, the windows are not sound proof so better bring your earplugs!

The street is in a shables, but the hotel is acceptable. Old, and can improve on maintenance. The bed and matress are good and feel nice. The wireless works well in the lobby. In teh room there is no wifi reception, and the cable they give you is useless. Most reception people were pleasant and helpfull. They brag with the buffet, which is really nice, but the lady in charge of it is users' hostile. The bathroom is small and not well evntilated. Be sure to leave the window slightly open when leaving the room, so the air will be less smelly when you return.

The hotel and staff were great. But, the hotel is located on a street that is full of Gentlemen's clubs and some rift raft, Some beggars will approach you for a block or two, but then, it becomes the main tourist area, and things are fine. Never felt that I was in danger, but I would keep aware of my surroundings. Free WiFi is only in the lobby, which can be a negative for some people.

Very basic hotel which is expected at the price. Friendly staff and very well located to central Munich. Not a bad place to stay if you like it very basic.

The hotel is fine and breakfast is a nice touch. I would recommend it. Just beware if it's hot. There didn't seem to be any AC and the street below is a bit noisy even late into the evening. Wasn't a problem for me, but if you're sensitive, it could be.

Wonderful and always helpful people at the reception. I guess weekend nights are noisy but the location makes it as an ideal place to stay and see Munich.

We had a very pleasant stay. The service was very good and the staff friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located next to the station but at the same time the area seems a bit rough at night.

good location, not for to walk into town, filling breakfast

The hotel was convenient to everything. The only draw back was the street side room. Very noise especially since I had to keep the windows open and the bar across the street stayed open until at least 3:00 AM. The staff was exceptional, very friendly and attentive. This over came the noise by far.

Great Staff, Great Breakfast, Great Location. The only draw back is the noise at night from the street. There is a sports bar right across from the hotel, and if soccer games are on the noise level is loud until closing time. Ask for a room not facing the street ad this should take care of it.

Wonderful little hotel around the corner from the train station. Friendly staff and great breakfast. The one negative: if you are on the lower floors 1 or 2 in a street side room the noise can be bothersome. The hotel is located across the street from a cafe (not bar) that stays open late. The night we stayed was the first really warm spring night of the season so I believe the locals were enjoying sitting outside the cafe until all hours. Unfortunately for all a fight broke out at 2 am waking us up. NOT the fault of the hotel. Just ask for a room higher up on in the back. I will be staying there again!!

Helpful staff, understood and spoke English well. Great location near the Marienplatz. Breakfast is great!

I booked this hotel as a solo traveler in Munich for a handful of nights. The location was prime being just blocks from the main train station and easily walkable to Marienplatz, "Old Town," and all the sites within it. It's close location to the main train station makes day trips to outlying sites extremely easy. The hotel was very standard - nothing fancy, but does the job for a place to sleep, shower and keep your bag. It's not one to spend much time in. It is across the street from a strip club, but I did not find this to downgrade the quality. It did make it a bit noisy at night, and if you had to open the window and sleep light, you may have a problem if you face the street. Overall, it is a convenient hotel with a good buffet breakfast, nice staff and clean.

Only few steps from the U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Walking distance to Karls Platz and Mariene Platz. Good location!

Great breakfast spread, clean room, right across from the train station, but not great value for money -- these things could all have been a lot better considering the price.

The room was a little shabby but the bathroom was big and new. Some noise from the street at night, and only wi-fi at the bottom floor. Internet by cable on the higher floors. Very very friendly people working there and good breakfast.

I like this hotel pretty much, nice breakfast, clean and very convenient, even the room is a little bit small, but I will choose it next time......

My son and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has an excellent location next to the main station. The room was clean the staff friendly and the breakfasts excellent. Highly recommended.

This hotel is closed to U Bahn. But, you need to walk to S Bahn station to reach city center. As an alternative, you can walk to the center for 15~20 minutes. In front of this hotel, there is an adult bar. So, it is not recommendable to stay here with family, especially with kids. Hotel restaurant is good and wide. But, the room is not clean, sometimes there is terrible smell in the room. The price is very high considering overall aspects.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The room was small but adequate and clean. My biggest complaint is the neighborhood after dark. I didn't feel safe leaving the hotel because of the businesses nearby and some of the people walking around. During the day it was convenient to walk to the center of town and a playground in a nearby park.

The location was great, the staff were really wonderful,and the breakfast buffet ,I can not say enough. This is definitly an European hotel. Room was "COZY" but who cares, was not there much. Too much to do around us.

I stayed here for two nights and glad not anymore - I didn't manage to get more than two hours sleep during my stay due to all the banging and crashing through out the night from deliveries. I was at the back of the hotel on the first floor so not sure if that makes a difference. Internet cable didn't plug in very well and kept losing connection. Very convenient for the train station - however the neighbourhood wasn't very nice. Thankfully the hotel was right on the end of the street and so you don't have to go down it. It's a right enough hotel - I had asked for a double bed and got two twins pushed together which I didn't like, and was shocked to see the duvet folded up on the bed and not made properly. Did like the cheap minibar in the room though.

Staying at the Hotelissimo Haberstock was a great experience. The staff was very helpful and always seemed happy to be there. The full breakfast was a great start to the day. Convenient location near the Hauptbanhof station.

This hotel was near the train station so it was very convenient. The staff was very helpful. There was no air conditionning and the day we arrived it was 95 degrees. After that it cooled off and the room was comfortable.

Located next to the munich main train station,the hotel is surrounded by seedy establishments playing loud music into the small hours. Very hard to find parking around the hotel,and the hotel doesnt have its own parking. The room was small and looked worn threadbare. Instead of the double bed ordered,two single beds Shower and bathroom looked pretty dirty and worn NO AC NO WiFi in rooms. Breakfast OK Wouldnt recommend it unless they offer a killer price

The pillows were AWFUL! The room was very warm and we had to ask for a fan. The pictures on the site were a bit deceiving. Our room was on the 6h floor and had wooden beams protruding into it. The room was basically cut in half by these beams. I had to duck under them each time I wanted to move around the room. Breakfast was good and the bathroom was very clean. There is a strip club the street but it is not an issue.

Hotel is good location and good looking. However, bed king side is not one matress. It's to single bed, which is not so comfortable. During summer it hot inside the room. And house keeping did not clean bed well. But bath room cleanliness is perfect.

-Hotel staff is very friendly -Room is small but adequate if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in it. -Bed was comfortable -There was a window -Breakfast was great: Yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, fruit salad, danish pastrys, milk, juice, breads, vegetables, meats, cheese. -15 sec walk to the stairs of the train station In the middle of the city Two drawbacks: -No air conditioner in the room, had to request a fan -The staff keeps the key when you leave and gives it back when you return...I think they only have 1 copy and don't want you to lose it. Great hotel to stay at if you don't mind noise of the city. With the window closed, I could barely here people outside. There is a sports bar across the street that would sometimes get loud but again, with the window closed it wasn't so bad.

Its was raining and we walked only one short block to the hotel entrance........

The Hotel is an old place nicely renovated and very well located for moving around in Munich, as it is across the Central Train Station, and walking distance from main turistic spots. The attention was very kind, and could notice they manage different languages. Is a good place, convenient for short stays.
