Best hotel in whistler... in western Canada

The hotel was gorgeous, the service impeccable and the location perfect. Our standard room with 2 double beds had a beautiful walk in closet, a fireplace and couch and a huge, beautiful bathroom. It was not 'standard' by any means. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a family trip or a girls' weekend.

The upgraded rooms were absolutely fantastic and made for a brilliant stay. Nothing could be faulted.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. The service is beyond incredible. The ski concierge is such a great service and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Little attentions such as hot chocolate and warm cookies after a long day of skiing, free s'mores by the fire, delicious brownies served pool/hot tub side. Everything was amazing! We cannot rave enough about the Four Seasons Whistler!

Not sure about some of the extra charges... Like when we used the valet parking the charged us twice at $35 a time and all they did was park the car the day we arrived and bring it back at the end of our stay. There were a few discrepancy's like this we didn't catch till we got home and looked over the bill

Average comparable to other hotels. Below avg for Four Seasons. The ski concierge was a nice service. The rooms were nice, but not on level that would be expected of the Four Seasons if you have stayed at another. They were maintained well - GREAT closet! The lobby concierge was disgruntled with guests on multiple days. Lobby guests could easily overhear conversations. Blackcomb Village is really not a village. There were 2 bars that close shop around 6:00ish. The Four Seasons is toward the back of it. The evening entertainment is exclusively in Whistler Village unless you are going to dine and drink within the hotel.

Ethan Allen level interiors and clean. Very clean. Lots of storage for winter clothing both wet and dry. Fireplace...dogs loved that. In-room pet service spent three hours with the two dachshunds on walks...they were tired from all the playing after the rest of us came back from a day of skiing. Take the opportunity for world class ski-school for three days. Two days at least...three days preferred. Hotel concierge is the key phrase. They will set up the rentals and the ski school...all you have to do is purchase your lift tickets...military discount on lift tickets of 30%....10% for the rental gear. The hotel was world class....as good as the best luxury hotels in San Diego, Dubai, New York, and all the other places I have stayed around the world. You will have an amazing experience from beginning to end. Walking distance is 15 minutes to the village and romantic the whole way.

I would definitely recommend the Four Seasons if you're visiting Whistler. It has actually improved in the last couple of years and, although expensive, you feel like it is worth the money.

We booked on hotels.com at 8am. We arrived at the hotel at noon. We had to wait 10 minutes to check in because the hotel didn't have the reservation yet. They upgraded our room due to our very short wait. We ordered room service 6 times. Everything was delicious. Great service. Great facilities. I'll definitely stay again.

Four Seasons in Whistler was a perfect place for a relaxing chill-out getaway - a warm and inviting room, fireplace, lots of space, nice bathroom, friendly well-trained staff, great gym and pools, free wine & cheese tasting... Excellent. Note the free WiFi is not free if you have more than one device.

Excellent service and very nice rooms. My only complaint would be the room service food. Very average at best. Plate of nacho's came cold to the point the cheese was hard. Pizza came the same way. Real main courses in the restaurant were fine.

The Four Seasons is truly a brilliant hotel in Whistler. The rooms are superb, the location is ideal and the staff are attentive and polished. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and can confirm that this is the place to stay in Whistler if you have pets. They were exceptionally accommodating of our dog and we sincerely appreciate that. Just be aware that Whistler is expensive and there are many additional expenses (such as parking: $33CAD per night at the Four Seasons) that should be accounted for.

The best weekend my boyfriend and I have ever had... Everything we needed was taken care of and we absolutely loved our stay.

Hands down one of my favourite places to stay in Whistler. Great services and ammenities.

The best amenities ever.

We were really impressed! My husband stays in hotels all over the world and he says that your hotel is first class! The staff was very professional, very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and nicely done. The food was excellent! Your hotel is a pleasantly welcoming place to stay and we hope to be back someday!

Four Seasons was beautiful! And every staff member was pleasant and professional. I am always happy to see that hotels are giving guests an option to NOT have fresh linens every time, but although I put out all the right signals, I still got fresh towels each day. Sometimes twice a day! So, A for effort in communicating your "green" intentions, but C- on follow-through. Would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Everything about our stay was great. The outdoor patio was especially enjoyable for having an evening cocktail and a morning coffee.

it was wonderful

I recently stayed at the 4 Seasons and it was the best hotel experience I have had in a long time. ALL staff was so welcoming and kind and helpful and knowledgeable. I brought my dog Lucy up there and she not only stayed for free, but they provided her with a dog bed, bowld, bottled water, and organic dog treats. It was amazing. At the last minute, a friend came to stay as well and she needed a cot, which was actually a full on pillow top single bed. Everything was so perfect here.

Loved it!! The Four Seasons Whistler is Amazing on all levels!! They treat you and your pet like Royalty!! A five star rating for sure!!!

Luxurious but not over the top. Tasteful. Flawless service. A lot of attention to detail. What a great stay!

This is not a Four Seasons quality hotel. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the slopes. It does not make up for this inconvenience with an amazing ambiance. The only restaurant/bar is in the basement of the hotel... no lovely lobby bar with views of the mountain and a roaring fire. To get all of this, stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. This hotel has the lovely lobby, views, and convenient access. We spent as much of our time on vacation posing as Fairmont guests...

While the sign says FourSeasons, the soul of the hotel is 100% Marriott. Bad location--10 minutes walk to the resort, or ride the bus--sorry, but I don't stay at a FourSeason to commute on some crappy bus to the resort. The location is really terrible. Bad food--I've never had an $20 yellow-lettuce cesar salad...think Applebee's Not family friendly--do not bring your children here. It's such a huge hike or drive to any activity. And, there is nothing close for kids to enjoy. No place to play in the snow, pull a sled, ski, ice stake, etc. Hike, drive, get in a crappy bus. Low end. There's a pool, but every hotel in Whistler has a pool. Little Ambiance--every FourSeason's I've ever stayed at has a gracious lobby bar--not here. Go to the basement for a cramped, noisey, sports-type bar. No views/outlook. Our room was very expensive, yet overlooked at a parking garage and had another hotel looking down on us. We could be in Fargo, North Dakota and a Courtyard Marriott--not amazing British Columbia. The FourSeason brand for me has always meant, "you're going to have a nice time". The FourSeasons Whistler "broke" the brand for us. We know have to think twice before thinking, "it's a FourSeasons, it's going to be good". Now, we have to think...it could be pretty average Simply put--avoid this hotel, NOT WORTH IT.

Really impressed with the ski concierge. The crew were all very helpful. It made the whole process much more easy for us. Especially when we didn't know our ski boot size, they got an expert to help us on the fitting. The shuttle service was excellent. They had a pretty frequent shuttle bus to the village and various ski spots. They also provided courtesy car service when we went to the sleigh ride. We also like the heated outdoor pool. It was a great way to end a day of skiing by relaxing at the pool and the hot tub. The hotel also offered a complimentary wine and cheese tasting at Fifty Two 80 Bistro at the lower level. Not sure if it is only offered during the Christmas time. But the overall service made Four Seasons deserve as a Five Star hotel.

Good service, good environment. Furnitures need update. Not really in walking distance to the village. Free valet parking is great. Other places located in the village charge for parking. Heard dog barking in the suite. Not sure if it's pet friendly. House keeping was done when we were out for dinner. Not sure if it's standard. Thought it would be in the morning.

Thankyou for a wonderful weekend as John and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. We had dinner at your Sidecut Restaurant and enjoyed every moment there. When we returned to our room later that night the hotel staff had place a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in a silver ice bucket and a dish of scrumpteous strawberries with sauce sidedishes on our night table. What a lovely treat. Thankyou so much for making us feel special. Saturday afternoon we went on the Eagle Ziptrek with Simon and Daniella as our guides. What a massive amount of fun that was! We were the oldest people in our group and the most daring, trying everything our guides suggested. Sunday morning we went on the Peak 2 Peak gondola. That was awesome as well. We saw a black bear on our trip back down to the village. We would definitely like to visit Whistler again.

This hotel is surperb, we stayed for 2 nights in September and the minute we went to check in we were treated like royalty. we got upgraded to a bigger room and it was fantastic, we really couldnt have asked for more for our stay there. the food was lovely and the pool hot tub area very nice and well thougt out, the changing rooms had everything you could possibly think of avaialable for use.

best hotel ever. never had such an amazing stay, have traveled the world but experience here was the best. Love the hot tub and pool spa experience.The staff was great and the location was perfect for a nice getaway we loved it and will be back

My husband and I went to the four Seasons to celebrate our weeding anniversary and the staff made our stay very memorable. We were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolate, fudge and strawberries. The heathed pool and jacuzzi was a plus. We really had an amazing . Highly recommended

Favorite hotel in Whistler. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are large, clean and quiet. The beds were so comfortable. A great relaxing get away.

We had a very nice stay.

We visited the four seasons in Whistler last week-end with my 89 year old mother. The staff was very considerate, friendly and very attentive to details that made a difference for my mother. It was also lovely to see so many young families. The whole place was very cheerful.

This location is only a Four Seasons in name with it's gracious rooms. What's lacking is the service! Check in was bungled so double the paper work, bags not delivered to room until 45 minutes after checking in and a pool concierge that could not keep up. The lounge and restaurant were much better, at least the food was great.
