my hotel stay was beautiful I love the hotel and staff I will the stay at this hotel again the hotel location if perfect I stayed at this hotel 2 times so far its a great hotel

My stay was very nice. People at the front desk was incredibly helpful and very very kind. They paid very close attention to details so I'd be well informed and comfortable.

Nice, clean and quiet!

This is a decent hotel to say when on the go in Santo Domingo. Free WiFi , friendly and courteous staff. You can connect your laptop directly if you need faster connection and for tablet use and wifi , I recommend that one request. Room on even numbers the traffic around the hotel is horrendous

Perfect

We had an exceptionally nice time at the Marriott this weekend. I decided that instead of a party at home, we would crank it up a notch and have a surprise hotel sleepover (as in Eloise style). We asked for adjoining double rooms for constant supervision of girls attending throughout the evening. At check in, two double adjoining rooms were not available, but staff immediately offered a roll-away bed. As we had a party of many 9 year old girls, and it seems that we were very wisely placed in an area of the hotel that was separated from other guests so as not to disturb. We were able to make use of the pool for exciting "night swimming" and had pizza delivered to the hotel. For extra security precautions, a hotel staff member even escorted the Pizza delivery guy upstairs to our room. The next morning, as one would expect from the morning after the sleepover, we had extra coffee delivered to the room free of charge for the 3 adult chaperones, and extra towels so the girls could shower. The hotel staff and reception were incomparably amiable and helpful and we had a fabulous time!!! We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel experience!

Nice hotel, nice room, limited food menu but food was good. Finally a hotel that stays somewhat with the times - iPod/iphone adaptable clock radio. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel appears to be nice and clean as you enter. The pool was dirty and low in chlorine. The room was kept clean and neat, but the staff failed to replenish glassware, washcloths, and towels regularly. We found that some of the staff were not hospitable even when spoken to in Spanish. There is a large gap in training of the front desk personnel and they are not efficiently trained. There are better hotels in the area that were recommended by the local people.

From now on, this will be our Hotel of reference in Santo Domingo. Just one example: we asked the concierge for a toothbrush on the phone, we received 2 with toothpaste after just 3 mins.

Deck staff very good. Met manager who was more than helpful. Cleaning lady did a very good job.Others of staff were just fine. I have been coming to the DR for many years, stayed at most main line hotels. The court yard is in my top choices and usually my first call for reservation.

We loved our short stay there. Everyone treated us in a very polite and professional manner. The hotel was clean and neat and decorated beautifully. It was very clean and helped us with all our needs. We would stay there again.

We stayed only one night here. We had a long drive from Las Terrenas and it was great to arrive in the air conditioned, clean and comfortable rooms. Check in was easy and fast, and it was wonderful that all of the staff spoke English (since my Spanish skills are sadly so pathetic). It was also wonderful to be a able to do a load of laundry (just bring your own soap) and also spend some time on the treadmill in the exercise room. The only thing that would have been better if it was in walking distance to the Colonial Zone - but that's minor, and we took a taxi (about 5-10 min drive) to be able to see the historical sites. There is also a lot of fast food places near by if you want to save a little money on food. Pool is small, but clean and nice I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend. thanks Marriott.

I have stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott a coiple times before. Each visit has been a wonderful exprience. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and go out of there way to help in every way I rate it a 5 Star ******

Had a wonderful stay, this was the second time i stayed at the courtyard by marriott. Both stays were relaxing and the hotel is very customer friendly the staff go out of there way to be helpful. I would recommend to all my friends

The Marriott is a lovely hotel the staff were very helpful the location was downtown close to where we needed to be. The only thing would have been better if there was a larger selection at resturant ohtherwise a full 4 star hotel

The Courtyard hotel in Santo Domingo was in a good location for my needs. The staff was particularly helpful and pleasant to work with. I have two suggestions. First, we were there in November and the weather was beautiful, so we had the window open all the time. It would have helped had we had a screen on the window, since there were a few insects that flew in. Second, the water was usually just a little too cold for comfort, when taking a bath. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

super staff ,good food,ok location

This hotel was great but wish it was a more recognizable location and had some pamphlets or info of things to do nearby. You'll probably need a personal driver and car or just pay a lot to taxi drivers to take you everywhere. The hotel was clean with a nice pool area and a clean good working gym. Also had convenient laundry room if u need to wash any clothing for a long stay. Balcony was nice but definitely no view of anything aesthetic. This is a great hotel if u need to be downtown for something specific or if u know your way around to see the local or tourist spots.

Very nice hotel, with friendly and accommodating staff, good pillows and sheets. Breakfast was nice with choice of fruits and good coffee. I will definitely stay again in this hotel. Very close to American Embassy. I would give this hotel 4 stars.

I was so impressed with the staff and service at this hotel. The location is fantastic, not far to the boardwalk and airport, the American Embassy is close by as well as the Colonial Zone. The staff was superb. I had in room dining and the food was excellent. There had a few vegetarian options which I was grateful for. A tip to future travelers there, have the staff call Apollo Taxi to take you to the airport and save $20 on the ride. Room was clean and the internet service was perfect. Also, had free washroom for clothing and a dryer which was great for me after spending 7 days on the beach. I had no clean clothes. I will definitely stay there again. Really great hotel.

L´Hotel était très propre, calme, le service excellent, la nourriture correcte. Le wifi marche correctement et l´ établissement dispose de tout ce qu´il faut pour travailler (imprimantes, ordinateurs) si besoin. Situé a une vingtaine de minutes de l´ aéroport c´est un endroit idéal pour une étape business de quelques jours.

I came just for one night, arriving late and leaving very early. If I would have come for a tourist trip I may have selected something else, a bit closer to attractions. But I think it's a good hotel for this price, which has some good restaurants nearby.

Las habitaciones las mantienen en muy buen estado. No huelen a humedad, los baños muy decentes. El unico inconveniente que tuve fue que cuando llegué no encontraron mi reservacion de hotels.com y duré aproximadamente 30 minutos en el lobby esperando a que se resolviera el problema. Los desayunos estan mooortales, muy buenos. Definitivamente me quedaria en este hotel nuevamente. El staff siempre dispuesto.

todo muy bien, el desajuno excellente, servico excellente, el unico que la area de la pisina es muy pequeno. Pero seguro vamos a regreasar a este hotel, precio super bien.

MUY BUENA

hôtel pour séjour professionnel plutôt que pour séjour familial, bien tenu mais disposant d'une petite piscine et de peu d'espaces pour les enfants
