Very nice hotel to stay in for going to the cruise port very clean

The convenience and shuttle services provided were very easy to navigate and very well organized. The hotel itself was very clean form the the moment we walked in the door to our room, the grounds, and lounge area. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful (I think we were checked-in in under 60 seconds) and we were on our way to the beach! If cruising again we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Nice hotel...good location...walk to Bass Pro Shop. Free shuttle to airport.

The Courtyard is a nice hotel with van service to the Cruise Port Everglades. It's also within walking distance to the Fishing Hall of Fame and Bass Pro shop. The room was clean but rather plain, front desk service was excellent and they do a pretty good job of getting everyone to the cruise port. The lobby was packed with people waiting to head to the Cruise port, so there was a lot of waiting, but they did get everyone onboard and delivered! The lobby breakfast is nice but there was a line of people throughout the morning and eating space was limited. All in all, a great place for a one night stay prior to cruising. They also had a shuttle that picked us up at the airport.

Lovely hotel with a Bistro cafe, snack section, business center, flat screen TV, aquarium. So impressed. Love it.

THE MATTRESS WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. THERE IS ALSO A TRAIN STATION CLOSE BY SO IT WOKE US UP DURING THE NIGHT AND EARLY MORNING. NOT WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF DOWNTOWN FORT LAUDERDALE

Convenient location as far as proximity to the airport. Bad location when it comes to dealing with a train that seems to come by and rattle the room with its horn every few hours. If you've got earplugs, it's a good place to stay.

I was attending a wedding at the museum, so the location was perfect. But, everything about the hotel matched the location!

We loved the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. Beautiful Hotel. Easy access to Miami Dolphin's staduim.

Good hotel, just not really for business. To many kids running around and people on vacation.

Staff was great and very accomadating, loved the whole stay! Plus seeing cute little geckos crawl all over the outside was definitely a plus when in a outside smoking area since the whole building is non smoking, which is a bit of a non plus. The windows dont open all the way either. But overall loved my stay, good food in the cafe.

Nice rooms.. would stay there again. They have a bar in the lobby.. Should be open later than 10:00.

Difficult to find, messed upo ur breakfast for the two of us, so we had to go out for it on our own. Was hoping for convenience to airport, but wouldn't stay there again.

Curtious staffing is synonymous with Courtyard By Marriott. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The only 2 helpful suggestions would be to gain control of the mosquitos at the pool area, and develop a certificate system to eliminate being charged for breakfast (when giving your room number) when you have paid for the breakfast package with your reservation. Very close to the Hard Rock and next door to the largest "Outdoor Living Store" I've ever seen.

The Courtyard Marriot was wonderful. The accommodations were excellent. The food was great. The young ladies behind the counter made us feel at home at all times.I cant wait to go back.

Stayed overnight prior to leaving on a cruise. Clean, convenient location, friendly service, and a ship-dedicated shuttle to the cruise port. Will stay again.

We loved this hotel! Great for Airport but woukd stay there for any reason! Clean, comfortable and handy to freeway, fishing Hall of Fame and only 15 minutes to beach.

Excellent hotel if you are going or coming from cuise ship. Room was excellent. Restaurant at Bass Pro Shop (next to motel) was great for dinner. Hotel was good for breakfast and lunch. Like business center.

We were bitten by bed bugs. Not something you would expect in this caliber of a hotel. The A/C was a joke & the staff knew about it-they told me to turn it way down-which only helped slightly. We stayed here because they offered a shuttle to our cruise ship. Shuttle service was fine but everything else sucked!

I thought the hotel was very clean, and beautifully made. We had nice comfortable beds a nice hi def tv, wireless internet access cable and access to the pool. I thought the breakfast we had was great and we had an overall great stay.

This hotel was in a terrible location and had nothing to do or see besides bass pro shop. They told me that transportation from the cruise port and airport were included but it is only to the airport and cruiseport. Transportation is NOT included when you are traveling from the cruise port or airport. Chaotic morning of boarding the shuttles. Over priced and Overall a negative experience.

It is a new hotel the location is somewhat great but that is if you like the beautiful sounds of Buses, cars, trains and airplanes throughout the night. I couldn't get 1 good night of sleep at all. Overall, the customer service was satisfactory and the girls at the bar/ eating area were friendly. They were very accommodating. The problem was some of the foods listed on the menu weren't available multiple times.

Even after we found out that the lobby was being remodeled, we could find no vending machines, no water or drinks, The staff didn't help at all until finally telling us that there was water behind the checkin counter. We were not told that breakfast was not free - it was way too expensive for what we received. Our shuttle time was changed and only one person in our party was notified. Then the shuttle came early and again only one party was notified. The staff were not friendly at all. Will not stay here again.

The hotel advertised "on-site restaraunt", leading one to believe they would have service for all meals. They had breakfast service only. They did have a counter behind check-in desk with sandwiches, drinks, chips, etc. Other nearby restarants were a lengthy walking distance - not convenient for elderly or those with ambulatory probs.

We enjoyed the Courtyard Mariott Fort Lauderdale. The airport shuttle came wihtout a long wait. They also offered a shuttle to the pier. The desk staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable, as well as the duvet and the pillows. There is an Outdoor World just across the parking lot and a Islamorada Fish House that is a good restaurant.

There was no restaurant in the hotel except for breakfast. We had taken a airport shuttle and had no car, so we found this very inconvenient. Thank goodness the neighboring Bass Pro Shop had a restaurant.

We only stayed one night, prior to embarking on a cruise, but it was exactly what we needed. Free shuttle from the airport and to the cruise port was very convenient; well-organized considering the chaos of getting hundreds of cruise passengers to their respective embarkation points. Only complaint is that hotel elevators are very slow, and they really bog down in the morning when hundreds of people are all trying to get downstairs with their luggate at the same time.

Disappointed that the Bass Pro Shop was the only store in the immediate area, the restaurant was a little pricey, and the hotel did not offer complementary breakfast.

Very clean, modern rooms. Nice lounge. You can order local food till 2 am. Good location if you have a car. Staff was very friendly and helpful, would stay again.

We were only in the hotel one night - most other guests were embarking on a cruise. Everything was as expected.

This was the first time I had stayed at a "Courtyard" Marriott. It was clean, modern and well maintained. The shuttle service was excellant. It was disappointing that there was not a restaurant onsite, except for the breakfast buffet, which is why I wouldn't suggest an extended stay unless you have your own transportation.

For the price we paid, the hotel was great. Location was close to airport as well as the port. The shuttle service was excellent, picked us up from airport, then took us to Port Everglade. Convenience is key! We checked in pretty late in the evening and most of the restaurants were closed; however, the front desk provided take-out menus to order and we ate in the hotel restaurant/lobby area. Overall stay was great! We'd stay here again.

I was very pleased by the Marriott Courtyard. Lovely rooms and furnishings. Very nice hotel and surroudings. In addition, there is a great retail store (Bass Outdoor) that is less than a half block away with a restaurant that specializes in seafood but has many other entrees to chose from. The breakfast at the Marriott Courtyard was very good with a full complement of hot and cold entrees and items to choose from. I refrained from stuffing myself only because I was headed to a cruise where I would exhibit no restraint. There was a slight mixup concerning my breakfast. The waitress charged me for it but I explained to the hotel front desk that it was part of my hotels.com package. The hotel immediately deleted the charge. Lastly, there is free shuttle service to the cruise pier. Whenever, I do my yearly cruises out of Ft Lauderdale, the Marriott COurtyard will be my hotel of choice. I would be remissed if I did not thank all of the hotels.com reviewers. I made my choice only after careful review of the comments provided by other guests to the Ft. Lauderdale hotels.

Very nice accommodations; plenty of room and quality finishing touches. Great restaurant in walking distance.
