The only good thing about this hotel is the location. This is an "airport hotel" in every sense of the word. The location is literally across the street from the terminal. The shower/tub makes taking a shower very difficult and dangerous as the same time. If you are not sure footed it is a good shower/tub to break your neck in. I had a 7:30am flight and this hotel was the best option for the area and the flight time. If you do not have unrealistic expectations you will not be disappointed.

The check in wasn't great. The girl on the desk was going to charge me taxes and the room had been prepaid and the taxes were included She wrote our room number on the card but neither my husband or I could read her writing. we made it up to the 7th floor only to find that we were at the wrong room so we had to go back down to reception and find out what our room number was. The other girl on the desk couldn't read the writing either and had to look our room number up on the computer.. when I checked out the man on the desk didn't mention that I owed taxes.

It was verg good but they have forgotten to prepair extra bed for my son which I maid special request. There is another thing ,I didnot expect that we are going to pay more for breakfast and I have thought that the breakfast is inclusive with the reservation.thanks

The AC and fridge did not work. Hotel was extremely over priced. The proximity to the airport was the only good thing about this hotel.

room aint le meridien but you cant beat the location.

Great location from terninal less than 1 minute walk and not stupid airport prices , so no taxi required

It must be the number 1 choice if you need a hotel close to Vienna airport. The location cannot be more perfect, and the standard is quite satisfying. Of course there's not much in the way of scenery ...

Very good location directly next to Vienna Airport

This hotel is fantastic if you have an early flight out of Vienna. You just walk across the street to the airport. The room was nice and the staff spoke english. My only complaint is that we reserved a room with a king size bed but our bed was just 2 twin beds pushed together. If you layed in the middle the beds came apart! If I would have known that I would have reserved a cheaper room and pushed the beds together myself. Overall this hotel is expensive but nice.

We booked this hotel just because of the location. Meant to be a relaxing way to end a tour, it was dissappointing. We were unable to eat in the a la carte restaurant because a waiter did not feel like moving some table, though the restaurant was less than half full. Could not get the front desk to answer the phone in order to set up wireless internet access - which should be free and available anyway. Shower was not great. Room was not very soundproof for being by the airport. Overall, not felt to be very good value for the rate charged.

Nice hotel. Just across the street from the Vienna terminals. a one minute walk. Nice hotel. quiet and comfortable. Perfect for early morning flight.

Clean, stylish and very convenient - just a 1 min walk to the airport in the morning! Watch out for the buffet - delicious but expensive.

Hotel is clean and perfect location to Vienna Airport. The next best reason is that rental cars can also be easily dropped off. You can get to the inner city easily by taxi or 15 minutes train. Very satisfied with the clean atmosphere. A bit expensive, but well worth the convenience.

It's wonderful being so close to the airport especially when you have an early flight. There was a brief few minutes of loud guests in the hallway. I would stay here again.

Stayed for one night prior to a morning airport departure. Hotel just yards from airport entrance and ideal location. Hotels rooms were OK. Hotel reception staff would benefit from a course on how to smile and be a bit more pleasant towards customers. Buffet breakfast was to be 19.5 euros not including tea / coffee. Although I had booked 4 rooms on line and paid extra for taxes and fees I was somewhat annoyed when I dropped off the 4 Room keys at reception and made to leave the hotel. I was called back by a member of staff to pay an additional 9 euros 80 cents for something they called city tax. This was not mentioned in the web site when I selected this hotel so be warned to have spare cash ready on departure.

Pros: Hotel is very close to terminal entrance. Cons: Rooms are very dated - Unless you reserve an Executive Room. We reserved a Business room expecting one of the more modern rooms. This was not the case. Be warned. It was a hot night in Schwechat. Air-Con was not very effective. Room was hot. Note that hotels.com rates do not include a city tax of approx 2 Euro per person chargeable on check-out.

I stayed 2 nights, and everything was perfect. The quality of the room, meal, bar, was right for the price and it's a very comfortable place.

Great location for an early morning flight. Pretty far however from downtown especially if lugging baggage to another location. Internet connection very expensive (an added cost) and breakfast buffet was also expensive so didn't even consider it. Would stay again for sure if there there was an early flight in my plans

This hotel was excellent, the breakfast was expensive but worht-it.

This hotel is fine if you are given a newer room. We weren't until we realized how much the room didn't match the pictures on the internet and asked to be switched to a room that cost the same price and was really nice. The older room was terrible, especially at a high rate! It was dated, had about a 13 inch TV,, small bed and only a shower. Didn't quite understand why we were given the horrible room, when a newer room was available. II know you pay for location, but that first room should never be given when another is available, and if so should be at a lesser rate.

This hotel is literally steps from the airport door. Service was excellent, room was clean and comfortable.

Stayed one night in Vienna while traveling back home. Chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport (right across the road). Connections to the center are quite good. Overall an OK hotel.

This is not a great hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The rooms are small, the bathroom was cleaned to quickly, and the hotel staff are not polite, rather curt and dismissive. Consider this hotel only for its convenient location and keep it to a minimum stay!

As a regular business traveler through Vienna airport, this hotel is idea for those early morning flights. Admittedly its not the cheapest hotel option in the area but the location (40m from terminal) and quality of facilities, make it a popular choice.

There are other hotels in Vienna itself offering better value, room quality and character for less cost but for an early morning flight (6.50 am) the convenience of this hotel cannot be beaten. Front desk staff were were friendly and polite, unlike numerous past experiences at this hotel. Overall, well satisfied and will continue to use as travel plans dictate.

The attraction of this hotel, although nice enough, was the convenience to the Vienna airport for an early departure. For that, it was perfect.

This is a very comfortable hotel to stay near VIE. (Like 20 meters outside the main arrivals door.) The business center was overpriced and lacked basic functionality, like the ability to upload a picture. It is telling of the prices of the hotel restaurant and other amenities that you can find them cheaper in VIE. The hotel had a professional and polite multilingual staff. You are paying for comfort and the peace of mind that you be near VIE and will have no problem making connections. In this respect, the price is worth it. Otherwise, not recommended.

Excellent location if you are flying out of the Vienna Airport. NOISY location with lots of auto and bus noises, even with windows closed. Overpriced breakfast and restaurant. Biggest benefit is location as you are only steps from the airport terminal.

The hotel is clean and very convient to the Vienna airport (easy walking distance). The AC did not work but the windows open and even being close to the airport the noise was not bad. Easy access to the CAT train. Good for the travler with an early flight.

I stayed at this hotel for one night arriving rather late and leaving mid day. Location is great for airport travelers as it’s literally 50m walk from the terminal exit. Staff is nice and price is ok. Didn’t like the fact that you have to pay an extra 9Eur to use the gym (which was spacious but not well equipped, steam rooms seemed nice although I didn’t use it) Breakfast was good, the usual European Hotel 20EUR (which is think is very price), a cheaper alternative would be one of the many arrival halls places across the street at the airport. The allowed late check out with no issues which are always appreciated and the location of the nearby conference center (for which I booked a board meeting) is great. To summarize, in case I have a quick meeting in Vienna would definitely stay again.

If you want to stay within walking distance of the Vienna airport, this is the perfect place. If you want a bargain, try something else. My TV wouldn't turn on at all. After the maintenance person came up to the room, he suggested I call the front desk. I was asked to change rooms. Since I was already practically in bed, I asked if I could simply have internet and not be charged for it instead. I was told sure and opted for that. I logged onto my phone's wifi for a minute to check personal e-mail, and when I went to log on to my work laptop it wouldn't work. You pay separately for each device. When I went to check out in the morning, the internet access charge was on the bill. I don't mind if I know the rules up front, but to not get the explanation and to get charged for something when I'm told I'm going to get it in lieu of the working television, I just find it rather annoying. Oh, and the staff is very friendly if you're non-American.

The pros about this hotel is the walking distance to the check in counters at the Vienna airport and the fact that the windows open in the rooms. It is clean, but the beds are hard and uncomfortable for a non European. The food is mediocre and expensive. I wish I'd chosen to eat at one of the airport bistros instead of at the hotel restaurant's buffet. Also, internet access without your own laptop is a costly 10 Euros per 30 minutes

Unhelpful and haughty staff! The young man at reception would not even confirm my flight for the next morning. The brochure sttaes that there are healthj club facilities, but it does NOT mention that one must pay an additional 9 Euro to use them--unheard of in such a hotel! This is deceptive, in my view. The telephone was inoperable, and a maintenance man did not come to repair it until more than two hours after I had reported. Additionally, this hotel would not permit use of telephone cards. For these two reasons, I had to go to the airport to use a coin telephone to use my card to call my husband.. VERY disappointing hotel! It clearly does not merit a four-star rating.
