Staff were friendly. We were upgraded at cost extra $30.00. We did report the smell of smoke in our room but even with attempts to make changes the smell did remain.

We've stayed here before and this site is quite nice. Room are clean, staff friendly. DUring the week was perfect, weekends got a little noisy with partyers but when I complained the security and front desk staff responded promptly. I would go back. Hotel also has hot tub, cool pool, not the closest to town but only a 20 minute walk away.

This hotel is located in an amazing place with beautiful mountain views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and cozy with a woodburning fireplace that sets the mood. Would definitely go back!

We really liked this place. Our room was spacious, with a kitchenette, a fireplace, and a separate bedroom. The property was nice, clean, and well-maintained. The hotel had a spa with awesome view of the mountains, which is a plus. Weekend evenings, the spa was taken over by numerous young folks though. Also there was a grill for guests to use. The people at the front desk were very helpful and courteous. Parking was free, and there seemed to be plenty of parking spots, but over the weekend parking spots filled up quickly. The hotel is located somewhat away from Banff town, tucked away in the woods. We saw some deer walking just outside our window! We liked the location because it was away from the busy tourist traffic, and it had such nice views of the mountains! Overall, we are happy with our stay there. We want to go back to Banff someday, and if we do, we would like to stay at this place again!

Booked last minute and received a great deal on the suite. Staff were very friendly. Hot tub was fantastic! Living room in suite could have been more comfortable but beds were excellent. Location is outside of the town with nice mountain views. This was my second stay. Both times very good. Take advantage of the outdoor bbq!

We were all impressed with the accommodation, the service and the best of all the Hot Pool!!! Everything at our fingertips, firewood, ice etc.. Having the bus pass was a huge plus, when shopping or eating out, did not have to worry abt driving after drinking.Thanks for the memories!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the resort and were really happy with the free bus shuttle that was offered. It was so much easier than trying to park downtown in Banff

Immediately upon check in and after securing the condo which sleeps 8, the host at the front desk advised me he was going to be charging me an additional rate for 2 additional people. He advised me I had only two people registered to stay in the room. I said that wasn't right as the room sleeps 8 and my family was travelling from Saskatchewan. I had my booking papers which prooved him wrong!! Despite my paperwork and advising him there would be only four in the room due to inclement weather condition in Saskatchewan, he advised me he was going to charge me for an additional two "anyway"..... Needless to say, I expressed my concern and I was clearly not happy as to "WHY" he would like to charge me for something that I am not buying and is not happening. I refused to pay his extra charges and had I "not" had my paperwork, I'm not certain what he would of ended up paying for a room that sleeps 8 with only four people in it!!????

Great staff very helpfull. Great hot tub. Nice and convenient room where you can cook. Unfortunately, it's a bit (a lot) noisy on week end.

We are very satisfied.

Number ONE ranking in Banffdf absolutely justified

Excellent rooms and grounds. Hot tubs were great.

We had a special night staying in one of the condo suites at Hidden Ridge Resort. Though we declined offers of an upgraded room (the deal wasn't that great) and stuck with the no-mountain-view lower-floor basic room. We still loved it. The room had a well-equiped kitchen, a small dining/living room area and a single bedroom with two queen beds. It was simple and somewhat rustic, but that's what we liked about it. We started by jumping in the hot pool with cold winter wind whipping over our heads. Our request for more wood was promptly responded to and we enjoyed a roaring fire with our wine. An unexpected bonus was the bus passes that meant easy transportation to and from the Banff townsite. We enjoyed our brief stay and can foresee a longer stay in the future.

Hidden Ridge met the needs of our family of five and dog's trip to Banff, but did not exceed them. View is lovely, but hot tub windy in January. Wear a toque! :) The room was HOT so we were unable to use the fireplace. The beds were very nice, but the pull out was very uncomfortable. It is nicely located to walk the dog though and the girl at check in was very helpful and kind. Cleaniness was a bit of a concern as both carpet and pull out mattress was badly stained.

Very impressive views, hot tub and over all "Feel". We loved our condo and appreciated the friendly and knowledgable service. Busses are availbale for free to Mainstreet in Banff, which we used and were grateful for. Our friends and family will be back - great quality for pricing!

An amzing resort with great outdoor hot tub. If you don't want to cook in the kitchenette a local taxi service will deliver your choice of food from restaurants. Beautiful space and friendly staff!

Very clean room. Helpful staff. Nice outdoor hot pool.

Overall, a very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and responsive--good service. The only things that were minor inconveniences is there was very little storage space for clothes and the cooking equipment was sparse. I wanted to roast a chicken and there was nothing that even resembled a roasting pan. I raosted my bird in a saucepan--it worked just fine.(Part of the adventure??)

We were overwhelmed by the quality, for the price. Perhaps our expectation of the tourist area were lower than average, but the staff, the facility, the venue and the overall experience were perfect. We travel frequently and are not just "in tourist la la land" but are fairly experienced with 1000 hotel stays in 10 years. As we left, we looked at each other and said; "No need to try any other next tim ewe are in Banff"

Nice place to stay. Somewhere between three and four star place. Beautiful hot-tub outside with view over valley. Free firewood for use in suite. Well-stocked with utensils and dishes. Walls seemed fairly thin, so heard people above us more than I would have preferred.

Lots of fun for a girls getaway. Beautiful settling, the bus down to Banff was very convienent. Great facilities!

Everything was great. The view, the hot tubs and all the amenities in the room were first class. Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The bedroom seemed cramped, even with only a queen bed. The bed sagged and was uncomfortable. However, the young man at the front desk was very courteous and gave us a great recommendations for dinner. The hotel provides free tickets for the bus service around town that we very much appreciated. It was a fair value, but for a romantic getaway, I would look elsewhere.

Great location just on outskirts of the town - we had a car but they provide a good regular relay bus which is free. THE most comfortable beds, great ambience, paking space right outside our unit, hot spa pools overlooking the mountains, barbecues set up for use around the site, lovely wood burning stove which THEY provide everything for - even set the fire and lit it. Excellent place, excellent value. GO!!

Definitely enjoyed our stay at Hidden Ridge. The unit had plenty of space for 3 adults, and the location of our unit was great. Near the bus stop. Improvements that we would suggest would be addition of fans to the units. It was quite warm, and since there is no A/C, it would have been nice to have had some fans. Also, a drape placed over the window in the loft would have been appreciated since the window can be viewed from the campground. Would stay here again and would highly recommend.

The staff and service at this hotel is excellent, professional, friendly, helpful...just terrific. Updated features of pool overlooking the mountains is great. Rooms could us an update, but they are clean and have alot of the amenities you need, especially for groups/famiilies.

It was very nice. When the staff were cleaning the room next to ours (125) the vacuumn outlet was making a lot of noise. The rubber seal was worn out and there was air whistling while they were vacummning.

We stayed here for a few nights and were slightly disappointed. We started with a deluxe one bedroom condo on the first floor. It was very small and dark, the bath tub had what looked like dog prints in it, but it turned out to just be an older bathtub with scrapes in the bottom. We could hear our neighbors walking around above us and asked for another room. They were sold out of one bedrooms so we opted to pay extra for an upgraded unit. It was well worth the money not to have people above us. Overall though, for a location with such gorgeous views, the units were dark and felt closed in. There was a lot of noise--you could hear neighbors talking, heating/cooling units, a bus idling in the driveway every few minutes. Right next door is essentially an RV park, so you get a lot of traffic noise from that as well. On the upside, the staff was very nice, very courteous, and friendly. They brought us fire wood to make a fire and sent someone over right away to resolve a problem with the toilet. On the whole though, I don't think I'd stay here again. After driving around Banff, there are plenty of other options for hotels and I would probably try some place else.

Upgraded to a loft suite which was very roomy and comfortable. Outdoor hot tub had a great mountain view.We were far enough from downtown Banff to avoid the traffic and congestion. One of our favorite hikes was the walk to Banff (20-30 minutes) on our first day in the park. Since we were tired from traveling we used the free bus pass for the trip back. We enjoyed walking around the surrounding area at dusk. Great views. Since we had a kitchen we were able to eat dinner next to our own fireplace. We also enjoyed the hiking trails and lakes/picnic areas located close to the hotel.

The hotel front desk staffs are friendly, and effeciency. We got a nice two bed rooms suite face to banff town, surrounding view is beautiful, we love the swim pool and we have enjoyed very much.

This hotel was a hidden gem! We had a great stay the staff were wonderful. The hot tub and pool were also a treat! Also to our surprise we were given bus passes to catch the bus to downtown. Would recommend to anyone.
