In fairness, the motel itself was as advertised- it's just a motel. However, the surrounding neighborhood was a dump, surrounded by loitering, staring folks who certainly didn't look friendly. Additionally, the other guests were noisy, rude, and somewhat intimidating- we overheard loud drunk shouting (VERY thin walls), confused wanderings and mutterings, and what sounded like some kind of domestic dispute between the hours of 1:30-5:00AM. I would definitely not stay again

It was better than paying over $200 a night for casino hotels there prices at casino hotels are crazy . I would stay here again .

You're not getting luxury here. If all you are looking for is a cheap place to crash for the night after a night at the casinos it's perfect. it's affordable and close. If all you are using it for is a bed, a place to get ready before going out and a place to drink before going out, it's great! otherwise, dont bother. But you're probably not reading this review if you're looking for a really nice romantic getaway spot.

I wouldn't advised my dog to stay there. The place smelled like cat. There was no heat or hot water. The customer service was horrible. The owner were very disrespectable. We were afraid to use shower as well as sleep in the beds for beg bugs. Please be mindful when using hotels,com. to review their recommendations on company's offical websites before reserving rooms to avoid a horrible experience.

I only stayed one night but it was all I needed. A shower and a bed. Cheap.

It has just what I need a conformable bed , hot shower and clean room.

Property needs a complete makeover,the only ice machine is in the lobby, the room smelled like my grandmother's closet, like mothballs.

I thought I could survive the one night without the phone. A strange man came knocking at my door. Also I could not get a wake up call. The man knockingbb was kind of scary.

Everything was fine

the room was alright but bathroom wasn't very clean, heard people arguing all night long and lots of homeless people on the back stairs doing drugs

waste of money...

The Trump Taj Mahal is across the street, very close and convenient to the Boardwalk. I wish I stayed there.

Ok For the Price

It is a cheap motel (cheap by AC standards). You get what you pay for! Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and secure. And the location is great! I was very satisfied.

I had trouble locating this hotel, because they had CHANGED the name to Day's Inn and was NOT longer the Travel-Lodge. Please be certain that when making reservations, your information is correct, this way your customers do NOT go crazy looking for a hotel with another name.

Very close to A.C. Boardwalk. I was going to a show at the Trump Taj and it was only about one block up from there so it was very convenient. If u only need a room to sleep in, it's half the price as staying in the casino so it worked out for me. Nothing extraordinary about anything there. I was just happy to the lose to the Trump and having a clean bed to rest at night. The air conditioner worked great and I even had a mini fridge to put some drinks inside of.

This place was god-awful...so much so we didn't even sleepover. Instead after our concert we drove the hour home. After spending hundreds on the concert tickets we thought we would save money on the hotel room. The room SMELLED DISGUSTING that I had to wash everything even though we didn't sleep there...and we were convinced we'd wake up with no car to drive home...if not just broken into. Never again ...don't stay here!! I tried to save money and instead wasted it bc we didn't even stay over!!!

Dried vomit on the walkway to the room as we checked in at 10PM (it was cleaned up the next morning). Room is shabby, linens looked dirty in the sunlight the next day, beds werent the worst I have slept on. All in all not bad for a Motel in AC, but I think the price was a bit high for the quality. Places like this are what give AC a bad name when someone expects a nice stay.

First of all it was way to expensive for what we got. The floor in our room was damp. The bed was hard a board. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

VERY CLOSE TO THE CASINO'S!!!=)

We stayed 3 nights during the week. We will use this motel again. Not fancy but very clean. Short,easy, flat walk to Resorts, boardwalk and beach.

Staying at the Travel Lodge was great, if you don't plan on spending your vacation in your room. This place is cheap and its only a block off the boardwalk. Its also situated at the very end of the board walk right across the street from the Trump Taj Mahal, and the Resorts casinos. You can't beat the location. There weren't any extra bells and whistles with this hotel. Just a place to lay your head between trips to casinos. It was clean except for the stain on the floor. They checked me in way early at 1130 we got there at 1030 gave him our number and he called us when the room was ready. They also let us check out late after a late night on the boardwalk. I would stay again during the beach season.

Run down and outdated but there were good points. The location was a plus and the room was clean. I would recommend only if you are looking for just a place to sleep.

Cheap motel yes. Not the prettiest motel, however it looked as if they are upgrading room by room. it was convienent to the boardwalk, adjacent to resorts and the taj. unless you are on the boardwalk, Atlantic City is just not the place where you would want to be walking the side streets. they probably only have smoking rooms at this place, so we purchased a can of airfreshener and sprayed away all weekend. it was a place to crash at the end of the day, some place to park your car. At check in the guy barely spoke english and a young kid actually handed my the room cards, he couldn't have been more than 14. when we got to the room we had to go back out to the office to get some toilet paper...this place was fine if you don't have high expectations.

This is not a good hotel to stay in .i was not impressed at all. never again

The Carpet was a little damp, causing a slight oder in the room. There was NO hot water. The warmest it got was lukewarm. We were not able to take a shower !!!

overall we had a great stay room was extremely cold when we entered but the heat came on later on.

the hotel was dirty and very poor was the worst in the past year i will never come back to that hotel

The room had no hot water. the front desk person was very nice, tried to make my stay a happy one, besides the hot water the stay was nice.

it’s a cheap room so you get what you pay for. I read the other reviews but didn’t think they were being honest. so I booked the room .I am a large bald tattooed biker type and this place scared me. the man at the check in was very nice.

The hotel was ok. For someone traveling with a baby isn't so bad. It's not the best looking place to stay in but you get what you paid for. It wasn't as bad as I expected, from reading other people's reviews. Very convenient location, a block away from the boardwalk. The neighborhood isn't so bad as well. My husband and I didn't felt unsafe at all especially for our one year old. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the smell of cigarette even if it's supposedly a non smoking room.

The hotel was a place to put your head but it was really really crappy. It was actually pretty gross. I booked a NON-SMOKING room and of course they gave us a smoking room. In fact it didn't even look like there were any non-smoking rooms. We stayed over the weekend and the rates were ridiculous for what we got.... especially since I recently looked up the rates of the casino hotels (which are much nicer) for during the week and it was cheaper for 4 nights than it was for 2 nights here. The staff was nice though.
