Excellent value and a beautiful hotel. We first stayed here in 2006, I was pleased to see the hotel still in good condition. The hotel is located away from bars and clubs and so is quiet. Happy to recommend.

Fab stay from start to finish . Hotel staff couldn't be nicer. Beautiful room very modern will def stay here again

Comfortable hotel in a lovely location. The staff could not have been nicer in fact on the morning of the match my son, along with other children who were at breakfast were given a free match program and Liverpool magazine. This as a nice touch. The leisure facilities were top class my son and I made full use of the pool. I will be back in the not too distant future with my good lady wife for a shopping weekend.! All in all well done Crowne Plaza

Good quality hotel with good rooms and frriendly staff. Doesn't have an onsite car park and £20 for valet parking while not overly expensive car parking should be for free.

Nice hotel but the bed in my room (no. 525) was quite honestly the worst that I have ever 'slept' on, you could feel and see the tops of the springs! Everything else was pretty good but considering that the main function of a hotel is to have somewhere to sleep it's a big fail.

Excellent hotel in a good location not to far from the centre, very modern and clean with a good pool/suana etc area, would recommend to stop again, the only problem is when its busy the breakfast area is slightly small and had to wait 5 mins to be seated apart from that excellent.

second time to stay in the splendid radisson hotel and wont be my last.

disappointed with the pool area needs updating. got conned by the taxi ordered by the hotel and riff raff were allowed into the bar area. Next time I think I would be better off staying at a travel lodge or something on par as the only thing nice about this hotel was the breakfast and the staff which I cannot fault.

The staff were great!nothing was too much trouble. will def be returning.

From the outside the hotel does not grab your attention but walk inside and what a fabulous spaceous interior. If your afraid of heights dont peer over the balcony from the 8th floor we stayed on, located in a quiet area of the City but a short taxi ride to the main attracations.

Main problem was we requested a smoking room - there are only 5 in the hotel - or so we were told. But what they didnt tell us was that windows dont open so really it should not be smoking room. 'Queen Bed' is 2 beds pushed together, quilt on bed does not even cover the entire beds. Room service called to room very early every morning - did not suit us as we were on a weekend away. Bar food and drinks are very very expensive. Small cup of coffee £2.75 - few doors down is starbucks - 2 large coffees just over £3. Would not stay there again.

Bathroom smelt of smoke appeared to be from a flue which gave the towels a smell etc. Reception was uninterested. Room could have done with a good clean.

Great hotel, room big, bed big and comfy. Breakfast was fantastic. Fitness centre could have been better, it was a little untidy and the steam room was out of order but it was still nice enough to use the jacuzzi and sauna. Check out was at 12 which was great.

We were told on check in that the hotel was over booked and we had to find alternative accomodation or use a front room with two roll away beds. We opted for the front room as we had travelled 5 hours to get there and the thought of calling round to get another room was not what we wanted. The hotel gave us £50 as compensation payment bu the nights sleep was awful. The room was not clean and was very dusty and the rollaway beds were not fit for a homeless person.

We stayed for three nights and were very comfortable. There were minor issues with breakfast ie. key items unavailable on all occasions, but staff were very quick to put this right when pointed out. We had one evening meal in the restaurant and the food was of a good quality and beautifully presented. Staff at reception were very helpful eg. calling cabs and advising re directions to restaurants etc. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely staff and hotel but the room was a bit on the warm side and the air con not quite up to the power to cope with it. Lots of carparks nearby too

Travelled to Liverpool with family to watch a game,and got a great deal on the hotel,so couldn't turn it down.We arrived at the hotel early,about eleven o'clock,and were allowed to check in as we were told the room was ready,but as there were 3 of us in the room,the third bed wasn't yet in the room.We had a view of the river,and were on the 6th floor,so we had a decent view.The window in the room can't be opened,which means no fresh air,and it can get quite warm.Why not use the air conditioning I hear you ask....?Tried to,but could not figure it out. The third bed was delivered a short time later,which was a fold out bed,and a quilt and pillow.The guy had to push a chair into the corner to squeeze the bed in,which was a very tight fit.This room was certainly not designed for 3 people,it was far too small. Myself and my uncle decided to use the pool to relax a bit,with maybe a sauna and steam room,and a bit of a swim.If you are going to the pool,make sure you bring a pound for the locker in the changing room.The pool is very small,and the jacuzzi is miniscule,which is about the temperature of a cold cup of tea.The walls all around the pool are crumbling,with the plaster coming off everywhere.The sauna is on one floor,an the steam room on another,which I found strange.The pool area was well below par,cold and empty,and not very comfortable.After the match,we came back to the hotel for a drink,deciding to have an early enough night.We ordered 3 pints,which came to 2 to 3 pound more expensive than anywhere else we had visited.The bar is very expensive,as is the restaurant and room service menu.We did not eat from either,so cant comment on the food. At eleven o'clock I rang reception to ask for an extra pillow,and when the housekeeping service arrived the next day,I still had not received it,and had to ask the maid.I dont think I would stay here again,although the close proximity to the city centre was very handy. Very helpful reception, friendly staff, nice hotel; however, £20 per night for car parking seems a cynical rip off!

We really appreciated all the staff who were so attentive and friendly and made the stay wonderful. The only thing that was an issue is my sister found their bed uncomfortable. I was fine sleeping on a rollaway bed as there were three of us in the room but she found her bed too hard. The location is fabulous and a very quick walk into town.

tHE HOTEL WAS MODERN AND FRIENDLY, THE BAR AREA RELAXING. bREAKFAST WAS A BUFFET STYLE WITH PLENTY OF CHOICE.

The only reson I woldn't recommend this hotel to other people is becuause it is a little further out than other hotels. I realise it is not that far away from the centre (lessthan 10mins on foot) but it is out of the main shopping area. I would defintely recommend it to business people.

This hotel was comfortable and clean. The location seems to be in a business district, so not very much in the neighbourhood, but if you walk about 10 minutes away you are in the centre of the city, so it's in a reasonably good location. I found it outrageous that parking was £20 a night at the hotel not included. I parked 5 minutes walk away in a completely empty parking garage for £5 a night. Overall it was a nice stay. Taxi cabs were cheap getting around since you're close to everything.

Check-in staff were not rude but they were not as welcoming as what I have experienced in other hotels. Hotel is in a fairly good location. We took a business class room. Had a wonderful view of the sea from the room. The room was clean and fairly spacious. Internet access at no extra charge was a plus. The bar in the room was not stocked when we arrived and we had to call for it. Ordered room service for one of the dinners. The food was good and reasonably priced. Though there was a mix up in the flavour of ice cream that we had ordered. The breakfast provided was satisfactory but they seemed understaffed to cope with the flow of people. So be prepared to sit at uncleared tables or wait a while for your orders.

The Radisson Blu is very modern and comfortable with a friendly staff. It's walking distance from the major tourist locations in Liverpool. We booked this hotel because it was discounted on Hotels.com, but it would have been worth paying full price.

We visited for my hen do. There were 14 of us in total. Very friendly, checked in quickly and arranged taxis for us. Excellent! Rooms were clean and well furnished, spa was excellent. The drinks in the bar were very expensive but overal, it was brilliant!Got an excellent rate!

Considering the 10 minute walk to town (5mins to Cavern Club, Liverpool One etc) the value for money that this hotel offers in unrivaled. Plush, modern rooms that avoid that unfamiliar and cold atmosphere that many of Radisson's rivals suffer from - this hotel in both design and comfort, is phenomenal. The only downside was that our 'double' was 2 twins pushed together, but this seems to be commonplace and unfortunately thesedays. This was counteracted by amazing customer service - I was watching a rugby match on TV in our room (Sky Sports 1 & 3 in the room!!) when the signal switched off and we were left with a blank screen. A member of staff appeared within 2-3 mins of me calling room service to have a look at the TV, unable to resolve the problem, we were invited to the bar where the game was put onto the projector and we were offered free drinks! Can't ask for better than that, what a hotel, I would happily pay more than competitiors rates for the priviledge of staying at this hotel again.

The Radisson is a very trendy hotel - rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Taxi Service very good and cheap to all locations.

Excellent modern hotel with leisure centre. We got a very good room rate. However, breakfast was not included and this ended up being very pricey. Wouldn't bother with breakfast there again. overall however, this is an excellent hotel and very good value we thought. 10 mins walk to city centre proper.

Staff were very pleasant, polite, welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was very clean and tidy and had everything that was required and spacious for the two of us.

Fantastic hotel, we stayed in business class and the rooms were real nice! I would highly recommend this hotel, ideal for everything! Only tem minutes walk from town. The only downer was the price of parking - cost £20 per day. However they take your car away fro you and bring it back!!! Overall a fantastic hotel!

This hotel was gorgeous, the foyer was like something out of a magazine with a large white grand piano in the middle, it definately has the wow factor. From the minute we stepped into the hotel we felt at perfect ease and pampered and the room was large, including the bathroom which was huge. So all was well intil about 11pm on the Saturday night when the wedding at the hotel turned the music up and we all then listened to it until 1.30am which sort of negated the restful, pampering weekend we were looking forward to. We were going to book again for the end of Novmeber but thought that with all the Christmas parties they will probably be holding we will give it a miss, shame.

stayed for 2 night the room was very nice but the king bed was a twin beds joined together which is not comfortable for husband and wife the housekeeping didnt cleaned our room until the late of night and the cleanese was not good

Great hotel, Clean, modern, very spacious, good bar area.... we didn't try the food as we were on a stag weekend, but i'm sure it was of an equal standard as everything else. Well located, within a few minutes walk from Albert Dock and not too far from the city centre. You can easily walk from the hotel but we were lazy and just jumped into taxi's which are very cheap anyway. Rooms were priced very cheaply for the excellent standard of accomodation provided.

Rommet vi bestilte var dessverre ikke så stort som vi hadde forventet da vi var 2 voksne og en ungdom (som går som barn i henhold til aldersgrense). Videre var service god ved bestilling av tjenester som skulle betales, men slett når den gjaldt oppfølging av det som var lovt i bestillingen. Nydelig frokostbuffet med strålende personale. Ellers overraskende "bøssette" i inngangsparitet som ga et litt shabby inntrykk.
