Phoenix Park Inn Resort - كاندوليم

The hotel is on the lane opposite to Lemon Tree hotel on the road to fort Aguda. I booked this hotel when I stumbled on this deal in the "Deals" section and also on the recommendation of my cousin. However, the experience I had was far from a 3 star one! We were to check in at 2 PM but did not receive our room until 4 PM which inconvenienced us a lot as we are tired with all the travelling. Although we were greeted with a welcome drink, there was no packaged water bottles in the room. The room stank of old smelly shoes. Other than that we had a great pool side view and the lighting and ambience was comforting. Although some of the electric fixtures were'nt working it did not impact us as such. We decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant and got ourselves a table near the bar. However, it was atleast 10 mins before we were told that restaurant service was not available there and that we had to go to the dinning hall. We opted for the buffet dinner and were not pleased with the menu. There was a shortage of non-vegetarian items and the food quality was not top. But I must say that the breakfast was something I have not had in a very long time. I would not recommend this hotel but the breakfast, surely! :)

The matress in the room was extremely uncomfortable (thin foam mattress) and we told the staff that we cannot sleep in the bed. They said that all rooms have the same mattress and there is nothing they can do. Later on it turned out that all other rooms had proper spring mattresses. After we continued to complain they replaced the mattress for us. Another problem we had was that the temperature in the room was too low and we asked the staff to change this several times but nothing happend. We were freezing the whole stay. Besides this, the hotel was ok.

Called reception twice to fix TV but no action. They don't seem to give the same attention to Indian customers as they do for Foreigners. Need improvements in this area. I should have been given two queen beds where as I was given one queen and one mattress.

I definitely like the hotel because of the cheerful staff, good food and the cleanliness. The guest staying and mostly foreigners. The location i.e. Candolim beach is not very crowded like Calangute beach and that's what I liked. The beach is very clean and again the crowd is mostly foreigners. So thumbs up to Phoenix Park Inn and Candolim beach. Great place to stay.

The Hotel rooms are very comfortable and it has a nice swimming pool. However: Junior staff service is atrocious! (Senior staff is affable, responsive and good!) Some of the room's maintenance is bad (the handles and fittings were coming off!) Many of the facilities like the main Restaurant, Gym, etc were under renovation!

15 min walk from the beach, and 5 minutes to restaurants if the hotelrestaurant is getting boring. Good service but Internet disappears sometimes and so does the electricity but they start the backup generator within a few minutes. This is a ok hotel for the pricetag.

Our three nights at the Phoenix Park Hotel in Goa were pleasant and without any major surprises. Our room was clean and comfortable not lavish. The service was friendly at all levels. The food was of good quality. Some problem with acquiring hot water in the morning and a toilet that malfunction were minor detraction. I would book the hotel again if traveling in th area. This is a nice and clean hotel for budget travellers, which is deviod of the luxuries of a 5 star, but it hygenic and conviniently located to make your stay in Goa comfortable. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and tidy, service is prompt and staff is also pleasant. We did not have any trouble during our 7 day stay at the hotel. Food quality is also good at the hotel, though breakfast can have a few more options for vegans. Overall, our stay here was very comfortable and pleasant. We would definately recommend it to people who are looking for a safe, comfortable and budget stay in Goa. Looking forward to visit Goa again and stay at Phoenix Park Inn

Our stay in Hotel Park Inn Goa was very nice, though we went in mansoon but their staff made that very pleasant.

It is great hotel for family vacation, as it offers all inclusive deals for the indians. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There are no elevators, these buidings are 4-5 stories. Front desk staff can be a challenge to deal with. Specially if you are a foreign tourist and did not book room thru them. Supervisor at front desk may be threating and yelling at you for no reasons.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. It was good. We liked the service, cleanliness, ambience..If you are planning for booking this hotel, please go for it. It would be a good decision.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend some time in Goa- The rates are great and the services provided exceed the tariff- by far. I would rate the hotel at a4 stars and the standards are fairly good, wether it be cleanliness, upkeep, quality of staff, couteousness- all exemplary. where the hotel did fall short was on the Breakfast- this could definitely be improved in terms of quality & taste, the spread is adequate The hotel is just 10 minutes from the beach and just off the Aguada -Baga road so very handy for travelling around Definitely recommend to all my friends and would definitely revisit

Overall the hotel stay was great. The surrounding area and beach was not the best (I hear south Goa is much nicer, this was in north Goa) but the hotel was clean, safe, the staff was friendly and it met my needs for the stay.

En quittant la route commerçante vers Calangutte, un chemin vous donne accès à l'hôtel situé au calme. Les différents pavillons de cet hôtel sont disposés dans un jardin autour de la piscine. Un cadre reposant et très bien aménagé. Le personnel de la réception est très attentif à vos remarques et toujours disponible pour vous rendre service. J'avais demandé une chambre double à 2 lits jumeaux, il ne restait que des chambres à 1 lit pour 2 personnes. Dès le lendemain, le problème fut réglé et je pus changer de chambre. La plage n'est pas loin de l'établissement, 5 à 10 minutes à pied. Un hôtel agréable pour y passer plusieurs jours.
