My son and I stayed 1 night from a long day of road travel. Convenient location and secure garage parking (additional fee). The room was very clean- so clean they dare put bright white linens and covers on the beds. Absolutely fresh, clean smell to the blankets, sheets, and comfortable pillows; it was the most peaceful, soundest sleep I've had in weeks! View from the 9th floor, out the front, fantastic view of planes taking off and landing in the distance. Enjoyed the stay immensely. If this place had an outdoor pool I'd move in permanently.

not so good. information provided on internet different from what is available.

I was sorry there was no info on the booking page on the 24hr shuttle the hotel had. I arrived at midnight and took a 3 min taxi for $21 only to find they had shuttle ech!! I know I should have phoned but I got really busy. I will be more proactive and insistant in future.

Loved the room! ...except the staff made a mistake and gave us a plain sofa, instead of the sofa bed we needed, which we only discovered at midnight when trying to get some sleep. Breakfast was decent, however some of the food was undercooked, with sausage a little too pink in the middle. I would definitely go back, but would be on-guard for some things such as checking the sofa bed immediately after checking in.

I would stay there again.

Clean, spacious, modern and very close to the airport. Good value.

It was the worst stay I have ever had in a Hotel and as such would never book at this Hotel again.

My flight was cancelled in Toronto due to weather. Air Canada gave me a brochure with a phone number to call for a discounted hotel room but I was able to find a better deal thru Hotels.com. My legs were very sore so when I searched for a hotel I made sure to find one with a hot tub. Upon arrival, there was a sign posted on the front desk that the pool area was closed for renovation. Needless to say I was very dissappointed but the hotel employee looked to see if he could find me a room with an over sized tub in the room but the hotel was completely booked and he could not accomodate that. I asked for a discount but he said that due to the fact I booked it thru Hotels.com and paid thru their site, he could not issue a discount. I called the 800# for Hotels.com com and their customer service agent was AMAZING! He apologized that Hotels.com did not have accurate information that the pool are was closed, he called the hotel to confirm this was true, and then returned on the line that he was putting a $50 credit on my account for my next reservation! UNBELIEVABLE! Before this incredible feat of customer service I would shop around on various websites for hotels but Hotels.com has just earned all of my business, all of the time! THANK YOU HOTELS.COM!

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was not clean, had to go to another hotel to eat, and was not told off this before we arrived. Will not stay again.

For the low price we paid, the room was big and very comfortable. The pool was small but so nice and warm it made taking a swim very pleasurable and the airport was ridiculously close (5 min drive). The restauarnt was fairly priced and the food was very good. The continental breakfast was good, had hot food and it was tasty! Will definitely stay here again!

The Fairfield was very convenient for us for a one night stay...Very close to the YYZ airport and easy on and off to the major hghiway routes...Nice amenities, such as the gym and pool....very generous complimentary breakfast selection..We would stay again and certainly recommend this hotel to our friends.

The stay was perfect, but I found it a little bit inconvenient that they charged CAD 12,00 a part for the car parking and they slipped the invoice mfor this surcharge under the door, during the night, informing on the invoice that they had charged my credit card. Would be much more courteous to tell the guest in person and ask him how he wishes to pay.

The hotel was a pretty up to date for the most part. I found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable, the pillows were very lumpy and used. I also found the breakfast to be a bit cold. Overall the stay was pretty good and there was a really good breakfast spread.

Service was excellent. Continental breakfast was awesome. Not just toast and jam. Rooms were very clean, furniture was a little dated and rooms were a little too dark. Definitely felt like a hotel.

Very convenient for airport, and we will definitely use again. Clean rooms and facilities, friendly staff and cooked breakfast. As airport hotel, dining should be available later than 10:00pm.

We waited an hour for the shuttle service and was shocked to see how close the hotel is to the airport. I was furious!! In hindsight, it might not have been the hotel's fault as we had the 'travellers aid' call for us and perhaps she didn't, we will never know. Next time I will call myself. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh, clean and delicious, very impressed. Wish we had stayed longer, it was that good. Thanks

We will be going back

A perfectly good hotel that is a very short distance from the airport. The rooms are large and clean and have a microwave. The breakfast is buffet, included in the room charge and very generous. There is a bar, but it seems to close relatively early compared to overseas hotels.

quite satisfied and would choose Fairfield again.

Thank you for the cosy beds for myself and my two little kids. We landed at the airport after midnight and called the shuttle. They came right away, checked us in after 1am and we had a great night's sleep. The late check out time of noon was awesome for coming in so late with little ones.

We just had a short lay over between flights. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

Overall my stay was very good. Continental breakfast that was included with stay was very good. For the price of this hotel I would recommend it to anyone.

Very good would recommend it to friends

All was excellent with the exception of the beds which were extremely uncomfortable. Also, the pool was very small hence disappointing.

The best thing about this hotel is it is close to YYZ and has a free shuttle. The rest is simply average to slightly below average. The TV is an old 32" tube model, the wall paper was dirty and scratched and it could use new carpeting throughout. The lobby bar served a few dinner items, but a local subway would have been a better choice. The gym (over-sized closet) had a few residential-type units. The staff 's enthusiasm signaled they were overworked and underpaid.

Nice hotel and very nice staff

We arrived at 2am after a long flight and were accomodated extremely well. Travelling with 2 elderly gentlemen with mobility issues, we were assisted to the room by staff and helped with luggage. Late check out and a hot breakfast was all very helpfull. Great experience.

In the airport strip of hotels. Need a car to really make this work and the parking is not free generally. Nice amenities and quiet.

I was extremely happy ot have discovered the Fairfield Hotel. Its proximity to Pearson Airport will certainly encourage me to return on every occasion.

Great hotel, nice rooms, clean, good value, conveniently located and bonus was that the breakfast was included.

Good service from the staff, particularly the shuttle driver, but the hotel is miles away from anything including alternative eating houses. However, they do offer their shuttle service to get guests to and from restaurants.

As typical with old hide-a-beds, they cannot be counted on for a comfortable sleep for anyone. Perhaps hotels could look into the airbed system so that even those sleeping in the main area can get a good nights rest. Rest of the room was great.
