Hotel Residenz City - دوسيلدورف

The staff was very attentive and helpful. The room was a great bargain for the money I paid for it. I was at the Radisson in Medienhafen the night before and thought it would be a significant downgrade. But it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was comfortable, spacious. The bedding was comfortable. Internet is 5 Euros extra. As I decided that I didnt want to sleep off my jetlag instead of browse the net, I decided to return the cable. The internet money was refunded. No fuss. The breakfast was really good and it is really close to the Hauptbahnhof (Main Station), making transport really easy. Would definitely return,

This hotel is near the Railwaystation and perfectly OK.

This was a very good hotel compare to *** hotels. My room was a littlle beat too small but very clean & furnished nicely! The breakfast was very good & the area was clean & nice. Best thing beside the fare price was The owner who is the manager of the hotel. He is a real gentleman. Very welcoming & helpful when eeded!

We booked this hotel for 2 nights having read the reviews about it on hotels.com. I can say that our stay was very comfortable.The rooms were clean and well maintained.There was free tea and coffee available all day and the breakfast was superb considering the price of the hotel.The staff on reception were excellent and of great help and more than accomodating with their assistance. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Ko and old town however there are plenty of shops on route. Without a doubt this is the best value hotel I have stayed at and wouldnt hesitate to stay again upon returning to dusseldorf.It is about 2 minutes away from central station for all bus and train travel. As mentioned in previous posts the only possible down side is that its on a main road and there is traffic noise however we never found this a problem at all.Highy recommended.

I had a two night stay at the Hotel Residenz. Just around the corner from the main rail station & within easy reach of the City Centre. Very clean rooms & staff on hand if you have any problems. Breakfast was well presented & plenty there. No hot food but that is to be expected in european hotels. Coffee & tea were plentiful with as variety of flavoured teas as well. On the whole, very satisfied with a good quality economy hotel.

Hotel staff (front desk and breakfast room attendant) very friendly and knowledgeble about local attractions. I arrived at this hotel from airport via S11 train to Dusseldorf Hbf station (main station). No need to take the sky train at the airport to the station where you can also take the S1 to Dusseldorf Hbf because the S11 train is located walking distance from where you pick up your luggage (station entrance is opposite to McDonalds with escalator going underground). Paid only 2.30 Euro for train ride. Hotel room was a little shocker to me when I entered (mind you I am accustomed to larger rooms and travel with my family as opposed to travelling alone this time). Single bed ...very small room but cosy and comfortable for the night. I usually don't complain about noise but this is the first hotel ever where I was aware of outside traffic and actually had to shut the window to be able to sleep. I instead opened my bathroom window and closed door for circulation in the room. I was able to purchase travel card at this hotel. Travelling to this hotel from Dusseldorf Hbf by walking I did get lost and wandered about unnecessarily with my suitcase even though the walk is only about 13 min long. From main entrance at the train station turn right and when you get to the traffic lights it gets tricky. You have to curve right to cross the road (but i kept walking along the curve and under the small overpass) after crossing, you have to curve left and then cross again to get to the hotel...my google map was even confusing for me lol. Hop on Hop off bus is located right across the train station (get out main entrance and cross the road at the lights and turn right ...head in direction of tourist info). Breakfast room was very clean presented nicely. Food consisted on different breads, cheese, meats , cereals and fruits and hard boiled eggs. Juices and tea and coffee was also available. The elevator is fun with glass walls to provide a view - though very slow. The location is an easy walk to the main train station which provides easy access to the Messe for conventions.

This hotel was awful. The carpet was wet and covered with mildew. The smell was overpowering when I walked in and they would not allow us to change rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Residenz Hotel is very conveniently placed near the station in Dusseldorf. At a reasonable price the rooms are fine and so is the breakfast - the hotel is well run. Main disadvantage is the noise of traffic outside: it's best to keep the windows shut, which is fine in winter but not so good in summer.

A GOOD CLEAN HOTEL 7MIN WALK TO TRAIN STATION,WE GOT 5DAY TRAVEL TICKET WAS NEVER ASK TO SHOW IT!!!!!!!.ROOM WAS GOOD & CLEAN.CLOSE TO OLD TOWN OF DUSSELDORF 2 STOPS ON TUBE.PUBS CLOSE TO HOTEL WERE VERY NICE TO US.HOTEL IS ON A BUSY ROAD SO EXPECT A LITTLE TRAFFIC NOISE!! WOULD STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

The Residenz Hotel is located only a hundred metres or so from the Dusseldorf Station, which is very convenient. However the area felt a little dodgy, and we would not have felt safe venturing out along after dark. The rooms were fine - the decor is very dated, but they were clean, and had all the facilities we required. The dining room for breakfast was fine, again a bit dated but it had everything we needed. Overall, the hotel was fine for our requirements. It needs updating, but it was affordable and we had no problems.

Residenz Hotel is a nice smaller hotel conveniently located near the main railway station and ca. 25 minutes walk from central Königsallee. There's a main tram stop right at Worringer Platz, from where you can get to most interesting locations in 20 minutes. The hotel itself was good value for money and the complimentary breakfast was ok. However they should work on their internet service. I find a wired internet connection charged pr 24 hrs to be inconvenient and expensive. There was no wifi.

A budget hotel with 4 star value. excellent service and convenient location near the train station. It's hard to find faults, but you'll have to find another neighborhood for good restaurants and shopping. The low cost will allow you to stay in this beautiful city longer. The above average breakfast is worth noting. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Very nice staff and helpful. Very clean and close to trains/buses and double decker tour busses. Very enjoyable. Breakfast was plentiful and came with room.

This hotel is cheap and cheerful. It is very clean but basic, we definately got more than what we paid for with excellent service. 2 complaints would be the noise of traffic but if your a heavy sleeper not a problem! It was very hot in Dusseldorf at the beginning of July a 37 degrees but this is unusual, due to this the room was very hot but the hotel supplied a small fan free of charge and opened the windows as wide as possible for us. 1 tip if you want fresh towels leave the dirty ones in a pile on the floor! 5 - 10 mins walk from the main station which is great for getting to Altstadt the place to be!

The breakfast is great. Lots of choice with good quality food. I will stay here again if I go back again and would like to recommend this hotel to everyone. Very close to center train station and old town. The last day, we had late flight, and they let us storage our luggages for free which made our day. The downside of this hotel: 1. noise - if you do care. 2. No lobby to sit. Both didn't bother us anyway:)

J'ai apprécié cet hôtel. La chambre était belle, propre et très agréable. L'accueil était sympathique, le personnel parlait allemand et anglais. Il y avait des prospectus sur la ville à disposition, ce qui est très bien quand l'office du tourisme est fermé ! Le petit déjeuner était bien. Je vous conseille cet hôtel !

Lage gut, leider sehr laut. Frühstück ist wirklich sehr gut, alles vorhanden.

Sehr zu empfehlendes Hotel !! Hier stimmt alles: Freundliches, nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer mit Safe u. Minibar (keine Gebühr), gutes Frühstück ( Buffett ), sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung ( Strassenbahn vor der Tür und nur 500m bis zum Hauptbahnhof ) !!! Das Capitol ( Theater mit Musical KEIN PARDON ) liegt gleich um die Ecke !!

Für diesen tollen Preis darf man nicht mehr erwarten. Es war alles in allem wirklich ok.. Im Bad hat es etwas muffig gerochen, was man aber nach 5 Minuten nicht mehr wahrgenommen hat. Frühstück wirklich voll ausreichend.. für ein bis zwei Nächte unproblematisch!

Удобно расположен, чистота в номерах, отзывчивый персонал, нормальный завтрак и все это за небольшие деньги. Пожалуй, в следующий раз я остановлюсь здесь же.

Prisvärt, bra läge nära Hauptbahnhof och mittelstadt. Frukosten var bra men madrasserna var lite väl hårda. Rekommenderas!

Wir möchte gar nicht viel zu unserem aufenthalt im Residenz Hotel Düsseldorf sagen. Für alle die in erwägung ziehen dort zu nächtigen. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber und beim öffnen des Badezimmerfensters schaute uns eine mindestens 2cm dicke Schicht aus Dreck und Schimmel an. Trotz unserer Bitte an den zuständigen Hotelchef sich dies doch bitte mal vor Ort anzuschauen, verweigerte dieser dies mit der Begründung das er hierfür keine Zeit hätte und die Reinigung der Zimmer einer Fremdfirma obliegt. Auch das Frühstück war sehr dürftig. Also von Residenz keine Spur. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Sehr freundliches Rezeptionspersonal, kurze Wege ins Zentrum und für Capitol ein Katzensprung. Zimmer sind wie bei meiner Oma, einfach aber sauber und mit Fön und Flachbildschirm. Ideal für einen kurzen Aufenthalt

Bonjour, Nous sommes arrivée le premier soir à 0 h 30 et l'hôtel était fermé ! Plus de reception à partir de 23 h 30. Lorsque j'ai effectué la réservation puis sur l'accusée de réservation, il n'était pas spécifié que la reception fermait à 23 h 30 ! Nous avons du dormir dans un autre hôtel à proximité alors que nous avions déjà payé la nuit au Résidenz Hotel.

Hotel kann man weiterempfehlen für ein oder zwei Übernachtungen in Ordnung. Frühststück sehr reichhaltig und gut. Preis-Leistung - Verhältnis war klasse.
