Great location and amenities. Wonderful view and porch. Like that there was one vanity outside the bathroom.

We didn't like the parking at this hotel at all. It was very inconvient for us to park our car in a very tight space. Sofa in the living room was broken. Also, the curtains in this room were ripped.We wouldn't recomend this hotel to our friends.

I did have some complaints. 1. The quality of the room was below average, meaning: the cupboards were usable but were falling apart, you could see where some of the shelves were caving in and the quality of the work was very shotty. This was not a deal breaker. 2. Which is the biggest and possibly a deal breaker for us, PARKING. Big deal the parking garage was located within the actual resort building and was around 9 floors high. The parking garage however had only between 5-8 spots per floor making it impossible to find a parking spot. The worse factor of the parking garage being that the corners and dimensions were so tight that it was near impossible to manuever within the parking garage if there was another car anywhere near you. Even without another car breathing down your neck for a spot the ramps to the next higher level were so small and tight together in our full sized 4 door sedan we had trouble making the turns properly. They did however have an over sized vehicle parking lot which we parked in one night and got a warning ticket. This upset me as I mentioned I have a full sized 4 door sedan car it is longer than most average 4 door sedans and this factor made it quite difficult to park within the small, tight, poorly designed parking garage. We had a nice time and liked the location. We had never stayed at Ocean Forest but will consider it in the future.

I did not like it. The hotel was dirty the kitchen, bathroom had mold the walls were dirty n stove. The dishwasher did not work. I won't stay at this hotel ever n I don't recommend it to nobody.

The hotel itself is nice. Our 1 bedroom suite was good. The only issue was we found a bug in one of the queen beds. The beds were slightly uncomfortable. Some guests were noisy, especially while returning to their rooms at night, waking others. Rooms was clean.

Overall, my stay was pretty good, no complaints about the quality of service, everything was ok. The only thing that's questionable, the hotel gives you a free pass to a hotel water park and they lead you to believe the water park is in close proximity to the hotel but the park is approximately located about 3.5 to 4 miles from the hotel which is to far to walk and if you drive you can never find parking,

We were very disappointed with the hotel. Everything in our room was old and stained- the carpet, the sheets, the towels, everything. The staff was nice, but the shuttle bus was not there to pick us up at the airport as arranged a week prior. Our flights were delayed so that when we arrived at the hotel the front desk was closed and we had to travel in the taxi to another one of the properties to check in. Overall I would not recommend this hotel/ condo

Hotel room was beatiful. All of the spaces are individually owned condos so that explains it. The rest of the hotel isn't much to look at. Getting to the room was a big relief. It is directly on the beach and has a great ocean view from three sides.

My stay was great. The staff was pleasant and the hotel was very clean, but my negative experience was with the gentleman from their answering service who was so rude to me on the phone with his attitude, but his comments when I was trying to ask him how to get to the hotel. His exact words, " I don't have invisible eyes"! Please note, that if you are using a GPS to find this hotel there is another address to key in. The lady at the hotel- that was her first question she asked me after I asked the gentleman to be transferred to someone else. She was fabulous!

I was shocked when I got there...I felt like I was at a retirement home for senior citizens. The hotel only gave out extra towels once per day(a towel recesssion) no towels in the swimming area to tell the truth I was disappointted. i have stayed at much better hotel resorts that were more exciting AND family oriented but i guess you live and learn!

It was an ok place to stay but it was old. The parking garage was a nightmare unless you have a compact car. If you have a suv or truck stay away. You can tell that alot of people hit or scraped the wall of the parking garage. Fine dining and shopping was good. I suggest capt George's but it is pricey. We went to pancake stack for breakfast which was really good and affordable. We tried to go to mammys kitchen but they wanted 5 dollars to park so that was a no go. Shopping at the outlet mall was fun. We went to boardwalk at the beach. It is a classic tourist trap. If you go take some money. The hotel right next to the beach which is a plus but kinda of expensive. It is probably cheaper in the off season.

I love staying at this hotel. It was wonderful I love the suite and the service. The attractions was convient and store was right around the corner. My kids enjoyed the two pool and I enjoyed the hot tub and bar. It was the best vacation I ever had and I loved every moment of it. Would recommend anyone to stay they would really enjoy them selves.

The only complaint I have is the parking, it is a VERY tight squeeze to park. To even get to the next level in the parking garage you have to back up so you don't scrub the wall. If you have an SUV you would have real trouble getting through there. Other than that the staff were very helpful and friendly and our room and view were great. Oh except the TV in the living area would turn itself off and would not come back on until you unplugged it and plugged it back up.

overall excellent experience. Parking garage was very small and hard to maneuver in but hotel itself was great! Location great! Price great! made parking inconvenience bearable.

We had a side view room and loved it! Since it is across the street from the beach instead of ocean front like it gives the impression that it is, the side view rooms are the best to have in order to see the beach. Being able to have access to the water park at the neighboring hotel about a mile away was an advantage also. Don't arrive earlier than check in if you need a room when you first arrive though. We would love to stay here again but will definitely not arrive early.

the room was great and the view was breath taking... but it had a coffee pot with no coffee.. i knew i should had brought some because the louge on the 7th floor does not open til 430p

I was a little nervous about the parking garage after reading previous reviews, so I was expecting the worst. When we arrived, it was even worse than I had imagined! I thought my car was going to be stuck in the garage forever! My 10 yr old had to get out and help me negotiate the extremely tight squeeze. Yes, I drive a gas-guzzling SUV, but even the over-sized vehicle lot was inadequate. After managing to get out of the garage, we got up to our room, where our key did not work. So we went back down and the ladies at the front dest re-programmed it. It still didn't work. After the 3rd time of re-programming the card and it not working, they thought maybe they would need to call maintenance. It was 8pm, and my children and I had not yet eaten dinner, so we left to eat, and when we got back they said the scanner was cleaned "real well". I still had issues with the key, but it did finally work. I had a problem getting back in every time we left the room, but they said they didn't have another room to give me. The room itself wasn't anything special, but it was adequate. The bed was very comfortable, sofa bed... not so comfortable. There wasn't enough silverware for the 5 of us, so eating in wasn't going to happen unless we ate in shifts. Housekeeping was non-existant. I never even saw a cart out in the hallways. I really didn't care if no one came in to clean the room on a daily basis, but it took 3 requests over a 12 hr period to get clean towels! The location itself is great! We had a nice ocean view, and the beach itself is a short walk across the street. It is away from a lot of the hustle and bustle, but still had plenty nearby. My girls loved the indoor and outdoor pools. I had decided I would never stay there again after seeing that parking garage. I don't know who designed it, but they certainly didn't have any type of engineering degree! It also really bothered me that every time I left the room, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get back in! My friend and I booked a 1 bedroom unit at Ocean Forest Plaza in January. We loved the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. We also loved how private and secluded the resort was while still being only seconds from shopping and night life. The beds were comfortable and we loved the kitchen in the unit. Our view was called "partial ocean view" however the view was amazing, full view of the ocean and surrounding area. Amazing stay... great hotel!

very nice place. Nice get away!

Overall not a bad experience. I love the fact that it wasn't in the midst of a lot of traffic and noise. We enjoyed the water park at the other resorts as well.

This hotel was nasty. Ocean Forest is really like sleeping in a forest with bugs all in the room with uncomfortable beds and hardly any housekeeping.I guess housekeeping skipped our room 2 days in a row. After every day of complaining they sprayed the room with our stuff laying around and offered free breakfast to a buffet where our 3 kids eat free anyways. The best part of the hotel wasn't even at this location. You have to go 2 blocks down to the Sands Resort. The inside pool was smelly as well. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. All I can say is false advertising! The parking garage is not made for SUV's either, so if u do go in your car might get scratched up!

hotel and service weere excellent. my complaint was with the reservation. it was not corrected as you stated and could not reach hotel to comfirm added days stay.

We rented 3 rooms for our family vacation. All of the amenities talked about, such as water park etc..are at the sister resort 1.5 miles up the road. Rooms are very small. I was told the beds were queen size not doubles but they are doubles. This hotel is across the street from the beach. This hotel has no frills, very basic rooms. We had several broken things in the rooms and they are very sparsely equipped. I would opt for another hotel.

I really can't write anything bad about the hotel itself. I didn't have any problems with staff or anything like that. My room however could have been better. Walls were noticeablly dirty, the area under the couch hadn't been swept in who knows how long. When I moved it I found a ping pong ball, persumably used for beer pong. Speacking of the couch, it was a hideabed. The mattress was horrible, very thin, very springy. The couch its self made for better sleeping. The beds in the room were very hard. We had pillows without pillow cases and covered in drool stains. The kitchen was equipped with enough untensils to cook our own meals. Fridge, stove/oven, sink, dishwasher, and a microwave were all provided. The fridge worked great. The biggest burner on the stove didn't work at all. The other 3 were small and took forever to heat up. I don't think the oven heated up at all. Not that it matter, if it did it was so full of burnt food it would have smelt nasty and been very smokey. We never used the dishwasher did dishes by hand. There was central a/c in the room and it worked well. Almost to well. It would get so chilly in there even on the lowest setting my camera get the chilled to the point that when I took it outside to take photos I was unable to get clear shots due to all glass and mirror parts fogging up in the heat. The bar and restaurant in the building are nothing special at all. Especially the bar. They had two beer selections on tap. Both mass market yellow fizzy beer, and only one of them worked. The loaction to the beach was great. The hotel is on the north side of the city and much quiter than the southern area of town. On that point it's a great location if you're looking for a quite family getaway. Unless of course you are there for the 4th of july. It's just loud every where you go. We were given a free set of passes for a water park at one of there other hotels owned by the same company. It was more for the kids vs. adults. With that in mind my kids eve

This place wasn't at all worth staying at. the room wasn't clean at all. House keeping wasn't all that great! So people please dont stay here!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, but there was some minor issues. Some of the bedding was wore out; had a big hole in bedding comfortor. I guess the biggest issue we had was parking garage. We drive a full size pickup and before we could get out of the situation we scratched the door. Overall the location is great, beautiful place just park on the side of the road not the parking garage.

The hotel really needs an overhaul. The picture and the actual hotel is not the same. This is the main issue with booking rooms online, whether with hotels.com or any other site. More research is warranted if sites want to have reoccurring business and continue to thrive in the future. Do the research to ensure that the hotel and the images submitted or taken match up.

This hotel had great amenities and was extremely close to the beach, which is why we chose this location. However, the staff was not knowledgable. We asked how to get to a particular place and they either didn't know or the directions they gave were not correct. The staff was not very personable - they didn't speak to you unless spoken too. We were trying to check out, and instead of thanking us for our stay, the gentlemen says "ok, your done and you can go". Also, there are speakers in the rooms and when they needed customers to bring carts to the lobby, they set off a siren and woke up my 9 month old. Just a bit unnecessary.

Only downside is that the beds could have been more comfortable. For a beach hotel, we love the place and will stay again.
