excellent experience. My 1st stay but it was my husband's recommendation based on his previous experiences.

I was not able to find a non smoker room. I had to deal with poor aeration and ventilation. When I cam back home I had to wash all my clothes because of smoke smell.

The Staybridge Suites in New Orleans were clean, comfortable, well maintained, and within walking distance of many attractions. The suite we were in was quite large and had every convenience we needed. It would be easy to cook several meals during a longer stay in the kitchen. However, with all of the good food and convenient restaurants, who wants to cook? The complimentary breakfast was quite good. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the lack of convenient parking on a first come first serve basis, and the additional cost of $30/day. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and would recommend it very highly.

The room was great!! The breakfast was great!! The location was great!! The price was not as great. But it was Mardi Gras weekend so maybe..... I would stay there again but most likely not during Mardi Gras.

My wife and I stayed there,very nice.We had dinner at the hotel,''on the house'',we didnt know that on Tue,and Wed evenings they had free dinner with a drink.That was great I wish they would have told me when we checked in,instead we stumbled upon it our selfs.And the only other thing,the vent in the restroom was on the whole stay,there was no off switch to turn it on or off.Over all I will stay there again.

Staybridge Suites is a great value. The friendliness of the staff, the services, the value, the amenities and always; the locations are easy for business travel. I think it's time for a new keyboard in the internet / print room or a good cleaning. Thank you for being a consistent a value based hotel.

My reservations confirmation with hotel.com stated we had a suite with king size bed, at arrival were told allthird party paid rooms were two double beds. Not confortable for 6ft3in male and wife.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was big and clean. The hot breakfast buffett was very good. The location of the hotel was good. It was about a 15 min walk to Bourbon Street and shopping.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Great location, reasonable rates, and they offer a ton of extras. Happy hour food midweek, gym, pool, laundry facilities, 24/7 mini mart, etc. We have stayed in the Quarter and paid 2 times the amount and yet this hotel delivered more. Hotels.com had a great deal and we will stay again. Staybridge helped make Jazz Fest 2011 even better .... like that was possible!!

Very satisfied with this hotel. PROS: Large, clean room Comfortable bed with lots of pillows Friendly, English speaking staff Above average complimentary breakfast Great location, especially for Mardi Gras--2 min. walk from Uptown parade route. CONS: Could hear other guests slamming doors during the night, not really the hotel's fault.

So happy we booked here to stay over new years. Clean, roomy, comfy bed and very nice free breakfast. They have a managers reception a couple of nights during the week with free food and drinks. Close to French Quarter, walking distance, but far enough away to not be so crazy and noisy. Only glitch was that the elevator was broken and we all had to use the service elevator. They have a little "store" next to the check in desk where you can buy beer, wine, munchies, etc. open 24 hours. We will now seek out Staybridge when we need a hotel as the price is not much more than other places, and you get so much more. Will tell my friends--you will not be disappointed! Tip: The trolly/streetcar is only five dollars a day and is much cheaper than a cab.

The hotel was very accomodating! I hate that I had to pay for parking per day, but since I received a great deal through Hotels.com I still paid less than I would at another hotel for equivalent or even better quality.

Very nice staff. Room had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke.

I'VE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL IN OTHER STATES AND IT WAS JUST WHAT I EXPECTED IT TO BE.. COZY CLEAN COMFORTABLE. KEEP IT UP STAYBRIDGE!!!!!!

We will stay at this hotel next time we go back. It was very spacious and I loved the fact that they had a contenintal breakfast the next morning! It was really good too! In a great location also... sort of in the middle of everything. I am also glad we booked with hotels.com b/c it saved us around $40!

This was my first time in New Orleans and at a Staybridge and both were exceptional. The Staybridge experience was one I hope to repeat in future travels into the USA. It is definitely a traveler-friendly hotel with all the amenities one could ask for. My wife has numerous dietary issues so having a full-size fridge, micro-wave and cook top in a very efficient space was invaluable. While the Staybridge N'awlins is not in a heavily travelled area at night, we felt no sense of insecurity when walking in the area late at night - although the sidewalk between Poydras and Canal St. is badly damaged. And for those uninitiated - Tchoupatoulis is pronounced Chap-a-tu-lis.

If you're looking for a convenient location, with easy access to the Convention Center and French Quarter, you've found it. Why pay lots more and get less? This may be less flashy and lack the upscale hotel services, but if comfort, cleanliness, and convenience are your concern, and your budget isn't limitless, this is the place.

The price of the hotel was excellent for the location so I was expecting a less than decent room. The room was very big with a kitchen and it was very clean. The help was also great.

"Suite" was much smaller than advertised and we were promised a fold out bed, but did not get one. (One of our party had to sleep on the very tiny sofa.) The "suite" was in desperate need of a good cleaning. Some of the dishes put away in the cabinets were dirty, the bathtub was just plain yucky and we found things left behind from other guests (gum wrappers, tissue and some papers). The "suite" also needed some repairs. The faceplate of the lightswitch in the bedroom was cracked, the carpet was stained in several places and sofa arm had been drawn on. Finally, the AC wasn't cold even though it read 65 degrees and the "buffet breakfast" was anything but.

The hotel was excellent - clean, new, spacious, and very conveniently located. Just be aware that because of its location in downtown New Orleans parking is at a premium. It costs an additional $26 per day (no hourly charges) and as there was nowhere to park while we registered we couldn't avail ourselves of the lot. Parking across the street costs the same, but also has hourly rates.

This was a nice, clean room with good location and great service from the staff. I would gladly stay here again.

The price was good. Location a few blocks to the heart of French Quarter which was good walkig distance. The staff was very helpful. On that Saturday, I need helped zipping up my dress and my fiance left for a wedding already. I called the front desk (Paul) and he sent a nice woman to help me put my dress on in my room. Thank goodness! We also saved money, because the hotel provided complimentary breakfast. The only issues was it was no parking. But at night the parking lot across the street from hotel was free.

No parking lot-actually small was not informed.

Preis-/Leistung ist top! Wir waren in viel teueren Hotels und mussten z.B. tlw. Wi-Fi extra zahlen. Super Frühstück für USA-Verhältnisse! Sehr freundliches Personal. Das sich einige Leute über die Parkinggebühr beschweren kann ich nicht verstehen, das ist Standard und falls es jemandem zu teuer ist (ich finde es auch nicht günstig, dafür aber ist das Auto in einer abgeschlossenen Garage), kann er ringsherum das Auto auf einen bezahlten nicht bewachten Parkplatz zu geringeren Gebühren stellen. Wir können das Hotel bestens empfehlen. Ist auch sehr zentral gelegen und ruhig.
