أقيم هنا كثيراً, والغرف كبيرة وجميلة جداً مقابل أسعار جيدة. المشكلة الوحيدة هذه المرة - لم أتمكن من الحصول على درجة حرارة أقل!

الفندق كان رائعاً, لكن رسوم الانترنت اللاسلكي مبالغ فيها, 15 دولار أو أكثر في اليوم.

فندق رائع في موقع رائع, على بعد دقائق من ميدان Times, مبنى Empire State بل أقرب من Macy's وMadison Square Garden. كانت هذه رحلتنا الأولى إلى نيويورك, ولن تكون الأخيرة, وسأقيم بالتأكيد في Affinia Manhattan مرة أخرى. طاقم العمل كان متوفراً دائماً للحصول على المشورة والمساعدة عند الحاجة. قمنا بحجز غرفة ضيوف بسريرين وعند تسجيل الوصول تم رفع مستوانا لجناح استوديو بسريرين, الغرفة كانت رائعة وكانت تنظف كل يوم طوال إقامتنا لمدة 5 ليال, لا يمكن أن تنتقد الفندق على الإطلاق.

أعجبني طاقم عمل Affinia. ودود ومفيد للغاية. حوض الاستحمام كان زلق للغاية. كانت حركة المرور بالخارج مزعجة. صالة رياضية لطيفة.

Yes, the price for the location was alluring, but that's about it. The check in and check out took quite a long time. The hotel was a wreck as I guess they are doing reconstruction. The rooms supposedly were already redone, but wallpaper was already buckling, lamp shade was broken, and bathroom grout was coming out. I also didn't appreciate the $5.00 "processing fee" for room service on a $6.00 cereal. Not to mention it took me 2 nights to discover the ear plugs they provide in the dresser drawer because it sure was loud. To top it off someone knocked on the door, as I was walking to answer it, someone stormed in. Apparently it was housekeeping, but they hadn't announced themselves and then got after ME for not putting do not disturb on the door. ...I won't be staying here again.

Recently stayed at the Affinia for three nights in May. Not a great experience. The pictures on the website look nothing like the hotel in person. Major construction going on, which it desperately needs. Hotel is outdated. Rooms are big for Manhattan, but have a strange layout so you don't feel the room is that big. Bathroom is so small and no full length mirror. I would not stay there again, rather at the Grand Hyatt.

Hotel was not handicap accessible. Web site did not indicate this. We made our reservation 6 months in advance and it still took 3 tries before we got an accessible room. We were promised a bottle of wine for our inconvenience but we did not receive it. Even after construction, hotel will not be convenient to the handicapped.

Arrived the first night@ 2 a.m. after a flight delay & was checked in to a substandard very small room that had not been well cleaned, & had a refrigerator that was not working. Called immediately and requested another room. Hotel management said the hotel was full so we couldn't be moved until later that day after someone had checked out. We were upgraded to a junior suite by the manager & moved to the new room within less than 10 hours of our arrival. New room was spacious, clean, etc.. In addition, the manager sent us chocolate covered strawberries with an note of apology-- a nice unexpected gesture. Overal satisfaction with the new room was O.K.--it was clean and more spacious overall, though the bathrooom was very small and there was very limited drawer space for clothing. Best thing about the hotel was a very nice restaurant and bar, as well as being in a great location. Would probably stay there again based on those positive attributes alone. Also the management did respond quickly and generously when dealing with our complaints.

The Affinia was wonderful! I was surprised to find our 'room' was more of an apartment, with a kitchen, TWO full bathrooms, a bedroom, a sitting room with a desk and t.v.It was very clean, nice linens, bright bathrooms. Everyone one there was really friendly and helpful. The location was great too ~ right across from MSG. I would definitely stay again :)

I am a frequent user for business trips. Hotel staff are very accomodating, rooms are comfortable and location is very convenient...although not picturesque.

This is not a lovely boutique hotel, but it's fine. My husband and I just needed a place near the train to change clothes for an event and sleep over. The bathroom was clean; the sheets were acceptable; the room was tiny but just about all we needed. Because rooms are so expensive in NY, it was great to get a deal from hotels.com on Affinia.

I had a wonderful experience at the Affinia Manhattan. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel rooms were bigger and nicer then I had expected. The hotel has a very central location, and I was able to get wherever I wanted by foot. Being across from Penn Station, it was only a quick subway ride to ground zero or central park. I will be a return guest for sure!

Good location but an extremely loud hotel. Sirens, car horns feel like they are in your lounge room.

Great location,clean & spacious rooms.you cant really ask for more.the only downside was the noise from the street below,if your a light sleeper then you will be woken up early but request a room to the rear of the hotel should slove this,it wasnt a big issue for us.be aware the hotel lobby is been renovated & work is ongoing but isnt a hiderance.one bad point is the Wifi in the room is charged per 24hrs which in this day and age is ridiculous & it should be free.there is free wifi in the lobby & you'll notice groups of people standing/sitting in the lobby to use the wifi which doesnt look great.location is fantastic,10min walk from times square,subway across the road along with madison square garden.

The carpet of the room was very dirty and sticky. The bathroom was very very small. We understand that there is a construction on the lobby but there is no place to sit even one chair. The wind was coming in the room between windows and walls. especially before to sleep we were putting the pillows between windows and curtain. The place of the hotel was perfect and the stuff was very helpfull

Great stay! My family and I appreciated the great location of the hotel as it was close from Time Square and Penn station which is very practical when you arrive from Newark airport. Our room located on the 9th floor was ideal as not directly on the street. It is a little noisy at night with the many fire trucks. The room is very small but we appreciated the fridge et the large closet. The lobby was under renovation so we could not sit anywhere except the stairs.

First thing let me say the staff is the BEST...not only did we get an early checkout but a late checkout as well...everyone was pleasent and helpful...I hopethe hotel rewards them because other than that I was truly disappointed!!! The room we stayed in was ok...but just ok...tub was old with peeling paint on the interior..our room was facing the interior circle of the hotel so our view was of brick walls and air conditioning units;(...and we still heard fire engines all night ...granted we knew this before hand after reading many reviews....the location can't be beat as we were at an event at MSG...so believe me in this case you Are paying for location...but like I said the service did ease the 350+ bill for a one night stay...

This is my favorite place to stay in Manhattan

Very happy with our stay. Great location! Only a block from Penn Station, and a short walk from many other sites. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, room was very decent size for New York. Had 2 double sized beds, and my wife, daughter, and I were quite comfortable. A bit of street noise, but its New York, and that can't be avoided. Price was great--we paid less then family members who stayed at other hotels, and we had a nicer hotel. We'll definitely go back!

The Affinia Manhattan has a terrific location close to Penn Station, our studio room was big by NYC standards adn very comfortable, and the staff is wonderful. They responded to requests, recognized when things weren't as they should be, and adjusted quickly. I wish we had known in advance that a lobby renovation is in progress. That wasn't a pleasant surprise, and advance warning would have helped our initial impression.I was in NYC on business and brought my husband and kids along. The location worked well as home base for both activities, and the kitchenette was a life-saver with kids along--very easy to have bagels, juice and fruit in the room and quickly accessible. This is not a high-end bright and shiny place, but does a very good job of staying stylish enough and keeping the price point right. And the responsive staff are terrific!

Location was good particularly as it was beside penn station. Our trip involved some time in long island which could be accessed very easily. Didnt spend much time in the hotel or use the restaurant. A small amount of renovation was taking place in the lobby but the impact was negligible.

Primary reason for stay was for concert(s) at MSG. This is the second time we have stayed here and have little of a negative nature to say. The hotel is ideally located just 2 minutes walk form the MSG venue. Room was clean and tidy, facilities very good. Staff friendly and helpful, no complaints here. Travellers need to be aware that this hotel is based almost next door to a Fire Station and there will be frequent over night "blue light" call outs - there is no escaping the noise. In addition the general ambience of the area is busy and there is always some kind of background noise - earplugs are provided. For people travelling imminently, the hotel is undergoing some modernisation and there is a lot of activity in the lobby area and at the back of the hotel. In summary, a good hotel, with great facilities, ideally located for MSG, Penn Station and 34th Street Subway. Enjoy!

I had a very short, 2 night stay. The hotel was very easy to find and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a bit of building work going on in the main lobby as they are renovating the place but that wasnt too much hassle and will be finished soon. I found the room to be nicely decorated (newly refurbished) and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was BRILLIANT - hot and good pressure. My only complaints are that the room was extrememly poorly sound-proofed...the traffic noise from outside felt like all the windows were wide-open (they werent), and the draft from around the window panes was quite prominent, I could also hear the conversations from the room next door. I also feel that it was a bit cheap of the hotel to provide free wi-fi in the lobby but not in the rooms (especially as the lobby was unusable with the building works going on). All other things considered it was almost perfect for what I needed - which was a place to rest my head while exploring NYC and attending a concert at Madison Square Garden (practically next door). I wouldnt recommend to those who value their sleep. I would recommend to everyone else.

We chose this hotel because it had been recently remodeled and was convenient. We arrived at Penn Station and were able to walk across the street to our hotel. Our room was VERY spacious with a large bathroom, sitting area, and kitchenette....comfortable and immaculate! The entrance and lobby are under major renovations, but it didn't affect our stay. We would definitely come again.

I had several problems. I complained - mostly about the cleanliness - and was upgraded to a large suite. While the bathroom was cleaner, it still had a feeling of being 'surface cleaned' - not a good feeling in a hotel. While I don't mind Element's use of amenity dispensers, the state of the room left me distrusting of Affinia's so bring your own shower amenities if you stay. I wasn't looking for anything. Just a clean room. The staff were very helpful and probably genuinely concerned, but I would not return. The second manager I spoke with said that even though I didn't ask for anything as compensation, she wanted to do something for me. I told her to do what she felt was right. At checkout, I received a bill for my WIFI usage and single, local phone call ($62USD). To be honest, I assumed that those ridiculous fees ($14.95 per device is insane!) would be waived at the very least. Unfortunately I feel this summed up my stay at Affinia: good intentions, no follow through.

I loved this hotel. It was directly across the street from Madison Square Garden. The location of this hotel sells it. Another thing I liked were the comfortable beds, valet service, nice restaurant connected to the hotel and the rooms were spacious with up to date appliances and a kitchenette w/ stove. I definitely recommend staying here to anyone. It is a little pricey, but well worth the money

Very disappointed on arrival a lot of building work being done to lobby not because of the hurricane but they were remodeling I feel visitors should be informed. My two children tried several times to sit in lobby for that is where free wifi is but builders and service staff there vey rude and asked them to move on they asked was there anywhere else to sit and they were told starbucks across the street.Second day there had to ask reception three times for towels because room was missed by housejeeping twice. Couldn't find microwave in room spoke to reception and twice was told it was there j8kely I was told I must need glasses after 4 people searching for it , it was not in room it had been removed the receptionist then decided to ignore when when I went to speak to her for information because I needed directions. First time in new york new yorkers very helpful and nice , hotel in great location, pity about staff attitude.

This hotel is a mess. They're renovating, but we were stuck in an old, tiny, paint-chipped room with a backed-up tub. It was so noisy that we felt like we were one with the street people. Only thing we liked was the location.

The Affinia Manhattan is undergoing renovations in its lobby and main areas. I did not experience the service level I typically expect from a NYC hotel in terms of bell service, doorman service to help you get your bags around, catch a taxi, etc. The first room they sent me to was on the 4th floor and was like a studio apartment without the kitchen as was very small and stuffy. I asked to be moved to a larger room and they were very nice and accommodated my request to a higher floor with a larger room and a terrace. I liked that room but when i went out on the terrace I didn't see any other terraces so my thought is that I was very fortunate to have received that room. The room has some nice painting details on the walls and an option of 6 types of pillows which is a bonus, but the room still seemed like it needed an update and a cleaning of the nooks and crannies including the vents and corners by the furniture. I guess for the price it was a decent value and location for business travel but I would not choose to stay there on a personal trip.

Great location,very clean room,good size room..

Fantastic location. Unfortunately renovations were underway in the lobby, which meant that there were no lounge seats available. Wi Fi access is available in the lobby, but signal was not good and quite often when access obtained - extremely slow and weak! Room we had was comfortable and was supposed to be cleaned daily. One day room not cleaned at all, even though we brought it to the attention of guest services and main desk. Was assured that room would be cleaned, but not the case!

Loved the location and proximity to Madison Square Garden. The weather was a little weird the four days we were there and they had a hard time keeping it comfortable in the rooms.

This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring New York City. Literally across the street from Penn Station where you can easily hop on a train or subway to get you anywhere in the city and surrounding area you want to go. However, that's about all this hotel had going for it. Room was an OK size, bathrooms are tiny, but this is NY and we weren't expecting anything large. Rooms have been smartly repainted to give more of an urban loft type feel, but they are actually very old and tired feeling. Very loud construction in the lobby area all day every day. Check-in took 45 minutes due to a very long line and only 2 staff working. Order from their pillow menu and someone will promptly deliver your choice of a Barbie-sized pillow. Seriously, they were tiny! Bed was hard, pillows uncomfortable. Again, it is the perfect location but I honestly cannot understand how this hotel is anything higher than a 2-star rating.

Lovely room, clean and nice feel to place. Great bedding etc. some work in lobby being done but not a problem. Would stay their again!

the room could have been a little cleaner and the location next to the elevator shaft with it's creaky cable sounds seeping through the walls all night was a bit of a disturbance.

When you spend $300 to $500 plus on a room the last place you expect to be is in a "CLOSET". Granted the time of your visit can be a factor but some rooms should remain as their intended use! Location is great, staff friendly but just can't shake that feeling of been taken for granted!

This was our 3rd visit to NY in the same amount of years, On arrival we were greeted by scaffolding in the lobby workmen everywhere, no help with luggage, no lift to lobby area, so had to struggle with luggage up a flight of stairs. The check in was quick and room was ready even though we were earlier than normal check in time. The room on 10th floor was very disappointing , much smaller than expected, bathroom was very shabby, and the smallest I have ever been in the shower was so small it was even challenging for my children to wash in. It was approx 60cm deep and 70cm wide with a plastic shower curtain which also impinged on your internal shower space. The shower head was too low for any one over 5ft 8 tall. They only put towels for two people even though we booked room for 4 people. The windows would not shut properly so you has the freezing cold temperatures blowing into the room. On booking this room I spoke to an agent who worked for the group of hotels who said renovations had been completed and the hotel was fantastic. A very disappointing expierence and would definately NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. We are returning to NY in a few days for our 4th trip thank goodness we booked elsewhere.

Horrible. The hotel was under renovation, dusty, dirty, noisy, room with no windows. The renovation was never mentioned during booking. Couldn't get cell phone service in room. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

My teenage daughter and I spent the night with her best friend and her Mom. We had a great time and The Affinia is perfect for hanging your hat. The staff was helpful. I truly feel this is a great hotel to stay and would recommend to others. Starbucks and Bagel Mania are across the street!

I first went by the review point and that's why i selected this hotel for my new york trip because the point was high enough. However, one big defect of this hotel is that there is a too small bathroom in a room. It's literally too small for adult. When you turn around inside a shower curtain, you can't be turning without touching the walls around you. Lobby is under renovation, so don't imagine a decent lobby atmosphere. One good thing I found is the location. It's perfect to go up and down in the city.

They were doing construction down stairs when we checked in, but you cant hear it at all from the 15th floor. The guy checking us in to the cleaning crew were all very nice. Greeted us and asked if we needed anything, The bell men helped us with our luggage when we needed to store it somewhere. The room was quite small, but I guess thats New York for you. ITs right across from Penn station so very convienient to the subway and close to everything. Room was very clean and modern. A little on the higher in price but we had a nice time to be able to relax at the end of the evening.
