Make sure to check out the roof. Older hotel but quite nice. Would stay here again.

Great staff, great hotel, stayed here for six nights in a king suite, if you want memphis downtown then this place is great, however, not so convenient to graceland etc without a car..

Our stay was wonderful. The rooms have everything you need, clean, VERY friendly staff and close to all the attractions. It is an easy walk to Beale Street and has great surrounding restaurants.

Hotel is very convenient to most of the downtown attractions, only 1/2 block from the trolley. Trolley is a must to see the downtown areas. Memphis is a great city to visit, with the Civil Rights Museum/MLKing, Sun Studios, Graceland, Beale St, Cotton Museum, etc. Hotel room was small compared to the normal Residence Inns I'm used to staying at, but was adequate. Good selection of breakfast choices. Times of "Happy Hour" seemed to vary, depending on which brochure of person you read or talked to. Need an additional computer in the lobby; the one seemed to be in use all the time.

The Residence Inn Downtown Memphis is within walking distance of all downtown attractions, including Mud Island, Beale St., and Rendezvous Ribs. Guest rooms are large and modern, public areas are beautiful, and complimentary buffet breakfast is excellent. Service was very good. There are many restaurants within a few blocks, and the Main St trolley stops right on the corner. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel was very convienient, room was great and the hotel staff was excellent.

This is our 5th Memphis hotel in 7 months and it is by far our favorite. The staff was one of the best parts, very friendly. Facility is immaculate for being an historic bldg due to recent renovation. Our daughter is in college in memphis and this hotel will be our pick from now on!

Wonderful staff, Olga front desk, Gerald Valet, very kind and helpful! Clean, comfortable and safe! Top floor hot tub and view is wonderful. Would highly recommend this Residence Inn!

We stayed here our last night of our week in Memphis, and wished we would have stayed there the entire 4 nights we spent in Memphis itself. We stayed at the Holiday Inn a block away the first three nights, then went to Mississippi for a few days. Our last night I booked this room and it was great! The parking garage needs work, didn't take credit/debit cards and the attendant on duty Saturday morning didn't have change for a $20.

An ok stay with no complaints. breakfast adequate although not outstanding Room comfy but the hotel is slightly aged. Staff helpful and the hotel is conveniently located. Nothing bad to say but not the best ever.

Great staff and comfortable rooms. The only thing that I disliked was the fact that my 6'2 boyfriend could not use the walk in shower as the show head was not high enough. Also he had to hold the shower head up for me so I could wash my hair and I am only 5'3. Otherwise the hotel stay was nice and was very convenient. Definitely would recommend to family.

THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE AND COMFORTABLE. IT WAS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF MANY ATTRACTIONS INCLUDING BEALE STREET. THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WE WILL DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN WHEN WE COME BACK TO MEMPHIS.

We stayed at the Residence Inn for 4 nights and loved everything about this hotel. From the polite service, meals and location. The staff was helpful in providing us assistance in setting up tours and was the most courteous place I have ever stayed at. The location was perfect for all events downtown, with the trolley station right across the street. We loved everything about Memphis, especially the local people.

Weekend in a city with my daughters, what a wonderful time. Walked everywhere and loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would love to return with my husband. The roof top sunset topped it off! ;-)

Hotel is a 2 minutes walk from the Main St and 5 minutes from Beale St. Suites are big and clean. Use self service parking, Valet is expensive and the parking lot is next to the hotel.

We absolutely LOVED the location of this hotel! It was two blocks off the Mississippi River and the Memphis Queen ship, three blocks off Beale Street, a few blocks from the Civil Rights Museum, and a few blocks from the Rock and Soul Museum--all within walking distance, or take the friendly trolley! We were in a queen/suite which was HUGE, had a full kitchen, huge bathroom and fold out sofa. Three to four people could definitely stay in this room without tripping over each other! The full hot breakfast was yummy as well as the manager's special from 6:00-7:30 where drinks and food are free! EVERY employee of this hotel went out of his/her way to make sure we were comfortable! From the registration desk, to the breakfast buffet, to the valet parking, to housekeeping--all had cheerful, friendly attitudes! The hot tub on the roof is so comfortable and offers panoramic views of the city and the Mississippi River. There were also several soft, pillowed loungers for just relaxing on the roof. The only negative was our room overlooked the huge air conditioner units and hotels that seemed as if they were right outside our window. We will definitely stay here next time and highly recommend this hotel to others!

This is a very clean hotel with a very courteous staff. My only issue is that their valet parking system is substandard.

Every thursday night they have a free BBQ on the roof. Exce llent, we enjoyed it very much! Nice room, good bed, friendly staff! We recommend it.

One of the Best Vacations Ever. For all our travel, the best pick of a hotel ever. The hotel's staff from housekeeping, valet, front desk, management, cooks/servers was absolutely terrific. I've never had a stay where I notice every enjoys their job and serving their guest. Hospitality at its BEST. We felt like we were at home. Perfect location to enjoy Memphis. Ready to return.

The room was very nice but not big enough for two single people. We were given the smaller of the two types of rooms, we thought we would be given the suite with the pull out bed in the living area separate from the main bed. My friend got up earlier than me and had to make her way around my bed and the bar with little room therefore waking me up each a.m. Otherwise, the service was great, the breakfast and dinners were great. The room had everything you needed if you wanted to cook in the room. The air conditioning went out in the halls, lobby area and elevators but that was just a bad stroke of luck, not their fault. It was very close to most area attractions like Beale street, the Peabody Hotel, etc. and could walk to these place with in a few minutes. Their was a parking garage just around the corner.

We stayed here one night but felt like we came to an apartment – to a home. The staff was exceptional. I have yet to be at a big chain hotel where I was greeted with a genuine smile. They were very helpful and there was just an air about them that made you feel at home. The hallways on our floor were very stuffy and hot but really that would be the only bad thing I would have to say about this place giving that it was very hot outside but in the rooms the A/C was working well. Next time I’m in Memphis I’ll be back here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My husband and our three adult children ( well the youngest was 17) stayed here and stayed in the two bedroom suite. What a wonderful stay, the beds were great, there was a ton of room for everyone to spread out with a full kitchen. The hot tub on the roof was great where we all went up at night and watched a lightning storm. Ver y good location walked to Beale street and Peabody Hotel and the staff could not have been nicer. Breakfast ws a full breakfast filling up the 17 year old boy which is hard to do. Would definately stay there again!

LOVED our stay and had a blast with the guests from Australia and NY City as well. Mavs won the championship so the celebration ran long on Beale, but everyone just smiled and celebrated with us! Olga at the front desk is just wonderful and the staff couldn't have been more gracious. Oh, and 1 block from Rendezvous Ribs! See you again soon.

Thursday evening they had a full BBQ dinner on the rooftop for all hotel guests! It was amazing. The next morning they had a nice breakfast which was awesome too! It really cut down on our expenses. Very close to trolley line and short walk to Beale street. Only downfall and it is minor is no WiFI!

Our stay was very pleasent. The hotel staff was outstanding! They were very friendly and helpful in all respects. For example, somehow my father dropped his checkbook at the curb when we were unloading. The Bellhop brought it up to his room to return it. At breakfast there was something we wanted that wasn't on the menu for the day and the staff made it for us any way. I think they went above and beyond. It was very much appreciated. We loved the layout of the rooms; an apartment style setting very comfortable and easy to relax. The room was clean; the location is great; with easy access to the trolly. I have loved to have a King size bed. We would stay again and I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff is very courteous. Room was nice but overall a bit outdated. Roof access was great- grills, tables and a hot tub (although pretty small). Made me sign a 'No Party' agreement since it was on a weekend night. 5-6 blocks from Beale but close to the trolley.

Had a great stay and the employees were extremely friendly and polite.

This hotel was wonderful and easy to get to. The staff was very friendly. Very clean and the food was good. I will book this place again!

Great location within easy walking distance of Beale Street and the valet parking worked well. Good rooms and a comfortable hotel all round.

Girls get away weekend. Great location. Was able to walk to alot of the attractions. close to the trolley line. Felt safe walking places in a group. Great breakfast bar.

we arrived after 10 PM and were greeted warmly by the front desk personnel as well as the bell man. Hotel has had several incarnations as both a hotel and apartment building and has a great Art Deco design that is preserved. Hotel room was large and featured a full kitchen. Bathroom was also large and had a HUGE closet. Bed was a bit smaller than usual these days, but was quite comfortable, with feather bed over the mattress. Quite convenient to everything in downtown Memphis!

Although the hotel was centrally located in downtpwn Memphis, it was not on par with the quality of other Residence Inns I've stayed at. The room I was placed in showed signs of recent water damage in the ceiling. The bed linens for the sleeper were not provided beforehand. Also, the guest towels have seen better days. If it wasn't for the warm treatment provided by the staff, I would have requested a refund. Fortunately my stay was only for one night.

Hotel room was large with separate living area and kitchen (divided by half wall) from the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. Free breakfast came with room and it was about 4 blocks from Beale Street.
