awful customer service and nasty bathrooms!!

As the review is titled, the room was clean and the lock was secure. The breakfast was a bit of a let-down. The hot item was corned beef hash-- no eggs, just a pan of warmed canned hash. I enjoyed my bagel and cereal though. The neighborhood is mostly commercial, bordering industrial, but if you need to be in the Hunt Valley area and want a hotel much cheaper than the Marriott, here's your place.The desk staff were pleasant enough-- didn't ask for anything but a key. I didn't use the kitchen, but it would come in handy for longer stay.

One of the most comfortable overnight stays I have ever had, including some of the higher priced chains.The staff was an absolute joy to work with and they even started the Continental Breakfast an hour earlier for our groups. Ours rooms (4) were exceptional clean and comfortable. A big atta boy goes out to Chase Suite Hotel!

We were very impressed with our penthouse suite accommodation and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again and recommend.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay. I can't wait for the pool to open so we can go again. There's a great view. The friendly staff made our stay even more of a pleasure. They informed us of things to do in the area, as well as events that wre taking place at the hotel itself. The basketball court came in handy. Our suite made us feel at home.

Very comfortable hotel and a great value. Staff was extra friendly. Breakfast was good but not outstanding.

I've stayed here several times, and for the most part, I'm satsified with the accommodations. The WiFi service is very unreliable, however, with weak signals throughout the facility.

If you arrive late, the door is locked and it takes time for someone to come and unlock the door. Same thing in the morning. The door is locked until 8 AM so it is a problem checking out. Breakfast is all carbs and only begins at 8 on weekends. The floors are wood, not concrete so I was kept awake by guests on the floor above me walking all night long. The hotel is hard to find. Otherwise, the hotel is a good buy for the money.

The room had a few stink bugs. The largest window in the room (ground floor) did not have any blinds & the curtain was see thru and would not close. Front desk was notified and nothing was done. Purchased a picnic table covering to place over the window for the next four days. Adjacent guest had several large dogs , unleashed. This was my second and last stay at this property. I would not recomend!

The first week I stayed at this hotel, I was very very pleased with the room and service received. However, up check-in, this go around, I was less than impressed. The check-in attendent had me waiting almost a half hour to check in while he continued small talk with other patrons who check-in prior to my arrival. Upon entry, to the room, at first glance, the room was very tidy. However, after a few hours the room had a slight unreconisible stinch. I didn't complain about it, because it was not bothersome - so I just simply ignored it. After one night, I observed that 3 of the 4 lamps were not in working condition, which left the room kind of dark. I reported the problem to housekeeping, however, her English was no good at all and it was never corrected. Prior to be time on the second night, I was sitting on the sofa when I noticed that bugs were crawlig all over my arm. There were thousands of ants in the room. I would recomend this hotel to others, however, I would make them aware of things to look out for.

The service was outstanding!! The check-in process was quick. The room was immaculate! The bed was so comfortable and soft - I slept like a baby!

Pillows on bed were flat, the website indicated pilow to mattress but I disagree. We saw a roach crawling on the kitchen floor, the was a odd smell that came and went. The pull out sofa bed was hard, the definitely need to continue with the renovations at this place

The front desk staff was friendly. I didn't realize until very late at night, when I came back from a work event, that there were no shades/blinds behind the sheer curtains on the big window. Since my room was on the first floor I found this to be an extremely uncomfortable situation, so I hung one of the comforters over the curtain rod. I found an empty fast food cup behind a piece of the caddy-corner furniture while hanging the comforter. I was too tired to go to the front desk and ask for a room change that late at night, so I made do, but I'm sure that if I had asked, they would have accommodated. Otherwise, it was a comfortable, clean room and I would stay there again if I ever find myself in the area. :)

the only problem this last time television did not work computer svc cut out alot. Maybe it was just room location. Did not stress out over it. pleasant place

great place to get away and not worry about missing home. you have every thing you need at chase suites in your room. if you want to cook a nice dinner or go out to a nice restaurant near by. also close to the mall and movies. did i mention the beltway is around the corner .

Conveniently located right off the freeway and near the Light Rail station for an easy trip downtown. Pleasant staff. Full kitchen.

Great hotel. Actually more of a studio apartment. Very clean and a great place for a romantic getaway. Just make sure you have more firewood with you

The room was very nice. even had a fireplace. It was on the second floor and it was dark as the lights were burned out in the stairwells. The room had no heat (February). I looked to see the air handler torn apart and I guess was being worked on. I managed by turning the oven on (electric) and heated up the room that way. My point is they should have never rented the room knowing they had no heat. I give the overall stay a 3 because the rooms have alot going for them and if they straighten out their maintenance, they get a solid 4 all day long.

We booked the Chase Suites when we couldn't get a room at the Embassy Suites, where we stayed in the past. We stayed from Feb. 23-25, 2012. We read the negative Trip Advisory comments and didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised that everything was clean, There was a slight odor but we think it may be from a bread factory nearby. The fixtures in the bathroom were old and not flush to the wall and there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was pretty bad- watery coffee and ice cold pancakes and french toast. We opted to go out for breakfast the next day. The location is very convenient to Rt 83 and the places we need to visit. The front desk staff were friendly and free internet was great. Since we spent very little time in the room, it was fine and a good deal for the price.

Great room and near the movies and great restaurants. The best price in the area and better the expensive hotels. People at front desk was very nice. Thank you

I certainly can't complain for the money but I am always surprised when property owners/managers don't invest just a small amount of time and money on maintenance. The room was immaculately clean and the bed comfortable. It was a very large suite with a full kitchen, fireplace (!), comfy sofa and overstuffed chair. Even a petite balcony. The kitchen countertops and vinyl flooring even were more attractive than you miht expect. Sounds perfect, right? It could have been and easily stay full all the time at a higher rate if: the sliding door wasn't out of alignment, the deadbolt worked properly, the sink disposal worked and the door to th closet wasn't off the track.

Fireplaces n kitchens make for a romantic evening. Chase Suites of Hunt Valley made my valentines day 1 for the books...

The hotel was more than I thought it would be. From reviews I was a little scared but it was great. I will b returning with my children n more romantic weekends. Stores are five minutes away. The room was clean n the maid came in everyday by 11. Great hotel I have already passed the word.

i surprised my husband with an enchanted night at Chase Suites. We had our small reception there 3 years ago. so i wanted to bring him back to where it all started. Fortunately, they had a perfect room available. And it was beyond affordable. the attendant at the front was very sweet and helped me with keeping this night special. my husband was only provided the address, so the attendant gave him a note from me and the key to the room. it was sooooo romantic. He even called to tell me my husband was on the way to the room. It is minutes away from Hunt Valley Town center and many restaurants.

Room was clean but the heat was turned up way to high when a got there. Actually ran the AC and it's the beginning of February! Breakfast was disappointing. Suites have full kitchens so you're better off making your own breakfast. Overall, great value.

They're couches need to be upgraded. They sink in the middle.

Hotel was good. Parking was a little inconvenient. Walked a little in the pouring rain because the room was around in the back.

The internet service in my room was not reliable at all. This is the only reason why I'm giving this hotel a 1 rating. If you don't care about the internet, then this hotel is a solid 3. However, when you have business to take care of and cannot get an internet connection in your room, it presents a huge problem. I'm never staying here again.

First the good: It was a good value for an efficiency style room with the necessities our family needed for a multi-night stay. The hotel allowed pets which was a prime consideration for us traveling over the holidays with a sick pet. It was also very quiet, our room was recently renovated and vastly more attractive than the exterior of the building would lead one to expect. The shower was very hot and had OUTSTANDING pressure. The bed was comfortable, clean, and there was good furnishings in the room. There was also the wonderful aroma of McCormick spices in the air which really reminded me of old Baltimore. Next the bad: The hotel is located in a very industrial area with a nearby landfill. There were grazing deer, so perhaps its not all bad there. Upon check-in there were no luggage carts, no bellmen, nor restaurant on premises. This is strictly a self-serve hotel with the exception of housekeeping who seemed very accommodating. We had a two flight walk-up to our unit, the parking was very tight due to renovation dumpsters. There was also apparently a party when we arrived home one night because the police were on site and sending people away. The breakfast was basic at best (not worth $5), and removed promptly at 9am. I'd recommend the nearby Dunkin' Donuts or grocery stores instead. In short, it was a good value for a nice room if traveling with pets or children, but if I had the option I would chose a higher-end and more traditional hotel if your wallet allows for it - at least until the renovations are completed. Also, we departed early to visit family out of state and they were very receptive to waiving the early cancellation fees and refunding us our unused nights which pleased me.

the room was nice, only two things, the balcony was perfect but kinda old, and the other thing is the shower/bathtub could of been better but the rest of the room was beautiful and great.

Room was supposed to be non-smoking. However, the room stunk like smoke. When I called the front office, they apologized and quickly responded with a statement about no other rooms available. I am really wondering if that was the truth considering the parking lot was half empty. Other than that, the room was ok.

The desk service was un-friendly. The guy didn't even say hello, just " you can't check in until 3". When we checked out he again didn't say hello he just took our key looked up our file and said "You can go". In the room the bedspread was lumpy and had holes in it. The stove didn't work and the room when we arrived was colder than the outside of 58 degrees. The morning breakfast was the worst I have ever had. Canned fruit cocktail, stale bagels, runny oatmeal, dry cereal with milk and yogurt. The room was clean the towels were nice, and the bed was comfy even though the sheets were worn thin.

This hotel is good, but not great - yet. The management can be a little questionable at times (an earlier reference to Fawlty Towers was not far off base when referencing one of the management staff). Overall, though, a good hotel. They are doing some renovations to the rooms, so this can only improve the quality of the place. Reasonably easy access to not only the highways, but also Baltimore's light rail system (a very easy walk if needed).

Carpets needed cleaning. Shower had crack/hole in it. Blinds were broken. No elevator.
