The bathrooms are VERY tiny. No tub, just a stand up shower, and maybe a foot of space between the toilet and the door when its open means you have to squish up against the shower doors and toilet to give the door room to close. Aside from that I thought the room was nice...until I discovered several blond hairs on the bed! When I called the front desk to complain the girl apologized and immediately offered to move me to a new room. The new room was a handicap room on the first floor. The entire room was tiled, no carpet (I was told none of the rooms on the first floor have carpet), and had a drain in the floor running vertically from the sink whose plumbing was exposed. The toilet was running, the mirror was crooked, and the sofa in the room was badly stained with a ripped seam. When I told the girl I didn't like the new room she said she had nothing else available except 3 jacuzzi rooms which would cost more per night. I offered to move to a queen room: none available. I offered to take a jacuzzi room if she would give me a discount: couldn't do it. I asked for my money back so I could go elsewhere. She said because I prepaid through here instead of with them that a refund was at the hotels discretion and that it wasn't likely the managers would agree. So I was stuck! There are better hotels comparably priced in the area and next time I'll be going to one of them!

had a pleasant stay

The hotel you can see they did a lot of work on the outside. The courtyard and pool area was beautiful. The room (queen room) was very spacious but the bathroom is very tiny. The towels need to be replaced to thin to dry off properly. They have been washed and reused enough. Overall the stay was nice.

Surprisingly nice. Only hang up I had was, I booked online, when I checked in, told they hold $25 on my card. Actually took $31. I felt that was deceptive.

Front desk lady (I beleive from Barbadoes) was very pleasant! Other lady next day not very nice, unprofessional.

Good hotel for the rating it has. Confortable and clean

The general quality of the hotel is very limited. The complementary breakfast is really bad it is trash, there is not enough amount of food for all guests and there are only three tables available for the entire hotel, so it makes very unconfortable breakfast so you need to go out for breakfast.

it was okay I thought for it to be such a lower rating hotel that it was a fake about the jacuzzi in-room hotel, but it was nice for 1 nice

Woman at front desk was rude and when it was time to check out everything was locked up with no one in sight. Room was not ready at check in time

pool is clean, 8 ft deep ,great room beautiful and modern-clean comfortable-friendly,cosy.spacious

The hotel itself was OK, however very noisy because of traffic. I feel robbed, because I had to pay 25 dollars for an 8 minutes phone call to Delta airlines. Funny enough the phone charge came to excatly the same 25 dollars I paid cash as a depositum.

After all the review i read i was scared after booking it but it was perfect for the price i enjoyed my weekend everything was close by.

We knew this wasn't the Westin or Marriott but it still was below our already low expectations. The street is under major construction as of 8/18/12, the neighborhood behind the hotel where you park is sketchy, the security gates do not latch closed, the room furniture looks new but the shower was old and we chose not to bathe ourselves in it. The worst part was that we couldn't bathe our children since there was no bath tub, and the floor in all rooms are tile. Dirty grout lines, dirty tiles, we wouldn't let the kids walk barefoot. Even we didn't walk barefoot. We checked out first thing the next morning even though we paid for two nights and went to a much much nicer hotel for $30 more a night. So worth it. I will never return to this hotel and would say that if there's a line to be drawn between places to stay and places to never stay at, this place IS the line.

Hotel is very clean, bed is comfortable, amenity in room is very sufficient the only drawback is bathroom is way too small, other than this it is worth for what I paid for.

Bathroom is tiny, but the beds are perfect and the staff is very freindly, ill stay again.

The only thing that I did not like.. Bathroom was small. I would go back.! Service was great, The clerks at the front desk are so nice.

For the low price, I wasn't expecting a lot. The main requirement was a clean room, which we basically had. Some less obvious places, such as the drawer pulls, were dirty, but those can be easily missed by busy cleaning staff.. Wi-fi works only on the lobby side. The continental breakfast was not healthy, as advertised: no fruit, no oatmeal. The motel is not “GREEN” as advertised. It doesn’t even have recycling anywhere on property, even when requested. The worst was being charged “hotel services fees and occupancy tax”. I’ve never had to pay this with a pre-paid hotels.com reservation. Nor was I informed of this on reservation or check-in, which caused criticism of the only helpful person I encountered. When I asked about local attractions, it was suggested I Google them, which is hard to do with no Wi-fi. If you stay here, bring earplugs. Ambulances go down Hollywood Blvd all night and the gates bang a lot. Our A/C started leaking the last night, but we didn’t report it. The pool was clean (though no towels). The fountain and covered swing make a fair attempt at ambiance.

Room furnishing is old and worn out, carpeting has a musty dirty odor also spotted 2 small roaches creeping up the bathroom wall on the day I was leaving. Will not go back!

Hotel nicely remodeled, however had to go to front desk since our room did have toilet paper. also room had a very noisy refrigerator. Other than that, room did just fine for a night! Thanks

First when we arrived with our confirmation in hand we were told we couldn't have that many people (5) in our room when we had the confirmation stating 2 adults and 3 children. So there were not enough beds for everyone. Second, it smelled like puck in our hotel room so we had to open our doors and air out the place so we could sleep in there. When I went to the front desk to speak with a manager I was told that I had to call Choice Hotels because they couldn't help me. WHAT????? They also said they were 3 miles from the airport and it actually took almost 15 minutes to get to the airport and well over 3 miles. The neighborhood is shady and I will never stay there again!

Greeted by kourtney at reception. Incredibly cheerful and welcoming. Room very well appointed. Very clean. Beds comfortable. Common areas very clean. Pool clean and heated. The owners seem to be working very hard to put/keep this hotel on map. The downside is area coming up to location not good. It's on a very busy road that calms down after 11pm. Breakfast is basic and really nowhere to sit but all in all a good choice.

I went a little scared after reading some reviews. But I was very pleased to see the hotel. Rooms were clean, well located. I do recomend this hotel again great price and location.

Good expierence. Check in time could be a bit more flexable but otherwise good stay.

This hotel stated they had shuttled service to the airport and cruise port. The hours did not work for our trip so we had to use a cab whick cost twice as much. Would have stayed at a different hotel if I had of know in advance.

it was a nice hotel but when checking in we were given our room and keys aand when our keys worked for that room but therer was someone in that room. We got another room but the clerk had no idea who was in that room. Quite embarrassing for all parties

The Hotel is very clean. The so called shuttle service leaves at noon time to the cruise and airport. It is very limited. If you have earlier travel arrangements plan on a a cab any where else. The neighborhood is an urban zone. Not many attractive stores/restaurants. I was directed to a bar across the street for meals. Nothing great within walking distance. The Hard Rock hotel is 3.7 miles away.

The description of this "very old" hotel on the internet is deceptive. It is also in a questionable neighborhood and not a great place for kids to be. We had to change rooms two times and the 3rd room was still not that great. The parking is along a back alley road that a variety of charachters hang out in, we didn't feel great parking there or even walking to our car. The rooms have paper thin walls and the people who tend to stay there appear to live there as well and stay up all hours of the night. I would not go there again nor would I recommend it to ANYONE.

Good view fromthe room, many restaurants and store very close to the hotel.

Just got bad feeling when we arrived and a sign said "not responsible for items left in the car." Room was a little too dark made it seem not clean although it was. Bathroom ridiculously small. Had to step into shower to close bathrrom door.

hotel was very clean and well maintained. bed was very comfortable. bathroom a bit small. overall a great room for a very good price. Would definitely go back.

Spent 3 night .Nice and clean. Hardworking and smart Russian personnel. Very friendly. Would come back anytime.

For the money, it was very adequate. The room was large, but the bath was small (no tub, shower only). It would have been better that the room be smaller and the bath bigger. However, overall for the cost, I would stay again. The cleaning service was very good. I found the breakfast somewhat lacking so I ate out.
