This is not a Disney property, it is ON Disney property. We were not told it was under renovation. That would have been tolerable but the hotel was filthy. The carpet in our hallway looked like it had not been vacuumed in months. There was thick dust at least 3 inches out from the wall and stains everywhere. The walls were in disrepair. They should have shut it down and done the renovations. Way too expensive for what it was. Would not recommend.

A large portion of the hotel was under construction which made our stay very inconvenient. Walls were thin and not very sound proof so we heard kids and families running, laughing, and talking in the hallways very late into the night. For several hours in the afternoons - there was no place to get food and there is nothing nearby to walk to. Regular swim trunks for boys were not allowed so we had to buy speed-o type swimsuits from a vending machine at the pool so the boys could swim in the pool. Wi-Fi did not work in our room - we had to go to the lobby. Service in the restaurants was mediocre and the gift shop and restaurants were not always open in accordance with the published "open" hours. Front desk staff were somewhat helpful but gave misdirection a few times and did not disclose information (such as a breakfast box being available, if reserved) when I requested a 5:30am taxi reservation. We would not return to this location - although the kids loved swimming in the pool every night.

Hotel looks a bit neglected, scruffy entrance , foyer a bit bleak. The room was fine though and all the staff very friendly, good value for money.The pool was fabulous my 4 yr old loved it , could have spent hours there. Shuttle bus to Disneyland good service,

It's an ideal hotel as far as sleeping only is concerned, in other words if you plan on spending most of your time in the Disney Park. However if you decide to inlcude some rest days in between it's not the best place to be. During the day, apart from a sandwitch bar there are no real facilities for meals. The luggage storage facility at the hotel turned out to be very useful on our last day after checkout since our departing flight was only later that evening, it allowed us some freedom to venture out back to the village to do last minute shopping. However and lastly, claims that there is free WiFi in the hotel is exagerrated. There is very limited and intermittent WiFi around the hotel entrance/lobby area. As soon as you venture beyond that, whether to the rooms or any other public area such as the restaurant downstairs the signal dissappears.

The children play facilaties are fantastis, there is so much for them to do & the pool is great! If you can get over paper & plastic cups for the rooms & no set tables at breakfast, tired decor in the rooms, it's not a bad hotel. The location is 5mins from Disneyland & the train station on the curtesy bus & they run regularly. If your looking to keep costs down & kids to have as much fun as possible then this hotel is ideal.

Great for families

Good Hotel Facilities. Very Poor Rooms for price paid. Staff never look happy. Breakfast time was a scrum. Happy Hour mobbed. I would stay there again if I had to, but I certainly would be reluctant to pay out for what I did!

Great location, great hotel and very efficient staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip, the shuttle service to Disneyland is regular and reliable. Only gripe.... A two euro charge per towel for swimming....meaning the pool is not 'free to use' and a crazy French rule regarding swim wear resulting in my husband not being able to join us in the pool....what could happen if he wore shorts instead of trunks which would be so bad?? Seeing as other guests were taking photographs on poolside and not being asked to stop, the trunks thing seemed very insignificant.... Otherwise, nothing but praise for the hotel, shame the pool stories had to mar an otherwise brilliant stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very easy with the children and they loved the pool! Great room for a family, well thought out design. Pretty close to the Disney parks.

Great for kids. . Pool and pirate theme kids loved.Buffet food good selection

This hotel has a great location for going to Disneyland. Not anything else. The rooms were just ok. They were clean. But the power went out one day and the TV never worked. The shuttles were unreliable and didn't even come at the times hotel staff said. The pool was only open a few hours in the morning and a few in the evening. Never got to swim. The free wifi was spotty and only worked 10% of the time. The food in the captains library was excellent. Breakfast was pretty good too. The staff were nice. I would probably take the kids back. They had a slide and an arcade, and play area. I just hope they could simplify their wifi process and keep the pool open during the day.

Hotel was all we needed it to be, but we found the staff quite unhelpful. We were also very disappointed that the wifi did not work on any of our devices, and were brushed off when we asked for assistance regarding the matter. The room was also only ever restocked with 1 tea bag or coffee even though it was a 4 person room. Glad we spent most of our time at the Parks and not a lot of time in the hotel!

we were very pleased with the value we got for our money. we are a family of five and the room had plenty of space for us. our kids went nuts for thebplayground and pirate ship themed pool. it was very easy to take the bus to disneyland. we would definitely stay there if we go back to disneyland

You get what you pay for - would rather pay a little more in future. Swimming pool is great for kids.

The toilets were extremely foul smelling, which resulted in a strong aroma of septic pervading the room. Despite our placement of the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the hotel cleaning staff completely disregarded it, and entered the room, failing to adequately clean it each time.In fact,they do not clean the rooms at all. Obnoxious noises of children running the length of the hallways and slamming doors, disturbed us late at night throughout our stay. The heaters in the room also broke leaving us to endure the freezing cold with three kids.

Faculties are good for the kids but comfort and convenience for adults isn't considered.

They have bad beds bad services bad restaurants never go there again

breakfast could be better.

The hotel is ideal for families with great children's facilities. Good breakfast, excellent shuttle bus service, room more than adequate. Only down side was the one evening meal which we ate in the hotel restaurant when the food was lukewarm and far too expensive. The staff were helpful and pleasant especially in the breakfast restaurant. We would certainly return there.

Nice hotel, but some minor needed adjustments needed. For example, no wash cloths, they didn't vacuum or dust the room. The staff was great. Would stay again

Only bad point was the cost of things like drinks in the hotel

This is a very good 3* hotel especially for families with children. The pool area is exceptional. The free shuttle service to Eurodisney is good, fast and reliable.

My partner and myself and our 5 year old daughter stayed here for 3 nights in September 2012. I have to say it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are really efficient and helpful, and the hotel itself is like a children's dream, with a swimming pool, arcade and play area and not forgetting the Disney shop. The rooms were lovely, lots of room and a separate toilet and bathroom. The staff came in every day and made the beds and gave us fresh towels, it was great to come back after a long day and get into a fresh bed! The hotel is situated in a lovely spot and has lovely views, there's a lake at the rear of the hotel. The shuttle bus service is excellent and comes approximately every 20mins, it takes you to the entrance of the Disneyland parks and the train station which takes you into Paris All in all we had a great time and there is plenty to keep the kids occupied at the hotel when you want to relax. I f I was to go again I will definitely come back here.

Very good hotel and Ideal location to stay for Disneyland, Lots of fun activities inside the hotel for children, nice breakfast service, highly recommended.

This was a nice hotel. The staff was very attentive and willing to help all the time. The shuttle to Disneyland was a nice addition. Very family oriented!

I went with my girlfriend and we were slightly apprehensive that it might be slightly "kiddy" for our liking, but that wasn't the case. Good breakfast and a seemingly nice restaurant for evening meal. Around 10 minutes to get to Disneyland with the free shuttle and around 2 minutes getting from Disneyland to the hotel via the same method. Would recommend this to all.

Fabulous pool & easy shuttle service to Disneyland. Breakfast average. No internet in public areas or room at all! Extremely frustrating when trying to run a business & book following travel arrangements. Taxi driver taking us to Paris told us it would be a 30 minute ride; it took just over 1.5 hours so we were glad we had a fixed price prior to leaving the hotel. Would not stay here again because there are plenty of other hotels available in the area.

Crampt , small room with no toiletries. Kids running the hallways at night yelling and banging on doors.The luggage cart was so dirty that my hand stuck to it.Desk personel were terrific , but other employees were abrupt and nasty. Building needs ALOT of mantainence . Hard to bvelieve that this is a Disney affiliate property.

hotel is ideal for kids aged 4-12, locatiion is 5 mins by free shuttle to Disney parks. pool nice and compact, slides ideal for under 12s. we had a 4 year old who loved the pool.

This hotel is ideally located for Disneyland,only 10 minutes via the free shuttle bus which runs all day and about every 15 minutes. The staff were friendly,polite and knowledgeable. There is a good sized pool with lifeguard,play ship and games room with seating area for keeping an eye on the little ones. Our room was ideal for our stay,nothing fancy and unnecessary,beds,bathroom,loo,tv etc. There was a good choice of restaurant eating although we ate at the park during our stay. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels,beds made etc. In general the hotel is clean and well kept,there were a few stained areas of the carpet around the pool corridor but it proves that the pool is clean and treated. The hotel is situated in a cul de sac with 3 others so no noise from passing traffic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Disneyland,or Paris as there is a mainline train station at the park that will take you to the city centre in around 20 minutes.

Ok hotel not the best but not the worst

We stayed at the Explorers hotel for 2 nights at the end of August following 2 nights in Paris. The staff were very helpful and we were able to check in at 10am and leave our bags in the very useful self storage area and then get the shuttle off to the disney park for the day which takes minutes. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Breakfast was a little bit manic but what can you expect. Although we didnt have children with us you can see why this hotel would be great if you did with lots of fun play areas. We enjoyed the pool area and slides too! Staff were very friendly and always willing to help and give advice. Would definately stay here again.

Staff are friendly, good price, this is a budget hotel but well worth it. Pool is fantastic for children.

The location is good for visiting Eurodisney, with free buses quite frequently. Cleanliness of restaurant not very good, with sticky floors. Bathroom have some mold around the bathtube, but bedlinen was clean and beds were quite comfortable. It's an average hotel with good location for visit Mickey and friends

Loved the hotel. Brilliant choice for the kids. Has an indoor swimming pool with water slides so they can confine their fun once you leave the park. My children have asked to stay there again such was their enjoyment.

Very enjoyable, great hotel for kids.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. I've certainly stayed in worse (unfortunately!!). There was plenty for the kids to do in the 3 days that we were there, and although the pool is quite small, it was good fun. The only negatives I can think of were that the hotel was very expensive for food/drink, and breakfast is a bit of a free-for-all. That said, the breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices (and was included in our tariff). The staff all spoke perfect English (which was just as well, as it turns out my French wasn't as good as I'd remembered!!). I'd be more than happy to go back at some point in the future, which, I think, speaks volumes!
