There was some confusion when we first got to the hotel only because I had put one of the rooms in my son's name. Once I gave them my receipt which I had printed out did we figure out what had happen. They were going to put us up in a different hotel. Our rooms where clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, there were no bugs or anything else wrong. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a wonderful breeze coming off of the ocean so I could sleep with the window open. If street noise bothers you then you would want to have a room that does not have an ocean view. We walked every where. Parking was difficult to find but it is Ocean Drive what else can you expect.

The first night we arrive we found 0 parking for us later to find out that we would not receive parking to our whole trip that costs over 20 dollars a day the hotel was ran down the service was horrible the room was almost scary almost felt like I had to sanitize all my linens and clothing before I receive home if you are 18 to 21 years old this is the perfect location to stay at if your anything above please beware pay the ditional money and stay at a nicer hotel

Quality of Service, clean, Hotel Amenities wasn't up to par, hotel wasn't what it was made to be on Hotels.com but it was worth the monies because of the location.

We strongly DO NOT recommend this hotel!! First of all when we got there late at night there were dead flies (!!) in the whole bed! And when we were checking out the receptionist claimed that we had used the phone in the room! We didn't even touch the phone! When we got to see the call list we saw that the calls was done when weren't even in the room, they were made before we had checked into the hotel and when we were out. The receptionist said she would arrange it but she never did, so after we left the hotel, the hotel charged our credit card without our approval! The receptionis was not attentive when we told her that we never touched the phone our said we weren't even there when the calls were made. We are very disappointed and will never visit or recommend this hotel!!!

Perfect location for a trip where we planned on spending very little time in our rooms. The 2 rooms we had were very spacious, and clean enough. Both rooms overlooked Ocean Dr. and had nice views. Our one complaint was the noise level. Street noise carried in through all hours of the night, and additionally the music from the restaurant below could also be heard until 5 am. Bring earplugs. Also, A/C ran full blast and could not be adjusted in the room, so the rooms were frigid. Might not be the same in August, but since we were there in March it was not ideal.

Great location!! Clean room!! We would stay here again and recomendit to others!!

Charming boutique hotel right on south tip of Ocean Drive. Friendly stuff, clean, roomy, comfy, updated room, good enough for sleep. Love the fact that it's close to the beach, and dining.

Awesome location! We could wake up, cross the street and go for a sunrise run on south beach. Restaurants galore nearby. Bed was lumpy but no biggie. We checked in at 630 am and the front desk girl was in the back sleeping...we waited for 15 minutes till she woke up. Understandable for 630 am in south beach. Not everyone is a morning person i guess

I was pleased with our stay. The hotel needs some updating etc. but its typical for beach hotels. Location is fantastic! Looks at the beach and the art deco district. The service was stellar. Gave us a larger room for one surprise extra guest. Let us park for way longer than suppost to. Very helpful staff. Happy vacation!

The cust service here was great ( except for the female that works night shift, she looks like she just rolled out of bed with the attitude to match) but the gentleman there especially the older one where great. I had a clogged toilet in my room, the front desk had someone at my door 5min later. Loctaion was perfect we were in the middle of everything.

I didn't know what to expect when arriving to the hotel for a New Years weekend excursion to South Beach, considering that the cost of my stay was secured for 30% less than the rate of any other hotel in the area, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is old (but in a classic way). This may be off-putting for some who MUST have the most modern accommodations at all times but with an ultra courteous staff, very clean room, and extremely comfortable bed right on Ocean Drive, it was absolutely perfect for me. I would definitely stay here again.

Broken air conditioner, room temperature is 84. Bad environment, very noisy. Overall it's not a good place to live.

Bed vibrated and not in a good way. curtains didn't close all the way. not that great. but enough to get by if you are just sleeping there.

Great place to stay for a reasonable price in visiting South Beach.

Everything really good,especially service and friendliness of staff. Only one bad..no room temp control

Elevator needed to be maitained and cleaned. The people were very polite and friendly. The 1 thins that was very very very disconforting and bad customer srvice isto charge for parking each day of 20.00 that is not right.

Beach Paradise hotel is a clean and nicely situated hotel just at the beach. It's a perfect location. It's easy to access the hotel from the airport by bus no 150 (Miami Flyer). The closest bus stop is 5th Street and it takes about 40 min from the Airport. From the bus stop there is a four-five minute walk to the hotel (6th Street and Ocean Drive). EXACT change needed for the bus (USD 2,35 on the 24 Dec 2011) because you pay by a machine on entering the bus. You can find all restaurants you need on the Ocean Drive. There are also some quite expensive bars available and at least one nightclub. The rest of Miami Beach is easily accessed by foot (at least the southern halfpart). Beaches are crowded from 12 to 4. Gay beach available at 12th street.

Unfriendly attention at the reception desk. Upon exiting the room smell. The neighborhood is very noisy, especially on the weekend. Not recommended for a long stay or to go with the family.

The Beach Paradise Hotel was exactly as depicted on the website. The double room was clean and very spacious. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

First of all, upon arrival we weren't able to park anywhere and the clerks were not able to give us any hood locations for parkig besides in the street where there are signs that read "no parking anytime". After that we found parking on our own. We booked a 1 room with two queen beds. We got two full sized beds and when we asked them about it we were told that full and queens are the same price and they were out of queens. Rats in the ceiling making noise, party people all night, and paper thin walls.

Beach Front hotel,Good service, Cozy and very clean rooms, would stay again.

I spent a night here to have a place to crash for the night and I was fairly impressed. It was nothing fancy or elegant, but it has a great location, and it's def a bargain for the buck. If your looking for a fancy hotel, this is not it... But if you want a comfortable place to stay without having to pay big, it's highly recommended. I would stay here again!

Very old and not at all nice hotel. Beds are bevelled in middle so you roll to centre of bed. T.V.'s way below par and barely working.

Avoid this place on the weekends. This is the only hotel along the avenue that's a hole in the wall. The parking is available but it sucks. Expect to be blocked in if you park overnight and wait for the staff to move the cars around you. The park along the beach is full of crazy homeless at night. The worst part of my stay was they put me in a room with the window facing the rear of the building, the worst room of the hotel! If I were to do it over again, I would pick a place in North Beach where it is quieter and nicer.

The manager was extremely kind and friendly. The hotel room was very clean and modern. During my stay there were storms on and off. The roof in our room leaked. The central air did not have controls in the room. the only way to turn it down was to close the vents, which then caused condensation and the air vent and smoke detector would leak. These are all things that can be fixed and i do believe they are in the process of renovation. The location is PERFECT!!! Right outside the door you have the best of south beach. The beach, the restaurants, the shopping. The lobby of the hotel has a little cafe with the best smelling coffee, some sandwiches and gelato.

Great location and price for our stay on a Friday. A little run down and rude front receptionist.

I initially had an issue with the original room I was given but upon informing the staff of the problem they quickly corrected the situation. The location is perfect and we had quick access to the beach and the bars/shops on ocean dr.

I stay for two nigths at this hotel. It looks horrible inside. Location is very good. I would not stay there again.

great location very modern rooms not a very modern lobby took 25 minutes to get two towels, leaking air conditioner. Men in hotel were nice and very helpful. Women not so much.

This Hotel/Motel is all about the location because the room and Hotel are sub-par. If you dont care about comfort and are just looking for somewhere to shower and sleep then this is the hotel for you but if your looking for comfort and class you'll need to go up the strip. Location and the price are what sells this hotel. If you have a few extra dollars I would suggest you to find another place..

I stayed 3 nights. After my first night I called the front desk around 930am to request that my room be cleaned first because I had company coming. The young lady informed me that wouldn't be possible. Luckily I saw one of the house keepers in the hallway. I asked her if she could possibly clean my room first. She agreed and made a note of it on her clipboard next to my room number. I left for approximately 2 hours and came back around 1130am just before my company arrived and the same lady acknowledged me as I went inside my room (she was cleaning the surrounding rooms and my room was still dirty. I frantically made my bed but still had no clean towels or fresh toilletries. My company arrived and we left for the beach and came back to the room at 6 pm....Still no towels no toilletries. Nothing had been done. So I had to get some from the desk assistant. The next morning I left for key west at 630am and came back around 930 pm that night. My room had NOT been touched. When I called the front desk to ask why she informed me that there was a "do not disturb" sign on my door. So of course I explained to her that that wasn't possible because I was gone all day. She went on to tell me that many times people accidentally close the door with the sign sticking out. Not only is that ridiculous but I didn't even have a do not disturb sign anywhere in my room much less on the door. She then "kindly" brought up towels in toilettries. The room was very decent but don't expect any type of service. I was very angry that I had to clean my own room two days in a row.

I found a strand of hair that was not mine in the hand towels two days in a row. The bed sheets had some kind of strange stains on them that looked like blood. The floors had not been cleaned well when we got there. The bathroom door did not close at all. The toilette had some stains on the inside...not sure if it wasn't cleaned right or if was stained permanently. The elevator smelt really bad...do not attempt to close the metal door since it closes by itself when you push the button to the floor you want to go to. You cannot regulate the temperature in your room so you will either be hot or cold! I will be looking to stay in another hotel next time I am in the area.

The appearance at first was scary. The lobby looked bad and not renovated at all. The elevator was just as from theme park and looked like could be used for Halloween horror nights. It's original elevator since the building was built. The room surprised us it was clean and comfortable. The bad thing it did not have air condition control so we were freezing. There were not enough towels and no towel for the feet so you have to step out on a cold floor. Make sure to have your own toiletries because all you get is soap and shampoo no conditioner or body wash. But can not expect it for the price. The shower has only half glass so the water was getting on the floor. The appearance is not bad and the sheets did not smell like in a lot of similar small hotels in sobe. I very much dislike flowery sheets and this one was white. If you are there to stay on ocean drive or the beach the location is great but if you are there for clubs it's a little further. We crashed there only for 5 hrs of sleep so it was great. For the low price is worth it ti crash there if you go clubbing. Wouldn't stay there for vacation. It has it's own pluses and minuses but you get what you pay for.

Hotel was good for the money it was old. Elevator it was from the 80's something that we notice that on Certificate of Permision it had that EXPIRE on 09/30/2007 how nice was that. NO WIFI in Rooms Only Lobby

This hotel isn't the best hotel on south beach but it's manageable. Soon as we walked in, I said "hell no"! The lobby doesn't good at all and the hallway looks bad as well....and it's smell like mildew. But when walk into the room.....wow what a big difference! The room looks great and smells ok. The location is perfect! Everthing is in walking distance and the service was wonderful. So, I said this is south beach, baby! My wife is big on quality hotels, so I asked would she come back to that hotel. She said yea because 90 percent of your time is on ocean drive having fun. All I say, don't look at the lobby or hallway but Focus on the location and cleanness of the rooms. Honestly, you will not be in there anyway.
