AIKENS LODGE - كاناب

Very close to Best Friends animal sanctuary, which is great if the reason for the trip is volunteering there. They don't allow animals though so you can't bring one for an overnight. Very small but clean, no problems with the internet. Everyone was very friendly. Basically if you're looking for a small clean nice place to stay with none of the bells and whistles (like breakfast and soft beds, although their beds are just fine), this is the place. FYI they close the lobby early at night.

I really liked Aiken Lodge. It is not a luxury hotel but it is comfy, super clean and nice. The only con that I would point out is that the front desk closes at 10pm until 7 am in the morning. I didn't know that and I think that it is something important. Also, there is a nice restaurant a right in the corner of the street, Rocking V Cafe.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room was near the back, away from the street, and it was very quiet. We stayed for two nights and we would definitely stay here again.

Aikens Lodge was the perfect place from which to visit the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion Natonal Parks. The staff was friendly and helpful and the lodge was very clean. Our only grumble would be the uncomfortable beds and thin walls allowing us to hear our rowdy neighbors late into the night. Otherwise, this was the perfect place to stay for this adventure. One very important piece of advice is that the office closes at 10:00pm so you must call them ahead of time if you will be arriving later than that.

Cute little motel with a discrete retro charm, within walking distance of good restaurants. Myself and two friends stopped there in the middle of a seven-day motorcycle trip from Dallas, Texas. We very much enjoyed our stay. As an added bonus, for a location so close to some of the greatest National Parks in the country, prices were reasonable.

The room wasn't fancy but it was large and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The place was easy to find and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Kanab is very nice town and the hotel was located in a nice environment with walking distance to nice restaurants etc. The hotel was extremely clean, nice and cozy, I can only recommend it.

Smallest places we stayed, but very very clean. It had the best shower of all.

I checked in late and the office was closed by then. However, a note was written addressing to me and I was able to self-help to get into my room without any problem. The password for the free wifi was also nicely placed on the table in the room. The next day, I went to the office to make my payment and almost forgot about the change. I was about to drive off when the lady ran out and passed me back the change of almost US$20. I was extremely touched by her honesty and professionalism in this! I would highly recommend this place for those who wish to stay in Kanab area.

The staff was very friendly & polite. The room was clean, cozy & everything worked properly. Kanab is a very small town & this hotel was right in the center of it. 1-2 block walk for restaurants, bars, banks & a old timey movie theater with one screen. I'll definately be staying here next time we go on a National Parks Tour.

I would highly recommend staying here if youre passing by for a couple nights. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean and very comfortable. The only downside I would say is that the room is a little small, but very cozy. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nicely maintained older property. Nice atmosphere, enjoyable decks for sitting out! Good location.

One of the best run hotels I have ever stayed in. Cleanest hotel, food and banks within walking distance, very family friendly. Looking forward to return

We stayed here just for one night and it was really a nice comfortable place. It is well located and it has ample options of restaurants around. The hotel staff were very friendly. The only thing missing here is that they don't provide breakfast.

This hotel is clean and friendly. However, compared with the quality of the room, it is a little bit pricy.

Clearly a motel built in the 50's. Smallish rooms, low ceiling. That is the only negative thing I can say about the Aiken's Lodge. First, the hotel is right in the middle of a neat little town. There is a theater a block away, and several eateries within walking distance. The room is exceptionally clean. They are all non-smoking. The bed comfortable. There were several groups staying, but despite many being outside the room was very quiet. Kanab is close to Zion, Bryce and the North Rim - all easy day trips.

We got a great room for a good value. The room was extremely clean. The bathroom was small, just room for a shower stall and a toilet. A spacious sink was located separately in the room. The room had a small fridge which we put to good use.

Only problem I had was the "green" lights in the room. I can't see well enough to read by the fluorescent bulbs and went to the local store and boought myself an old fashioned incandescent bulb to use so I could read in bed. The desk is unattended after 10 pm. That was not a problem to me because I arrived before 9 pm, but frequently I arrive at my destination after midnight and would have been out in the cold.

Single story, clean, neat motel with very nice desk personnel - helped us with restaurants,etc. Instead of a "name" motel, this was very pleasant in the heart of the small town.

Best hotel we stayed in on the whole trip. Close to Zion and nearby restaurants were incredible!

Aikens lodge is an older motel but has been well maintained and the interiors have been updated. We were not looking for lots of extras, just a good comfortable, clean bed and bath. We got exactly that at an excellent price. It was the cheapest stay on our trip and compared with some of the more pricey. You won't get the extra's of an upscale hotel but we were there to enjoy our trip not the hotel.

Very clean and convenient.

Our stay was very pleasant. This is an older property, but we had a 3 bedroom suite which was very clean and comfortable, as well as reasonably priced. The management was exceptionally cheerful and accomodating. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel rates are reasonable but what is wrong with the room doors? I had to almost kick the bathroom door off it's hinges to get out! The walls are paper thin so be prepared for th noise.

This is a standard US motel in Kanab, a small town near to Zion national park. We were touring in a car and stopped there for one night. Accommodation is single-storey with adequate parking outside each room. The room was simple, but comfortable. The only drawback was the small size of the room containing the shower and toilet, but for the very reasonable price I paid, I didn't expect a lot. The motel had a small, clean, warm swimming pool which was open until 10 p.m., which made for a relaxing dip after we had checked in. The pool is not long enough for people who want to do laps though. In summary, this place is great for people who want to stay for a night or two in clean, basic accommodation. For a longer stay, I would want more luxury.

the room was very nice and comfortable. However the manager/owner was very rude and unpleasant. I would not stay there again because of him and will not reccomend it to anyone.

This place is really dated and expensive for what you get--not even continental breakfast--clean enough to park for the night. Staff was fine.

Aikens Lodge is situated very well, close to souvenir shops and restaurants. The personnel was very welcoming and nice! would definitely visit again!

This is a nice, family owned and operated hotel. It is older construction with very large windows and neat, rather funky tiled showers with high enough shower heads that tall folks don't have to squat down to shampoo their hair. Would stay here again.

We have stayed just one night using this motel as a transition stop on our month long trip. We were satisfied and I recommend this motel if you need to stay in the area and you are looking for unexpensive, simple but clean place with good service.

We were hopeful to have moderate accomodations but upon arriving and throughout our stay we soon realized that we can have a great vacation even on a budget. The room was great, easy to have conversation with other travelers, great location to local eateries, and friendly service. This was a great find.

My daughter and I stayed at Aikens Lodge while we were volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The location was great for our needs, and Kanab is a charming town with some very good restaurants within walking distance off Aikens. The room was exceptionally clean, but offered no frills. Soap and shampoo were provided, but no other bathroom amenities. There was no "Do not disturb" sign, so we were surprised by housekeeping one morning. Also the layout of the room was a little strange, and the shower was very small. But again - very clean. My only real complaint is that there are not enough electrical outlets in the room. Had to unplug a lamp to charge my laptop, and another lamp to charge my phone. The gals in the front office were very friendly and gave us great suggestions on where to eat. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean, clean, clean!
