Location is great room size is acceptable. Unfortunately there is no separate bathroom. The wireless Internet in the room does not work. Hotel staff is helpful with great english. But do not take 6001 from hotel to the airport. There are too many ppl waiting for this bus and I can't get on one after waiting for 1.5 hrs.... Grab a taxi it is around kwr40000 for normal and kwr90000 foe big car

Everythg is near perfect except when it rain , the rain drop sound dropping on the rooftop is really v noisy till can't able to z . The bed sheet is abut dirty too but overall it's the best location

We stayed in this hotel for 9 days last Dec 2011. The location of the hotel is very close to the dongdaemun night shopping market , train station and namsam tower. The hotel amenities is good, staffs are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for families and for those who are looking for affordable and convenient place in Seoul.

Room is quite small, but it is close to train (underground) station, with couples of large shopping malls opened till late night. Airport bus #6001 in front of the hotel.

Friendly reception staff who speaks decent english. Conveniently located with convenient stall down the road and train station 5min walk away. Might like to request for high floor as the noise from the traffic can be disruptive. Note: For twin sharing bedroom, the hotplate heating pad for cooking has been removed. Overall, would definitely return.

The Co-Op Residence represents very good value for money. It is a simple and convenient way to explore Seoul. The hotel offers small but comfortable rooms withing close proximity to the subway station and shopping precinct. The Airport bus #6001 stops just in front of the hotel, making the 1.5 hour trip to and from the airport a breeze.

This hotel located at Dongdamum which is a good location for shopping & eating. It only takes 5 mins to nearest subway and going to Myeongdung is only 2 stations away from Dongdamum. This is a good choice for convenient transportation. Airport bus stops in front of the hotel. Other than that, I don't think it is a comfortable place to stay in. The curry smells from the corridor makes me uncomfortable. All rooms are provided a small kitchen, Cooking smells are very strong along the corridor. The bathroom is very small and the shower is not enclosed, it makes all wet in the bathroom. The service of the receptionist is very good. I have to thank the counter receptionist(night shift) who is a kind & nice lady. She helped me a lot for the korean language translation. I was very disappointed to have breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant (charged 6,600won for one person) and the food is really bad with not much choice.

Location of the hotel is excellent, lots of shopping malls and restaurants nearby, subway is just within 5 mins walk from hotel. Room is nice, clean and tidy, but the washroom is a bit small.

It's not like a luxury hotel with all the trimmings, but it's still pretty good - free internet, clean rooms, basic en-suite bathroom (shower), decent sized TV. Great location near the Subway station. I'd stay again.

Uljiro Co-op sits just a short walk from Dongdaemun Cultural Museum station, which is an interchange station, so it is very easy to get to anywhere in Seoul. There's Dongdaemun market just across the road, and endless choices of food and convenience stores. The rooms are moderately sized, comfortable and clean, although nothing fanciful. Western Co-op Residence, which is just a bit further down, is a little more modern and roomy, for about another 30-50% more of the price

Super good location ! Very convenience for shopping ! The bed is ok, quite comfortable but of course not gd as 5 star hotel. 2 things are not gd as i cam see1) Toile is too small and old , 2) no wifi in the room, only available in lobby area.

This hotel is barebones and no fuss but it's clean, the stafff speaks good English (and very helpful!) comfortable and located in the Dongdaemun area of Seoul which is surrounded by night markets and fashion houses. The airport bus stops right in front of the hotel and it has easy subway access. If you want a more upscale location, however, I would suggest Myeongdong which has a more varied nightlife than Dongdaemun. Nonetheless, if Myeongdong hotels are more expensive, Dongdaemun is not a bad location as it's only 3 subway stops away from Myeongdong.

Only one comment - Really very convenient for those who only want shopping in Dongdamen. When you got loads of clothes on hand, simply walk back to hotel and then go out again.

Very good location to stay with couple of minutes walk from MRT and near to all Shopping malls..to shop until you drop....i will come back again in my future~~

Uljiro is a good choice for discerning travellers to Seoul. Airport bus 6001 stops just right infront of the hotel. Convenient indeed. I was there with my folks and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We were there early and we only got to check in just before 2. But it was perfectly fine as we took the time to walk around and familiarise our surroundings. Mins to the subway and a Lotteria just a min away for those with midnight hunger pangs as its open 24Hs. Room is smaller than usual but its functional and convenient. It resembles more like a student hostel but thats a plus point as it comes with a kitchenette and a microwave. Good for those quick heatup of meals. Fresh water, both hot and cold is available at a dispenser for every floor. Those who are keen on hot drinks or even your piping hot ramen. However, there is also an electric kettle for those who want to boil their own water. Overall, pleasant stay, good location, mins to the shopping centres around. Do explore around as there are many good eateries around that offer good korean food!

this hotel very good location , good service , airport shuttle bus stop in front of the hotel so you can take bus number 6001 from Inchon Airport to this hotel ...Staff very nice they can speak english very well..

This is our first trip to korea, and we chosen this hotel due to budget, location and ease of access. From Incheon airport, just board the bus 6001 and it will stop in front of the hotel. The bus service is commendable as it will announce the next station in advance in various language, so it is very easy to get there. The hotel is location is just perfect, you walk to DongDaMun MRT station and from the MRT it takes you to the Gyeongbokkong palace , myeongdong and other places. The biggest excitement of our stays is we get to shop at DongDaMun night city shopping till wee morning, just within walking distant from this hotel. In terms of food, there are at least 3 shops of 24 hours restaurants located at opposite and besides this hotel and convenience shop GS25 is available within same row. In addition, there are many choices of local food behind those malls at DongDaMun also the streets behind this hotel. Room wise, as earlier reviews, there are small and not so much of surprise. The room is clean and the view is good and thus we feel very comfortable during our stays. If i were to be picky, the only complaints are (1), i find the aircond in our room is due for maintenance, (2) in the toilet, there are water dripping from ceiling due to leakage from upstair. In conclusion, we like this place very much and will consider to stay again in this place in our next visit.

The hotel was an excellent find for the price range. 5 minutes from the shopping market halls in Dongdaemun. The 6015 bus from Incheon drops you outside hotel. Room although small, has everything you need. Desk staff very helpful. Booked our DMZ trip for us. Will stay the again.

The hotel is quite new, might have recently refurbished. mum and I love hte locations Plus the cleanliness of d room. having a kitchenette is a gd plus point. Helps us when we want to rest at hotel & have a quick n easy dinner.

Highly recommended. This hotel is very convenience. It's located at the dongdaemun area, shopping district apart from myeongdong. The hotel is only 5 mins walk to the famous Hello am&pm, dootas, and many more. Shopping malls closes at 4am thus u can still do your shopping after all your visiting to galleries, palaces and etc. Other than that there are a lot of eateries around the area. try to explore more you will find quite a lot of surprises. There is a 24 hours convenience store within 50m from the hotel and also a fast food chain store across the road. This hotel is highly recommended. The airport transport stops right in front of the hotel. Subway is just 5 mins walk. The only set back was the room is rather small but for me and my husband we are ok as we don't stay in the room whole day, Most of the time we are out.

The location is really good. All fasion wholesell malls are nearby which open overnight. Money Exchange stores are there as well which have better rate than banks. 3 subway lines at the nearest station, and those 3 lines are across most of the slighseeing spots directly. Price is really low, but certainly in return, the condition of the room is a trade off. Every small room, poor bed! No wifi in the room but in the lobby.

In the heart of centre distric. The most convenient location for fashion buyers to Dongdaemun and tourists to anywhere. 5 mins walking to Metro station. Serval restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. Staff very nice and speak English quite well. Not a problem for communication. 2 PC with internet in the lobby.

Me and my wife were traveling by foot and uses public transport in seoul - how easy and convenient it was at uljiro coop. 3 minutes walk to nearest subway dongdaemon history stn. also very nearby to malls and shops. when we were there, they are constructing a historical museum within 4 minutes walk from the hotel and ought its gonna be a must see attraction when it completes. I will definitely stay here again ( i doubt it as air asia offers lots of other places to travel : )) and recommend to all. hands down to value for money. remember guys, travel smart!

Very convenient to go from incheon airport.take bus 6001.near to shopping spot.shop close at 5am. 5 min walk to subway. Room quit small, but it's ok as i spend most of my time outside.Better book online as it is cheaper & to avoid dispointment.

Just some important updates to the previous comments made by other reviewers. The airport bus to take which stop just infront of the Co-op is 6001 and costs 14000 won. Please note that if your fight arrive after 10. 30pm there will be no more airport bus service except for KAL buses wich is 15000 won and brings you to City hall area from which you need to get a cab, or you get a cab from the airport itself. Even with a translated address to co-op, the taxi driver still have problems, so better arrive in the morning or afternoon. The rooms are good ,clean and service is good. Of course the size is miniscule especially the toilet. But nothing can beat the location, especially convenient as the subway that is 5 min away is a interchange so many lines cross here at the Dondaemun History and Culture Station and shopping and food is abundant.

Spent 3 nights in co-op residence, Pros: Location of hotel is less than 3 mins from the subway. Airport limousine service 6001 to Gimpo & Incheon just outside the hotel. Value for money if not a picky person as room is rather small esp the bathroom. Quite a number a eating plcs around. There's also a 24hr lotteria right opposite. Shopping just across the streets. Cons: Double bed is a bit small for 2 pax, pillow rather soft and should have 2 blankets instead. Room smells of cigarette smoke. Don't try calling the reception from room as they don't pick up the call.

Very conveniently located at Dongdaemun. Right opposite the hotel is a Lotteria fast food chain and next to that is the Dongdaemun culture and history park subway station. Further up is AM/PM, Migloire, doota etc which are open to 4:30 am. Very convenient location for shopping. Airport limousine bus brings you up to the front of the hotel and you can catch one back to airport from the same bus stop. Rooms are very small and bathroom is very tiny. Bed is small. There's a small kitchenette which allows you to microwave food. There's no stove provided though. Reception is generally very friendly except for one encounter where I had difficulties with the PC accessing internet. Staff refuse to do anything (eg. try rebooting the machine which I can't do because the OS is in Korean) except to say that it's down and to come back some other time. My kettle is spoilt and frontdesk informed that they have no replacement (too bad, I supposed). Only one towel is provided even though I've booked for 2 persons. Got to call the frontdesk for extra towels. Apart from the location and price, there's little other reason to go for this hotel.

The hotel location is very convenient and easily accessible. But room is abit small and the bed is just next to the toilet/bathroom door. It seems like there is a sign of water chokage as the water does not flow down fast enough during bath time. About 1.5cm of water will be accumulated during bath time. The front desk staff can speak english and is quite helpful. However for other staff whom i met in the lift and around the room levels , they are smileless and no greetings.

The airport express (Bus 6001) just stops right at the door of the Co-op. This is good especially if you are here on a shopping trip and carrying heavy luggages. The location of the hotel is near the Dongdaemun Sports and Culture Park subway lines (3 of them!), a short 3-5 mins walk away. There are few breakfast places, but you can walk around the block and discover small cafes serving sandwiches. Plenty of cafes in the nearby shopping malls which are walkable. There are also plenty of eateries across the road for dinner. The hotel room is small with a small kitchen that you can boil water and heat up food in a microwave. There is supposed to be an induction heater but we didn't see it. Didnt ask for it as we ate out most of the time. The room was kept clean and tidy but at some point of our 7 nights stay, the cleaning lady left things like the tissue paper and toilet paper rolls on the tables instead of refilling them. The room is really small and cosy. We took a twin room and one of the beds was so near the toilet bowl that you can really hear what is going on. Internet access is free - wifi is available in the lobby and you can even use the computers in the lobby to print stuff for free. Overall, it is quite a reasonable place to stay in for the price we paid for. I would recommend my friends to stay there if they are on a budget and want reasonable rooms.

Very satisfy with this hotel. booking thru hotels.com also is easy and no problem with the reservation at all. let me summarise what great about it ! The hotel location !! 1. The airport bus 6001 stop in front of the hotel. 2. The nearest subway Dongdaemun History culture park station which is on right side of the hotel is just 5 min walk. 3. the subway station is also a transfer station for line 2,4 and 5. so it is so convenient to go to other famous tourist place. 4. nearby the hotel have famous shopping mall like Doota, Migliore and Hello apm which open till midnight. dongdaemun undergound sport shopping also nearby. The Hotel Service and Room 1. receptionist can speak english and mandarin. 2. can leave luggage after check out. 3. free ethernet to use in the room. so bring your own laptop. they also have 2 pc at the reception areas for guest to use. 4. Room service ( change towel, clean up the room ) is everyday. 5. Free refil of cold and hot water dispenser. 6. bathroom is clean. comes with cold and hot water. 7. microwave, electic kettle and induction cooker is available. 8. can borrow international converter or plug just pay deposit 10.000 won which can be refund after you return it. note : don't take subway to this hotel if you have heavy luggage. as it does not have elevator.

I didn't expect the room to be so small. For the price we paid i didn't expect to stay at such a small and cramp room. The double bed was more of a super-single bed rather than a queen sized one. The bathroom was super small. The shower, basin, and toilet bowl were just less than a step away from each other. There's no place for a shower curtain so every time we showered, the toilet bowl would be wet. The room provided us with a kettle which cannot boil any water. The power tripped when we tried to use it. There was only mineral water bottles provided on the first day of our stay but thank God there's a water dispenser right outside our room. There's free usage of computer with internet provided at the small lobby and some of the keyboard buttons were not working like the "@" so in the end i couldn't send out any emails. I wouldn't have stayed in this hotel if i have done any research on the hotels in Seoul. All thanks to my friend i ended up staying there. I would rather stay in the co-op western residence which is less than 5 mins away. It's room is almost 2 times bigger and it has a more proper lobby with sofa seats. OMG at least we had the LCD tv.

房間有冷氣機,但是問櫃檯人員為什麼不能開冷氣,竟然回答,因為飯店的規定,只有在6月,7月,8月天氣熱的時候才會提供冷氣,叫我們自己開窗戶！！所以怕熱的人6月以後再去住吧！不然沒有冷氣！櫃台人員只會說英文,用中文無法溝通,要去住的人一定要會說英文哦！地點離東大門doota很近,五分鐘走路！

因為是商業公寓，所以房間大小並不是很大，房間內部沒什麼裝潢，但夠放兩個24吋的行李箱打開，基本備品都有(吹風機、洗髮、沐浴乳、毛巾浴巾等、無牙膏牙刷)，有小廚房(冰箱、微波爐、快煮壺、基本碗盤組)。最棒的是地點，飯店旁邊就有很多家民間換錢所，過馬路到對面東大門逛街處只要5分鐘，即使逛到很晚也不用再搭計程車，直接可以走回飯店。附近餐廳和小吃也都開到很晚，逛到半夜也不怕餓肚子。一天一人的住宿費約1800元，若以逛街血拼為目的的旅人，這裡是很推薦的住宿地點!
