The hotel needs maintenance, not major things, just minor things. Sofa sleeper in room was really bad. The frame supporting the mattress had x wiring between the cross frame members. Almost unbearable to sleep on. The arms of the sofa were dirty from years of use without effectively cleaning. The lamp shade was broken and stained. Like I said, nothing major, just alot of minor stuff.

The room was just OK. The bed linens were bad. One thin sheet, no blanket at all. The bedspread was supposed to be the blanket. Yuck. The Travelodge just down the block was only $85 per night and, cleaner and better. Beds at least had sheet and blankets. Better off staying there.

good stay--rooms are a bit old

Hotel was not as nice for the money we paid, but it was alright otherwise. Likely won't stay again, regardless. Front desk staff were very friendly. Cleaning staff gave us some grumpy looks in the morning for some reason. TV signal in our room was very bad. Shower had very low pressure and it took the hot water a very long time to reach the room.

Service was excellent. Staff was attentive and professional. They handled a large graduation crowd during breakfast with proficiency. Room was clean and comfortable. It appeared to be an older hotel that had recently been remodeled. Overall, "well done!".

Everything about this hotel was good. I felt it was a quality experience from the friendly check-in, clean and attractive rooms, good breakfast, and very good location to all attractions of St. Augustine

This was a quality hotel in a convenient location. The room was clean, the staff very friendly, and the free breakfast better than most. The only negative was that the breakfast area was slammed at 9 a.m., and the poor "Chief Cook and Bottle Washer" was overwhelmed. More space and extra help is recommended.

Many of the hotels in the historic area have problems with flooding, and the rooms often smell musty. Country Inn & Suites had no issues with flooding in their parking lot (though it was raining while we were there and other areas had flooding) and the hotel was very clean and there was no musty odor. Yay!

room spacious and clean .we had no phone in the room and were not told at check in.breakfast was ok good location to all attractions

Clean, breakfast was good and well tended by staff and front desk very helpful!

The dining room could have used more seating.

The hotel is just your standard, run of the mill Hotel in a high tourist area. What makes the hotel is the staff. They are kind, caring and very genuine. I would go to this hotel for the staff only.

The afternoon receptionist was very helpful. I would have liked to be closer to the downtown area. For the price, reasonable value. The surrounding neighborhood, so,so.

Very pleased with the facility, and the staf was very freindly and helpful. COuld not ask for a better interaction with the people at the front desk.

We enjoyed the hotel. Close to near by attractions... staff very helpful and friendly. Helped us with transportation to train. Breakfast was awesome and Otto was awesome, helpful and very attentive. Great complimentary breakfast. Internet was not working so that was a bummer, but they are fixing it.

It was a little dated, but clean, comfortable, and relatively close to all of the tourist attractions. I would recommend it!

The only thing I think needs to be done is replacement of some soiled furniture. Everything else was very pleasant.

Location average, rooms and staff below average, breakfast average...not what we expected. The only positive part of the experience was the young man serving breakfast, everyone else in the hotel was not at all enthusiastic to help with anything! The room had mold stains on the ceiling, and you had to wait forever to get any hot water in the sink. Location is not walking distance to historic part of St. Augustine. Do not recommend this place at all.

Little or no housekeeping...Had to beg for toilet paper and kleenx

The breakfast was top-notch, and varied a little day-to-day. Free cookies in the lobby made every night end on a high note. The only negatives with our stay was a too-hard bed (which is generally a universal hotel problem) and a bathroom vent that hadn't been dusted in a while (it sucked in air instead of blowing so this wasn't an issue for us). It's located fairly close to many downtown attractions and restaurants and the courtesy shuttle was quick with the pick-ups and travel times. Great hotel!

We stayed up 2 of the 4 nights because the walls are paper thin. Saturday night our first night stay, the room next door 316 had people who were up until 3:00, yes we did complain and yes the front desk tried, but we literally feld we were in the room with the people, we could hear EVERY word, not just mumbling. Then Monday night different people, same room next door, same thing, up all night with the neighbors, could hear word per word. Never will stay at this hotel again, never....

Very happy with our stay. The breakfast was good but places to sit did not match the demand although we were able to sit together (4 of us) after a few minutes wait. However this is not unusual in busy hotels it did not detract from our satisfaction with the stay.

the hotel it self was ok over priced for what you get. they didn'r have a microwave and refridgerator that we were to get the were very cold and rude when you ask a question they ignored you and or were rude and sharp not helpful or friendly could careless if you were happy with they stay or not I will never stay there again

We enjoyed our stay. Our 1st room didn't have hotwater & we were quickly moved to another room. Staff very obliging & friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This hotel is near everything in the historic district. Clean and great breakfast!

Very clean, friendly, good location.

We had a handicapped suite that worked perfectly for my 92 year old mom. Breakfast room was very nice with a good variety of food. Love the cookies.

No pot in the coffee maker. The hot (?) water might have hit 80 degress. Beware of mattresses with an added pad. It was a little rough on my back.They advertise Wi-Fi. I couldn't find it.This is the first hotel I ever stayed at that did not promote businesses in the immediate area for dining or shopping. The Mexican restaraunt directly across the street deservidly so gets high ratings on Google. On the plus side, it had the best cable tv selection I've ever seen.

The first room had a musty smell, there was no microwave or fridge to store anything, the location and breakfast was awesome!

The people that work in every facet of the hotel WERE AMAZING! EVERY ONR I ENCOUNTERED WAS QUITE FRIENDLY AND HAD EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

It appeared our room had been recently updated. We had a suite which was very clean and nice. The bed was very comfortable. We like the homey touches of this chain - fresh cookies in the lobby, coffee, etc. We had checked other hotels in the area and found this one to give us the most room and comfort for the money.

room smelled musty. room needed updating, rug was not so clean. sheets were clean bed was comfortable.
