We stayed 3 nights over the weekend and had a great time. The hotel was very clean and the king size beds are very comfortable. For the price per night it was a great deal.

I loved this place. From the friendly staff at the front desk, to the clealiness of our room, and the breakfast and staff that kept it stocked constantly. All around a great experience.

My family will definitely stay at Wingate anytime there is a family getaway. Everything from staff, to room, to continental breakfast, was awesome. This is the place you would want to stay.

Excellent customer service. Spacious room with desk. Very comfortable.

The receptionist at the front desk was very rude upon arrival. Between her and the lady working the continental breakfast who was also rude to another hotel guest because he didn't realize one of the waffle makers was out of service. She spoke to him like he was a child. Besides the rude staff this is a clean hotel at a low rate.

The staff was extremely courteous and the room was immaculate. The motel was very well maintained.

Services was excellent and team was great as well

I enjoyed how clean every thing was. this fast was friendly and always around for help. I really enjoyed my stay and I would definitely be back.

very friendly people, clean rooms. one of the better places to stay in destin

very nice, good hot tub, good breakfast. very close to all the noise of the city, but off the main road enough to be very quiet...very good location!

Very nice and clean hotel. The young lady at the check in desk was not very friendly, and I got the feeling that they didn't like the fact that I booked through Hotels.com. It also seemed to be more expensive through Hotels.com, because when she printed my receipt, the price showed $139.99 but she quickly took the paper back from me and scratched that number out. My actual cost was $199.99. I'm not sure exactly what happened there, but it was odd.

Quiet, quality, and very accommodating to my request for some additional time to check out. Will be glad to stay there again! Front desk was helpful upon check-in and check-out.

Room was great especially for the price. Would stay again. Only small compliant would be that some of the staff were not very nice. The lady at the desk upon check out seemed very bothered when I checked out.

everything was great, no problems at arrival, breakfast, wifi or room.

You won't go wrong with this hotel for the price. A definite 5 rating.

The hotel was very nice and clean and convenient to restaurants/shopping in the area. We also walked around the area and felt quite safe. I would stay here again.

Guest clerk was very unprofessional. He made insults about the state that we were from! Other than that it was a nice place. Too far from beach if you are staying in the summer though.

Easy to find . Great hotel . Sometimes hard to turn off highway to enter and not close to the water. The staff was outstanding !

Great, everything was great

Went for a two day trip to get some Christmas shopping done and a little R&R. I could not have chosen a better hotel! The front desk staff was great, very friendly and helpful! Our room was big and clean, the beds were SOOOOO comfortable and it had a small fridge which was great. Also, after spending a little more money at the outlets than I anticipated, the free breakfast was plus and they also had fresh baked cookies, which were a fantastic touch after a long day of shopping!

As a person in the business, I found Wingate a great property. They understand hospitality and the cleanliness was exceptional. Joe, the front desk manager brings home the hospitable attitude of old.

We thought the pictures on the site were deceiving because they looked like the location was on the waterfront. The hotel was pretty empty as its off season. Our room overlooked the roof. We left mid morning and returned to take a nap. When we woke up there was a printed card that was slipped under out door saying that there was no maid service to clean our rooms after 1pm and to pick up towels at the front desk. There was no "clean my room" sign to put out when we left. At a little after 2pm, i asked them tonplease clean our room, which they did. After we came back after an early dinner, I thanked the gal at the front desk and told her that I appreciated the service. She very firmly told me me that after 1pm there is no maid service. The day we were going to leave there were no baggage carts available and we inquired at the front desk where we might find one. The reply (this was another front desk person) said if they weren't there there then none were available. No offer to call our room when one was available and she could see where they were in the lobby. I am a frequent business and leisure traveler. I wouldn't stay there again. I expect better service at the Wyndham.

Great hotel, less than 10 minutes from 3 of the courses I played. Great eateries within walking distance, as well.

It was a very nice hotel. I just wish it was right on the beach.

The location was great. Off a sidestreet ,quiet area. Staff was very cordial.Hotel was very clean, room was large and comfortable bed.Better than Hampton we last stayed in. Right out of the driveway is a sideroad that goes over to McDonalds where there is a red light making it easier to get in and out on hwy 98. The hotel had snacks in the late afternoon and and one day baked cookes. The price was right for retired people on a budget, also saw a number of business people in hotel. Will definately stay here again when we are in the area.
