The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel slightly out on a limb but we had a lovely room overlooking the bay> Would definietly stay there again

Very comfortable Bed Room. Cl;ean and spacious. Fabulous scenery around the hotel. Tremendous breakfast, one of the best I have had in a hotel. Excellent service in Breakfast room. Cleaners abrupt.

The Hotel is very nice in general. The food is good, as is the service in the restaurant and bar. However, there was no water in the taps until 7.30 am when we woke on the first morning there. The hotel said the Co Council must have cut off the water supply. ( They should have had a reserve supply, should they not?) Although the room was very comfortable, it wasn't serviced on the day before we left, so we had to complain. There were no clean towels and no toilet rolls and the room hadn't been cleaned when we returned to the hotel at 8 pm. Having complained, we received clean towels and toilet paper and toiletries. It is such a pity that all of this happened as it is a very nice hotel, and we are prepared to give it another try.

t My family have been staying here for years and there has always been a great ambience about the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful although some of our party were disappointed with the food in the bar and when busy staff forgot to bring mustard to the table altogether. Range of gluten free meals could be well improved , no cereal suitable (premier inns at airports have gluten free cereals) and the porridge I got both mornings wasn't cooked so I couldn't eat it, so I couldn't recommend to my Coeliac friends. Pity when so many people are either wheat free or gluten free that chefs don't make the simple alterations to dishes i.e .use cornflour. Leisure facilities excellent you may consider allowing mums with buggies into veiwing area obviously with the wheels protected, much safer than a mum with covered shoes carrying a baby in to see her other children and husband in the pool. Please accept these observations as constructive criticism sometimes it's the little things that matter most!!

Our bedroom was the smallest we have ever encountered! The bed took up thebiggest part of the room, the room could only accomodate 1 locker/night stand, and my husband had to lift out a chair to allow him access to the bed. That was the only downside to our stay, we were very happy with everything else and we will stay there again, but in a proper size bedroom.

Just back from 2 nights at the Raddisson Blu in Sligo and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Negatives - one of the lifts was out of order and stayed out of order for most of our visit Like most leisure pools in southern ireland, staff insist on patrons using a swimming cap which they charge a few euro on. Not a deal breaker but personally I don't see the point. Positives - friendly polite staff. Clean hotel and rooms. Convenient location.

We had a lovely stay in the Radisson Blu Sligo. The breakfast buffet was very impressive and the food in the bar was tasty too. Service in both breakfast and bar area was very prompt and the staff were courteous. Reception staff very nice and efficient too. We were attending a function in the hotel on the Sunday and the only down side was that the ladies public toilets, (off the bar area) serving the function room, were not maintained during the event. All toilets ran out of toilet paper and the eintire bathroom could have done with a good clean. Normally hotel bathrooms are checked on a regular basis, but it didn't look as if these toilets had been checked at all.

We only had a brief stay, but it was very enjoyable. The hotel and surrounding area was beautiful. The view was magnificent. I would definitely stay there again.

As a frequent visitor to sligo this was my first time staying at the radisson ,I checked in early ,no problem with guy on desk ,absolute first class ,had a buisness meeting ,then few drinks ,relaxed in the most comfortable bed ,breakfast was absolute top drawer and chef on stand by to make all requirements asked for .First class hotel and i would defintley recommend it ,shines above all the others i have stayed in .

The Hotel was very relaxing, spacious and clean modern rooms with very nice shower and bathroom facilities. The pool and spa were excellent and the breakfast was of a very high standard. There are some very nice Irish pubs and lovely restaurants near by.

We had a fantastic time at the raddison. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Hotel was spotless and staff were very helpful and nice . Couldnt recommend this hotel enough for a relaxing chilled out break. We will return :)

Myself and my partner stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel was vey nice and clean. Location was lovely even though it rained all weekend. Staff were very nice and the hotel bar was very relaxing with excellent bar food. Nice small gym and spa there also. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had in hotels. It was very fresh for a buffet and well stocked. The only negative I have to say about this hotel is that the so called double bed was nothing of the sort. It was 2 single beds zipped together which left a gap during the night. Very uncomfortable and disappointing. It really lets an otherwise excellent hotel down badly.

We found the hotel very comfortable.The food was top class and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It was fantastic value and would definetly stay here again if in the area.

Room was unbearably warm, air conditioning did not work, but made a constant noise like a kettle boiling. Very loud noises of gushing water and dodgy pipes throughout the night coming from the ceiling. Even if people are having showers at 3am, I should not be able to hear it. Was given a room that was attached to another with a door. With all the noise (groans and moans), I felt like I was in the bed beside the couple next door. The breakfast was excellent though and I suspect other rooms are better than room 310.

We stayed last weekend 1st October. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Accommodation was very good, apart from the fact that the bathroom was not cleaned or towels replaced during our 3- day stay. Food was excellent, and next time I would speak to staff at reception regarding the towel/bathroom situation.

No help with the baggage upon arrival, had to find trolley to carry my baggage to my room, Reception not very helpfull, Room very tired looking, Furnishings stained, room only fitted out for one person when there were two us, had to request extra towels etc. Room furniture very worn, looked like a cheap lot obtined from an old UK Premier Inn. Overall appearance of hotel was very tired, decorations eg curtains in Dinning room were frayed, plaster had fallen from around the wall of the windows to leave esposed cracks etc. Bar area small, the staff not very competent, could not make a proper coktail from their own Radisson menu, left out the alcohol,and were not very pleasant when confronted about the problem. Not a very enjoyable experience and I for one would not stay there again far better hotels and cheaper within the Sligo area.

Staff very friendly. Breakfast very good. Bar prices are reasonable for drinks and food. Only downfall, there was no entertainment put on in the bar on the Saturday or Sunday night.

In the evening (well at least the Monday I was staying) food was only available in the bar area (main restaurant was shut) and could be described as 'bar food', it was relatively expensive, took ages to come and the service was not good. I couldn't see a healthy option on it, all burgers and deep fried stuff! Also why is the A/C left on during the winter in the bedrooms as default?, i forgot to switch it off and woke up pretty cold during the night. with global warming and cost considerations maybe it should be left to the customer to switch on the A/C if they choose, rather than it already be on when you enter the room?

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the radisson This is an excellent hotel on the road out to beautiful rosses point. We would highly recommend a stay here

This hotel offers value for money and the service is excellent. The staff are couteous and helpful. As part of a wedding party the organisation and service offered was faultless. The area of County Sligo/ Leitrim is beautiful and the hotel is ideal for use as a base.

Location and ambience is quiet, beautiful and yet convenient for nearby Sligo town and its wonderful cafes and music bars. Staff outstandingly helpful and efficient, sorting out a couple of minor housekeeping issues speedily and willingly & providing excellent service. Comfortable beds, good parking, quality wine and exceptionally good food at breakfast and in the bar. Very good value and will be a definite choice for our next visit to this delightful area.

Room was nice, but the bed clothes were old and had stains.

Hotel is located in a quiet area on the Rosses Point Road, the grounds are very well maintained with ample car parking with access to the hotel with a childs buggy pain free.

My family and I are just back from the Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo. The hotel was a big disappointment, the non-smoking room that we asked for was allocated to us however this room had been use by smokers, stale air , cigarette burns on the table. The cleanliness of the room was poor, stains on the carpet, walls and ceiling. The quality and choice of food on the menu both in the bar and restaurant was poor and over priced. If you are considering this hotel think again. I would not recommend staying at this hotel and this experience has put me off all Radisson Hotels. Our package was breakfast inclusive, however when checking out the hotel receptionist was trying to charge for a childs breakfast!! Finally, the staff generally were insipid and did not present a warm welcome as I have received in many other hotels. Disappointing, poor quality of service, certainly not value for money.

Planned this hotel due to the name and it's reputation. Hotel was not up to our expectations at all. Drains stopped up even after requesting assistance. Assistance was brought but did not solve the problems after 2 attempts. No further assistance was given. Problem is we had a wheelchair occupant and with that we needed a well draining shower etc., to avoid falls. Lights in bathroom burnt out and attempt made to fix but did not come back to check or re-fix. So incredibly disappointed.

First impression was not so good. Trees at front door dying but rest of the garden area very nice. Reception area had a stained carpet and there was a stale odour. No noticeable floral arrangements in sight . Receptionist was lovely and gave us good information and a room overlooking the sea after we requested it. The bedroom was small but had avery nice view from the window. Thin pillows and we had to ask for a few more. plentiful tea and coffee, all of a good standard. Spa was pleasant but treatments expensive so we declined having these. Room was very quiet despite in house entertainment. The restuarant was quite a surprise and we had an excellent dinner, service was equally as good and breakfast the following morning of a similar standard. We did provide our feedback to the receptionist as we were checking out so hopefully the hotel will act on it. We only had an overnight and were more impressed than we initially thought we would be. Initial impressions are so important and set the scene for what follows, thankfully the reality was better than first impressions. We would happily return but we would be better impressed if these comments were acted upon. our scoring for this hotel reflects the condition of the reception area.
