My only complain is the parking. There would be planty of parking if the hotel had a policy to only allow hotel guests to park in the lot. If they do, it is not enforced. The parking lot is pretty much used like a public beach access. Over half the cars in the lot did not have hotel parking tags. Oh and the pool was a little cloudy. Now they have a delicious breakfast! Room was very nice! My mini fridge was not working and they replaced it very quickly! The business center does not have access to a printer. Over all Great Service!

Had a great time! Room had a fridge, microwave, plenty of ice on our floor. Breakfast was free and nice! Very satisfied.

Extremely pricey for the quality of the room. The first room we got stunk to high heaven of cat urine. After we complained, they gave us a new room which was decent. Also, there were no comforters for the beds. Instead they provided blankets which were kept in the closet, which we had to exchange because it was full of stains. The only positive was the beds which were extremely comfortable and the location. I will never stay there again.

Rooms were not overly price, walking distance from the beach. 2 complimentary Drinks at the bar per guest. We would definitely stay again.

The room was very comfortable. You could see a few upkeep issues in the carpet being pulled up and old bathroom but they did a good job getting the sand up every day and considering how busy the lobby was, the hotel was relatively quiet. Pet friendly---but you have to take your pet with you whenever you leave the room... Most of the local restaurants were happy to have him outside :)

I think the hotel was adequate for the price. Breakfast selection was reasonable, and I enjoyed the view. The pool was great condition and access to the beach was great. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing that bothered me was that the carpet had a musty smell.

Overall stay at La Copa Inn met my expectations-check-in was quick, room was comfortable and clean, pool was nice(heated), and hotel has easy access to the beach.

Fair, our door was left open by maid service we think, but nothing was missing. We had read reviews of this issue so we had left no valuables in room. Rooms are run down in need of remodeling. Location is good

I had called two days for a room on the bottom,because we take our bikes to our room and use the back door. We have never had a problem,but this time they said NO. And I know they had rooms because they offered it to the people next to us and they said "NO". We stay often with you just, check our history. it was sad that she didn't even try to check just said NO you could tell she could care less no customer service. SAD.

Great stay overall. Wish bar stayed open longer (closed about 8pm). Half the time maids didn't show up until 2pm or later which was inconvenient as we would be out all morning and get back while they were cleaning. But friendly staff, nice amenities and great location. We have stayed here before and will again.

Great location, good service and clean. Very noisy in hallway. Food selection and quality poor.

I had the king jacuzzi suite, and it was PERFECT. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the staff was accomodating and helpful, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. If I ever go back to Padre, I'll definitely be staying at La Copa! I spent the next two nights at The Pearl due to a high school band trip I was chaperoning, and La Copa was MUCH more comfortable. I felt indulged. It was simply perfect.

Bed , floor very clean and well made comfort 5+ now the bathroom I saw a hair on vanity and a hair on toilet seat the rim of toilet was DIRTY I had to leave and go out to buy clorox and wipes to clean it myself but the beds are very VERy comfortable and sheets are clean!!! Staff was very friendly:-)

Everything was good, my wife like the mattress but it was to hard for my comfort. I woke up with a back ache. Other than that everything was good.

Hotel looks very tired and worn. The pics are kinda misleading. The decor is pretty dated and so are the bathrooms. Needs work to feel like a good hotel. Room always felt kinda damp. Breakfast was less than satisfying and not much variety at all. Pool was tiny and was always crowded. The only positive was the location. won't recommend

Music DJ by the pool was so good. Nice experience it made the pool side feel like my back yard. It was so much fun.But the breakfast not so great :( limited options

In overall the hotel is great n beautiful. First day we stayed its was horrible. The bed was broken n worn out broken we woke up with bad back pains n headaches.we tried to change rooms but since it was booked we had to wait till the next day . Gladly to say the other room n beds were much better n comfortable.we enjoyed the view n stay n the breakfast was great . In overall we enjoyed ourselves n would definitely stay again.

It was a great hotel..need to work on managing parking.as lots of other non guest parked in parking lot and there was no parking for us guest..No ice makers were working on almost every level..but all in all it was a great hotel..

This hotel was great for our needs! Location was perfect, Rooms were nice and comfortable and staff were helpful and courteous for the most part. My only concern was the front desk staff upon check-in, they were not very attentive and at one point the manager came to the front, spoke to one of the 5 patrons waiting to check-in then left without asking anyone else if they needed help or assistance. Besides that initial, disappointing impression- I have no complaints about the rest of our trip. Accomodations were great for the price!

Don't stay here!!! The sofabed could not be slept in even by a child since it was tiny and full of springs. The bathroom felt dirty,the tub didn't drain and the toilet had to be shut off due to shooting water. We were kept up until 4:00am due to loud and rowdy guests, called the front desk which did nothing to help us get some sleep. I checked the bed bug registry while we were there and found out they had complaints in 2011, I'm afraid to bring my luggage inside my house!!

first of all, the girl at the front desk was not polite at all and was over charging me on the pet fee! the hallways were extremely hot and smelled moldy. the room was comfortable but i did not like the shower pressure and the towels looked dirty. happy hour wasnt too happy, cheap drinks in cheap cups. the elevators were dirty and even hotter and smellier than the hallways. the pool is way too small and smelled like urine (too many kids)...and the parking lot is TERRIBLE! invest your money on a better hotel! i will never stay here again :-/

YOU HAVE THE BEACH ON YOUR BACK YARD. CLOSE TO A WATER PARK AND FISHING DOCKS.

After reading all the reviews before booking room, I was terrified and worried the hotel would turn out to be a total disaster. I even thought that the good reviews they did have posted were from the employees there using the reviews as bait, lol. But boy was I wrong. I thought the employeed were very helpful and nice (except for the maint. guy but he was only trying to do his job at 12 am in the morning -cleaning pool area). They have good breakfast, pool was awesome, easy access to the beach, room was clean. Over all I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, absolutly LOVED it.... :)

We were very pleased with everything at the hotel La Copa Beach Inn - The staff was very friendly and accommodating - the access to the beach - perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

We had to buy braclets and were supposed to get deposit of $100 back in the morning we were charged $200 for the bracelets and they kept the deposits we argued with them but to no avail I can see $100 but $200??and $50 for bracelets come on!!!!!!!

We had wanted to stay at this hotel last year, but they were booked before we could get a room. I loved the staff everyone was very nice and the complimentary breakfast was awesome. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

The La Copa Inn had the best beach access of all the hotels on the beach. The rooms were large and comfortable and nicely done. The pool area could use some work, a few minor upgrades and resurfacing of the bottom.The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The wi-fi was not dependable and very slow. Overall, our stay was nice, and we will stay there again!

Older hotel. Good value for money if you don't mind worn old carpet and musty smell

We really enjoyed our stay. great location, you can walk to anywhere and if you dont like walking they have a free bus! Definitely would recommend!

Our stay at the hotel was much better than we even anticipated . The location is ideal, within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Our children loved the warm pool and the boardwalk access to the beach. The breakfast was great and the happy hour fun. Staff is friendly and efficient.

I enjoyed my stay there for three nights the rooms are good and plus the bed matresses are temperpidic so I slept very good. The service was good over all i wld rate it 4 outta 5.

We were there on a tues, wed, thurs, the room was on first floor by the pool which we were very pleased about. The room was wonderful, large ,very clean and comfy. The pool was very warm , great to swim but needed a little repair, the hot tub was hot but nice needs alittle work , very noisey. Close to the beach which was great, and the park. We loved it!!!!

The Hotel was well worth the price. Motel seemed to be quite old, but beds were comfortable and a nice breakfast every morning included in the price of the hotel. The water in the pool was nice and warm, One had a lot of competition for the lay back chairs in the pool area. Also convenient to the beach. The clothes closet was very small. Not big enough when one is staying for any length of time. Also nice for those people who drink, as they had happy hour everyday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M., and guests could have two drinks free. Our stay in South Padre Island was not too good, because of the weather, not because of the hotel.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at La Copa very much and hope to return real soon. Although an older facility it is kept very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very accomodating for customers with dogs. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
