We went snowboarding up at Swiss Valley MI and this place was about 20 min from there. We got the jacuzzi suite and enjoyed relaxing after a long day of being out in the cold! The bed was a little firm but nothing too awful. Breakfast was great, had good variety! Had an overall comfortable stay! Thanks!

good clean hotel. Spacious room with lots of space. Breakfast was simple,, but very good. Great deal.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and was dissapointed at the dirty condition of the elevator, hallways and the room itself. The one woman at the front desk was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor to check me in. I won't be staying in a Holiday Inn again anytime soon.

The hotel was convenient for the Notre Dame football game as it was one of the only large chain hotels still available for a good price. The hotel is located quite far from any restaurants or other amenities so take that into account when staying in this location. It is also quite far from the 80/90 interchange, so Hwy 20 is recommended when travelling from South Bend. Free internet access is a plus.

We booked 2 rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Elkhart, IN for a Friday night to Sunday stay in order to attend a Notre Dame football game. All in all, we were very happy with the facilities and would definitely stay here again to go to a game. The staff was very friendly even upon our late arrival near 1 am. The rooms were large and comfortable and easily accessible as the hotel only has 3 floors. Breakfast was included in the room rate during our stay and while not gourmet by any means, it was adequate to get us and our two teenagers going in the morning. The only downside we found was the location of the hotel -- pretty far off the beaten path and it took us over 20 minutes to find it off the tollway. There was a shorter way we found to get back to the University for the game on Saturday, which is exactly why we'd stay here again. We inadvertently left something in the room and the staff was very helpful in making sure we got the item back.

The beds were extremely hard. Hallways were noisy. Hotel was not located near any other facilities such as restaurants and shopping. Basically, it is a place to crash on ND football weekends that is not too expensive. It was clean, at least, and did offer free breakfast.

Outstanding hotel. Not close to the interstate, 10 miles away.

We stayed here when visiting Amish country. The hotel was really nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts and the warm cookies in the afternoon! Would have liked to have a hot tub but otherwise good central location and enjoyable stay!

Hotel is brand new and very clean and comfortable. Not walking distance to restaurants.

This Hotel Was Close To The Ind. 80 Toll Way ( 3 Miles ) A Little Further Out From Down Town ( 5 Miles ) It Would Be Nice, For All Of Those That Don't Have A Good GPS That List Restraunts, MIles To And Directions. The Hotel Should Give This Info To There Customers Earl And Freda Had A Good Trip

The hotel is a fairly new facility and is very attractive inside and out. Not being familiar with this area of the country, it's difficult to say if it is convieniently located. The staff was very cordial and helpful. The continental breakfasts were very well laid out and the eating area was kept well maintained and cleaned. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Fresh clean sheets and towels were in place, however, it did not appear that the room had been dusted in quite some time. Every surface had visible dust. The walls apparently were never sound insulated as we could plainly hear the people in the next room even when they were speaking in a normal tone of voice. We kept the fan of the air conditioner running all night to drown out sounds. This aside, I would recommend this facility to other travelers.

We needed a room to stay for the football game. just a place to lay our heads. It worked for us. pool could have been bigger. I would stay thier again.

Typical Holiday Inn Express. Very friendly staff. Location is a little remote (not much shopping and few restaurants nearby. Quite a distance off of the toll road -- but easy access to Highway 20 and to the South side of South Bend IN for football fans. We would stay here again for ND football.

for some reason they decided to alternate smoking and non-smoking rooms. my non-smoking room was sandwiched between two smoking rooms. i even had to wash my clean clothes when i got home b/c they reeked of smoke.
