Hotels dot com shifted us to this place after our original hotel cancelled on us. This place is decent, very clean and tidy although we had a twin room (would have preferred double bed). Location is great you couldn't do better in Ronda.

Hotel is very old and very used.

Me and my wife stayed at Reina Victoria for one night only but it was a very pleasant experince. We can highly recommend this hotel, specially if you looking for good hotels with charm!

The title says it all! A delightful surprise in a small town (Ronda) with amazing views of the valleys below and the mountains far away! The three of us had two comfortable adjoining rooms. The view from the terrace bar was breathtaking. We only had two minor issues: No hot water in the morning (It was there in the afternoon) and the TV only had Spanish channels (luckily soccer did not need sound!)

We loved staying at the Reina Victoria! We had a HUGE room with the most spectacular view!!! There was also free parking! That was the first we had in Spain. The rooms are a bit worn and shabby, but the view and the size of the rooms make up for it. The staff was helpful and we walked to all the sights in Ronda. We did a lot of walking, but that was nice.

This is a good hotel - located in the new town, five minutes walk from the cente. The gardens are lovely, with a wonderful outside seating area with fabulous views. Very relaxing - a perfect place to see the sun going down. The staff are helpful - and although they may sometimes get mixed reviews, they are really quite responsive to requests. The hotel is extremely clean, and yes, there may be a few threadbare carpets here and there, but it has a real charm and peace about the place. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

We enjoyed our stay and it lived up to expectation. Many years ago we had visited and always promised to return to stay we were not disappointed. The hotel is a little faded, but the lounge areas are atmospheric and the terrace bar is perfect for a sundowner. You can really feel what it must have been like when officers came up here for R and R! The Gin and Tonics are generous and the views great. Make sure you get a room with a view perfect! Breakfast was fine, although a pity not to be able to sit outside. The rooms have everything you need, yes they could do with a bit of sprucing up and the bathroom suites are old fashioned (read coloured) They are clean The swimming pool area is good for relaxing in the late afternoon sun after the sightseeing. The pool is very deep and hence pretty cold. The chairs are plentiful with good matresses but we found a large number in nee of replacement as they were damaged. Just pick carefully - I was worried my parents might fall through and get hurt. Definitely worth ar try for a central quiet location with free parking.- a rare commodity in Spain these days

Lovely traditional hotel but our room was rather dark. Lovely views and very comfortable public areas.

This was a breathtaking setting. Ronda is so beautiful! A "must see" little town if you are traveling through Spain. We only stayed one night but could have done 2. The Hotel itself was beautiful and well kept and the grounds and the views were outstanding. We were pleased that it was a short walk to the bus station and we were also able to walk all over Ronda from the hotel. I would highly recommend this to others and I would stay there again if I return to Ronda.

Very old world, but very comfortable and has a swimming pool which was essential in August! Close to all sights.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a relaxing holiday in Spain. We enjoyed this hotel but were disappointed to have a room and balcony overlooking the front of the hotel (which has a courtyard) instead of the back of the hotel which has the panoramic views over the cliffs and into the valley. It is not a huge deal because the hotel has a back terrace for all guests where you can sit and enjoy the view but if you want a private romantic getaway, be sure to call and request a room in the back. The hotel is in a very convenient location for the touristy section of Ronda and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. It also has covered parking for free which is wonderful if you are driving through the Spanish hill towns. We had dinner in this hotel one night and enjoyed our meal (paella) and wine for a very reasonable price! I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.

The hotel was very old world style, with a gorgeous, comfortable lobby, and large rooms. The balconies of the rooms looked out over the cliffs of Ronda to a scenic panorama. The grounds of the hotel are nice, but a little run down (the pool is filled with black water and has a chain link fence around it). The rooms also are a little worn, but nicely furnished (carpet needs replacing). The beds were not very comfortable, which was diappointing. The downtown area was a 10 minute walk away.

it is a pretty hotel with cute dinner and meeting rooms. Some rooms have a fantastic mountain view. Both train and bus stations are within walking distance (if your luggage is not too heavy). So, in this sense, the location is good. However, it is not located in the charming old town, and the new town where it is located lacks charm. Also, the room doors are thin and if people talk outside, you can hear, which can be really annoying during the middle of the night.

Very fantastic rooms. Like being back in "The good old days". If you like the old english style, you´ll love this hotel. Fantastic view of the landscape from the rooms.

Very friendly hotel set in tranquil gardens with spectacular views. Ideal as a tour base as it is in an excellent location to walk into the town.

Ronda has one of the calmest, friendliest atmospheres of any town that I have visited. This was my fourth or fifth visit and the first overnight which gave us longer to relax and enjoy both the hotel and the town itself. The hotel room doors didn't feel particularly secure and our porthole window in th bathroom literally fell off although this was quickly rectified by maintenance staff. The gardens, pool and views at the hotel are wonderful and the location makes for an easy stroll into the centre of Ronda.

This was Rick's preferred place, so I knew it had to be ok. I was not disappointed. It is very European and Old World, not "dated" as described by others! It is very charming and the rooms are rather large with seating areas, balconies overlooking garens and the hills beyond, and ours even had a fireplace! I must admit the first room we got had a bad odor emanating from the AC, but the desk quickly moved us to a new one without a problem. The only drawback is the location which is on the other side of town where you want to be. However, it is still a shorth 10-15 min walk!

This older hotel was probably grand at one time but is a little past its prime. Rooms need some TLC. In hind sight I would have tried to book the Parador at the edge of the gorge.

The view from this hotel was absolutely wonderful. It is not as close to the town center as some of the other hotels but still a short walk to stores and restaurants since the town is small. The view makes this hotel worth the walk though. Our only coplaint is that the beds are very hard and uncofortable. Service here was good.

I love this hotel. It is a gem of Victorian grandeur and while it is "dated" it is still elegant and comfortable. The view is amazing and the setting is secluded, up the hill from the main hustle and bustle of Ronda. Now a days the bus tours all stay at the Parador down in the center of town but I prefer the Reina Victoria!

Litt slitt, men veldig sjarmerende hotell. Rundt hotellet er det en nydelig hage. Hotellrommet vårt hadde balkong og fantastisk utsikt. Å spasere til sentrum eller gamlebyen gikk relativt raskt.

Det er et topp hotell, eneste å utsette er veldig harde senger

Cet impressionnant bâtiment avec ses 100 et quelques chambres mériterait sûrement un peu plus d'entretien pour le rendre d'un niveau encore plus important. Mais déjà la première impression quand on rentre c'est qu'on est en train de visiter un musée d'époque. On ose à peine s'assoir dans le salon où les client peuvent rester à leur convenance (ou en terrasse) avec le Wifi disponible gratuitement (oui, on ne l'a malheureusement pas dans les chambres....). Certains trouveront cela trop "kitch" mais cette ambiance "Reine Victoria" pour l'intérieur nous rappelle un peu plus le nom de l'hôtel et le thème qui est le sien. Pour ce qui est du confort, on peut dire que les chambres sont confortables sans être forcément démesurément grandes. Le nécessaire y est, le parquet craque à certain de nos pas, nos foulées sont étouffées par la moquette dans les couloirs...bref, on est bien quelques décennies en arrière avec le confort moderne. L'insonorisation n'a jamais été le fort des hôtels espagnols, et là encore celui ci ne déroge pas à la règle, mais on peut dire qu'une chambre avec un terrasse très grande avec vue sur les montagnes de la route des villages blancs est toujours appréciable. Le petit déjeuner est très bien fourni aussi bien en salé qu'en sucré. Rien à dire de ce côté là. A refaire Ronda, il est probable que nous retournerions là bas. Ah oui, j'oubliais...le parking de l'hôtel est gratuit !!!! Pas si fréquent en Andalousie !

We stayed one night on the hotel while visiting Ronda. Using a GPS navigator, we had no problems finding the hotel. We were allowed to park in the hotel yard, free of charge. The staff was friendly, and most of them spoke english. The room had a balcony facing the mountains. The view from the balcony was spectacular (as are many of the views in Ronda). There are not much restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but a walk of about 10 minutes takes you to the city center. The style of the hotel and lounge may be interesting for people interested in old furniture and such. I am not, so I do not know what the style is called. I am guessing early 20:th century. The beds were more modern, but as seems to be common in spanish hotels, a bit to hard. We had dinner at the hotel. The food was good but not spectacular. It was not expensive compared to the downtown restaurants, and the service was very good. Breakfast was also good.

Trevligt hotell med perfekt läge. Lite lyhört och ganska hårda sängar annars var allt bra.

Gamalt ærverdig hotell m.atmosfære. Flott beliggenhet, 10-15 min å spasere til gamlebyen, promenader m.formidabel utsikt, handlegate og spanias eldste tyrefekterarena. Me koste oss!

Hotellet er tydeligt præget af en fortid som Grand Hotel med en fantastisk beliggenhed. Værelset var dejligt stort med udsigtsbalkon mod bjergene, men værelset var slidt. Vi ønskede at bade i den pool, som var på billederne (i uge 42 var der 33 gr.). Pool området var klar, men poolen var ikke renset i nogen tid, og vi havde bestemt ikke lyst til at bade. Receptionen viste vej til poolen uden at kommentere dens tilstand.

Dette hotel er en behagelig overraskelse. Super service og uventet luksus til en meget rimelig pris.

Hotellet ligger med en helt fantastisk udsigt på et højdedrag. Hotellet ligger desuden i gå afstand til midby, den gamle by, tyrefægte arena. Der er en rigtig god stemning og ånd på hotellet. Vi kan varmt anbefale dette hotel

Hotel très propre mais vieillot qui aurait besoin d'¨être remis à jour afin de vraiment mériter ses 4 étoiles. Dans son état actuel, je lui octroirais maximum 3 étoiles. Cependant, je recommande cet hotel car il est très propre, bien situé et on y dort très bien Clients de Québec, septembre 2011

Verwacht geen modern 4 sterrenhotel. Het hotel is klassiek maar wel wat gedateerd. WIj wisten dit en vonden het geen probleem. Het hotel ligt erg handig aan de rand van het centrum met een eigen parkeerterrein waar je gratis kunt parkeren. Vanuit het hotel loop je direct het centrum in (ca 10 minuten). De kamer die wij hadden was prima en royaal. Helaas hadden wij geen balkon. Als je een kamer kunt boeken met balkon aan de achterzijde heb je een geweldig uitzicht. Het hotel heeft aan de achterzijde ook een heerlijk terras en aan de zijkant een lekker zwembad. Het ontbijtbuffet was oke maar niet bijzonder. Geen verse sapjes of vers gebakken eitjes.

Es un hotel bastante antiguo, que no ha sido reformado, por lo que se nota que en su día sería bastante señorial pero hoy en día deja un poco que desear. En la habitación el aire acondicionado hace un ruido muy grande. Se puede decir que el hotel no está mal, sin ser ninguna maravilla.

Utrolig flott og stilfullt hotell i utkanten av Ronda sentrum. Nydelige omgivelser og gratis parkering i skyggen. Stort og deilig baseng i hagen ved siden av hotellet. Store balkonger.

Hôtel au charme anglais, belle vue, en retrait du centre-ville (20mn), piscine agréable, parking. Personnel peu accueillant, prix élevé.

Historisk hotell med flott beliggenhet og utsikt. Enkle rom, men meget godt alternativ i denne byen. Lav pris i forhold til standard.

Fick charmigt rum med balkong mot bergen, fantastisk utsikt! Tandborste och tandkräm fanns utöver vanliga toalettartiklar i badrummet. Det var lite lyhört, men inget som direkt störde. Personalen pratar inte så bra engelska och var inte särskilt muntra. Poolområdet fräsch, handdukar fanns på plats. Frukosten var väl tilltagen och god.

Ruime kamers en bedden. Net zo goed schoon gemaakt, maar wel net uit de drukte van het centrum. Gratis parkeergelegenheid.

No comprendo como todavía insisten en "vivir de las rentas de la situación" de este hotel al cual he vuelto, después de 20 años, y lo he encontrado peor que entonces. Inviertan en su restauración y tendrán el mejor hotel de Ronda.
