Le Meridien Stuttgart - شتوتجارت

I stayed in this hotel for three nights. This was my first visit to Stuttgart and I selected this hotel based on previous reviews and due to a good experience I had in another Meridien Hotel. I wanted a hotel that was centrally located and within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and most importantly the Christmas Markets. The staff throughout the hotel from the reception to the bar were helpful, courteous and friendly. The check in was hassle free. The rooms were not ready but they stored our suitcases which allowed us to head off and explore the city for the day. It was raining heavily so they provided us with a large umbrella for the day. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but you could avail of free takeaway tea and coffee from the restaurant. We didn’t have breakfast included in our room rate so instead we went to one of the many bakeries and cafes in the streets along the main shopping street. This was within easy walking distance. There is a main road outside the hotel. To cross the road you take the stairs outside the hotel door and then use the foot bridge to cross the road into the park. You then walk through the park to the main street. It is about a five minute walk. The hotel bar while a tad on the small side considering the size of the hotel is very pleasant and relaxing. It has an excellent cocktail menu and all the cocktails are expertly made. The staff in the bar were fantastic. Really friendly and fast. There was one girl in particular who mixed amazing cocktails and at the speed of light. We also ate in the bar one night. The Portions were a good size and the food was excellent especially the burger. The hotel pool was a good size and free to use to guests of the hotel. One thing to note is you need to wear a gown and slippers down to the spa. These are provided in your room. When I return to Stuttgart I would try and stay at this hotel again.

It was a nice hotel. hotel and rooms were clean. rooms were a little small but it was ok. the hotel is located on a main road so you need to walk under the road to get to it from one of the train stops, the view we had was to an office building so not much to see. good hotel for the money, staff was very helpful.

Lovely room even though it was facing the dual carriage way. I am a very light sleeper but sound proofing was very good and noise from road was no problem. To get to town you have to cross a bridge and a short stroll throught the park. I wanted a hotel close to main shopping district. It was about a 5/6 minute walk so excellent. One big down side was the stroll thorugh the park. Not the best kept parks and I certainly would not recommend women to walk through it at night.

Hello, Except one glitch: I think it was a perfect Hotel to stay in. My credit card was not accepted {it was accepted every where else} but my room was paid for: they let me in but deprived me of all the hotel services... :-(. On a positive note: I loved the breakfast on offer with these guys... Chef made nice eggs for me... overall pleasant stay.. Cheers

The hotel was very nice overall, but the air conditioning is a joke despire my attempts to turn it down as cold as possible. Some cool air does come out, but not cold air and the fan speed did not help increase air flow. I thought it may have been an issue with my first room and asked to be moved - the second room was even worse. The hotel is on a busy street and sirens can be an issue when trying to fall asleep - the more expensive rooms are at the back of the hotel and do not face the street. Although the hotel is non-smoking, the smokers are allowed to congregate just inches outside of the only entrance. The pool and fitness room were nice, but the temperature in the fitness area was way too warm and humid. There were 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical and some dumbbells. The pool level included 2 separate saunas (different temperatures). Having stayed at other hotels in Germany, this is one of the better ones - it actually has some sort of air conditioning, the location is good (only 1/2 mile to main train station and shopping). Internet access is expensive at 19 Euros a day.

We were only there from about 12a to 8:30a. Our plans had changed and we got to Stuttgart a bit later than expected, so we only got to experience the shower and bed of the hotel. But the lobby, elevator, hallways, and room were all extremely modern and felt brand new. Gorgeous hotel. The shower was superior to what I have at home and any hotel we stayed at during our trip. After a long travel day it was such a nice treat. The beds (doubles) were basically pushed together into a queen and quite comfortable. Excellent air conditioning. The beds were not the most comfortable of those we'd stayed in, but they were still quite good. Excellent value. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

Fabulous combination of helpful and even pampering staff, relaxed atmosphere, and room amenities and location.

Excellent Hotel with a great location. Very friendly staff. Very clean, very quiet

Exceptional service and surroundings. The hotel and room were spotless. Excellent spa facilities. The staff were totally obliging and extremely efficient, with the breakfast buffet one of the best I have experienced. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Wie immer 1. Klase: supernettes und professionelles Personal und Service. Ausstattung ist exzellent, auch wenn ein Lift wg. Revision ausfiel. Sehr gutes Stadthotel für Business und Freizeitaufenthalte

Mycket trevligt hotell med alla bekvämligheter och som ligger på gångavstånd, gärna genom parken, till shopping och uteliv.

Magnifique hôtel, personnel très accueillant. Piscine superbe. Je recommande

Esta situado a diez minutos caminando de la estacion central, y a 5 minutos del metro.El centro a 20 minutos. A lado del hotel no hay ningun restaurant ni comercio.Esta un poco solitario.El personal es amable.Y esta todo muy limpio.Sin embargo comentar que hemos dormido fatal las 4 noches, tienen esos malditos nordicos que te mueres de calor y los cojines son incomodisimos(super blandos ,se hunden y quedan planos).Por otra parte se han de enterar que la conexión de internet ya no la cobran en los hoteles.Este tema es importante pues si tienes que trabajar por red te va a costar un ojo de la cara.En tiene mas cosas buenas que malas.De Stuttgart quizas es de los mejorcitos.Tampoco hay mucha oferta.

Das Le Meridien in Stuttgart liegt absolut zentral zur Stuttgarter Innenstadt. Der Service war sehr gut und gibt zu keinen Beanstandungen Anlass. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen. Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar hervorragend aber verhältnismässig auch sehr teuer!

I would not call location of this hotel a good or great one. Highway is under your windows and distance to center is 15 minutes walk . Though hotel has 5star definition it is certanly not the true . The lobby is a bit shabby with soe strabnge smell in it/ Parking cost a FORTUNE - 24 euro for night in this kind od district is too much

Das Le Meridien liegt direkt am Schlossgarten und wird den 5 Sternen in jeder Hinsicht gerecht. Die Fenster sind absolut schalldicht, man hört von der stark befahrenen Straße vor dem Hotel absolut nichts. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Hotel/Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Alles prima.

Hotel, Zimmer und Wellnessbereich sind sehr sauber und stielvoll eingerichtet. Zimmer schön groß, gute Verstaumöglichkeiten der Kleidung. Wellnessbereich kostenlos (Div.Saunen, Dampfbad, Pool, Fitnessraum) und auch die Öffnungszeiten sind super. Nebenkosten (Essen,Trinken, Tiefgarage) sind hoch, aber für so ein Haus wohl gerechtfertigt.

Hotel is exactly as in the picture, with professional service and a nice spa section. We never ate at the hotel nor took breakfast as there are so many good places in Stuttgart to eat. Another positive is its distance to city center, it was only a nice walk thru the park away from the city center and the Hauptbahnhof. This also meant that we didnt have to think about taking the car anywhere nor take taxi all the time. Ps! Go see Porsche & Mecedes Museum if your in Stuttgart and have the time, its worth every €
