Mansion at Judges Hill - أوستين

My wife and I took a weekend getaway and stayed here. This hotel is TOP-NOTCH. Highly Recommended.

This hotel was awesome. I loved that the "shuttle" was a Cadillac CTS they drove you around in. They aren't close to 6th street which was my destination at night so they took me and my friend to where we needed to go. They are also pet friendly, which was very hard to find. We had a 50 lb dog with us and most other highly rated hotels either didnt take them or had a 25-35 lb weight limit. They offered to take our bags and the limited parking that was available was very close to the side door of the hotel (where the parking garage is). They also allowed us a late check out of 1 pm without charging us extra. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the whole hotel was super clean.

I reserved the room for my son and his wife on their wedding night. It was a perfect ending to a great day

Can't wait for renovation a great place to stay. Love to have a pool but keep the trees.

This is a very nice, small property, but frankly is overpriced. We booked a Premier King Deluxe room, and I suppose that is what we got, but there was no CD or DVD player in the room, nor was there a coffee maker -- all amenities that are listed on hotels.com website!! Food ordered from room service was quite good and delivered quickly. Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows, but the bathroom accessories need to be replaced. Entire staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, but will likely stay elsewhere in the future due to the high cost for what you get -- have stayed in many truly luxurious hotels, and this one is not in that category.

This looks like a beautiful mansion from the outside, however from the sidewalk you can see how the mansion is just the face and the rest is an overpriced hotel. It is way overpriced for what you get. The beds are nice and the pillows are soft..... the room was small. The picture shows a tub, however all I had was a small shower. The shampoo and conditioners were fantastic, but it wasn't worth the high price tag. The hotel seems close to the university, but it's a long walk from the hotel to the main drag. The area seemed safe. I did find that the furniture seemed warn and should be replaced. I also think the hotel should really give more for your money.

The guest service is outstanding. The room was very nice, the bathtub was nice and deep. It is rare to find a hotel that provides a good bath experiance. The only downside was that the comforter on the bed was not very thick. I was a little cool.

Judges is an excellent hotel. The location is perfect if you are visiting UT and it is very comfortable. My only complaint was with the in room air control which was quite loud and very strong..

If your student is living on West Campus, this is an awesome place to stay for a visit. The hotel is charming and the employees are most hospitable! If you like to exercise, be sure to pick up a free pass to the Castle Hill Fitness club and go there. It is wonderful. I drove there, but you could certainly walk. It's about a mile away. Although from the outside, the hotel may not look like much, once inside it is charming! We enjoyed a quick breakfast there and found the dining room to be like a bed and breakfast. Just charming! I will most definitely be staying here on my return visits to UT Austin!

The Mansion is beautiful from the outside, but just mediocre from the inside. The rooms are spacious and clean, but lacked some essential necessities....we couldn't find an extra blanket anywhere and were forced to turn up the heat ...the room became stuffy ...but none of the windows opened...and if we did manage to open a window, we would have been serenaded by traffic and the sounds of guests entering and exiting the building. There's essentially no lobby (very odd layout - just weird) and the bar is small ....and shut down around 11:00pm both nights we were there. The kitchen also closed down very early! (And there's not much around the hotel as an alternative!) There's no coffee maker in the room, and the coffee they offered guests in the reception area (remember there's no lobby) tasted like water. The neighborhood is a busy boulevard with rundown buildings and a few food trucks. The saving grace was the hotel was clean, walking distance to campus (about one mile) and the young college men they hire to greet the guests and direct them to their destination are adorable, polite, and very helpful!

The place was great, clean, nice staff, eager to please! My only complaint was that the a/c was not ideal and it took some time to cool the room down. Other than that, GREAT STAY.

Very nice rooms. Hotel lobby is a little hard to find due to so many one-way streets in Austin. Enjoyed it.

I thought the room was very overpriced for it's size and amenities. I do not think we actually got the room we booked. It was a very noisy hotel and had very little peace and quiet while trying to rest and relax. You could hear all of the conversations in the hall while trying to rest.

Fabulous stay and we will defnitely be back!

Very comfortable and it was very kind of the hotel to automatically upgrade us to a bigger suite just because it was available! However, there is a $15 parking fee for some reason. The front office let me know this as soon as I checked out instead of before or right when I checked in. I don't like mysterious charges or fees. I've had to continually check my credit card to ensure there are not any other mysterious fees. Because I felt cheated, (also w/ no apology for misunderstanding), I will not stay here next time I'm in Austin.

Wonderful hotel that was more like a bed and breakfast/inn. Love the quaintness.

The room was very nice and very quite. Comfortable and staff was accomodating.

A departure from the cookie cutters to a more classic and elegant venue. Excellent staff, cuisine, and environment . A hidden treasure. Will visit again.

I was in town for several days for a convention down town, and booked late so couldnt be near the convention center. However, the Mansion was a very pleasant 45 minute walk from the convention center and I looked forward to it after spending the whole day inside. Staff was friendly and accommodating, room was nice and clean, and the free Supershuttle from the airport was a really nice feature. Overall, I would definitely stay here again for the conference next year.

Very impressed with The Mansion, I grew up in Austin and when I come back to visit it's always nice to stay somewhere close to downtown. The Mansion provides the convenience and comfort anyone should expect to have when visiting Austin for friend and family. I will certainly be booking rooms here again.

The Mansion at Judge's Hill was the perfect boutique hotel choice for us! We were only looking for somewhere to stay one night so we could go into Austin after having camped at Reimer's Ranch but before we went home to Houston. This hotel is awesome! We were offered 2 complimentary drinks in the hotels restaurant at check-in. The bed is super comfy! The room is really nice and huge! The mini bar was really well stocked with choices for purchase. The bathroom was stocked with towels, and I loved the verbena shampoo and conditioner. We were close to the Austin Metro (don't remember if that's what its called there), so that made it easy to just ride into town without having to park. We ended up walking back from 6th street so we got to see the area a bit. All in all, when we go back to Austin, this will be our hotel of choice!

Only stayed one night and didn't even see the restaurant or any of the amenities, although the restaurant looks like its probably really nice. Hotel almost has a bed and breakfast feel to it--very old and historic. Its within walking distance of the UT campus and in central Austin. It was only about $40 more than staying on the other side of I-35 from campus in a hotel that would undoubtedly would not have been as nice.

This place reminded me of the Waldorf Astoria in NY- just on a smaller scale. The on-site restuarant was excellent. The staff was friendly and most helpful. Will definitely come back!

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the University of Texas and sites downtown. However, the hotel itself was sub-par. Upon arriving at the hotel we had difficulty finding parking in the designated one-entrance/exit parking garage. We were not greeted with friendly service upon check in and were not clearly directed to our rooms which were located in a detached building. Once in our small room, we could CLEARLY hear the conversation and activities of our neighbors. The A/C did not keep up with the requested room temperature of 72 degrees. To top it off, when we returned from our Saturday afternoon outings, we were locked out of our room because the keys had not been properly programmed the night before. We will NOT return to this venue. How it received four stars is a mystery.

Brian, Stephanie and Alex were great! Our bed was comfy the feel and look pf the hotel was filled with old world charm Loved the glass shower an the view of the garden Brian knew a lot pf interesting history about the hotel I was impressed We went to one of the local music spots a enjoyed some Jazz. We will be back.

Beautiful setting; close to campus; convenient parking. In room amenities were excellent.

Parking facilities are not adequate especially considering there is an additional charge. AC was very loud and did not maintain a comfortable temperature in te room.

Loved the Mansion on Judge's Hill. We would love to stay here again. Only complaint is the charge for parking- I know is may be standard in a lot of places, but I feel ike that is a service your hotel should provide for free- it makes a difference to me when deciding where to stay.
