very noisy, looks like they have rooms for apartments. Will not stay there again

Price was right. Hotel and rooms are a bit dated, but my room was clean and it was very quiet (exactly what I wanted). If you are on a limited budget like me and you don't care about a fancy newer hotel and all that the fancy extras, this worked great for my needs.

Was good for what I visited for... price was right and suited the purpose. Spa was good after being out on the ice. Pool looked inviting.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and spacious. Had immediate connection to wireless internet.

Our stay was pleasent.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and havent had much of an issue except it wasent the best hotel. We of course did come back because there were no serious issues untill this weekend. On out second night in this hotel we came back early to relax and clean up. We cam back to find the cable would be out all night! We also found that most of the outlets in the room didnt work! I did not expect to have to check them the first night.... When you would push a reset botton on one the entire room would go dark. When I spoke to the woman at the desk about this I was rudely argued with and told that the outlets were controled by switches and i must have been messing with them and did not have them on. I tryed everything to get them to work and i sugest to be where when staying at this hotel.

Me my mom and my 5 week old stayed here just to enjoy a couple days in Door County. We stay pretty cheap because we are never in the room. The hotel did not have an elevator and with an infant and all the luggage the stairs were hard. We checked in around 10:30pm and the girl gave us our room keys and we got to the room and started to walk in and realized the room was already occupied. The people were sleeping and did not notice we walked in on them. Other than that the room was spacious and clean.

could hear everything but thankfully no one decided to make noise later! Was told room was being cleaned so couldn't get in early but walked by room and no one was there! I know it was a lie! It would have been nice since we traveled 5 hrs for a wedding!

Within striking distance from Egg harbor, Fish Creek, Sister Bay and Ephiram. Level of trim is very basic, nothing fancy. No particular complaints. Breakfast was included. The indoor pool and spa are pretty nice. Overall, reasonable place at a reasonable price.

The hotel was clean. The breakfast needed to be stocked with more food. Ran out of food quickly. Overall great hotel for the price.

Nice clean rooms. Quiet area. Pricey for a Super 8. Was disappointed that there was no public work station with computer and internet. That was expected in the price range we paid. Overall a nice motel.

Room was clean, free internet connection worked, but motel looked old, no laundry room, unfriendly front desk. Not very pleasant to stay.

The house keeping was awrful. We had to go to the front desk to get clean towels and our door was left open after they "cleaned" our room.

Updated rooms! No smokey smell like in so many older hotels. Only bad part is the location. Too close to busy road and windows don't keep street noise out. Very comfortable for an economy hotel.

This hotel was ok for a couple of nights. The staff was pretty friendly, but they obviously had some booking issues with the people booking using other methods than calling the hotel directly. Also, there is no wi-fi in the rooms, you must be in the lobby to use it. The breakfast (which we looked at but didn't eat) consisted of just continental items, other than waffles. Room was clean and close to expressway.

I stayed here with my sister. It was good for the price for the area. If this hotel was anywhere else I would expect it to be at least $40 cheaper. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only issue that we ran into was that the phones were not working. Not a huge deal when you have a cellphone... unless you are Canadian and you don't want to pay roaming charges. The staff suggested using the phone at a nearby gas station instead... I'm pretty sure they had a phone in case of emergencies around that should have been made available when none of the other phones are working.

First, the room shown on the Hotels.com website was not the room we were given, so we had to upgrade and pay the difference. We were told on Hotels.com that breakfast was included and then when we checked in, was told we had to pay extra for that. Our room must have been a smoking room at one time because it smelled like smoke, so we had to go buy disinfectant spray to reduce the smell. When we went to use the pool, it was so cold, we couldn't swim. When we finally checked out and left the hotel, all of our clothes, luggage, etc. smelled like stale smoke. Very disappointed..No towels were in our room, so we had to go and get towels every day..Would not recommend to any friends or family, we were very disappointed as this was a getaway for my birthday..

Considering the price, this place was conveniently located for what I needed and the basics were handled. The towels were replaced, beds made, etc. Except for one day, when the room was not taken care of at all. I was there for five days, and this didn't really matter to me. I did, however, leave a few items behind, which they held onto until I contacted them days later. When I need new key cards, they were on top of it. I cannot comment on the breakfast or amenities as I did not need them. Overall, for the price, it was worth it.

the hotel was nice but the fire alarm was hanging off the wall and there were stains on the rugs otherwise it was a nice stay

There is a little remodeling going on on one of the wings, but no big deal. It is located right by the main highway, but yet right on the edge of town. Less than one hour from Green Bay, and within close proximity of the other cities in door county. Very clean, and a very nice pool.

Two problems A; We were on the first floor (ok with us) window curtain bottom was 7 inches higher than the sill, all could see in. I asked for this to be fix or move (the first hour we were there(Thursday) they said ok, 4 days later still not fixed. I ask they said yes sure, still never fixed, or moved us. B: only 1 wash cloth per day given to us, we ask for more still never got more. C; Had to be the worest coffee in the world. D: Carpet in Hallway very very dirty

Clerk at check-in was a bit rude. Clerk at check-out was friendly. Hotel is located between a highway and frontage road. Hotel does appear quite dated but room was clean enough. No iron/board that I saw. Would probably opt for something a little nicer next time I'm in S.B., but can't say I would never stay at this Super 8 again.

We choose the Super 8 in Sturgeon bay because it was near all the attractions. hotel was under remodeling, but still fully functional, Breakfast was good and pool area was awesome. would stay there again.

The hotel is in need of remodeling. It stinks of cigarette smoke. I could hardly stand being in the room. I used a whole bottle of air freshener and still had problems breathing the cigarette stench. The manager said that some people sneak cigarettes, but this was long term stench. The carpets, bedding and drapes were permeated with the smell of cigarette smoke. Will never stay there again. Very disappointing, place needs to be fumigated. It wasn't worth what we paid for it.

very satisfied except for the pillows. There was nothing there.

the location of the hotel was the only thing going for it. when i checked in the lady never smiled and was very short with answers and just down right rude! door jams were missing to the breakfast room leaving sheet rock dust exposed and was now attractive. everything in the place had dust on it including all tables and dressers in the room. when we got to our room there was a half used roll of toilet paper still left from the previous guest without being changed for us. this was just a very very disappointing stay and will never spend my hard earned money there again.

The hotel staff was slow moving in checking us in. The room did not have towels and the hotel staff was slow to correct this issue. The staff did let us check-in early, which was very helpful.

They seem to be remodeling and it definetely needs it. Seem to be quite empty, they had simple breakfast, no ice machines in hall you have to go to front desk and ice had particles frozen it. This hotel should b cheaper than priced. If just for quick stay it's ok.

Price seemed a little high considering the area. Only acceptable because of hotels.com rate. Lots of nicer places in Door County. Info was not clear on whether the breakfast was included or not. Not enough electrical outlets in the room for even the coffee pot. We had to put that on the floor. Could not have handled computer power or phone charger.

even though I had paid in full they still took my Photo ID and Credit Card. Bath tub had a brown stain crack in it and shower curtain was dirty. Frig had not been wipped out or cleaned in ? the drawers to the dressers where broken unable to use if anyone needed to put anything in to them. carpet was vacumed but not into corners or under the beds looked like someone ran it through the path way. the cooling system either froze us out or was to stuffy. Glad I brought my room freshner it helped. When checking out I was given a bill for a lower price. then the owner took it away from the help and said that I would not get a copy. Thought it was me but 2 others talked to us when we got our coffee when leaving with similar compliants. Wouldn't stay if I was given a free room to stay again. Have stayed at other Super 8 never had this problem. Will find better ones again then this one.

Biked around neighborhood (12 miles) and found Hotel easily even though NOT familiar w/ area
