Hotel Leonardo Prague - براغ

Booked this for my parents for 3 nights. They had no complaints. Said that breakfast was very good and staff were apparently very friendly and helpful. Happy with room.

Cool place, 2 floors to the room - very enjoyable and walking distance to everything worth walking to.

The location of the hotel is decent - close enough to the old town and Charles Bridge (all walking distant) but far away enough to be out of busy traffic. The breakfast that was included was nice, plenty of variety. I did not find the staff at the front desk to be too friendly and they did not provide me with good advice when asked. For example, I asked for directions to the Prague Castle, and received the wrong tram stop to get off at. I also asked for information on cultural events, such as concerts, ballets, performances, etc, and the staff directed me toward something that was a subpar experience and below my expectations. Overall, the hotel was fine enough, but, probably would not recommend it to others.

By far it was the best hotel that I've been in Europe. And it is very close to the main sights. You only have to worry with the 2 floors rooms, they are terrible, you can´t stand up on the bed's floor, so I had to ask them to change to another room and they did without any difficulties. Obs: great breakfast!

The hotel is very conveniently located, with exceptionally friendly staff on the reception desk. The breakfast is ample of of good quality, albeit the space can be a little cramped. The rooms are exactly as advertised; we had paid the cheapest rate for a simple 3 night stay, and had a top floor room with sloping ceilings and beams. Because WiFi didn't work on this floor, the desk loaned me an internet cable, which meant I could at least get online, even if I had to sit on the bed to do it. Personally, if I was going to Prague again, I would stay at the Leonardo.

Spent three November nights at the Leonardo. First night arrived late, shown to our room to be very disappointed to be shown a twin room, rather than double we were expecting. Room 205, faces the street and windows don't close properly so had dreadful night sleep with the cobbles outside amplifying all noises. Also, as other people have commented, the bed pillows (only one each) are terrible. Had to roll up the bed spread and put it underneath the pillow to give some extra support. Next morning, we asked for a room move and it was arranged no problem. The buffet breakfast is excellent - everything you'd expect on the continent plus eggs, bacon and Czech sausages. Only problem we had with breakfast was on the last morning, for some reason the grumpy Maitre'd insisted on placing "reserved" signs on tables when clearly they weren't - meaning at the busiest time, you couldn't find a seat. And also, he allowed a pet dog into the dining room too!! But the family obviously had money so that's OK.......Hotel Leonardo is 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge and 10 minutes to old town square. There are a few local bars and restaurants around and the ones we tried were OK. Overall, I'd stay there again and happily recommend the hotel to anyone but may be worth emailing ahead and ensuring the room choice you booked....and extra pillows!

Nice Hotel, very good location.

Spent three nights here. Excellent location, close to everything. Morning breakfast is very nice. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a hotel with old world charm.

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the location and great breakfast each morning. Very good value for your money. We were in an attic room which was quaint but should have asked for a room overlooking the courtyard. It was too small for a 3 night stay and they would have moved us if I had asked. Very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again..

stayed at the Leonardo hotel for 5 nights with my wife - the location is extremely convenient, both for the old and new towns. the only drawback (and it is a minor one) is that breakfast is served in the basement of the hotel, while there is a lovely garden. the room was spacious, quiet and clean. the staff were helpful and spoke fluent English.

One of the best hotels we ever stayed in! The staff was wonderful, very helpful and the nicest people. Room was very comfortable, large and airy. Great bed, not so great pillows! Great breakfast included. Wonderful location walking distance to all the sights. We loved it!

It's difficult to choose the best feature about this hotel - the charming architecture, the great location, the comfortable rooms. However, it must be the superb staff which is the hotel's greatest attraction and best asset. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful - from the reception staff who remember your room number by heart to the breakfast manager who made the effort to speak to us in our native language - the staff did many things to make our stay that little bit more special. The other attractions of the hotel speak for itself - conveniently close to the tram and metro stops, within walking distance of Charles Bridge and the other attractions, a good breakfast spread and dinner options plus convenient facilities close by. I would definitely return here on my next trip to Prague and heartily recommend it to others. Keep up the good work, Hotel Leonardo!

Great location within walking distance of all the main attractions, phenomenal breakfast, charming rooms, and incredibly accommodating and friendly staff. What's not to like?

We had a wonderful time in Prague - the hotel is in Old Town and we had a view of the river, Charles Bridge and the Castle. Not ostentatious but very comfortable and wonderful homebaked croissants and Danish for breakfast with a wide range of other choices. The desk staff were very helpful and arranged concert tickets and tours - the walking ones are excellent.

What a great location, everything is in walking distance. Even better than that was the incredible service. No matter what our request, it was tended to promptly and with a smile. The breakfast buffet was never ending and had more variety on breads, pastries and nuts than you ever could wish for. Hot items like eggs or omlettes are made to order because they want you to get the best quality and food temperatur served. Make sure you request a room facing the interior terrace, rooms facing the street are noisy at night from people leaving the local pubs. Also request car service from the hotel when arriving, taxis at the train station and airport are always overcharging tourists two to three times the going rate.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years and I felt that this was a truly great deal. The room was clean, comfortable and the small kitchenette with coffee and tea made getting up a little bit easier. The staff and service is impeccable and the buffet breakfast was fantastic.The location of the hotel is within walking distance of all the major sites in Old Prague. This is a definite must stay when visiting Prague. I have already recommended the Hotel Leonardo to others.

The hotel had everything I needed, and the staff were very friendly. Excellent free breakfast. Incredible value too, considering their rack rates! Walking distance to the Old Town square and the Charles Bridge. Easy trip from the airport (from the airport, take the 119 bus to Dejvice then the Metro to the Staromestska stop - then 3 block walk to the hotel )

If you want to stay in Stare Mesto, this is a good choice. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is close to many things. However, the room had a bit to be desired. The bathroom was nice, and there was a lot of space, but the bed and other furniture were a bit dated. The bed was comfortable, but only two pillows (one for each head), and there was a strange noise that lasted all night coming from the pipes. The breakfast was good, but the service was only adequate.

Perfect location with a few good restaurants nearby. The breakfast is great! And the rooms are clean and cosy. Definitely worth it!

A friend recommended this hotel to me, and I was very pleased. The front desk was extremely helpful with concert tickets, directions, tram tickets, etc. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold choices and lasted me until an afternoon snack. My room was clean, attractive, and comfortable, and the hotel location was excellent for seeing all the sights (Charles Bridge, Old Town Square a short walk away) but the street and neighborhood isn't touristy and crowded. I would highly recommend this hotel. I was traveling solo but saw lots of families with small children staying there.

1 block from Charles Bridge, and in the center of attractions. Hotel was nice, and had a good resturant...prices were very reasonable.

Great hotel location (10 minutes walk to the best sites in Prague!) The hotel is on a quiet street so it is not a concern trying fall asleep as it could have been if we stayed closer to the New Town nightlife. The hotel staff was helpful and attended to our needs well. BTW: George, the Matre D' deserves honorable mention as he made sure that every morning we felt welcome and the we had everything we needed. We had nice conversations with George each day. The Breakfast Buffet was spectacular, including eggs, bacon, ham, cheeses, potatos, a plethora of breads, a granola and cereal bar that included, pistachios, cashews, chocolate chips, coconut, raisins, and about 20 other items to add to your cereal. There was also a yogurt bar area with fruits, and a danish/cakes area. This MUST BE THE BEST breakfast in Prague! We had a very nice stay at Hotel Leonardo and would definitely recommend to our friends.

Nice hotel. Staff is real nice. We got a room with no outside windows so they moved us to a loft on the 3rd floor. It was a nicer room but the stairway to the beds was pretty steep (so not good for older people) but still nice. Very clear hotel, very near the Charles Bridge and the old town square. Good quality for money paid.

If you visit Prague, the Leonardo is the place to stay. Location is great! Convenience makes the trip worth while, and, you will always remember the name for future stays or referrals

The hotel was excellent in nearly every way. The only fault was the music at breakfast. Smetana would have been better than pop music.

the room was large and had a large separate sitting area. It was steps from thew Charles Bridge and close to tram lines. I would stay here again.

We were greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived . All of the staff spoke excellent english and were really helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. You just could not wish for anything else - cereals, fruit, pancakes,as well as the usual hot buffet and the continental cold meats and cheeses. I had an omelette cooked for me one morning and it was delicious.The rooms were very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The only downfall that we could find was the very subdued lighting and the pillows were not very comfortable but I'm sure if we'd asked we could have had them changed. The hotel itself is so pleasant. We had drinks in the courtyard at the end of the day and it was the perfect place to wind down after a hectic day sightseeing. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on that. The location is perfect. In a quaint part of the Old Town just a few minutes walk to Charles Bridge and a short walk to the excellent tram system and all of the main tourist attractions.

Très bon hôtel. Bon accueil à la réception et restaurant. Mais ménage quotidien de la chambre plutôt "survolé", insuffisant par exemple : dépoussiérage des meubles non fait pendant la semaine et très visible (tables de chevet et de TV en verre!). Nettoyage sanitaire insuffisant. Sinon, très bon souvenir de cet établissement que nous recommanderons.

Flott sentralt hotell med meget god frokost og ikke minst gode senger :-) Eneste minus var at rommet var for varmt og at muligheten for lufting var noe begrenset (kun lufting mot svalgang). Likevel, meget bra opphold og meget hyggelig og bra hotell.

Klart rekommenderbart hotell som ligger perfekt och med gångavstånd till de mesta. Trevlig omgivning med flera restauranger och pubar. Rent och snyggt på hotellet och hyfsat stora rum samt en bra frukkostbuffe´gör detta hotell väl värt ett besök.

Väldigt prisvärt och mycket trevlig personal. Ligger perfekt vid Karlsbron.

Bra läge, kanon frukost, aningen lyhört mellan rummen men lugnt läge på en enkelriktad och sällan trafikerad gata

Fantastisk beliggenhed, lige ved karlsbroen i en stille gade i den gamle bydel. Vi var kørt til Prag og hotellet sørgede for parkeringen, dog mod betaling ca. 250 kr per nat. En smule dyrt, men det er vist fast pris for alle hotellerne i nærheden af centrum. Værelset var lækkert og nyt med trappe til hems med ståhøjde, hvor vi sov. Dog var det ikke en dobbeltseng, men to enkeltsenge og der var heller ikke badekar på værelset, som vi savnede. Hotel Leonardo har kun bruserer. Lækker morgenmad, brød, æg, croissanter, yoghurt, frugt, juice, kaffe, the og fri bestilling af forskelligt ala carte. Til romantisk getaway vil vi vælge et andet hotel næste gang vi skal til Prag.

Hôtel remarquablement situé. Quelques travaux de rénovation - de faible envergure - sont actuellement en cours dans le hall, mais qui n'ont engendré aucun dérangement notable. Le personnel est sympathique, attentif et serviable. Seul bémol: la salle du petit-déjeuner (voute en pierre, très belle) est vraiment trop petite; il est difficile d'y trouver une place le matin.

Excellent hôtel, propreté irréprochable, service extrèmement courtois et serviable, au coeur de Prague. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, sucré comme salé. Nous recommandons cet hôtel avec plaisir!

Et fint hotell med perfekt beliggenhet! God frokost og hyggelig betjening. Vil absolut anbefalle det til andre Eneste man kan trekke på var at det var litt lytt ut til gangen fra rommet og at sengen var litt hard. God valuta for pengene!

Отличный отель, оправдавший все ожидания. Прекрасное расположение в самом центре города, отличный интерьер для достаточно компактного отеля, прекрасная кухня.

Hotel Leonardo has a great location and the service was fantastic. Breakfast had everything from fresh pastery to omlets made to order. Ask for a quite room facing the river.

Meget hyggelig og sentralt beliggende hotell. Bare et par hundre meter bort til Karlsbroen. Rene og relativt romslige rom. Men vær obs på bestilling av trippelrom, vi hadde trippelrom og ekstrasengen var ikke god. Prøvde å få en ekstra madrass men alle ekstrasenger var i bruk. De tilbød istedet et enkeltrom ekstra til halv pris noe vi godtok. Fikk også kupong på vin i restauranten på kjøpet. Hyggelig og proff betjening som løste dette på en brukbar måte. Kommer til å bo på Leonardo neste gang også.
