good point excellent location, negative point rooms very dated for a 4 star hotel considering cost, would I return yes because you cannot beat location

We had an excellent stay in this hotel at the end of August. We stayed for a week, bed and breakfast, and had a very nice seaview room, (having been put in a room with a very small balcony on the first night, but were moved to a room with a proper balcony on request). Breakfasts in the morning were very good with a huge variety and selection of fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, salads and hot buffet, and eating out on the terrace overlooking the gardens and the beach just added to the whole experience. The hotel staff were very very good, friendly, helpful, and receptive, and the pool and garden facilities were equally good. I particually enjoyed sitting outside on the large upper terrace with the mature pine trees, while my wife was more into the very comfortable sun loungers on the level below, (next to the pool). The easy access to the beach was great and we walked on the beach (which was clean and well kept), every morning and we swam in the sea every day. We very much liked being able to mix the nice beach and the sea with the hotels excellent pools, gardens, and sun-lounging terraces. We also really liked being able to walk out the front door into the hustle and bustle of Peguera's main street when we wanted to, while still being able to walk out the other side of the hotel into the relaxed calm of the hotels terraces, pools, and gargens. At night, we heard absolutely no noise from the street, - the peace was wonderful. We had a car, and car parking was no problem at all in the free public car park about 100 metres from the front door, (up a side street). All in all, an excellent weeks holiday, and we will definitely go back and stay at this hotel again.

A lovely Hotel set by the sea and a delightful beach with excellent facilities for family or older guests with a charm and atmosphere which combines the old traditional with the relaxed and modern.

Great Hotel, great location, great beach. Very clean, and excellent breakfast. Location is definitely for the older generation and I would not recommend for anyone under 40 to go here...I am 30, my wife is 25 and we felt a little out of place. HOWEVER, the location is beautiful and if you like it quiet, this is the place for you. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. Our room was a suite, it was big, great view, and clean.

Lækkert hotel med super beliggenhed, næsten i vandkanten ved dejlig sandstrand. Vores altan lå med havudsigt og sol det meste af dagen og sikke en udsigt ud over hele bugten. Mellem hotel og strandpromenaden var en flot park/have som blev ordnet af havemænd hver dag og her kan desuden bestilles ny grillede fisk og bøf, drinks, kaffe mv. i disse smukke omgivelser. Personalet var meget venlige og servicemindede på hele hotellet. Husk endelig at bestille morgenbuffet, for der blev disket op med masser af frisk frugt, nylavede omeletter efter egen smag/valg af en venlig kok, der var mængder af pålæg, ost og meget andet tilbehør. Utroligt søde, smilende, hjælpsomme og venlige tjenere. Et lille minus: sengene mangler topmadrasser, men ALT andet er helt i top. Vi vender helt sikkert tilbage.

Hotel très agréable avec vue magnifique, jardin, patios, terrasse. Petit déjeuner correct; bar et salons cosy. Accueil serviable. Point à améliorer: moquette des couloirs plus que défraichie.

La habitacion 25 quiza sea la mas pequeña del hotel, Es bastante incomoda y con un fuerte olor a humedad que no se pasa por mucho que ventiles la habitacion. Cuando abres la ventana, sales a una terraza que da a un callejón de 4 metros de anchura y justo enfrente tienes las ventenas de un bar. No consistáis nunca que os den esta habitación por un precio alto, aunque me imagino que otras habitaciones lo valgan. Por lo demás el hotel es muy bonito y está excelentemente ubicado,y el personal muy servicial
