Ventana Hotel Prague - براغ

This hotel is a gem, in the middle of the old town and very convenient for all attractions. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room spacious/clean/comfortable and the breakfasts very good. Prague is such a beautiful city, but is quite full-on in terms of amount of walking you do, and the number of tourists / intrusions by people selling all sorts of stuff and noise on the streets at night. We were therefore pleased to have spent a bit extra on a quality hotel in this city.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Czech airline lost my luggage and I non-stop bugging the front desk to follow up with airline for me, they were patient and polite and never declined my requests. The hotel is close to the attractions and I can just go to most of the sites on foot.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location next to old town square.Very friendly helpful staff , good breakfast ,comfortable bed . We had a fabulous time would stay here again.

The hotel is about a 20 yard walk to where the Old Town Square of Prague opens up. It's next door to the side of the "Church of Our Lady before Tyn", which makes it easy to walk around Prague and always have your bearings. It's a very fashionable hotel with muted tones in the rooms and a modern look & feel. The hotel staff was very accomodating and helped us with our directions to several sights. The breakfast is highly recommended, as it is a mix of Eastern, Western, and local options, with hot food and lots of fresh fruits, breads (the sunflower bread was very good), hot & cold meats, & cheeses. There's pretty much something for everyone, and given that a lot of the food in Prague leaves something to be desired, it was a nice start to the day. They have tours leaving from the hotel as well that others seemed to like but that we didn't try. Given the price we got, I would definitely stay there again. It was a particularly good deal for the Loft considering there were 3 of us. That gave us a large bed upstairs and a sleeper sofa (which broke and they replaced with a much more comfortable rollaway cot) downstairs. Seems like it would be a very good option of a room for families.

Recommended! Literally 1 block from the center, great location for sight seeing, meeting friends, shopping, anything you would like to do in Prague. Staff was extremely friendly and nice. This is a very small hotel and an old building, so there is practically no lobby, but the ceilings are very tall. It is in the center of the city with lots and lots of tourists nearby, so it may get a little noisy at night. I didn't mind that coming from New York, but I can see how someone may have an issue with that.

Slap bang in the centre (a minute from the old town square), but surprisingly quiet. Lovely helpful staff couldn't do enough for us when we needed advice or information. The decor won't win any prizes, but is restful on the eye (you'll be grateful for that after a day sightseeing in Prague). Altogether a very good experience.

I liked this hotel - the only missunderstanding was when they tried to put us in a double floor room - which has practically no light. I suggest that you check at reception about the room immediately.

We were very much impressed with the facilities, staff and location. Small Bouticq Euopean Hotel that offered everything except an over-sized lobby swimming pool and eating facilities. They were not necessary for we didn't go to Prague to swim and there were an abundance of eateries in very short walking distance. The staff were polite, helpful and seemed to be concerned with our stay. We would stay there if we went back.

The Ventana is a lovely, friendly hotel in a great location. Despite being right in the centre of town, it's quiet and relaxing. We had breakfast and afternoon tea in the library overlooking the Tyn Church - one of the city's famous landmarks and the staff were very obliging so we felt quite at home. It's a bit old fashioned but that's all part of its charm. There is free wi-fi though - but there's no kettle in the room which is a surprise for us Brits. However, with free tea (proper tea too) served in the afternoon you probably won't need one.

Excellent location. Rooms are spacious, very nice, beds comfortable, bathroom modern. Chose the breakfast option. Very good breakfast buffet. Worth it. Internet was spotty in the room, but it was fine. I would defiantly stay here again. The hotel upgraded us to the room with a loft. I didn't like the loft, didn't think it was as nice as the regular rooms. They switched me back to the standard room which was elegant. The hotel offers secure parking, for a fee. Great hotel. Well priced. Would stay there again

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ventana. The location was really wonderful -- right off old-town square (literally steps away), but on a quiet corner where the noise of the street won't interfere with a good night's sleep. Nice breakfasts. Room furnishings are quite nice. Beautiful bathroom. The loft rooms were interesting -- but an odd use of space. If there are only two of you, I might recommend one of the superior rooms with all square footage on one floor. If there are more than two, the loft rooms are a nice option as the two floors offer more privacy!

Wow, what a great experience the Ventana Hotel was for a 3-nite stay in Old Town Prague. The Ventana is right off Old Town's Main Square, so it was a great location to start walking tours, or watch local entertainment. Also very convenient to access public transportation; 5-minute walk from hotel. Staff was pleasant and accomodating, and very helpful with arrangements for dinner,and airport shuttle. Room was spacious and tastefully decorated. A/c, hot water, nice showers, and internet access all contributed to our pleasant experience here. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with excellent service from attentive waitstaff. The elevator is "old world" so we used the stairs alot. And there are several mini-markets around the corner from hotel for drinks, and sundries, too. My wife has seen the pictures and wants to go. I would stay at Ventana again.

This was a great hotel. We had a very spacious room that was clean and modern. The location is great, we could see right into the old town square from our room and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was awesome as was the service. A great choice in Prague.

Excellent, very comfortable hotel, ideally located, with attentive and efficient staff.

Very good and friendly service. I got good advice from the staff when it came to finding typical Czech restaurants. The receptionist called and booked a table for us. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the Old Town of Prague, just a few metres away from the Old Town Square. The building is beautiful, inside and outside. The breakfast was very good. All in all, a hotel I will recommend to friends and colleagues, and I will certainly book there again for my next trip to Prague.

Ventana was fantastic, everything we could have hoped for an more. Great location and staff and if you can stretch your budget I'd highly recommend the loft deluxe with great views over Prague.

This well-run, boutique hotel was right in the heart of Old Town. Great buffet breakfast and wonderful staff. Room was comfortable and quiet unless you like sleeping with the windows open like me--then it is a bit noisy with cut-through pedestrian traffic (inebriated young people!). Would recommend this hotel highly.

Overall, the Ventana hotel was wonderful; luxury, but not as pricey as many others. Very nice breakfast buffet as well and a very good location near all the action of Old Town Square in Prague, but just off the square enough to be quiet. Highly recommended.

The Hotel is in a good location and the breakfast is alright. The Hotel is not a five star maybe three. The rooms are dated the TV did not work. the bed was about 30 years old. but that was when the hotel was decorated as well. Anything we booked through the hotel did not work out.

My wife and I recently traveled to Prague and stayed at the Ventana Hotel mostly because of the reviews at Hotel.com. We have found that most hotels on the site rated 4 stars are (to us) generally 3 stars. Hotel Ventana was an exception. We loved our stay and would classify it as 4 stars. The location, just off the square in Old Town, is perfect to explore most of the city but is also close to the Metro should you want to get to other parts of the city. The staff was very courteous and helpful giving us suggestions for site-seeing and restaurants. We highly recommend Bellevue Restaurant. Though expensive, it is perhaps the best restaurant we've been too outside of the USA. We found the breakfast at Ventana to be just grand. We will be back to Prague and will definitely stay at the Ventana again.

I'm hesitant to give this hotel the review it deserves for fear that it may become too popular and therefore unaffordable for me. But I have to be honest given how much I depend on review....The Ventana Hotel was SPECTACULAR! A location that cannot be beat, in the heart of the Old Town, a beautiful building inside and out, a gorgeous room, a fantastic breakfast in a beautiful library setting, and great view from al windows (I guess that's why they called it Ventana, spanish for window!). It is a small, boutiqish hotel so if you are expecting all the comforts of a large hotel, this is not for you. But if you just want a great place to say with unobtrusive staff....just book it! You will not regret it. Best hotel I stayed at in a multi-city trip through Europe...bar none! (Just be aware....the central location does make it pretty noisy if you open your windows!)

I stayed at this hotel on a round-the-world trip by air. Prague was one of my favorite cities because of its gorgeous old architecture. The Hotel Ventana was one of my favorite hotels because it is location right in the middle of all these beautiful buildings and in the middle of some truly world-class shopping!

SUPER läge mitt i gamla stan, nära till ALLT. Bra service där dom hämtade oss med Limosin från flyget. Blommor på rummet +++++ allt var perfekt till och med Champange serverades på frukost buffén.

天文時計などのある旧市街広場に隣接したホテル。１階はSWAROVSKIのショップです。外観、内装ともに落ち着いた重厚な雰囲気。各階の天井が高く、そのせいか部屋も広々と感じられます。ホテルのスタッフも旧東欧圏とは思えないほどフレンドリーで、朝食のビュッフェも充実しています。難点は地下鉄やトラムの駅から少し離れていること。それを差し引いても、今回、クリスマスの季節に合わせてチェコ、ドイツ、オーストリアの３カ国７都市を巡った中で、コストパフォーマンスも含めて最高のホテルでした。

Hotel antigo,extremamente bem decorado.estado de conservação excelente.Quarto e banheiro grandes,bonitos e confortáveis.O café da manha delicioso esta incluso na diária.Localizado no coração de Praga,a poucos metros da praça da cidade antiga ,onde tudo acontece.

Meget godt hotel men pas på, der er nogle værelser uden "rigtige" vinduer, kun ovenlys, og når man hvde ventet tag-udsigt var det lidt ærgerligt. Men ellers godt hotel.

Mycket bra läge med gångavstånd till allt Riklig och god frukost (tom "champagne") Vänlig och serviceiniktad personal Sköna sängar i bra hotellrum Enda negativa var väl att stadsutsikten från rummen i översta våningen var i stort sett obefintliga..förmodligen ännu sämre längre ner

With one word:EXCELLENTE

Jeg valgte dette hotellet pga beliggenhet og komfort, og jeg ble ikke skuffet. Hotellet er lite men pent, og hotellrommet var svært bra. Beliggenheten er det vanskelig å få bedre med under et minutt å gå til senter av gamlebyen. Dersom jeg drar til Praha igjen bor jeg svært gjerne på dette hotellet!

Nydelig hotell med perfekt beliggenhet. Meget god frokost i sjarmerende, ærverdig frokostsal. Et hotell vi absolutt anbefaler til andre!

Hotellet har til fulde levet op til vores forventninger! Fantastisk god beliggenhed lige midt i centrum - ud til det lille fine område "Ungeld" med mange små cafeer og restauranter. Fine værelser, lidt nedslidte, men rene og funktionelle. Utroligt venligt og smilende personale, der altid var til rådighed med service, råd og hjælp. Alt i alt et rigtig godt bekendtskab, som vi kun kan anbefale.

Le personnel de l'hotel Ventana est tres sympathique et réactif. Les chambres sont propres. Le seul souci, c'est de ne pas avoir une vraie vue pour les chambres en duplex. Meme si cela est rattrapé par la qualité générale de la chambre. L'hotel Ventana est tres bien situé à deux pas de la place principale du vieux centre sans les défauts (bruits ...). Enfin, le peit déjeuner etait copieux et diversifié.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Though the hotel does not have a parking garage of its own, this is not a problem, the car was brought to and from a nearby supervised garage by a member from the friendly staff. Also parking was not as expensive as we'd feared (700 CZK per day). We were upgraded to a suite on the roof, very calm and cosy, though no views to the street if you find this important - we didn't mind. Breakfast was not included in our reservation, we tried it once and didn't find it remarkable to approximately 700 CZK for 2 persons.
