Courtyard at Lake Lucerne - أورلاندو

It was a nice break, just minutes to Church Street and other downtown establishments. Walk the lake and enjoy the architecture of the neighborhood homes.

This is a wonderful and charming historic place. Very peaceful and comfortable. I have stayed twice and had a great experience both times. Breakfast is delicious, too.

Roomy accommodations nice cocktail hour and great breakfast

This hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I didn't know what to expect. For those of you that don't mind victorian antique decor this place is a great deal for the price. The hotel is walking distance to downtown Orlando, friendly service, clean and reasonable price. I couldn't ask for anything more.

It is a great hotel. Super close to the Anway center. Friendly service, good breakfast, free parking. Just be mindful of the fact that it has a bed and breakfast feel to it. The one thing I didn't like was the bed comforter it was old and stiff. Overall a great romantic place.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And every evening there is a happy hour and a chance to meet some other people staying there.

We stayed for a weekend to attend a conference at the Amway Center. The room (suite) was large and very comfortable, and had everything you need to stay in if you bring a little food... It was a nice short walk to the Amway Center. Lots of great restaurants just a few blocks away, either downtown to the north, or Orange Ave to the south. It's located in a very nice neighborhood. The ONLY thing we didn't like was they didn't have blackout shades so the bedroom was not completely dark at night. Breakfast was excellent. The atmosphere here is great - lots of trees and beautiful garden between houses. Two weddings were taking place on one of our nights at the Courtyard. They were beautiful and looked like a lot of fun. Overall, it's a nice quite, romantic, getaway.

All was great. We were in the art deco building which was a 1 bedroom apartment. Convenient to downtown. Free parking. Breaksfast buffet was included and served in a great comfortable atmophere inside or on the porch outside.

It was a great B & B for the things you go to a B & B for. I stayed in a victorian styled room which was very large and had a large jacuzzi tub and a fireplace, which went off and on. I never could get wifi to work on my laptop, although they haven't had too much trouble with other guests or rooms concerning Wifi. It comprises of 4 houses, which can be inconvienient if you want ice or a soft drink, which you need to go to the office for, which may well be in another building. Very nice staff - tried to make my stay as good as possible. Walking distance to Amway Center & Church st., which was great! Complimentary bkfast and cocktail hour was also great!

The positives: Nice building with quaint decor right in the heart of downtown Orlando. And the breakfast was far better than the typical 'Continental breakfast' served at most hotels. The negatives: The room was very small and cramped, the shower stall was tiny so taking a shower was extremely difficult and uncomfortable. And the windows had no shades, blinds or even real curtains. All they had were see-through lace. So the lights from the city and passing cars made it difficult to sleep and once the sun came up, forget about sleeping in.

We expected more of a bed and breakfast atmosphere. Room was not comfortable. Everything was older and outdated. Kitchenette was very small with older appliances. Room had oriental theme I think. Very small flat screen tv in living area and older small tube tv in bedroom. I think I had that same tv in the early 80's. Bath needed a major renovation. Breakfast was very continental. Coutyard was very nice. Not exactly what we expected for the money

Wow! We had planned to go to the Mad Cow Theatre at Church Street Station and also the SAK Comedy Club located near there. Not knowing where to stay we chose the hotel by location and seeing some pics. We could not have been happier. We were able to walk at night, hotel had a 'happy hour' and a great breakfast. The bed was comfy, staff was great. We can't wait to stay again. We loved it!!

This B&B is located on the edge of downtown in Orlando's oldest building. The rooms are unique and decorated with vintage Victorian furniture. The have a wide variety of free cocktails each night and an excellent free breakfast in the morning. This company owns three other next-door historic buildings and they have tropical garden courtyards in between. One of the front desk personnel went out of his way to make sure I had a parking spot on a busy night and was incredibly helpful. Downtown is well within walking distance and I was able to leave my car there and easily walk to get dinner on Church St. I really love this place - the historic setting is so relaxing!

The best place I have ever stayed at in Orlando. A nice change from the usual chain hotels. Free parking was a bonus.

Overall this place is a great getaway for a married couple. The decor is a bit different and old but the price is reasonable for the location which is conveniiently located in downtown Orlando. The juzzi tub was the highlight for our room as well! This is our 2nd stay and we will plan to come back for sure.

Absolutely wonderful. Stayed in the Attic and it was breath taking. This is a hidden treasure in Orlando!

I stayed in the art deco building for two nights. This is a great downtown location close to the Amway center and many other downtown activities. The room was actually a suite and was an apartment at one time. It is a very old building and when you first walk in it smells a little musty however the smell doesn't linger. The carpet was new and the shower was very good. There is a continental breakfast served and in the evening you can also have a complementary cocktail. I enjoyed my stay and will return again should I need to stay in the area.

Address on Hotels.com was wrong, spent 45 minutes trying to find the place. Its a bed and breakfast, which isn't available until 7:00 am. Too bad if you're an early riser and need coffee, all though I did nock on doors until I got coffee! The shower in my room was so small that I could barely lift my arms, and I'm a petite person. I found the staff to be very friendly, even though I arrived late in the evening the made me a few cocktails! The house is beautiful. Great for a vacation, but not the business traveler. Also, breakfast was pretty good.

We only stayed for one night and sadly were unable to make the most of this beautiful place as had to leave early the next morning, but we loved the ambiance and the beautiful rooms. Reception was extremely friendly and welcoming - worth phoning for directions as the inn is hard to find! Breakfast was lovely - in gorgeous room. Thoroughly recommended! And although some reviews mention the overpasses nearby we were pleasantly surprised at how tranquil it was, and there was no traffic noise that bothered us.

The pictures I saw were not what I got. I thought it was a B&B and the pictures showed individual rooms. I got a suite in an old building next to the nice ones. It was clean but the ironing board was nasty and the iron wasn't working very well. The decor was eclectic. The breakfast was good. The courtyard area was the best part about the hotel. Friendly staff but I was disappointed in the room since it wasn't like the pictures.

Love the turn of the century atmosphere and furnishings, however,our bed squeaked every time either one of us moved. It made for a sleepless night.

Very covenient for freeway, but.......that does mean that many of the rooms are very noisy. We were given the large and delightful "honeymoon suite" in the art deco building beside the original hotel. Grand mirrored bathroom with double spa bath, and 20s/30s period furniture. All fine, but we could not sleep for the loud rumble of traffic. They kindly moved us to a room in the original house and that was very pleasant, with no noise problem. Evening cocktails were great and the breakfast on the large veranda overlooking the courtyard was excellent. Location is a 10 minute (safe) walk to an area with many good bars and restaurants; ideal for adults!

the gilded age eleganced was very refreshing!

Nice hotel to stay in. Landscaping is beautiful for weddings. There were 2 going on ourt visit. Rafael at front desk was very helpful on informing us of surrounding events and even went the extra mile to provide us our added requests.

While I understand there are four buildings, I only resided in the first building which held the hotel office. This building was small but lovely, carrying this 19th-20th century feel to it that made it more like a step back in time. Everything was a tad shorter than normal, and the shower small (don't anticipate doing much in it ;) ) but the bed was just long enough. If you end up in this building, make sure you aren't very tall or you might not fit the bed. There was a lovely little sun room patio as well, though we didn't use it much. The entire place had this character about it you expect from old, small hotels, a character that makes it a quite romantic selling point when compared to standard run-of-the-mill places. And to top it off, it was nearly as cheap as the run-of-the-mill places, even with a performance at the Bob Carr center going on. I honestly felt I got a room I hadn't paid enough for, though room service wasn't exceptional so I suppose it balances out. Word of caution to travelers; plan ahead extensively. Google Earth it if you have to, but make sure you understand how the streets run around the hotel. It's a left-turn only back onto Delaney Ave heading for the one-way Anderson St. And that was the biggest problem with this hotel; the orientation of the streets around it can be a pain to the uninitiated and uninformed. But the location is great, as it is near everything.

The only issues that I had were, a) the security lights were very good, but the blinds in my bedroom were not adequate enough to block the light AND b) there are 4 buildings at the hotel, don't expect to stay at the one pictured. Otherwise the breakfast was EXCELLENT and the the people were very friendly.

This is a nice older hotel near downtown orlando. Very quiet considering that it's between an expressway and an offramp. They present themselves as a bed and breakfast but it's only a continental breakfast and not a great one at that. By their standards any hotel with a bagel and OJ available in the morning is a B&B. They also advertise free wi-fi internet access ... it would be better if they didn't. The bandwidth is abysmal if not existent and offering it just leads to broken expectations. However, the room was generous in it's size (appears to have been an apartment in days gone by) with a separate bedroom, livingroom, bathroom and kitchen. The gerden courtyard is very nice and lush. All in all a pleasent place to stay if you don't need internet or have a cell-modem.

Die Lage im Zentrum von Orlando ist gut, wenn man weit ab von den Vergnügnungsparks noch etwas urtümliches sucht.

Wir sind begeistert von der tollen Atmosphäre, dem Charme und der Herzlichkeit des Courtyard.

Meget charmerende, men rummene i sidebygningen som vi boede i var ganske slidte. Hørte man skulle prøve at få rum in en af di 2 træhuse.

Très bon hôtel, un peu loin à pied du centre ville mais extrêmement agréable pour passer quelques jours.

Das Hotel ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und die Zimmer sehr charmant. Allerdings sollte man den englischen Stil (wie ihn sich Amerikaner vorstellen) und alte nicht perfekte Möbel mögen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, sehr gute Auswahl und liebevoll serviert.

Vi hadde litt problemer med å komme frem til hotellet pga GPS som surret med veiene, men da vi kom frem- fikk vi en hyggelig overraskelse! Hotellet lå i en oase under motorveien, som vi ikke la merke til. Da vi gikk for å sjekke inn, ble vi møtt av en super hyggelig mann i resepsjonen. Vi fikk nøklene til rommene våres, og ble nok engang positivt overrasket. Rommene var bare så koselige, på en gammeldags måte, og store. Vi hadde også en koselig balkong, ut mot oasen i midten av de 3 husene, som tilhører hotellet. Det eneste som manglet, hadde vært en lite basseng man kunne duppet seg i. Hotellet lå i gangavstand til hovedgatene, men lurt å gå sammen, selv om vi så at hotellet lå i ett veldig hyggelig boligstrøk, da vi kjørte avgårde. En siste hyggelig overraskelse, var da jeg gikk ned for å spørre om de solgte øl. Svaret jeg fikk var: det følger en karaffel med vin på rommet, om dere vil ha det... We loved this hotel!
