Hampton Inn Newark Harrison Riverwalk - هاريسون

My husband and I were very pleased with everything about the Hampton Inn. We will be back for two more events for our daughter and plan to stay here. When you walk in the doors you would never know you were in a downtown location.

Good location, close to Airport and Rail to NYC. Shuttle provided for transport to rail, restaurant and airport. Wine tasting was awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

We were searching for a good hotel in Newark and we end up with Hampton Inn according to good reviews in "Hotels.com". It was simply brilliant, nice clean rooms and good breakfast in the morning. Best in town!

Affordable stay for visit to Manhattan. Allows to save the money for shopping and great food in NYC! We stayed for 7 nights and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious rooms. The only problem had was first night we got a room with poor functioning AC so the room got really hot. We were able to change room the next day and the rest of the stay was very comfortable.

very clean hotel and friendly staff. Shuttle to Penn station, 10min very convenient. got back after the shuttle hrs ended but taxi was only 10dollars. breakfast adequate and lounge bar area was nice.

This is the second time I have used your hotel and again I was very pleased. Breakfast was great!

Nice,clean affordable an courteous staff. Very nice quiet place. Excellent beds and pillows make sure that you enjoy quality rest while on the road or simply while enjoying all the beautiful spots in NY and surrounding places. Highly recommended.

This was a great hotel with very courteous and helpful staff. Beds great, clean and yummy breakfast. Provided shuttle service...very prompt! We'll be back!

VERY DESAPPOINTED RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALSO GENERAL MANAGER FIRE ALARM GOT ON TWICE AT NIGHT, THE NEXT MORNING TRYING TO TALK TO THE GENERAL MANAGER HIS RESPONSE WAS SORRY NOTHING I CAN HETELL YOU. YOUR ARE NOT LUCKY IT'S WAS THE WRONG TIME

We stayed here to attend the Pinstripe Bowl Game and stay for New Years Eve. Too expensive to stay in New York so this was the next best option. Rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was great! Waffles, different sorts of other hot foods plus the usual cereal, muffins, fruit, etc. Picked it because it was close to the PATH train which is 30-45 min? ride into Manhatten, $2 each way I think. Can walk 15 minutes to the Harrison PATH station or take the hotel shuttle to Penn Station. Had a GREAT shuttle driver Michael who offered us tons a advice for getting to and from NYC. Shuttle stops at 11:00pm so we would take the PATH to Harrison station and walk or grab a cab back to the hotel ($9 for the van cab ride back). However based on the next night I would avoid the cab station at Harrison, RUDE worker told us to wait outside for our cab then forgot about us and let people after us in our cab. Also, were told not to exit at Penn station and get a cab because they turn their meters off to overcharge you. Never exited there on the way back to see. Area seems okay, did the walk to the hotel and from Harrison Station a few times, no problems. Had a group of 6 though.

I have stayed at this hotel before, but this time we stayed on the side facing the train tracks. It was pretty noisy and did affect our sleep. Overall, the hotel is very nice. It is convenient to NYC, breakfast buffet was crowded, but good. The staff were friendly.

Staff was so friendly. Breakfast was awesome. Beds were so comfortable. We were on the end of the hotel where the train went by, but it didn't bother me at all. Very clean!

We arrived in the early morning at 5 am, reception was so nice and warm and checked us in, so we were able to get some sleep before heading out to new York, also we had some breakfast. For the price we paid , it's totally worth it. Very clean and comfy, nice bathroom, breakfast changing everyday, free wifi and parking, shuttle to the penn station. My total rating is absolutely 5

We stayed at the hotel between December 21 to December 25th, 2011. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the linen was very well maintained. The room always had a very pleasent smell. The things that did not work was the coffee maker in the room. The location of the hotel is safe and clean. The breakfast is adequate but not something to look for. The scrambelled eggs were yuk. At night you may hear trains and revving aircrafts comeing to land at Newark airport. But it is not in anyware trouble to sleep, The hotel is located in a not very developed neighbourhood but it is safe. Do not expect to walk into nice restaurants and nightlife anyware near this hotel, Absolutely recommend this hotel for it cleanliness, courteous service. The free shuttle to newark penn station is very useful. We would return to this location again.

Definitely a good spot and a great value for the money: the hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable, tenants are polite. Their breakfast is not a big luxury but satisfying. Also this hotel is very close of the Newark PATH station where you can park your car an go directly in the NYC downtown (WTC) without taking connections. Will book again here the next time I will be in NYC.

very good location near downtown newark, large, clean but in a tough area. room was good, temprature hard to moderate using thermostat. i would recommend it although for a five minute drive you can save 40 bucks and get a courtyard. used this hotel since i did not have a car and it was a quick turnaround.

This was actually a very nice hotel. I'm very picky in where I like to stay and I would have to say that this hotel was very satisfactory. We had a very nice view and we were also given a ride down to Penn Station when we wanted to ride in to New York. The drivers and staff of the Hampton Inn were very nice and helpful. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast offered a lot of variety. The bed was very comfortable and the room was immaculate! I would definitely stay there again. The only drawback was the close proximity to the transit line... It wasn't enough to change my mind about this hotel though.

I got stranded in the NYC snow storm the last weekend in October and ended up needing a place near Newark to catch a different flight. I stayed here. Amidst all of the chaos outside, I felt completely at peace inside of the hotel. I have no idea why this place is not over a three star hotel. The hot breakfast was great. The internet was free although a bit slow. The staff was pretty good. One guy was way nice, the other was so so. The shuttle driver was super nice. The bedding was nice. The pillows were pretty good. The heat and air worked well. Everything was nicely updated and clean. They had a nice little lap desk thing for my laptop which was a nice touch. The gym was way nice with regard to cardio and had a decent weight machine. I would totally stay here again without hesitation.

Great place to stay while we visited NYC. The front desk was very helpful with shuttle services to the train station. The hotel was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We would come back!!

Very friendly and helpful staff - providing maps directing us into Manhattan, using their computer/printer, checking us in early. The room was clean and the bed comfy. A variety of food was available for Breakfast. I'd stay here again.

We stayed at Hampton Inn Newark Harrison Riverwalk for 7 nights and our experience was great. The hotel was nice, the room was very clean, the free internet was working fine... The free shuttle service they offered was great, the drivers and the rest of the staff were really nice and helpful. All you have to do is call them and they come and pick you up! I would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone!

Called hotel on arrival at airport and they picked us up in about 25 minutes. From Hotel Manager to ladies running the breakfast area, nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfast with choice of two cooked items, bread, bagels, muffins, cake, waffles, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Much cheaper than staying in town. Hotel shuttle takes you to Path train which is now $2 per ride - about 20 mins to World Trade Centre and can change to get Uptown. A bit of a journey after a long day sightseeing but well worth the savings. Would stay here again.

Love the room as with all Hampton Inns, great facility, great breakfast, great rooms and amenities. Close to Penn Station in Newark for quick access to NYC.

The train noise in the middle of night was very disturbing. It was good location. Price was right. Nice room and facilities. Good breakfast.

very reasonably priced hotel, free breakfast & parking and a free shuttle to the path station into NYC. We enjoyed it and would stay there again.

Shuttle service was not good at all, driver always behave as if he is doing favour. Rooms are not cleaned and next day evern they did not provide the towels. Breakfast was very basic nothing great about it, male receptionist are very rude.

The staff at this hotel were extremely polite and helpful during my recent stay. The room and the hotel itself were VERY clean and the breakfast was wonderful as always at a Hampton. We were very happy with everything except the parking situation. There is a small lot right on site which is VERY tight for anything other than a compact car. The secondary lot is under a bridge and out of sight. Normally, this would be a big deal, but this hotel is not in the nicest neighborhood so I felt uncomfortable with both options. Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel for its cleanliness and friendly staff...just be prepared for the miserable parking!

The sofa is not clean. You can see the stin. I didn't even touch the sofa. The TV doens't have many channells to choose. The curtain is semi clear. People can see from outside.

We were very pleased with this hotel, having just arrived in the USA, the Hotel staff were very welcoming and attentive, the breakfast was the best we had on our holdiay and the staff were the most attentive. Highly recommend this hotel. It has a nice indoor pool too.

Better than getting a Hotel in NY. They have a shuttle that takes you to and from the train station and it's 20 minutes ride to NY. They offer breakfast too!

The hotel was great but it was loud in the night when trying to sleep. No hot tub.

We were picked up by FREE shuttle but when we got to hotel it was the wrong one,no probs 11-00 pm & the hotel sent their driver for us when we had checked in he drove us to the local diner & was suprised that we walked back in the snow.Days 2 & 3 the shuttle took us to resturants & stations , nothing was to much trouble, we had booked a smoking room for our 2 night stay but it was New Year weekend first night was in a non smoking room but they changed us the next day super hotel super staff under a lot of pressure as it was new year but they coped without any fuss or bother 5 star

Very good hotel if your going to PN Ccenter. They took us over and picked us up after the concert. Everyone was very friendly. Very good breakfast in the morning. Hotel was clean and safe. I would stay there again.

nice hotel with even nicer staff, hotel shuttle is the best, Tony took us back and forth to prudential center for the Devils game he does a great job, is friendly and informitive. Hotel needs a bar restaurant though in the evening. look forward to staying there again, for the next Devils game.
