Great hotel in a perfect location for business or pleasure with large, clean rooms (stayed in a double) with friendly and helpful staff, will certainly stay her again.

The room was well furnished but with a shaky table (on which the tea-making facilities were placed!). Toilet is a bit compact but the shower was powerful. The TV screen size wasn't as large as I hoped, and the channels were the usual ones and not premium, contrary to what is in the description. Breakfast was served buffet-style - although quick, this means the food can dry out if left out for a while. The service at the check-in desk was very good and personable - the only downside was that the gentleman who served me didn't have an awareness of local restaurants to recommend. The 24-hour bar is useful for any late-night drinkers out there (or, in my case, sitting there and accessing the wifi on my laptop). By the way, Hotel Artto's location is fantastic!

The staff are really friendly and the location opposite the Central station was perfect. There are also 2 very good restaurants next door (Italian and Indian). The bed is a little soft and there is no table that can function as a desk. The night I stayed was very noisy because the wind was blowing the guttering and making startling sounds that woke me sporadically. Otherwise, I was happy with it as a good quality budget hotel.

This hotel was easy to find and the room i stayed in was clean and modern... I would use this hotel again if i was visiting Glasgow!!

The location was great, close to George Square, next to the trail station. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even thought the hotel is non smoking they had setup an area by the back entrance with tables and chairs,clean ashtrays,like a nice little patio with a canopy and heater lamps. I thought that was a nice touch.

Small hotel well located. Stayed in top floor room which was an attic room. Woken early each morning due to banging of neighboring doors. Bumped my head off sloped ceiling.

located just beside of railway station, very convinient and minutes walk to subway station. I enjoyed my walk to enoch shopping mall, then up to buchanan street where it's a fantastic place for shopping. The only down side is that you will feel vibration from the railway track on and off because it's so near the railway station. otherwise i strongly recommend for those who wish for a good rest after a long journey and do not wish to spend more on public transport.

Very good, except 1st morning breakfast was not ready at 0700hrs - 15 minutes late an selection for breakfast poor - will not opt for breakfast on future stays

As a lone female, I always feel safe and comfortable staying at the Artto. Always my first choice on work or pleasure trips.

The staff were very nice and let me check in early.The room itself is very basic but very clean. the only problem i had with it was there was no wifi

Really impressed by this hotel! Great bar area where food and drinks great price and quality. All the staff were fun, friendly and helpful. Great location for a night out with friends. Rooms were small but had every convenience you could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again next time I am in Glasgow and would recommend it to friends!

Very good all round, marked down on comfort as one of the beds was extremely loud, the slightest movement resulted in loud squeeks. It is on the main drag and the noise form outside does come through. Hotel offers free wired internet which is great, but some rooms are not updated to have the required port so check this when reserving.

basic stuff, well done and in a very handy location. Recommend the indian restaurant attached to the hotel. Not sure I'd consider the breakfast worth the regular cost (but it was worth the half price special rate when I stayed).

This is a nice modern hotel. Perfect location-just steps from the train station, shopping and music clubs.

It was a good one night hotel

Very central hotel, close to railway station and shops. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Inexpensive hotel, good value for money.

The room I had prevented me from standing up because of the sloping ceilings. The rug was stained, and the bed was most uncomfortable. There is no wireless...........overall a bad experience.

Was ok. Room interiors need a bit of updating - the curtains in my room fell off the wall for instance, but for the price there are no real complaints. Breakfast was strange - I managed to sit at the wrong table in an empty restaurant - why on earth did they care about that?

The hotel was very close to the train station and very convenient. The hotel receptionist was very nice and really helpful and informative. We went to a concert at the SECC and found it great to get a taxi right outside the hotel.Nice bar area, and lovely rooms.

I know I booked a single room but this was just ridiculously small and very nosey when others were going to their rooms. On business so no good heading to meetings the next day with a very poor night of sleep - never again. One positive - the staff were very attentive.

My stay at the Artto Hotel was exscerlant the staff was very friendly and helpful I could not fault them at all, the hotel was very clean and cummfortable and would deffiently recommend it to any of my friends if going to Glasgow 10 out of 10.

We asked hotels.com to ensure that the hotel was accessible for wheelchairs and that we could be allocated an accessible room. However, there was no ramp access to the hotel making it difficult for wheelchairs (probably impossible for some users) and the room was not a specific disabled access room. This request is not made out of a sense of choice but necessity and it is essential that these requests are taken seriously and trreated with respect.

The hotel was right across the street from Glasgow train station and good for a clean bed to sleep in. The room was a bit smaller than expected, but overall the hotel was clean, inexpensive and good for a night stay. The bed, sadly was not very comfortable and was slanted, but everything else was just fine.

It was a nice hotel- the staff was lovely. The room was shockingly small- but did I really need much space? It had everything I needed, although a fan in the bathroom would have been nice as it got a musty smell after the shower. But for the price, I was quite impressed. My only complaint is I was on a lower level and there's a very noisy bar across the street that kept me up. A higher level or the back of the building would have been nice. But for the location, I almost can't complain about the noise. And the staff was so wonderful and accommodating. I felt sorry for them because apparently one way they keep rates down is on staff so the women at the front desk were always running around like headless chickens.

Had a great time in Glasgow the hotel was good for the money wee paid staff were nice

The hotel is in an old building, which means that the room we were in was quite small, but it was very clean and had everything that was needed in it. It is so convenient - very easy to get to lots of places very quickly. We'd definitely return if we were in this part of the city again. Don't expect the world when you're only paying for an acre!

Very good overall, staff excellent. TV channel choice & set-up poor. Breakfast disappointing.

We were at the Artto for 2 nights. Nice little place to stay and convenient to the train station and some restaurants and a few shops. The more upscale shopping was a fair distance away, but we were more interested in taking the train to southwest Scotland for a day trip. The staff was very helpful. I had a twin room, which was small but cozy and was on the backside of the hotel so was mostly quiet. My sisters' room was on the front of the hotel and it was quite a a bit noisier. It was a clean and smoke free environment.

Booked the hotel because of the good price, next door to Central Station, and with all-night reception, as my train was to arrive at midnight. When the train was delayed to 2 AM, the location became even more attractive !!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had been fitted out a few years ago but not to a very robust specification - superficially attractive but beginning to show its age.

Very handy location for Central Station. Staff were really nice and helpful. Excellent Italian restaurant next door.

Exceptionally helpful reception staff on check in and in the morning going beyond the obvious to help me get to my meeting. Single room very small but clean and for the rate was ok. Breakfast in an Indian restaurant is an experience but recommend for budget stay close to station. Wifi in reception only.

very welcoming at reception, room was tiny, stuck under the rafters. the bathroom needed maintenance - cracked basin, broken taps and light fittings missing, then the shower door came off when it was being opened. At breakfast not hot food available between me arriving at 7.30 and leaving at 7.50. value wise ok but could do with a bit more attention to detail.

The Artto was what I needed as a place to sleep off jetlag. The staff were friendly and helpful, but we're mostly busy with their jobs as the hotel restaurant's personnel. The city is at the doprstep here.
