Golden Apple Boutique Hotel - موسكو

We had a nice 2 night stay at Golden Apple. The room was very clean and modern with everything working perfectly. We had a nice view from the 6th floor and could open the window to get a breeze. Wireless internet was included free with our room and allowed us to check in with family via video chat. The location was great and is around a 30 minute walk to the Kremlin. The metro stop is also nearby as well as several restaurants, a coffee shop and a supermarket. We arrived very early in the morning and the staff kept our luggage in a locked room until our room was ready and we went out sightseeing. A cash machine is also available in the hotel lobby.

The hotel is not a far walk from a metro which is quite important in Moscow. The hotel was lovely in a modern way and the room was extremely comfortable and moderately sized. The breakfast was not included (as it often is in other Russian hotels) and it was insanely expensive - beware!

very nice, clean, and friendly hotel, we are very satisfied

The hotel is clean and contemporary, conveniently located in close proximity to the three metro stations, Sadovoye Kol'tso (Garden Ring), grocery supermarket. Tons of attractions within a walking distance. It's staff is fluent in English and very helpful. Central air-condition, but you hardly need it at night, when you can open a window and enjoy unmistakably Moscow atmosphere. Beds are hard, which I did not mind, but pillows could definitely be softer. Surprisingly, the TV set seemed to be from the last century - boxy. Flat screen would me in more harmony with the contemporary hotel's looks. Avoid using room phone to make local calls - very expensive. Overall I liked this hotel, though it was not "golden" (5 stars), but rather "silver" (3 1/2 stars) at best.

Its a good hotel for mixing business and leisure as its very close to the red square and all the crowded places within a walking distance. Internet connection was very good I totaly recommend this hotel

Overall, the Golden Apple is a great boutique hotel. It's pretty close to lots of sights such as Red Square and the Kremlin. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The only negatives are: -beds and pillows are way too hard! It felt like I was sleeping on the floor -the shower was too small and it was hard not having water leak out onto the bathroom floor Other than that, I really enjoyed my staff at GA.

A little pretentious and sharp pricing. Suit business more than tourist guests, and clearly aimed at the business 'all expenses paid' market.

I was checked in four hours early, as soon as the room had been cleaned, with no problem at all. Staff all spoke excellent english, and were very friendly and helpful. My room was large (though it was 'deluxe' not 'standard'), and clean. Great location - not far from anywhere and close to metro station. Bed and pillows were not comfortable at all (my hips were bruised by the end of my 5 night stay!). Shower was very leaky. Breakfast was nice, but very expensive so if it doesn't cost too much more to get it included then it's probably worth it.

Great hotel for a quick business trip. Wifi is excellent and free in the lobby, and moderately priced in the rooms. Very clean, with a good locations pretty much in the center of moscow very close to a number of metro/subway stations. Good neighrbohood very close to some of the fanciest/best restaurants in Moscow. Hotel aims for uber-modern decor, which I am not sure it quite pulls off, so it is a nice change from gilded opulence of some of the other Moscow hotels. As is usual, taxis from hotel are much more expensive than if ordered through one of the many moscow car services, so try to take advantage of that option if you can. Overall - highly recommended and will definitely consider staying there again.

Friendly beyond belief, clean and funky. A bit of a walk to the Kremlin but a short subway ride if not. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

It's a good hotel and probably good value for its price (in Moscow). However, the gym was under construction and the bar/restaurant are very pricey.

The hotel was most disappointing from the start- when arriving, I was surprised to find that the hotel has no parking, although parking was detailed as amenity. It continued with size and design of hotel lobby- mind u, they claim (and charge) for 5-star!. I went up to my "superior" room, to find a small room, with a small and stiff bed, a tiny bathroom with shower only, all decorated in so-called modern look. I stayed in that room no more then 15 min., the time needed to find another hotel. I moved to the Sheraton Palace, where I got a real 5-star hotel for the same price. At least my 2-nights stay was not ruined by the unpleasant feeling of being conned. No need to mention that this hotel never tried to offer me a better room, or to compensate me in some way, etc. This is an upper-scale 3 stars hotel, with good location. Beware of photos, as it was taken with extra-wide angle lense and rooms appear double the actual size. There are much better hotels in Moscow for the same price and less!!! Z.G.

A very comfortable hotel. Very modern decor but as in most Moscow hotels very expensive drinks in the bar ( 6 euros for 250ml water.There is a kiosk 50 m away where the same is 40 cents) Food looks good but again overpriced many decent resaturants within 5 minutes not including the ubiquitous Macdonalds and TGIF's. Overall a nice play to stay as long as you don't eat or drink ))

The hotel generally is ultra modern and small. The staff who checked us in was helpful and spoke good English. He also provide us with good direction of the area eg. convenient stores and subway station. He also helped us to book a taxi to the airport the following day. The negative comments of this hotel are as follows: 1. The hotel room ambience is too dark due to choice of lighting, carpets and drapes. Should not use black carpet and black drapes in the room. Having green colour doors on the room entrance and green colour floors on the bathroom are bad choices. 2. Room is basic and small. Television is small and old - should have newer flat screen. 3. Lifts entering to hotel rooms are small. 4. Hotel should provide complimentary bottle water. 5. Should be classified as 3 1/2 to 4 stars hotel quite similar to motels. Definitely not a 5 stars hotel. Positive comments: Hotel surrounding area is not nice. It is within walking distance to subway station and few restaurants nearby. It's 1 station away from Red Square, Kremlin, Russian museum etc. 7. Taxi fare from hotel to airport costs 2700 rubbles approx and takes approx 45 mins to 1 1/2 hrs depending on traffic. Not sure if this hotel is highly recommended. However, Moscow is an expensive city and it's difficult to find decent 5 stars hotels near sightseeing places in Moscow anything less than close to approx US400 plus.

We received a 'spring break' special in April and it was a very fair rate. The room was a good size and very clean and modern. We learned that the city of Moscow does not rise early so we enjoyed sleeping in and have a relaxing complimentary breakfast! my husband recommends the little pancakes for breakfast he said they're the best he ever had! I however really enjoyed the smoked fish! We found our stay in Moscow to be somewhat difficult and taxing due to the language barrier so coming back to this hotel in the evening was extremely relaxing for the traveling mind! the staff all spoke english very well and were extremely helpful! I 100% recommend this hotel. It's also very close to the subway.

This was a very nice medium sized hotel. The location was good, about a 20 minute walk to the Kremlin or a short metro ride. The breakfast was truly excellent. Above all, the staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English.

Très belle prestation au coeur de moscou, dans le quartier historique et shopping par excellence. Petis restos chics et sympa à proximitē. Au croisement de plusieurs lignes de metro. Belle chambre - avec un dèfaut de praticitē au niveau du bureau (prises peu pratiques, espace bureau petit, lumière beaucoup trop tamisēe pour travailler) - mais pour une nuit de repos- parfait! Les accessoirs de la salle de bain- peuvent mieux faire, ainsi que les chaussons (une paire donnēe pour une chambre à deux)

便利な３つの地下鉄の駅に近く、快適で清潔なホテルです。スッタフも親切です。 Wifiはロビーでfreeで使用できました。

Мы были с супругой с 31.12 по 02.01 нам очень понравилось.Тихо спокойно, в номерах чисто.Близость к Красной площади.Что нам было необходимо.После празднования мы воспользовались сауной.В общем мы остались довольны.

Las cinco estrellas que "luce" el hotel deben ser un regalo de reyes, porque con cuatro va más que sobrado. Las habitaciones muy pequeñas y la ducha diminuta. El desayuno muy caro para lo que ofrecen -no merece la pena-. Está relativamente bien situado a unos 20 minutos de la Plaza Roja en un agradable paseo por la avenida. Lo mejor de todo la cama comodísima. Ah, tenían el canal 24h de TVE pero por desgracia era el único que se veía mal de todos los sintonizados. La excusa que me dieron fue que retrasmitía mal el satélite español. jejeje.

Besökte Moskva i förra veckan och bodde på Apple boutique hotel. Betalade en förmögenhet. Hotellet låg bra. Men det anstår inte ett flerstjärnigt hotell att ta 400 kronor för en frukost om man vill ha det. Eller ta betalt för Wireless internet. Det är helt enkelt dumsnålt. Stefan

Hotellet ligger ett stenkast från Tverskaya och ligger perfekt för att kunna gå till de allra flesta sevärdheterna i Moskva och 3 olika tunnelbanestationer. Det är ett försök till att vara ett designhotell, men det lyckas inte så bra. Väldigt tyst på natten och mörkläggningen i rummet var otroligt bra.

The stay was fine. The location is very good. This i definately not a 5 star hotel 3 to maximum 4 compared to european standards.

Stylish, newly designed hotel, in a nice area alongThe tverskaya. Unfortunately Service levels are rather poor. Waiters and concierge look generally rather annoyed when asked for information or help. Not in line with The hotel standing.

this is a selected hotel in a strategic position; 5 minutes walk from the Metro and close to many restaurants; the only pity refers to the rate which looks a bit high

Jeg kan varmt anbefale Golden Apple Hotel -- det er lige præcis den oase man har brug for i en by, som lejlighedsvist er ret forfærdelig. Super lækkert værelse. Eneste problem var en knirkende dør, som man kunne høre hele natten og som det i øvrigt venlige personale ikke var i stand til at rette op på. Men mon ikke det bliver fikset. Beliggenheden er perfekt i forhold til relevante metrostationer og lokalmiljøet rart. Lad dog være med at spise maden på hotellet -- både service og kvalitet er elendig. Det gælder i særdeleshed morgenmaden.

Ligger helt i nærheten av hovedgaten Tverskaya. Gangavstand til shopping, røde plass, Bolshoy etc. Rent, bra mat og upåklagelig service. Litt harde senger.

Nous avons passé 4 jours en couple à Moscou. Cet hôtel est idéalement situé (proche des métros, bus, sites touristiques accessibles à pied). Les alentours de l'hôtel sont agréables et beaucoup de commerces sont à proximité. Le personnel de l'hôtel est accueillant et parle parfaitement l'anglais. Les chambres sont propres, bien équipées. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon, on vous recommande surtout les blinis. Nous avons gardé une très bonne impression générale sur cet hôtel et nous vous le recommandons.
