Hotel Il Querceto Dorgali - دورجالي

We are a couple 30 and 38 years old. We stayed in Il Querceto in mid august. We found it excetionally clean throughout with large well furnished rooms. The room we had was at the rear of the hotel facing west and had a fantastic view over the mountains and Dorgali town. We dined in the restaurant 3 times and found the food excellent with a great selection of wines. All food (we had anyway) in sardinia is very salty so be prepared. The breakfast was good with breads, crossiants, cereal, yogurt etc etc. The staff in the hotel are fantastic, very helpful and most speak good english. The staff are the hub of this great hotel. Although a bit out of the town the hotel is well placed to explore the many sights round Dorgali and Cala Gonone. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Il Querceto to anyone. The only negative we found was the hotel has no public bar or lounge thats it!!

If you are into family-run hotels, a clean beautiful hotel, tasteful decor, and a great price, this is the place for you. If you are into hotel chains, impersonal, sterile hotels, and a great spread at breakfast, this is not the place for you. There is not a piece of advertisment in your room, there are no folders filled with brochures or instructions or all the nonsense in hotel rooms these days. The family took time to provide requested information about the area and took a personal interest in our enjoyment of the surroundings. We had been a little worried when we booked it that we would regret not being at the sea, but it ended up that we had no regrets. In fact, we look forward to going back to Il Querceto.

I chose this hotel because I had a rental car and had the luxury of driving to the beach. I wanted to do this because of the endless amount of beautiful beaches in Sardegna, why go to the same beach everyday? This hotel is located about 10 - 15 mins from the coast, situated in a very beautiful landscape of mountains and greenery. The city Dorgali has everything you need, restaurants etc. but the coastal cities are nicer to go to for dinner and night walk with gelatto of course. The city about 10 mins away Calaganone has a few beaches very beautiful, especially the last one accessible by road. Ask the hotel for directions to this beach as it's the most beautiful. From Cagliari it was about 2.5 hours drive time to the hotel and then from there you can make day trips (1-2 hours) to many beautiful beaches along the Eastern coast if you're keen.

From the outside it was clear the hotel was being renovated, inside it was excellent. Clean, spacious and very friendly and helpful staff. The renovations turned out to be a huge increase in the size of the hotel, which despite a little noise, in no way spoiled our weeks stay. There will be an indoor and an outdoor pool and a sun terrace which we used to watch the sunset over the mountains. The view from the room on the top floor was wonderful and the room was very large and bright. The balcony was quite small, but the new rooms - some of which were just being used for the first time, had large verandahs and wonderful showers. The buffet breakfast included fruit salad, real muesli and fresh figs and prickly pears. Lots of coffee and each day a different fruit tart. We could not manage lunch! The drive to the best local beaches [there are lots] takes about 15 minutes - take a picnic. Clean sand, glorious clear warm water.... can't wait to return. THE LOCAL WALKS We found the walk from Cala Gogone to Cala Luna a bit hard in the heat, but still prefered to do the walk there and back. The local mountain treks are fantastic. CULTURE Don't miss the Nurangh site above Cala Gogone, it is perched above a gorge with views up and down the coast.

Very charming small hotel just outside of Dogali. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room furnishings are simple but tasteful and have character. Dinner was served on a very nice outdoor patio. It wasn't the best meal we had in Sardinia but certainly not the worst. The only negative is that it is outside of the city center so you would likely need a car to get to into Dogali. That didn't really hinder us though.

Nice to stay in a hotel which has most of the advantages of the big chain hotels and yet retains proper character. The owners obviously delight in attention to detail and have the comfort of their guests as a priority. The restaurant is excellent and the staff helpfull and pleasant.

Vi gillade hotellet mycket eftersom rummen var rena, moderna och rymliga. För oss med bil var läget perfekt.Vår balkongutsikt var underbar då man kunde se solnedgången över dalen och bergen. Frukosten var också bra! Nära till stränderna. Staden Dorgali var lite sömnig men vi åkte till Cala de gonone (10 min med bil) varje kväll där det fanns många restauranger.

Hotel correct situé à 10 km des plages.

Está un poco alejado de Dorgali, pero el hotel es muy tranquilo , limpio y la habitación amplia.También nos gusto mucho el desayuno.Lo recomiendo.

Excellent établissement; rien à redire. Etablissement spacieux calme et d'une rare propreté.

Hotel sans ame, partiellement en travaux. Le personnel est souvent absent à la recption. Situé dans un village très (trop) calme

L'hôtel est bien situé au coeur d'une région montagneuse. L'hôtel semble avoir été refait et continue à s'agrandir. Notre chambre était équipée de meubles de conception sombre. Qui aime les meubles foncés et artisanaux, n'hésite pas ! La salle de bain était équipée d'une baignoire à jacuzzi. L'intérieur est décoré à l'image de la petite ville de Dorgali "un peu triste" ! L'insonorisation des chambres laisse à désirer. Le rapport qualité / prix est très correct. Les environs sont jolis surtout Cala Gonone.

Chambre grande et confortable, la salle d'eau est parfaite. Apparement rénovation récente

Een hotel, restaurant aan een doorgaande weg. Niet in een stadscentrum. Wel rustig gelegen. Ruime kamer 4 pers, terwijl we voor een twin geboekt hadden.
