Had a great stay at hotel would recommend to anybondy wishing to stay in Dublin for a few nights.

Put us in smoking room instead of requested non-smoking. When I explained I am asthmatic and allergic, they moved us to an executive suite. It was roomy and had se extras we weren't expecting (fridge and microwave) but I had to wipe the sticky stuff off the chairs before we could sit. Some of the linens were dirty as well. Finally, parking is 4euro per day and the airport shuttle is 9Euro per person. I would spend more for cleaner and amore convenient. There is a nice mall walking distance, though.

My family and I stayed for two nights and were very happy with the hotel. Staff were fantastic, food was great, leisure center was superb. All in all, a great place. We will be back.

we stayed o/night for my birthday.the hotel is well equiped with a gym and pool,there is a shopping mall 5 min walk away and public transport to town.the staff were great and the room was clean and quiet, we would have no problem staying again.

to who it may concern my stay at the clarion was great but you must do somthing about car parking changes

We had a very enjoyable weekend.The hotel restaurant and staff were excellent.Keep up the good work.Happy Xmas

Stayed in the Liffey valley Clarion on recent shopping trip to Dublin - easy to find just off motorway close to Liffey Valley shopping centre - secure parking underground reasonable at €4 for day - staff very friendly at reception and rooms were super - had a spacious family room - excellent shower. Nice leisure centre with very friendly staff - had dinner in Kudos bar - were impressed by speed of service and kindness of staff who had no problem serving tea & toast at 8pm to one of us who was not feeling well. Have stayed there before but was particularly impressed by helpfullness of staff in all areas this time.

it was stated on website car parking is free for the residents actually it is 4 eur per night which is not big amount they should write parking is not free.

Love the room 636 all the staff were great service very good food in the bar very good decor a bit old enjoyed the pool

This Hotel is very comfortable clean and modern,the staff are very helpful.I had a double room which was very spacious tea &cofee provided t.v. had basic channels also internet acesss and I also had full use of the Leisure facilities.

Was staying 8 nights leaving each day at 6.30am so did not sample breakfast (10 euro). Main restaurant closed in evenings as there were many coach parties. Don't be put off as it is a large hotel and menu in hotel's Kudos restaurant/bar was very good. Bottle of wine started at 22 euro so stuck to a glass. The big plus point for us was the hotel's health club with gym and pool. Parkng 4 euro but included secure underground parking so was worth it. Good restaurants in area within walking distance of hotel, also shopping centre and cinema. Bus stop for Dublin a 15 minute walk from hotel. Reception seriously understaffed so be prepared to wait to check in / out.

All the basics are excellent. Nice gym/swimming pool facilities and the free high speed internet is brilliant for someone travelling on business.

The reception staff were very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. The leisure centre was busy , yet clean and the staff very professional.

BEWARE - PARKING IS NOT FREE FOR GUESTS BUT COSTS FOUR EURO PER NIGHT - THE INFORMATION ON HOTELS.COM IS INCORRECT.

Once again ,very satisfied with our stay in the Clarion, Liffey Valley. We were upgraded again to an appartment which suited our needs perfectly. As we had to take our own lunch to the conference we were attending a fridge was a most welcome extra. A few things needed attention in the room.These were rectified promptly ( eg missing remote for tv )There were more towels readily supplied and never a shortage of hot water.Have stayed in hotels where there has been a 'go slow' on the hot water supply at peak times. Nice food in the restaurant and anothe very good place to eat within walking distance.So all in all very satisfied with our experience.

Overall it was a pleasant stay, my only complaint is that the pay movies was not working in my room and even though I rang reception three times it was never attended to.

Nice hotel but something has to be done about the heat in the rooms it's a big turn off asked at reception and they offered me a fan which I already had and the receptionist informed me there nothing else she could do for me very disappointed in this as there advertising air con rooms and there like ovens . Next complaint is the bar staff while there happy to serve you just don't expect any pleasntrys please and thank you are out of there vocabulary

We booked this hotel a few months ago for our "Girlie Weekend"There were 3 of us.We arrived about 10:45 on the friday night thinking they would have given our room away because we were so late,but the staff were so nice they never said a word about us been late and because the hotel was full they gave us a FREE upgrade.A first for us.The suite we got was fantastic.The bedroom had a HUGE bed and plenty of space.The other room down the hall "yes we has a hall"Had a large sofa bed all made up,a table and chairs and a kitchen with a fridge and this room was also very spacious.The beds were Soooo comfortable we could hardly drag ourselves from them the next morning to go to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre which is a five minute walk away and has everything for a days shopping and an evenings entertainment.We had stayed here a few years ago and had great memories of how nice it was and we were hoping it was still as nice and were not disappointed. Big rooms ( even the non suite)Very comfy and very clean.Staff are first class, the hotel gets full marks from us.

I booked the Clarion to attend a family wedding and was really looking forward to it. I cannot express strongly enough how hugely disappointed I was. I had booked a twin room back in April and arrived to find a double-despite the fact I was staying with my mother. I diodn't get moved and had to insist on a put up bed. It ruined our stay and I would never use or recommend the chain again.

Excellent staff, efficiently and friendly. One problem: Bedrooms always very stuffy and lacking in air, cannot open window, otherwise a very nice hotel

Close to M50 - Great Shopping/Cinema/conveniance food - Great LemonGrass Restaraunt- Excellent. A few stains on some cushions but at that price it exceeded our expectations.

on arrival we were told we hed been upgraded to a suite.But it seemed like more of a down grade road noise from outside all night,beds very uncomfortable,tv did not work in room,noise level in bar from kids running around was unbelieveable.Iknow it is family friendly but there is a limit.

I stayed in the hotel for one month in the suite king. Overall, the stay was very good. Price is very interesting for the quality of the hotel. Staff is very nice. Rooms are well maintained. Beds are very confortable. Breakfast is good w lots of choice... from Irish breakfast to continental breakfast. Will definitively come back. Only drawback: no wireless internet in the room for a 4-star hotel.

Clean and tidy, nice rooms and TVs with on demand music with a host of old and new albums to play like a jukebox. The important stuff...around 5EURO a pint in the bar, expensive but the going rate in Dublin so to be expected. Cheap rates, didn't use pool or other facilities but family members informed me they were of high standard nd used by local gym goers

My son and I stayed here while visiting my daughter who is a student in Dublin. This hotel was the perfect location in our case, b/c my daughter works in restaurant. at Liffey Valley Mall, and we wanted someplace easy for her to walk over and meet us after getting off work at late hours, so we could all visit. It was a 5 min. walk to a bus stop to get into Dublin city center; the busride was roughly 15 minutes, and the 78A bus came every 10-15 minutes. Very convenient! The hotel staff was fantastic. They accomodated our every need; bringing a bucket full of ice, extra blankets, internet cable, etc. They were super helpful & very professional and courteous. The room was very clean and well kept. I guess the Irish hotels are very conservative with amenities?? There was no wireless in the room (needed a cable), and no hair dryer (they probably would have provided one, but I didn't think to ask). The towels were also at a minimum, but we asked for more, and were given them cheerfully! I stayed here for 4 nights upon my arrival to ireland, and booked an additional 2 nights later in my stay (we took an excoursion to another town, and stayed in a hotel there mid-stay). When I came back to check into the Clarion Liffey Valley, they accomodated us in one of their apartment-style rooms!! It had living room, separate bedroom, kitchen, and even a washer-dryer. Boy, that was convenient. And they didn't charge us any extra; just must have had it available, and felt we could be blessed by it. I would go back to this hotel anytime. There is also a Clarion closer in to the city center, which would likely be easier to access the Dublin attractions for the average tourist. This property just worked great for us, b/c my daughter's work is in Liffey Valley. Hope this review helps you.
