We were there for a wedding ,the staff were very friendly, the hotel had a great vibe and a feeling of granduer. Our room was very comfortable& clean. Overall we were made to feel very relaxed.

I would totally agree with all the reviews of this hotel, it is a gorgeous hotel and is 5 star all the way. It is in a great location being right on the river with bars and restaurants at your doorstep. Would highly recommend this hotel for a lovely romantic night in the city!

What more to say? We stayed for three nights at the end of our brief tour of Tasmania and Victoria. The Langham exceeded our expectations. Service and customer focus were of high standard, comparable with some of the best hotels we have experienced on all continents. A truly trouble free and relaxing experience.

The Lanham is a Hotel we will definitely go back to. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Our room was impeccable. Staff were very helpful. we definitely enjoyed the late check out.

The location was perfect! The cbd, shopping, restaurants, Federation Square, Queen Victoria Market, the aquarium, running along the river, all just outside the hotel or a short walk. View of the river and beautifully luxurious hotel room with sumptuous feather beds. Loved it.

We only stayed one night but wished it had been much more. A lovely hotel very well situated to enjoy the South Bank and get to the CBD and the MCG. Our room was spacious for a city centre hotel and very well appointed.

Our stay over the Grand prix weekend in Melbourne staying in what must be the best hotel in Melbourne on many aspects. Our choice of room was the King River View- Comfortable, luxurious, plush, boutique, perfect location to many many parts of melb CBD, an absolute professional crew of staff, the cleanliness of the room, bathroom, and hotel in general was impeccable. Located midway between casino and city CBD along Southbank. We have stayed in all 5 star hotels in Melb CBD and this is by far the leader and our hotel of choice for our future stays in melbourne.

Everyone who had been to Melbourne before suggested we stay here and they couldn't have been more correct. A little pricey but not really that much more than any other decent hotel in the area. Perfect location - right in the mix of all the happening stuff. Hotel was beautiful and rooms were great. If you're going to this city, stay at this hotel.

Classic convinient but a little bit expensive Parking ?? Same as the others in melbourne So expensive !!!

Stayed here on Valentine's day with my boyfriend. The staff were very friendly and we were upgraded to a river view room. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Location to access Melbourne is excellent.

it was our 28th Wedding Anniversary we have never stayed at your hotel before, it was beautiful we were on the 17th floor it was spectacular. the breakfast was 5 star.The LANGHAM Melbourne, Southbank thankyou.

Great City views of Melbourne - close to CBD and Crown.

Our room was 1109 and we had a gorgeous view of the river and city center. The Southgate shopping / restaurant area is lovely. We walked along the river a lot. The pedestrian bridge takes you to the tunnel under the train station to the activities on the other side, or walk along the river to your right and up the stairs and you are at the main entrance to that beautiful old station building and at Federation Square where several museums are located. The Langham has wireless internet available - still not to be taken for granted in Australia. We paid $99 for a week of access which was unlimited (so we could Skype back home) and usable on up to 3 devices. My husband and I use our smartphones, iPad and my MacBook Air, none of which can access the internet via an ethernet cable. So the wireless high speed access was important to us. We found a great place for breakfast which was less costly than the buffet at The Langham - which just felt like too much food. It's the Gainville Cafe next door to the TravelLodge and across from the Exxon Mobil building (look for red umbrellas and a building with giant gold Bees - yes honey bees on it). The Turkish Toast is fantastic. Loved their eggs Benedict. There are also tons of great places to eat through the mall and along the River. Need a place to get some laundry or dry cleaning done? There is a fantastic place in the mall at half the price of the hotel. Go out the front door of the hotel, turn left, go up the stairs into SouthGate mall and in front of you will be the laundry/drycleaner person. Allow 1 to 2 days. Also in the mall is a pharmacy. Rooms were lovely, clean. Staff were very helpful. We went to the Penguin Parade one night and the bellman gave us blankets to take with us - as it can be very cold in the viewing stands. The lobby is stunning with the water feature along the escalators. I used the spa - had one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had (and I get them a lot). From check in to check out I was extremely happy with my hotel choice in Melbourne. I have travelled the world and stayed in some amazing hotels in my time and this has been my favourite so far. Great service, always happy and smiling, lovely room, very comfortable and little extra's that you don't get at other hotels. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway!

Honeymoon nights are typically (late) - you arrive knackered from your wedding reception and don't appreciate your surrounds. Unless you stay as at the Langham. You're met with this sweeping grand entrance which is quite simply captivating. a glass of champagne later and you get the chance to enjoy your surrounds - the lovely room. Our one mistake - only booking one night. If I got married again (not that I intend to) I'd stay for two. Lovely stay (though brief)

An outstanding hotel, with the team awaiting to welcome you before you put your first steps in the door to an amazing view from the escalator to the main hall and dining area, you enter another world of luxury and pampering from the concierge to the spa with a relaxing massage, the food absoloutley brings alive the tastebuds with again a relaxing atmosphere, the room a comfort the cleanliness of every corner and the silence is abundent, I sept for the longest that i had slept for years without a disturbance, Thank you to the wonderfull team at the Langham, I look forward to coming back one day,

The service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a few elaxing drinks in the bar. Very peaceful surroundings and great staff.

We had two nights here for my birthday, hotel room nice & comfortable although carpet a little tired, bed very comfy & king size. Old fashioned service with turning bed down at night with a complimentary bottle of water & slippers at bedside, very nice touch. Valet valet expensive at $50 per night, but a good service, car arrived quickly on checkout. Ate at Melbas Brasserie for dinner, buffet dinner & very beautifully presented. Several cooking stations so food cooked fresh, very happy, a nice view of Yarra with a window table. Staff all very friendly & courteous. Had a lovely massage at Chuan Spa, a wonderful experience, used spa pool , pool & sauna. Thankyou for a lovely stay

As My husband & I were celebrating our 1st year wedding anniversary were booked The Teddy Bear package. We were most disappointed in the quality room received. We were given a standard room only. The bathroom was to small with the bath tub to only fit 1 person. What was that about? I will not be refering anyone who want to stay there for any special events. Anna & Vincenzo

Excellant location close to CBD, Flinders Street and Southbank. The southbank shops are being renovated at the moment although most remain open the area is a bit of a building site.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Langham. It is the ideal place to stay in central Melbourne...friendly and accomodating staff, great service in general, picturesque outlook over the River and City and close to everything.

Stayed at this hotel as a birthday celebration. Nice accomodations to spoil you buy. The location was fantastic. Right along the river and away from the city crowds. Will stay here again.

The Langham was a wonderful choice for our stay in Melbourne. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms tastefully decorated and comfortable, and the service outstanding. We made frequent use of concierges Peter and Glenn and they never disappointed. Their knowledge of the area increased greatly our enjoyment of Melbourne and their friendliness and senses of humor always brightened our day. Do yourself a favor when you stay here and rely on their advice. This was our first stay in a Langham property and it will not be our last.

WELL PLACED HOTEL OUTSTANDING LUNCH BUFFET. THE HOTEL NEEDS TO REVIEW LAUNDRY COSTS WHICH ARE PROHIBITIVE. BREAKFAST COST EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE FOR A SIMPLE BREAKFAST THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE HOTEL. STAFF HELPFUL AND CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR STAY

Great location. Outstanding service from all hotel employees. HVAC very good. Food quality excellent. Definitely a 5 Star property.

The location of the hotel is perfect - just beside Yarra River, with a view of Flinder St. Station and St. Paul's Catheral. Hotel facilities are kind of old. The service is dissappointing - reception not very helpful. Concieage and laundry are both very slow.
